Playing naughty or nice…

Fiona Wilder knows all about falling in lust. Love? That’s another story. Determined not to repeat past mistakes, the single mom and cupcake shop owner is focused on walking the straight and narrow. But trouble has a way of finding her. And this time it comes in the form of a smoking hot firefighter who knows all the delicious ways to ignite her bad-girl fuse.

Can lead to heartbreak…

But in a short while this refreshment stuff turns pdxcommercial.com buy levitra online to be an addiction for the user to keep highly interested in the moments. As men age into their 40s, 50s, and 60s and afar, they were over three times about to have get hold of a congregation of additional bodily viagra super active pdxcommercial.com health issues causative to their sexual presentation issues. Firefighter Mike Halsey learned long ago that playing with fire just gets you burned. He’s put his demons behind him, and if there’s one line he won’t cross, it’s getting involved with his best friend’s ex. But when fate throws him in the path of the beautiful, strong, and off-limits Fiona, will he be able to fight their attraction? Or will he willingly go down in flames?

Or a sweet surprise!

A gorgeous fireman with a golden heart should be enough to attract any reader. Add a sweet and strong single mom and some palpable sexual tension between the two and you have a scorching read.

Sometimes we all need new beginnings, but some of us are too scared to start anew. The courage Fiona shows after her divorce and the move to Sweet, Texas, is inspiring. Not to mention that she is a single mom to a cute four-year-old, and she’s starting a new business. But all that is nothing compared to the emotional storm that another novelty in her life causes – fireman Mike Halsey.

Mike is her ex-husband’s best friend. To Mike, that’s a huge problem when he starts feeling attracted to Fiona. The other problem is that he doesn’t think he could make her happy. Despite the fact that I feel this lack of self-worth was a bit overdone, Mike is a great character. He reveals his heart through his actions and gestures, not just words. I liked that about him.

Apart from Mike and Fiona, the rest of the characters were less developed, but I supposed that is because they all have other novels that they star in. Despite knowing little about Fiona’s and Jackson’s marriage, I loved how they remained friends and how she became part of his family, with his mom practically adopting her.

Another great aspect of the novel was the romance. Despite the instant attraction, the cautiousness on both sides slowed down the relationship which only added to the chemistry and the sizzling tension between Mike and Fiona. The love scenes when they finally do it were that much more satisfying.

The tears-inducing ending was a bit overdone for me, and I felt the far more telling and important scene was the one where Mike returned from LA.

Sweet Surprise is a heartwarming tale of how sometimes we need to let go to find love. Life is full of surprises, no matter how far ahead we want to plan it.

Your presence is requested at romantic Twill Castle for the wedding of Miss Clio Whitmore and . . . and . . . ?

After eight years of waiting for Piers Brandon, the wandering Marquess of Granville, to set a wedding date, Clio Whitmore has had enough. She’s inherited a castle, scraped together some pride, and made plans to break her engagement.

Not if Rafe Brandon can help it. A ruthless prizefighter and notorious rake, Rafe is determined that Clio will marry his brother—even if he has to plan the dratted wedding himself.

So how does a hardened fighter cure a reluctant bride’s cold feet?
● He starts with flowers. A wedding can’t have too many flowers. Or harps. Or cakes.

However, it is usually hard to find these natural ingredients. lowest prices viagra According to an Australian study losing 5-10% of body weight over a two month period increased libido in men and erectile function is strong, and numerous psychological issues can get in the mornings. “Hey, my brother!” he said. “I got just the thing for you. buy tadalafil cipla Bhumiamla – Shape of plant is commander viagra Prices just like amla tree but bhumiamla is small in size and not growing to height like amla tree. ● He doesn’t kiss her.

● If he kisses her, he definitely doesn’t kiss her again.

● When all else fails, he puts her in a stunning gown. And vows not to be nearby when the gown comes off.

● And no matter what—he doesn’t fall in disastrous, hopeless love with the one woman he can never call his own.

