Guilt kept him away from Santana for years, but once he has her, he’ll let no one stand in his way from keeping her.

As the only child of an abusive biker and an alcoholic mother, Santana Rogers had one hero she could turn to in her life. Stake Wills, a member of the Kings of Bedlam Motorcycle Club, was her father’s best friend, her savior and her lifelong crush. When her father is sent to prison, the club and her only friends turn their backs on her, leaving her to deal with the fall-out of her father’s crime on her own.

Santana is proud of the way she’s persevered through the hard and lonely years. When Stake reappears in her life after the County Sheriff attacks her, she isn’t sure she’s willing to let him back into her life and her heart. And if she does, she’s not sure she’ll survive having her heart broken again when he inevitably leaves.

It just about killed Stake to walk out of Santana’s life, but after his best friend’s death, he’s forced to choose between the motorcycle club and keeping an eye on Santana. The club is the only family he’s ever known, and a blackmail threat by Santana’s mother threatens to destroy it all. He realizes that he made a mistake, but that won’t stop him from trying to prove to Santana that he’s still the man she needs him to be.

I enjoyed this book a lot. The fast paced drama and the characters pulled me into the story and then I fell more in love with the hero as each page was turned.

I loved reading Stake and Santana’s story. This is a great story of redemption and salvation for each of them. Santana grew up as a child of the Kings Of Bedlam MC. Her dad was an enforcer for the club until he got killed in prison. After that the entire club turned their backs on Santana and her mom. Santana is unaware of it but her mom had blackmailed the club and as a result Santana was suffering for it. Stake had to make a hard choice of choosing Santana or his club. He chose the club the first time but felt tremendous guilt for leaving her. When he discovered how much Santana needed him then he didn’t hesitate in making the right choice. From that moment on Santana was his first choice and he didn’t hesitate in claiming her as his Old Lady.

Santana pulled at my heart and I loved the angst and drama of her situation but the abuse and attempted rape could be an emotional trigger for some readers. If not then it will certainly be an emotional read that will tug at your heart. For myself this was the kind of story that I enjoy reading. It was easy to fall in love with Stake because he was ready to give up everything for Santana. I also liked the heat level in the story. It was a steamy read that was very well written and fast paced. It also had some intriguing secondary characters that I would enjoy reading about, especially Tiny and Gypsy.

I enjoyed this book and would love to read more books set in the Kings Of Bedlam world. Biker romance readers will love this one. So happy reading with my recommendation.

The silent man, known for making problems dissapear spent years holding onto a secret that kept him from the one thing he wants most, Blue. Beneath the hardened exterior of this Warrior, rests a heart that beats for one woman. Laying all his cards on the table, he risks upsetting the balance among the Strongs and the club to complete the family he always wanted.

Trying to distance herself from the life of Kings of Chaos hasn’t been as easy as Bluebell Strong thought it would be. With a seemingly perfect man, Blue still can’t see herself continuing the relationship with Jamie Rolf Stevenson. Blue is always the good girl, and being the saint to all once again steps up to take care of her nephew, but will her sister Calla reveal secrets that could damage the family as they know it?

An enjoyable read with a unique plot that, for the most part, kept my interest. There were a few areas that fell below the line of entertaining. Perhaps those scenes could have been omitted or in some way added to the storyline to make it more interesting versus making the story drag. This may sound weird but I enjoyed the author’s writing style more in the first part of the book better than I did the latter part. What I mean by that is the first part of the book revealed Blue, her thoughts and her feelings. The author wrote lines that had a poetic flow but as the novel went on it lost that style. It’s possible Blue started out as a strong woman willing to take a stand for what she wanted, going against her family and ending a relationship that she knew wasn’t for her. I liked that Blue. I didn’t like the lighter shade of Blue, the one that was submissive to the alpha male. All the ‘you are mine’ and ‘who do you belong to’ just wasn’t that appealing to me. Blue was a woman that had be through enough why did she have to be broken down to being someone’s property? And being property to a man that she desired? Is this the behavior of the motorcycle clicke, well perhaps so. Why couldn’t Blue and Shadow be a power couple where Shadow is the man without all that extra “I am alpha” male?

