I have always enjoyed a little non-fiction within my fiction stories so this really attracted me. I would have likee to see a little more about his following of King Arthur directly, but it definitely added to the storyline.

I couldn’t let them go.

David. Where do I begin on him….he’s a character most readers can identify with. He’s not old, but he’s feeling every one of his forty years. We all have those moments when we don’t exactly feel desirable. I actually rather liked that about him. I felt like Sav’s acceptance of Mindy in their lives is a sign of his love and trust in Aaran that was integral to making the whole relationship work.

My only real problem with the story is that I felt like I was thrown into the story with only a couple of snapshots of the past to get me caught up and invested in the present before it moves swiftly towards the HEA. I would like to have been given some more background on both Arran and Mindy’s relationship as well as how/where Aaran met and fell in love with Sav. Having said that, this is a short story and it is still an entertaining read despite its length. Tangled Up appears to be the third in a series but it works without issue as a stand-alone. If you read Must Be Doing Something Right or Learning How To Bend you’ll enjoy being treated with a visit from the co-owner of Besta Pizza Around, Nate Waterford.

When I read the previous book, Dream Mate, I thought it could not get any better. Pride Mate has got everything I admired in the first two and more…in spades.

One of my favorite things about this series is that the mating bond is a sacred thing to the Katzman race. I love how each couple, once accepting that fate has brought them the perfect match for their soul, has become such a rock solid team. Commander Chellak Rai and Demyan’s happily ever after is continued from the first book in the series, affirming that their love is forever. This lasting bond makes the love scenes even more intense as their connection is strengthened. I was extremely impressed by the obvious research that went into creating a believable and captivating story. She even went so far as to create a new language for this particular tribe of Katzman.

There are violent elements in this tale which are to be expected as it is about a warrior and his mate. This series also deals with issues that cannot possibly be approached outside of the fantasy realm, but will make you wish it could happen all the more. While this book can be read by itself, the experience would be more complete if the previous books were read first.

I have enjoyed reading this book many times and have eagerly recommended it to my friends. Bogden and Anjali have become one of my favorite m/m couples and I look forward to hearing more about them in the author’s next book. My favorite quote from this book is not in English, which testifies to Ms. Glenn’s versatility in writing: “Entya haby, entya hyety, entya a’lhabby…you are my love, you are my life, you are my heart.”

Prior to reading this story I had not heard of this author, but after reading it I will never forget her. The premise alone caught me at first glance. When I read about were-bird and a were-leopard in the blurb I knew I would have to read this story just to figure how that would work. I hadn’t anticipating falling in love with the characters, but that is exactly what happened.

Nicodemus (Nico) has all of the attributes I love and hate in an alpha male. It sure made me think about starting an arguement just to see what will happen next!

This is the fourth installment of this series, but only the first one I have ever read. This story reminded me of why I love doing book reviews. It gives me a chance to discover authors I may not have ever heard about, but cannot see my life without their stories now that I do know them. Hunter is sappy at times and a little gruff around the edges but I liked it. There are things in his past that most people would have a hard time dealing with and I loved how Max is there to lighten the load. Both men felt real.

This book had plenty of twists and turns I didn’t expect, as well. I literally couldn’t put the book down because I had to see what would happen next. Something I really enjoyed about this book was that it wasn’t just hot sex between sexy men with some plot thrown in. It was plot driven, gay fiction with steamy sex added for flavor. I couldn’t get enough.

If you want a book that’s got heart and will make you both smile and cry, then you need to read Taking You Home. Worth every bit of the 4.5 cherries.

The way they interacted with Calam and Ilyna was phenomenal for vampires. They care deeply and it reflects greatly in their actions through the end.

Where do I even start with this book and how amazing it was? Not only were the characters well rounded but the story was deliciously written to where you couldn’t help but turn the pages to read more. The ending was both delightful and surprising. I didn’t see it coming but I was happy when it did. I have read each and every one of the books in this series and with each one Ms. Bradley makes me look forward to the next.
