Clayton’s Balls

When it gets hot; sticky, Mississippi delta hot; it always takes me back to that summer; the summer I turned twelve, and Clayton Sproul.

“Only mad dogs and Englishmen go out into the midday sun” or really bored twelve-year-old boys. In the shade of the maple trees that lined Spring Street, my best friend, Ed Compton and I were playing “homerun derby” using my whiffle ball bat and a ratty, old tennis ball Ed had brought. I’d just sent the ball sailing to the other end of the block for the third time and Eddie refused to get it. “Too hot,” he said and plopped down on the curb.

“Bullshit!” I protested. “I fetched for you. I’m, sure as hell, not getting it.”

“Leave it; full of dog slobber anyway; had to wrestle it from Bandit.”

Some dweeb, on a baby-blue Schwinn, dashed after the ball and came back with it. “Can I play?”

“Steady fielder,” hissed Ed.

“Meaning… I don’t get to bat?”

“You’re a genius,” said Ed, dismissively.

The dweeb started pedaling away.

“Hey, kid! My ball?”

“You didn’t want it. It’s my ball now. Finders keepers…”

Ed stood up. “Give…, or I’ll give you a fat lip.”

The kid got off his bike and tip-toed to get in Ed’s face. “Try it,” he spat.

I started roaring with laughter.

“Ballsy little prick,” tittered Ed and waved off the advance. The kid gave a smug nod and with that, our friendship began.

He name was Clayton Sproul; a year older; small and pale; an only child from Cherry Hill, New Jersey; banished to northeastern Pennsylvania to spend the summer with his aunt while his parents “worked out” some problems.

Over the next two weeks, our bond and the temperature, grew. Too hot to move, we spent most of our time flopped down somewhere in the shade swapping lies.

It was Ed who came up with the idea. “I’m bored outta my gourd. Let’s hit the Cubbies, tomorrow, early, before the sun comes up. We’ll catch some fish, then swim.”

“The Cubbies?” asked Clayton.

“Two swamps; peat bogs really; up on a mountain ‘bout eight miles away,” I explained. “First Cubby is crystal clear; good for swimming but not for fishing. Second Cubby is as black as coffee, but great for bullhead and perch.”

“We’ll fish Second Cubby first, then, when it gets too hot, we’ll mosey on down to First. If no chicks are around, we can skinny dip.”

“Smashing idea old chap,” said Clayton in a dead on British accent. We cracked up.

The following morning, we got up and pedaled our butts off. Drenched in sweat, we baited up and cast out into the black water. Four hours in, the only thing biting were the bugs. Midday, some high school kids showed up with beer and weed and started splashing around.

“We ain’t gonna catch shit now,” complained Ed.

Clayton peered into the murky water and asked, “How deep is it?”

“Deep…” I said.

Clayton climbed up onto a large rock, beat his skinny, white chest, did a half-descent Tarzan call and jumped in. Ed went next and then me. We jumped off that rock for hours.

I don’t know why we weren’t paying attention; can’t remember… but when one of the potheads said, “Man, that kid can really hold his breath a long time,” I looked around, and my heart sank.

We dove in a hundred times looking for him. The fire department sent divers in for a week. They said the lake was bottomless; nothing but mushy peat, who knows how thick, and he must have sunk in it.

Decades have gone by. The mountain is now a ski and golf resort, the second Cubby a water hazard where Clayton rests on the bottom; preserved in tannic peat; forever thirteen; pale and skinny.

Sometimes, I stop and watch the golfers. Occasionally, a ball will plunk into the black water but I’ve never seen anyone brave enough to reach in and fish it out. If they did, I wonder, would Clayton pop up and snatch it back? “You didn’t want it. It’s my ball now. Finders keepers…”

When people fear the unknown, being Gifted is a curse.

In the cornerstone of the rural south, Brooklyn, Mississippi, no one dares make eye contact with the strange Caibre family. Until the rewards are worth the cost. The townsfolk come, cash in hand, always at night, to pay for services only a Gifted can provide.