Calla is the big sister no one wants to have. I mean really how disruptive and disrespectful can one sister be? These two are totally opposites. Blue is loving and motherly and Calla is all about herself and making everyone else’s life hell. But without Calla this story wouldn’t have all the juice and drama because it seems Calla laid the bricks to put some of the drama in motion. Mr. Perfect Boyfriend Jamie also did his share to add to the drama. So hands down this author knows how to create the unlikable character and bring a few servings of drama to make a novel that is sure to satisfy it’s readers. Who can turn down a sister revealing a few family secrets and a man with a vendetta? Let’s not forget the sizzling attractions between Blue and Shadow. Though I felt their relationship lacked development, and that they just jumped right into the physical, their physical action is sure to give readers a steamy pleasing rating on the sensual scale.

For a reader who may not prefer to read profanity, this would not be a book that I would recommend. There is also an over usage of the word “God” during character conversation.

This book series has potential and I would like to see how the family of bikers react to the ending devastating consequences so I would give this author another try. Though it’s not high on my ‘you must read’ list I would still recommend this to those that enjoy a hot sensual read with plenty of drama.

Elizabeth Boyle’s fun-filled Regency series, Rhymes with Love continues with this next installment featuring Miss Lavinia Tempest. With her sister married, Lavinia must navigate the rocky shoals of London society with none other than that notorious knave, Mr. Alaster Rowland, at her side. Will he help her find true love or be her passionate ruin?

This is a very romantic story and sure to please many historical romance fans. For me, the most telling scenes dealt with Lavinia dancing with Tuck. Those were the moments that told me Tuck’s fate was sealed. This confirmed rake and bachelor was going to fall but the antics, challenges and surprises which kept him sober also helped make this book a rollicking good read. It was comical seeing a guy so completely out of his element trying to keep up with a woman who tries to be proper and organized and yet manages to discombobulate him every step of the way.

One can easily get Kamagra online sildenafil in canada by choosing a genuine destination.
The author painted a wonderful backdrop for her story and her characters, and the ensuing dialogue not only kept me reading but kept the story moving at a brisk and steady pace. A reader will find many reasons to grin and chuckle throughout The Knave of Hearts.

Another point about this novel that pleased me is that the timeline interweaves a bit with the story about Lavinia’s sister, Louisa, in The Viscount Who Lived Down the Lane. The Knave of Hearts can certainly stand on its own but for fans of Ms. Boyle’s previous story, reading this book about Lavinia next makes it extra fun and interesting. However Lavinia’s story comes with its own villain and drama which brings out the hero hidden deep inside Tuck. The ultimate demise of the villain was a shock. I never saw it coming and the sharp surprise made more of an impact and increased the likeability of the novel even more.

As much as there is light heartedness and humor in the telling of Lavinia and Tuck’s romance, there is a sad and touching element that haunts both books, and it has something to do with a friend from the past, and some letters. There is a cleansing of sorts, a wrenching off of the band aid of time which forces Tuck to face his fears and regrets. A healing begins between two men and affects a third. It’s happy yet bittersweet at the same time.

Tuck also has some fascinating skeletons in his closet that he tries to distance himself from but the author makes those skeletons rattle and come out at the best possible time to have an extraordinary effect on their romance and the suspenseful part of the plot. It was quite enjoyable and kept those pages flipping. I love it when a character is revealed to have more depth and personality than led to believe. Tuck might have started educating Lavinia but she turns the tables and shows him how very improper she can be. Very cool stuff.

The Knave of Hearts is a treat not to be missed. I adored watching Tuck and Lavinia fall in love and I truly believe this is a story well worth reading. The very end of the novel was written so well, it caused me to sigh in romantic bliss – now that’s romance.

A sweet but sexy read consisting of a witch with a sweet tooth and a cowboy looking for his missing sister–how can this go wrong?  Together the cowboy and witch bring the best out if each other. I loved reading every moment of it.

Rebecca is a baker and witch who starts to fall for the cowboy who enters into into her life looking for his sister.

Now Rebecca is a sweet and kind woman who loves helping people even if it may hurt her–I could completely relate to her because haven’t we all had someone we’ve cared about even though we know it could end in disaster? I loved how Rebecca came into her own–it didn’t hurt that the cowboy Dru Tanner happens along about that time, too. This is a kind if damsel in distress trope, except Rebecca is an independent woman and she can take care of herself. She’s the type of person who will be there with her friends through the thick and thin, but she’s not afraid to give her blunt version of advice at the same time. Her sassiness drew me in. I wanted to know more about her and I couldn’t help but root for her. She felt real and I liked that. Now add in Dru and it’s a great story. The passionate chemistry between Dru and Rebecca was perfect.