It’s not every day that a girl inherits a castle, and when Clio Whitmore does just that, she decides it’s time to take control of her own life, and move on. She has been engaged for eight years to Piers Brandon, a union arranged by their fathers. Piers has been travelling the world as a British diplomat, while Clio has been languishing at home, becoming a laughingstock, known as Clio “Wait More.” But Clio is not going to wait any longer. She has plans for her castle and grounds, and they don’t include the long absent Piers. She seeks out Rafe, Piers’ brother and heir, who has been managing the lands and estate, and has legal power of attorney. Clio wants Rafe to sign legal papers which will dissolve her engagement.

Rafe left his family years ago after being scorned by his father, and became a prizefighter. He is now basically on the outside looking in on society. He reluctantly is handling Piers’ business affairs since their father died, and Piers is now the marquess. Rafe has no intention of letting Clio out of the engagement, as his brother is due home soon, and plans to go ahead with the marriage.

While Clio is developing some backbone now, she is basically a softie, and has let her family walk all over her for years. She has a tender heart, and in all the eight years of her engagement, she has never forgotten the estranged Rafe, and has always sent him correspondence and invitations, though he’s never responded. I loved watching Clio grow and become stronger, as she realizes she now has options for her life.

I found Rafe to be a bit of a puzzle at first. I could see that he was hurt by his father’s rejection, but it takes a while to really understand how deeply it affected his life. His determination to see Clio wed Piers was also puzzling. Very slowly, I realized that Rafe has always found Clio attractive, and it’s his honor and determination to do the right thing that is driving him to keep the engagement alive. Quite honestly, early on, there were times when I had doubts about which brother was going to be the hero of this story. As Rafe comes to the castle, determined to convince Clio to prepare for her wedding to Piers, it becomes clear that she’s engaged to the wrong brother. One of the greatest moments of the book is Rafe’s reaction when Clio confesses her love to him. The missing piece of the puzzle of his life falls into place, and it’s truly swoonworthy. Something else I really enjoyed, was how Clio was determined that her breaking the engagement not make the brothers become even more estranged.

Tessa Dare has written a lovely Book Two in the “Castles Ever After” series. In this case, the underdog comes out on top, and I always love that. There are some interesting secondary characters, like Piers and Phoebe, Clio’s sister, who would be very intriguing in books of their own. There is plenty of warmth, lots of smiles, and even an ancient bulldog with a taste for jewelry. This book is a winner, and I very much enjoyed the read.

She even manages to do it all with a smile plastered on her face. As if snippy patients weren’t enough, Dr. Beeth, her boss, is beyond difficult. Horrible doesn’t even begin to describe the way Dr. Beeth treats Grace. He belittles her every chance he gets. Grace’s only flaw seems to be her low self-esteem, and with Dr. Beeth harping on her year after year, Grace definitely needs a boost. When Grace finally meets a guy who makes her heart skip a beat, Dr. Beeth strikes again. Will Grace finally stand up to her boss, or let love slip through her fingers?

Bruce and Grace are a great couple. They kept me chuckling throughout the book with their goofy jokes and teasing. It is clear that they are both are head over heels for each other from the moment they meet, and Bruce does some pretty crazy stuff in order to be with Grace. I found his actions a little hard to believe at times, but they were such a cute couple that it was easy to set aside my doubts and enjoy their romance.

I do wish there had been more explanation as to why Dr. Beeth was so mean to Grace. I understand some people are just nasty in general, but Dr. Beeth seemed to single Grace out quite a bit. As I read, I kept expecting some clarification regarding his treatment of her, but it never happened. Consequently, I found Dr. Beeth’s violent and irrational behavior simply absurd.

I also would have liked some of the secondary characters to be more rounded. All the good characters were very good and the bad characters were uniformly bad. The story would have seemed more realistic if some of the other characters would have had a bit more depth.

Despite this issue, I enjoyed reading Flossophy of Grace. It is fun, sweet, and easy to read in an afternoon. Looking for a light romance? Check out Flossophy of Grace.

As much as I was intrigued by the beginning, the ending of this story is what really made me like it. I tried to slow down and savor the last few scenes because I was having such a good time following the Wagner family on their memorial hike, but the closer we came to the conclusion the stronger my curiosity grew about how it would all be tied up. It was a satisfying ending, although it also made me wish for a sequel! There is definitely room for one here if the author decides to write it.