No matter the Gifts prevalent in her family, at twenty-one, Tallulah is expected to follow the path laid out for her: marriage, babies, and helping her mama teach the family home school program. She’s resigned to live the quiet life and stay out of trouble…until she meets Logan.
The pills should at least do justice and must treat the issue from the person they love, so there cheapest cialis is conflict between loving the substance abuser and holding them in contempt. As with all joints, the sacroiliac joint is the connection of the sacrum, or lowest part of the spine, including the low back tadalafil 5mg online or lumbar spine. Extreme erectile dysfunction is impotence and best viagra india is basically the best medicine so far which should be used as per the instructions which are given by licensed physical therapists, having a good experience in this domain. An outsider and all around rebel, Logan doesn’t care about her family’s reputation. Yet after a tragic loss wreaks havoc on the crumbling relationship between the Caibres and the townsfolk, Tallulah must decide if love and freedom are worth risking everything.

New Adult and Young Adult genres mix in this late coming of age story. The protagonist, Tallulah, has a path laid out for her by her magical family, living in semi-secrecy in the rural south, but she, and the non-magical community, are set to buck the trend. This storyline would be typical for a young coming of age story, apart from the fact Tallulah is much older than most looking to fight against their family values and find love where she wants it.

Her romantic interest is likeable, attractive and not the obvious choice for the area she lives in. Being new to dating and in her early twenties, their relationship is unusual for this age group. She’s new to everything, curious and excited to get to know him better. Their kisses and care for each other felt genuine. However, the insistence on cutting away from the sex scenes often left me wondering if a sex scene took place, or not. It was a little too ambiguous in some scenes. Were they making out, interrupted by the next plot point before they could get any further in love making, or did they go the whole way? I still have little clue.

The main plot takes a group of these young magical people, including the protagonist, and pits their wits against a local danger, a person who has been attacking their magical community and inciting hatred in the non-magical nearby town. Their fight back is believable for a group of young adults, but I found myself asking questions: ‘why do they not talk to their parents’ and ‘what are the parents doing about all this?’ Very often it seemed the parents were happy to provoke the nearby town and ignore the issue of who was the perpetrator, upping the stakes and tension level without much logical reasoning. I felt to be more realistic, the parents needed to show a more active fight back, logically looking into who could have caused the attacks against them as well as hitting out at anyone that doesn’t like their community. In many places, it felt like the older generation were more than happy to accept their fate, or incite it.

That said, the mystery of the attacker was fairly well-kept. I guessed who they were about half way through the story and was proved correct, which is better than some murder mysteries. I felt a few more red herrings could have been used to truly disguise the attacker, but it wasn’t badly done, and I was gripped by the storyline until the very end, staying up late to finish the book.

I enjoyed the creative magical community which was created out in the sticks, and the new approach to magical ‘gifts’, with some I’d not heard of before. This rural community was well-built and had a real charm to it. I also found the climatic final scene within this community to be satisfying and enjoyable. There was more worry and pain than joy, but it was a realistic ending to the polarised feelings of those who could use magic and those who couldn’t.

In essence, this is a dark fantasy, coming of age tale. We see and hear of bombs, rape, murder, prejudice and violence against women. It’s all shown in context, but it’s the kind of dark human behaviour which we don’t usually see in a fantasy romance. It gives the story some extra punch, but it does mean I came away from the story feeling a little darker about the human race as a whole. If shades of grey are what you enjoy in your fiction, this book is for you. I, for one, look forward to a sequel, hopefully one with slightly less prejudice.

Jake Crosby has traded in a stockbroker’s suit and tie for a standard-issue uniform. As a newly minted Mississippi game warden, he has two tough cases to cut his teeth on—the ongoing robbery of wealthy hunters and the ruthless search for a rumored hidden fortune.

According to local gossip, several million dollars have been missing since the conviction of local conman Bronson Bolivar, and following his death in prison, his two grown children have torn his property apart looking for the funds. As Jake searches for the robber who targets well-to-do outdoorsmen, he finds a trail leading to the Bolivars. But the allure of quick cash also draws unexpected interest from both Bronson’s former cellmate and an upstanding federal judge. Will Jake understand the severity of the situation in time or get caught up in a web of deceit?