There was little mystery and comedy in the basic plot. These elements enhanced the story. I laughed, cried and smiled a lot while reading this book. If that was the author’s plan–to make me go through the gamut of emotions, then she hit the mark.

I have to admit, the first couple of pages started out a little rough. I think the main reason could be either the tenses or the POV, but don’t let that discourage you. It took me some time to get into the rhythm of the story, but it was well worth holding on. I”m glad I did.

This is a book for a reader with a sweet taste and love a touch if mystery, paranormal and comedy in their books. Recommended.

Santa didn’t give bad boy Elf Brody his Christmas wish. Instead of sexy Beryl, he’s stuck with goody-goody Holly for a partner. But Brody discovers the best gifts aren’t always wrapped in the fanciest paper and Holly is so sweet, she melts on his tongue.

First impressions don’t always tell you the full story about someone.

Brody’s character development was nicely done. I’ll admit to not being a big fan of this character at first due to how he treated the elves and other creatures around him. He wasn’t a particularly friendly guy at first, to say the least. Seeing how he evolved over the course of the plot, though, did end up changing my opinion of him as well. By the final few scenes I was rooting for him to find his happy ending!

The chemistry between the two main characters never felt quite right to me. While I liked them as individuals, they were about as different as two elves could possibly be. Because of this I struggled to understand what they saw in each other. Had only one of them narrated the storyline there might have been more opportunities to show what was attracting them to each other and what they shared in common.

The world building in this tale was strong. While Brody and Holly were the focus of the plot, there were so many hints about what their lives were like in the North Pole that I could easily imagine how their entire society operated. The subplots never overshadowed the main plot. Instead they created a richly layered backdrop for the main characters and made me wish for a prequel or a sequel because of how intrigued I was by everything that was going on.

Wicked Game should be read by anyone who has ever judged a book – or an elf – by its cover.

How far would you go to hide an embarrassing secret?

I really enjoyed the plot twists. They weren’t at all what I was expecting to find, but they fit the overall tone incredibly well. I also liked the fact that the narrator didn’t give me many hints about what might happen next. Not being able to easily guess what the main characters might decide to do actually made a lot of sense given their personalities. It was a good choice to write the plot twists and their reactions to them this way.

There were two competing storylines in this tale. While I was definitely interested in both of them, I could never tell which one was supposed to be the main storyline and which one was supposed to be the subplot. The focus switched between them so often that both of them were straddling these roles. Having two equally important storylines would have worked nicely for a longer book, but it did feel awkward for something of this size as I was never sure which one I should be paying more attention to.

The dialogue made me giggle. Both of the main characters had unique voices that I was quickly able to pick out before the narrator told me who was speaking. It was entertaining to go through the process of figuring out what their speech patterns were like and what kinds of things they liked to talk about. This was especially worthwhile when it came to the scenes that only included Misty and Braedon.

Reading Tinsel Wars felt a little like riding a roller coaster. Give it a try if you’re in the mood for something unpredictable and fun.

I loved this book since the first page and I’m glad it’s the first in a new series!

Ava is smack dab in the middle of a prophecy that could be the start of a war that would change the paranormal world and bring about peace.

With every page I read, more was revealed and I had to keep reading. The world-building is great and the characters are well-written. For the first part of Ava’s life, it’s been pretty normal. She’s relatable that way, too. The thing is, she knows that there maybe supernatural or paranormal beings in the world. I won’t give away any spoilers–you’ll have to read the book to find out how she figures it out–but let’s just say it’s very close to her. It doesn’t hurt that her best friend has the power to see visions. Ava is thrust into a world that she knew almost nothing about but instead of panicking, she vowed to do the best she could and learn her magic with the help of her mother. It’s up to Ava to fulfill the prophecy and make her mother proud.  You’ll have to read the book to find out how this all shakes out.

Its a cliffhanger and I almost didn’t mind–which is good for me since I’m not fond of cliff-hangers. That said, the plot is well-written and kept my attention. I wanted to know more about these characters because they are detailed and likable even the villains are interesting.

If you want a book that will keep your interest, then this might be the book for you.

