Tony’s sister Sharon has spent a year planning the perfect wedding. Tony’s very nervous about being on display on stage as one of her attendants, and that’s before everything goes wrong. Lost tiaras, drunk groomsmen, the list is endless. Without the love and support of Josh, Tony simply would never have survived the weekend. What else could possibly go wrong?

Tony is committed to Josh and loves him. But with gay marriage now legal in their state, and Tony’s sister Sharon getting married, wedding fever has taken hold of his friends and family. And Tony’s just not sure he’s ready yet. Sharon could be crowned queen of the Bridezilla’s and it’s totally turned Tony off all things wedding. With so many things going wrong Josh is starting to wonder if there will ever be the right time to talk Tony into legalizing their commitment. But with two rings in his pocket he’s determined to find the right moment and try.

This is a lovely, sweet short story. Tony and Josh clearly love each other and seeing them work their way towards a legal commitment is wonderful. The antics of Sharon and her demands, the drunk friends of friends at the rehearsal party and all the usual drama associated with a big to-do made for a funny backdrop on what is really a heart-warming love story. The sex is hot and descriptive, but I don’t feel it’s kinky enough to turn off new readers to the M/M genre. I enjoyed the story especially with the host of funny, drunk, realistic secondary characters.

I found this to be a great quick read, funny and light but still well written. Tony and Josh are clearly meant for each other and seeing them sneak in their happily ever after was lovely. Recommended.

This short erotic tale has a poetic flow that paints a visual picture of the surrounding scenery. The author’s words offer a visual seduction that were a pleasure to read. I liked how the author let the moment happen. Callie found pleasure but wasn’t greedy to want more, which sometimes can mess things up. She didn’t over think it; she lived in the moment happen. A hot short read with a ending that wasn’t predictable.

A deserted mansion perches on a steep hillside, overlooking a rocky canyon. Tattered curtains hang behind broken windows, and a turret stretches toward the sky. Three years ago the wealthy owner disappeared suddenly, leaving behind a house full of secrets: A mysterious note, tantalizing clues, a hidden floor, one piece of a treasure map, and a missing fortune in diamonds.

The second thing you need to understand discounts on viagra the mechanism of this medicine when using it. It has the ability to treat ED and also to delay and best cialis price heighten orgasm. Recreational medicines are also proscribed because they cheap tadalafil 20mg contain amyl nitrate and butyl nitrate. Fallopian tube blockage may be the result of diverse in?ammatory procedures due to proximity of fallopian tubes. buy viagra usa Thirteen-year-old sleuth Skylar Robbins moves into the mansion with her parents and embarks on a new and dangerous mission. Armed with her detective kit, and with the support of her BFF Alexa and a team of secret agents, Skylar sets out to decipher the clues and find the diamonds. Can she outwit a gang of aggressive bikers and find the hidden jewels before they do? Or will the perils of middle school–like battling ruthless bully Emelyn Peters for the attention of class hottie Dustin Coles–get in her way?

Old houses can carry a lot of secrets, but they’re not always keen on revealing them.

It was a lot of fun to observe Skylar’s relationship with her parents. This was the first time that she’s attempted to solve a mystery while living with them, so there were many opportunities for her sleuthing to be squeezed into otherwise ordinary days. The relationship between mother and daughter was particularly interesting because Skylar and her mom have completely opposite personalities and interests. The occasional disagreements that resulted from these differences were well written and believable.

The character development was also strong. Skylar has learned from her previous adventures and occasionally mentions those lessons as she attempts to solve this mystery. I liked seeing a slightly older and more mature version of this character and am looking forward comparing this version of her with who she will become in the future.

My only criticism of this tale is a minor one. Early on in the plot Skylar’s parents buy a house that’s three times the size of what they actually need. The characters discuss how unusual this decision is, but they never really give any concrete reasons for why a small, nuclear family would have any interest in such a huge home. I would have preferred to see at least one more conversation later in on the plot explaining this decision.

Attempting to solve the mystery before anyone in the plot figures it out is one of the things I look forward to the most with this series. The clues are revealed slowly and methodically. Some of them are easy to figure out, but others require more thought. I’ve really enjoyed puzzling out both of Skylar’s mysteries so far.

This is the sequel to Skylar Robbins: The Mystery of Shadow Hill, but it can be read as a standalone novel. The most important background and character information from that story is briefly recapped in this one.

Skylar Robbins: The Mystery of the Hidden Jewels has made me eager to read more about Skylar’s adventures. I’d heartily recommend this tale to anyone who is a fan of mysteries or the young adult genre.