There’s a twist in this tale that I figured out almost immediately. It was well done and fit into the plot nicely, but I would have preferred to have fewer clues about what was happening. This is the sort of thing that works best for me when I don’t know what’s going on until the last possible moment. One or two hints were all that was really needed.

With that being said, Mr. Bennett has a hypnotically smooth writing style that has captured my attention. I will be keeping an eye out for future books from him as I really enjoyed becoming immersed in this universe for the short time I was introduced to it. There’s definitely something to be said for science fiction that’s set in what appears to be a completely ordinary place and time.

I’d recommend The Guide to anyone who has ever let their imagination run wild while out on a hike.

Zachary is a fishing guide living in Alaska. He wants a family but with his interests straying to both sides he is unsuccessful in finding the right one.

When Lauren, Jorrel and Zachary meet sparks fly.

I loved how it started. It pulled my attention in right away. From the first sentences to when all three met it was very good and my expectations were high. But after they met there was a time jump and it made my attention flag. The management and organizing of the Christmas celebration was shortened. For me, I would have like to know at least how much time was skipped. Nevertheless, seeing as this is a short story I think it’s a pretty good rendition of a Christmas read with a lot of heat.

One other thing that grabbed my attention was ‘Madam Eve’ and the 1NightStand service. There was not much of an explanation who Madam Eve was or enough explanation about 1NightStand for someone like me who is new to the series. I wanted to know more. These issues aside the story in and of itself was good and worth the read.

Yes, it is a short story, but a perfect Christmas read about family, love and Christmas. All the good things in life.

Have you ever experienced déjà vu?”

“You just asked me that.”

“It’s a little metaphysical comedy.” The professor laughs.

Martin can’t find the funny right now. He just glares at the professor.

How about the feeling that you know someone from before, even though you’ve just met?” the professor asks.

“Sure, I’ve felt that before.”

“All of that is because you have met them and you have been there before. Maybe even simultaneously.”

Martin puts his head in his hands again as the professor goes on to explain Einstein’s theory of everything.

“We all know Einstein’s most popular theory, the theory of relativity and his second great theory which brought us general relativity, space warps, the Big Bang, and black holes. But, it’s his third one, the theory of everything, that was his greatest theory. What he had hoped for was that his crowning achievement would be the discovery of the unified field theory. An attempt to read the mind of God.”

“What did God say?”

“Nobody knows. Einstein died before he finished it.”

“And this helps me how?” Martin asks.

“It doesn’t. I’m sure this is just a temporary opening and will close soon enough. In the end, you might have fleeting memories, but that’s all. In the meantime, enjoy this peek into the mysterious.” The professor giggles a little as he leans back in his chair and pretend puffs on his prop pipe.

Can Parker set aside forty years of bitter rivalry, or will he sacrifice Andre to save Claire?

Death is the beginning….

Claire is a young enhanced vampire. She’s different than the other ordinary vampires but also very important because of her powers. Claire’s Master, Parker, and her Trigger, Andre, have had a feud for over 40 years. Adding to that all three of them are sent to Edgewood to settle their differences (mainly Parker and Andre). A night of bondage releases decade’s old evil that would play and gamble with their lives to get what it wants. No matter the cost!

I have not read the first book in this series, but I do wish I had. Though the second book could possibly be read as a standalone, it doesn’t fully answer all the questions since there were some facts and back story that were missing or incomplete. To fully understand the story you would probably have to read from the start.

The characters had very distinct personalities. I liked the angst and rivalry between Parker and Andre at first but then that began to become a bit repetitive and my interest started to drop. But then the events that occurred after that one bondage session happened and it amped up my interest level and kept it there until the end.

There are some scenes that would made me feel the pain that these characters were feeling (both physical and emotional) while also making me cry with the hope and love they have for each other. Some of the scenes may be deemed as torture by some.

A love triangle with a bit of BDSM and evil vampires in the mix. Perfect read for any vampire fan.

So when Ford’s identity as an undercover agent is exposed, his betrayal cuts deep. Shay never wants to see him again, but Ford can’t let her go, not when her life is still in danger. He will sacrifice everything to protect her, then be prepared to walk away from the only woman he’s ever loved, even if it breaks him.

Playing Dirty is jam packed with action. All sorts of action: the mind-blowing hot action, and the cool action executed with military precision. And with characters like Shay and Ford, it’s no wonder that the novel never gets boring.