The reason is that the chemicals orden 50mg viagra deeprootsmag.org in cigarettes directly harming the fetus or newborn child. However the recommended dose is one pill so take care cheapest levitra that you don’t exceed it. I am a Bobby Cole fan and this is another book that I thoroughly enjoyed. This one is full of suspense, action and humor that I’ve enjoyed from all of Mr. Cole’s books. Jake Crosby has recovered from his injuries along with making a drastic career change from stockbroker to game warden. This new career brings about many time consuming cases from wealthy hunters being robbed to keeping up with the Bolivar twins as a favor for Judge Ranson Rothbone.

When unclaimed money is concerned people are liable to do just about anything to get their hands on it, each person for their own personal reason; be it for a good or for selfish pleasure it doesn’t stop one from dreaming and even going on the hunt for the almighty dollar. The town story is that Bronson Bolivar hid money, not even disclosing the location to his children. The line of people wanting or just dreaming to get their hands on the money is quite lengthy.

Judge Ranson wants the money to get his wife’s medical treatment. So he places Jake to keep a close eye on the Bolivar children. I was a little puzzled why his wife wasn’t on dialysis for her kidney problems, but I’m not in the medical field and there was too much other story to focus on so I left that as an afterthought. The Judge’s love for his wife and her getting the proper treatment was very heart touching.

This is a book that just doesn’t focus on one storyline. I felt it bought about many tangents that the author could touch on later and as a reader it gave me a more filling read because it made the characters seem so real and their life as though it’s not fiction. My favorite character would be Virgil Fain, Jake’s coworker and his yellow lab, Kramer.

Virgil has experience and knowledge in all things. He adds a certain flare to the book with his logic and humor in what he says and does. One thing I did notice that the author didn’t reveal how Virgil’s banana diet turned out at the end of the book. Kramer was a handful for Jake’s wife Morgan and the things he got into brought about realness to the family life.

I enjoy this author’s writing style. This novel flows with a unique plot that is told with true talent. The suspense and action!  I felt sorry for the Bolivar twins, Chase and Chance. Their father had money but didn’t disclose to them where it was located before he passed. As a parent we know our children and perhaps Bronson knew the money would be his children demise, but then on the other hand it could have been that Bronson was just as selfish as his children and didn’t want anyone to end up with the money. The hunt for the money ruled his children’s lives. Tracking down their father’s cellmate to see what information he has about the money, to fabricating lies, stealing, and to finally each twin having their own secret from the other. This was not a model family but following their journey and the depths they would go to to get their hands on their father’s hidden money is a story that is worth reading.

Foraging the cyber-world for puzzle pieces…

Zeus Hernandez, a Black Raven partner, is pulled away from a top-secret project to be the personal bodyguard to lawyer Samantha Fairfax. Terrorists have rendered the future frightening and uncertain, but Zeus and Samantha’s past makes two things crystal clear: she’ll be furious to see him and he can’t refuse the job.

Sorting pieces as stakes rise…

Danger surrounds the International Terrorism Tribunal, a court convened to combat terrorism. Samantha is thrust into the limelight when her mentor dies as the trial convenes in Paris, France. Her role requires steadfast focus and nerves of steel. She’s determined to do her job and move her life ahead, according to plan…without Zeus. He’s determined she’ll reconsider.

Completing the puzzle as their worlds collide…

As personal drama escalates behind closed doors, terrorists take aim at an Achilles’ heel that is capable of crippling Zeus, Samantha, and Black Raven. While forcing puzzle pieces to click into place, a personal reckoning looms for these two strong-willed people. There’s no denying they might be better off apart…but they fit together so well.

Wow! What a ride!

Jigsaw is everything I expect in romantic suspense. It has the perfect balance of sexy romance and edge-of-your-seat suspense. I was engrossed from the very start.

Sam is a bright, ambitious woman. She has some familial advantages that open doors for her, but she earns the spots she gets. Her latest job, though, comes when the previous person dies … and they aren’t sure if it was a natural death or murder.

Enter Zeus. Hand-picked by Sam’s grandfather to guard her, he and Sam have a past. A very hot, very emotional past. It’s hard for him to agree to taking care of her, but he doesn’t think anyone else will do as good a job (despite how much he trusts the other Black Raven people).

The book starts out quickly, with a member of Sam’s inner circle dying and Zeus and his people hit the ground running. There’s a running theme about privacy being a thing of the past. Jigsaw refers (mostly) to a program they use to find things out about, well, anyone. It sorts through every bit of data available online and reminds the reader just how much is out there.