For Sarah, a summer up north is the perfect opportunity for her sons to get to know their father’s family. It’s also a chance for Sarah to learn the truth behind why her husband left his childhood home at such an early age. What she doesn’t count on is falling for their handsome host. She also doesn’t count on finding out the family legacy: Mingan means wolf!

Her deceased husband and father of twin boys has been dead for three years, but when his widowed wife, Sarah receives a letter requesting she take the twins up north for the summer of the boys 12th birthday she finds it strange but complies. Why would Sarah’s deceased husband request that she connect with a family that he seemed to distance himself from while he was alive?

Heart Shifter was a refreshing read that gave just enough. I enjoyed the mystery behind the family secret and also the attraction between Sarah and Mitch. Sarah loved her husband and thought highly of him but his cousin Mitch Mingah has a dark sex appeal that Sarah can’t help feel the pull. From the description the author has given Mitch, he sounds irresistible. The characters were likable and the plot was original. The author has a talent for writing. I even enjoyed the domesticity writing details of the day to day breakfast, grocery shopping and family gatherings.

There were a few typos but nothing that would take away from the reading flow. The ending was slightly predictable but still manages to not leave you disappointed.

This is a book of wolf shifters. However as I stated earlier the author gave just enough of a balance between romance and a soft version of the wolf behavior. I enjoyed the family heritage and family togetherness. If you enjoy a novel of wolf shifters but you don’t want all the violence and killing this will be an enjoyable read for you.

When Kyle and Daniel return to their hometown to get married, they find themselves facing an obstacle course of family drama and small-town misadventure in their quest to make it down the aisle.

Misbehaving relatives and a reformed high school bully, along with an ill-advised hookup in the wedding party and a weird late-night meal with a cabbie and his ex-wife, leave the happy couple doubting whether they want to get married at all. But a hot quickie before their walk down the aisle helps remind them that the most important part of getting married is being married.

Kyle and Daniel have returned home to get married. While Rochester isn’t their favorite place on earth, it’s where both their families call home and will make their mother’s happy. What follows is a funny, all-too-believable clashing of worlds. City vs Small Town. Old school traditions vs modern life. Despite an incredibly rocky road with well-meaning but insane family members and high drama, Kyle and Daniel love each other and are determined nothing will get in the way of them tying the knot.

I’m sure there are many readers out here who will know all too well how realistic many of the scenes in this short story are. Well meaning but aggravating mothers who can’t let go of their youngest child. Cousins who haven’t yet understood that this “passing phase” is actually a new life path they’re starting out on. Comments being said at exactly the wrong time. It’s all part of real life and the drama associated with weddings. I enjoyed the extremely modern language, though I had to find myself rereading many sentences multiple times to make sure I understood them properly (…because Rochester….because, modern speech…) and think particularly amongst younger readers this will go down a treat.

While this isn’t an intense, explicitly erotic story (one quick sex scene), the love is clear between Kyle and Daniel. I really laughed aloud at a few of the family antics and some of Kyle’s inner monologue. I’ve been in a few wedding disasters — but Kyle and Daniel’s totally take the cake. I found this to be a really funny, true-to-life telling of the lead up to a wedding. The napkins, the family drama, the ill-timed bachelor party, the last minute nerves (and completely inappropriate make up session). This is a fun, well-written wedding story with a twist and memorable characters. Recommended.

Two thousand years is a long time to have to wait to meet your mate. It’s even longer when you’ve been buried alive.

I love new to me authors, getting a feel for their talent and how they weave a story. Ms. Chenery did a good job. I enjoyed the hybrid true immortal story line.

A very short read, this is a good one for readers who want intensity but don’t have much time to devote to long drawn out novels. I was a bit sad when this one ended but only because I kept imagining the interaction between the characters after the last page. I adored Waverly even as things progressed too fast for her; she still hung in there and was a champ. As for Brolach, I was fanning myself over him – protector, lover and a Vampire/Wolf that had been sleep for two thousand years. It made me laugh when I pictured his face as seeing a car for the first time.

I don’t know what the author has planned for future books in this series but Waverly’s brother needs his own story – what a character he is, so full of himself but loyal to his sister. Cameron the lone wolf; yep, he needs his own story.

If I could change something it would be the length, it truly needed to be a bit longer to give the characters more time to develop. Brolach is all alpha male but he could have been more likable if I could have had more time to get to know him, understand him.

Everything else meshed well. I’d give her a B+ on the sexy scenes and the premise was a win. I enjoyed the dialogue and how smoothly the pace flowed. I will be looking forward to reading more of Ms. Chenery’s work. I’d recommend this to any shifter lover. Enjoy.

From page one, firefighter Jude Mason grabbed my heart and wouldn’t let go. Ms. Carr begins the story with a vivid description of his feelings and emotions that truly made me feel sorry for him.