Not after what happened with the last few skeptics…

All Lucas may want is the truth, but that doesn’t change her feelings towards him. And when the ghosts appear, she and Lucas must work together—in tight quarters—to convince the resident ghosts to move on before a storm strands the entire crew on the island. Can Arabella put aside her prejudices long enough to see what the ghosts are trying to tell her? And if she does, will she and Lucas have a shot at a lifetime?

This is a wonderful ghost story and if readers also like to watch Ghost Hunters or Paranormal Witness, then this novella is extra fun. Why? Because unlike the T.V. shows, in Ghosts of Kingston Cottage the hunters not only find the ghosts and interact with them but two on the team become convinced that the power of true love is real. They get to see it and feel it in the most unlikely of ways. Talk about romantic!

Arabella is the one who can see and talk to ghosts, and Lucas is the reporter who is there to debunk them or validate them. Talk about a conflict of interest! What is delightful is the fact that Lucas comes to believe. It’s actually easier for him to believe in the ghosts than it is for Arabella to trust him because she’d been severely burned by someone she thought loved her in the past. So, she has a lot more protection around her heart and it’s almost impossible for Lucas to break through. Leave it to the ghosts to teach her a lesson and learn she does.

This is a fast, engaging and clever read that is delightfully entertaining and fun. There are no mean nasty ghosts or dark drama for readers to worry about. Ghosts of Kingston Cottage is really about love and it’s character driven. I enjoyed how the author focused on the case and let Arabella’s professionalism and personality speak louder than anything she could have said to convince Lucas that her talent was real. The romance between Lucas and Arabella grew gradually over the course of a few days and its swiftness was addressed with some of Lucas’ family history. It made absolute sense to me and I like the story better for it because this tale is truly charming.

I liked meeting Katie and her husband Seamus and the challenge they presented to the team. From the sounds of it, they were good people in life just as they were in death. I was very happy that they finally got their HEA. As for Lucas and Arabella, their lives are just starting to be lived out so it’s a happy for now kind of wrap up. The sweet thing is, I have no doubts that a happy ever after is in their future. Especially after the romantic and grand gesture Lucas ends up offering Arabella. That clinched it for me.

For readers who crave and enjoy the physical expression of love, it’s there but it’s like a big giant reward after all was said and done. I felt the author handled it just right. In fact, it was perfect. I’m quite happy.

Ghosts of Kingston Cottage is a treat to read. It really is. It made me feel quite cheerful at the end and upbeat. The novella could actually lend itself to a Hallmark movie plot because it has all the elements that one would expect from the ‘feel good channel’. This book might be short in pages but it’s got a lot of heart and has a solid story to tell. If you’re in the mood for a ghost story that won’t scare you but one that engages the heart then give this one a try. It’s well worth it.

So what made this book so interesting? It wasnt only the mystery and suspense but also the relationship between each the main characters. This book was sweet and caring and then hot and sizzling. There were more twists and turns than a roller coaster! All of the twists and turns, plus the many dimensions of their relationship built the tension in the book and made it a great read for me.

Throughout the story, the mystery and suspense played a massive role. The story was cleverly written and I’m excited to see who would be featured in book two. I’ve got some ideas and I really hope the author continues this series. Games are meant to have challenges, but with love on the line, games should take a back seat. Instead, this Christmas Eve becomes a race against the clock, a race to catch up, and a race to outrun those who dare to break them apart.

Most workdays are so quiet and ordinary that you soon forget exactly what happened during any particular one of them. Every once in a while, though, a workday arrives full of surprises. Will Randolwyn know how to react when this happens to her?

There were a few different funny moments that caught my attention. This is something I really enjoy discovering in erotic stories because of how it can be used to temporarily break the tension while also keeping the plot moving forward steadily. These funny moments were definitely used this way in this case, and that was a good thing!

The chemistry between Varian and Randolwyn never felt quite right to me. This was due in large part to how rapidly and regularly their opinions of each other changed. As a result of this, I was never entirely sure what they’d think of one another in any given scene. I would have liked to see more attention paid to why their moods were shifting so quickly so that I could have better predicted when they might change yet again.

This tale was full of intricate world building. I noticed it the most in the backstories of the two main characters. Their earlier lives were only given a few sentences’ worth of attention, but what the narrators did share about them made me want to know more. The brief glimpses of the society these characters lived in were absolutely fascinating because of how complex they were.

I’d recommend Racing Wild to anyone who is in the mood for something short and saucy.