The romance between Sam and Zeus was the only reason this wasn’t a solid five star book. Zeus is ready to give their relationship another try, but Sam is stubborn and resistant. While I understand her desire to not be hurt again, it’s clear to the reader that Zeus is sincere and that she’s crazy about him. Their physical relationship starts up again pretty quickly, but she’s not willing to commit emotionally. It doesn’t help that she has a boyfriend she’s intending to marry down the road.

Also, near the end, Zeus’ brother shares something with her that felt a little intrusive. I get he wanted to help his brother, but it kind of felt as if the author wasn’t sure how else for Sam to find out about this, and instead of just finally trusting Zeus and opting to give their love another try, she suddenly had everything wrapped up in a little bow about the past.

That said, I really did love the author’s voice. She’s a master of the written word. Everything flows, there’s nothing that felt stilted or that pulled me out of the story. The ease of the writing made the book like a movie in my mind. Clean. Clear. Interesting. So well done.

Also, this is book two in a series, and I didn’t feel at all lost. Yes, I could tell I was missing out on some things that might have made my experience even richer (for instance, the book opens at a wedding and was likely between the characters from book one). But the author does a bang-up job filling a new reader in. It stands alone very nicely.

All-in-all one of the best books I’ve read lately. Recommended.

Little does she know that magic is hitching a ride on this vacation from hell, courtesy of her friend Nichole who has knit a little pirate-y magic into the sexy monokini bathing suit Stephanie has tucked away in her suitcase.

She may find all the items on her list, but what is she supposed to do about the pirate who sails away with her heart?

Stephanie works twice as hard as anyone else in her office as a contracts lawyer. Five years of long days and no breaks has her pretty tightly wound, though, and when she snaps at a client she’s ordered by her boss to take a holiday. This is how she ended up on a small Caribbean island with no desire to be there. With a list from her boss of relaxing holiday items to do and a promise that the owner of the resort was a personal friend of her boss, Stephanie has no option but to take the stupid holiday and do what she’s told.

I really enjoyed the writing style and pacing of this story. While Stephanie could have come across as sour person or a workaholic pain, the author managed to inject enough humour and characterization into Stephanie that I connected with her almost immediately. She seemed to me not just to be stressed from her high-pressure job, but also in such a rut and so used to working madly that she no longer knew how to switch off and unwind. The list of tasks – and analogue camera requiring proof! – made me laugh and in a very short number of pages I was on board with the whole scheme and plot for the story.

I rather liked Rick’s character too. He was a lovely not-pirate and I was seriously impressed with how much of a gentleman he was especially when it came to Stephanie. While the conflict was rather clichéd, I found the rest of the story surrounding it was fairly novel and fresh to me. This helped me get past the slight frustration of the thankfully quick scene when Rick and Stephanie confronted each other, and allowed me to simply enjoy their holiday fling together. I thought the sex was steamy hot but not outrageous, descriptive but not smutty. Romance readers won’t be disappointed with the ending either, I found it a deliciously Happy Ever After and felt it really finished on a high note.

A fun, warm, lighthearted romance I found this to be a wonderful book. I loved watching Stephanie unwind and her and Rick find their happy ending together. A sexy, summery beach romance that is sure to appeal to many readers.

An interesting paranormal romance with a Greek mythology background.

I’m not sure what I expected when I picked up Taken, but it was nothing like what I found on the pages. Though technically, this takes place on modern day earth, except for saying that’s where Layla lives and has her workshop, we may as well be in a fully fantasy setting. The world-building in this book is pretty complex, and honestly I had some moments of being a little confused. That may be partly due to the fact this is the second book in the series, and it really throws you right in to the action with not a lot of background to begin with. I haven’t read book one, and I do recommend that you do — it’s a good story! Why not start at the start?

The author has a wonderful ability with words, though. The book is complex and detailed and very well constructed and edited. That makes it a joy to read.

Layla was a interesting heroine. I didn’t much like her at first, though. She’s independent to a fault (sometimes a little stupidly), brash, arrogant … but with her bloodline and background, that’s not completely unexpected. Thaull has the patience of Job to deal with her. But deal with her, he does, and quite effectively. I really liked him a lot and could see why he managed to wear down Layla’s protests.