Sadly, this wonderful work of description does not last and about half way through the book there is a loss of emotion in favour of a lot of telling. For this reason, or perhaps it was due to the sometimes stiff dialogue, I wasn’t able to fully feel the connection between the characters.

However, regardless of these points, the story was enjoyable and the sex was also hot (their first kiss is epic and the scene in her office is sizzling).

All in all, Burning Love by Cassandra Carr is an entertaining, quick and pleasant read.

In an alternate 1900s New England, suspected witches are sent to the gallows–although they are hardly the witches of olden days. No, these are gorgeous contemporary girls with lives, loves, and special powers. They’d use the power for good, if they could–like curing disease–but they are in a world where helping someone means putting themselves at risk.

Spotswood’s characters simply shine. The good in their hearts speaks louder than any special magic skills, readers can’t help admiring them and sympathizing with their plight. These are not the dark characters found in some tales: no, in fact, Cate’s specialty is healing magic. Tess, who can foretell, seems always the sweetest and most vulnerable of the sisters, Maura… oh, dear, Maura. Sisters can be sisters! In a family of remarkable closeness Cate and Maura have their differences – different approaches to try to achieve the same thing, only here, those differences might lead to disaster.

Cate struggles not to lose boyfriend Finn, who has no memory of her, while being true to her sisters. Finn is a simply wonderful, real, heartfelt character; readers will adore him.

Spotswood’s New England is both familiar and entirely strange: geographically the same and yet, a magical world that is scene to the struggles between powers.

Although part of a series, this can be read and understood as a stand-alone. Reading this makes me regret not starting at the beginning! Although a ‘paranormal,’ Sister’s Fate, so character-driven, will have a wide general appeal and might well draft a few new readers to the genre! Beautifully written.

The problem with wandering through the woods alone is that there won’t be anyone else around to help you should something unexpected happen. It’s even more dangerous when the trouble is otherworldly in nature.

The opening scene gripped my attention immediately. I felt nearly as disoriented as Cadence did before I figured out what was going on. This was my first introduction to Ms. Lewis’ playful writing style. Based on how much I enjoyed it, I will be keeping an eye out for what she comes up with next. She appears to be quite comfortable using her vivid imagination for the science fiction and fantasy genres.

What didn’t make sense to me was the romance. The characters involved in it were fascinating as individuals, but they had many more reasons to distrust one another than they did to feel any sort of mutual attraction. I would have preferred to see them solve their problems without this subplot. It might have worked well in a sequel, but it wasn’t necessary for this story.

This world is filled with mysterious creatures. Many of them have already been described in the original version. It was amusing to see them again, especially the ones that I’d nearly forgotten reading about. While readers don’t need to have any previous knowledge of this universe, those of us who do remember the lesser-known parts of it will get a few extra chuckles out of this tale.

The Vanishing is a good choice for anyone who has ever wished they could really visit Wonderland.

Will this love interest settle Dalhart or will his quest to seek something different have him back on the road again?

The Kerr Construction Company was a book that left me puzzled. Starting with the book title; looking at the title and the cover I was under the assumption that the construction company would be a business owned by the primary character or a family business. That is not the case in this book. Dalhart is, as mentioned in the book several times, a graduate of Texas A&M and a marine who’s no longer on active duty, that for some reason is seeking something different in life. Why? The author really doesn’t go into a lot of details why. There is also no sense of the time era given in the novel. However, there is reference to President Carter being in office so I can only assume the story takes place between 1977-1981.

I am not sure what to take away from this story. Dalhart was a wanderer afraid to settle and commit to a location but settled enough to attend Texas A&M and become a marine. He is okay for some reason settling for a minimum wage job, sleeping in a vehicle and washing up in bathroom sinks were the scope of his existence. He meets Carmen, a newly divorced waitress, and Dalhart told her his status that he doesn’t have a place to stay but she thinks he is the best thing since indoor electricity. She ask him to the movies, and the next time they meet she wants him to meet her mom.

There are snippets of Dalhart work day but it’s not really telling any information. Then in the next sentence he will be with Carman. The story is missing a structured plot. The story is a consistent level tone with no flavor, real conflict or any kind of twist to it.

I’m not saying the author doesn’t have skill. The writing was clear and maybe could be more enjoyed by someone that likes the rugged life or a wanderer. As a woman reader I would have liked to see the man be a man and bring something more to the table, if not romance than something stable. Carmen is newly divorced and what made her attracted to Dalhart from any other man wasn’t really clear. I did enjoy the conversations and time spent between the two. And also when Dalhart was away from Carmen he did miss her and couldn’t wait to be with her again. That was touching.

All in all The Kerr Construction Company was an okay read, but it’s not one that I would highly recommend.