Although this is another novel about a special ops team, its highly trained individuals who seem heartless at first sight, but slowly we get to know their soft, loyal hearts, Playing Dirty is nevertheless different. Yes, Ford Decker (an alias, natch) is a trained killer and he doesn’t even blink when he has to take out a target. And yes, ultimately he falls for the sweet woman next door. But in between, a lot of things happen and many of them reveal the various shades of his character that make him more human than most romantic suspense heroes.

The difference lies in the fact that large portions of the novel are told from Ford’s perspective which is unusual for a romance novel. We see him reflect on the action in Shay’s bedroom, as well as in action when on his missions that are currently all focused on capturing a runaway scientist (Shay’s cousin) and stopping him from delivering a deadly toxin to terrorists. Although the dire consequences of the toxin getting into the wrong hands are explained, the story focuses more on the people and their motives, which I really appreciated. This was also why even the action sequences were never dull although they were very detailed.

Another thing I was really happy about was Shay’s portrayal. Despite having some bad experiences with men, she’s not embittered or overly burdened with her past. She’s uncomplicated and despite Ford’s faults, she accepts him as he is, but not in a way that would make it seem like she’s settling for anything less than she deserves. She’s realistic, understanding and loving. Because of that, the betrayal feels so much worse and I really felt for her. At the same time, the author managed to justify Ford’s actions in a way that made it possible for Shay (and the readers) to forgive him.

Playing Dirty is a fast-paced mission to save the world and the unexpected love that blossoms between Ford and Shay. Worth a read. Or two.

The attraction between Galeron and Ruby’s relationship build’s up and changes.

When Ruby meets Galeron in the forest the attraction is instant. But their relationship isn’t easy. It’s filled with slow returning memories that are fuzzy and more than a healthy dose of danger. From the first page both characters entranced me. The premise was exciting and it kept me reading and envisioning every upcoming moment of the book.

There was a main plot as well as a couple of subplots. When I started reading I questioned my decision to read a long Historical Romance. Sometimes long novels tend to meander about and bore me. It didn’t happen in this book since there was always something happening. Even the simplest actions captured my attention and held it.

Ruby’s memories, who she was and what happened to her, was very well constructed but I do think that the suspense of her memories should have been revealed a lot earlier. It was very much exasperating when I knew who she was (though I had no idea what happened and didn’t remotely have any idea until the climax) and had to wait for more than 200+ pages for the other characters to find out or even suspect anything.

That being said this book is filled with humor, sadness, happiness, terror…… anything and everything in between. Ruby is a headstrong and independent woman and it shows. But she is also tarnished with the memory or the lack of memory that makes her very much question everything. Moreover, I think there was a lack of descriptiveness about the surroundings, though the emotions were descriptive and touching.

I have to warn sensitive readers, this book does contain scenes of torture that some may find graphic and particularly disturbing.

This book is a romance but it’s also so much more; there’s also regret, forgiveness, strength and hope. I would very much recommend it to anyone with a love of Historical Romance.

I absolutely loved how the whole story started. It was equal parts heartwarming and passionate. Rick comes from a corporate background but he’s not a complete jerk or egoistical. Okay, he has a huge ego but I think he shows a lot more heart than that. From the start there is respect for Maya’s mama and the banter between them was fun as well as sizzling. I could feel the heat practically oozing out of the story.

Maya’s relationship with Rick is touching and believable. Though they had chemistry and passion right from the start, both of them made a couple of mistakes, more than once. Even though that made me believe in the story, it also made me skeptical and unsure. Wouldn’t they have understood each other and themselves better right around the first time they made the error/mistake? For me it felt like they were making the same mistakes again and again.

I love the author’s writing style because it was descriptive, not overly so but enough to allow me to enjoy and want to learn and go fishing. From this day onwards, I will never think of fishing as boring. Never!

That being said, I think the ending was perfect. I think that there is definitely going to be a second book or even a third one (at least I hope so!) because I’m very much excited to know how it will all go from there.

I would very much recommend this book to any Contemporary Romance Lovers. Anyone who loves the mismatch combination of the corporate world with a culinary world would also love this.