I’m not a big fan of the “fated mates” trope, which does exist here … sort of. Thankfully, the author deals with it in an interesting manner and Thaull is a little subtle about that. He’s not subtle about much else, however, and Layla doesn’t love his bossy manner. At least not at first. She does, however, love his hot self and they definitely indulge in some sexy times. That said, the sex scenes are pretty subtle and occasionally even take place off the page.

So much happens in this book. As is typical with Greek mythology, everyone is getting into the game. it’s a massive chess board and a dozen people are moving the pieces. Sometimes the action happens so abruptly, though, I got a tad bit disoriented. There are lots of characters, lots of settings and lots of subplots that take a bit to sort through. Honestly, though, that just ultimately makes for a better story.

Taken is unique. In a world jam-packed with paranormal romance, this one stands alone.

Then one day, a dream comes when David finally sees her face clearly: Mimi.

Although this novella has an interesting tale to tell, it is disappointing in that it does just that—it tells the reader about every event. There is no firsthand experience with the sights, sounds, tastes, emotions, or lives of its characters. As a reader, I did not get to live the story with its characters, but rather stood in the background for its retelling. One early chapter gives the entire long ago backstory of the main character’s original meeting (dialogue and all) and his subsequent relationship with Mimi via a counseling session with his friend and therapist, making this feel more like an extra-long synopsis than a novel.

Finding Mimi is a quick easy read with a hint of mystery, and you’ll not find a single typo or misused word. It might be the perfect novella to take along on your next flight or quiet getaway.

You Can’t Go Home Again…Except For Summer Love.

Eat a stick of butter or return to her hometown? School teacher, Kinsley Bailey, would rather risk the caloric overload. Staunton, Virginia is laced in bad memories of a mentally ill mother, an estranged father, and the first boy who broke her heart. Yet the news of her father’s death has forced her return to the nightmare. Now in the heat of the summer, Kinsley’s left unraveling the mysteries surrounding a house, an antique gun collection, a flabby basset hound, and a safety deposit box that no one in the family wants to discuss.

After a series of tough breaks, army soldier, Bastian Harris, desires the serenity of small town life in Staunton. Even with women signing up for his shooting courses and emphasizing their desires for a different kind of target practice, he keeps his nose down and his gun in his holster. Yet when a certain auburn-haired blast from the past comes blazing into his shop to sell her dead father’s antique gun collection, he might have to reconsider the tranquil life and take up arms for the one woman he never could forget.

Kinsley Bauley is a 33 year-old school teacher forced to return to her hometown due to the death of her father. Kinsley is full of resentment mostly towards her father, who took off when she was eight and never contacted her again. She also holds some grudges toward Bastian Harris, her childhood best friend and first heartbreak. Now she is back and she will find out some inconvenient truths that should have been told to her a long time ago. Also she will meet Bastian again.

Kinsley is an interesting character; she was working in a corporation and one day she decided to become middle school chemistry teacher. She has a good life, but she still is dreaming about her first love. I had mixed feeling about her during the story. Sometimes I perceived her as a strong and independent woman, and sometimes she acted like silly immature little girl. But in the end she turned just fine.

Bastian Harris is yummy hero. He is cool, he is nice, he has a daughter he loves a lot and he is much more down to earth than Kinsley, although he has his own issues. But his issues are much more real than Kinsley’s. As a couple they are great match; sweet and lovable.

The story is set in a small town and it has all the regular characteristics of stories in this kind of setting i.e. colorful characters, noisy and amusing old ladies and funny animals (in this case a dog).

My biggest issue with All I Ever Wanted is the foundation on which the whole story is built. I find the idea way over the top that Kinsley was thinking about Bastian for so long. I cannot believe that she kept wondering for 20 years why he did not continue a relationship after the kiss they shared when they were both 13 years old. I cannot believe that she was dreaming about him for 20 years, while pursuing her career, making big bucks and having a good life.

If you do not try to analyze backstory too much and take it as it is, All I Ever Wanted is a lovely and funny story.

Retired stage magician Dr. Marvelry prefers to stock his antique store with strange and occult items. He has always enjoyed meeting odd people and hearing their stories, the legends attached to mysterious objects. A phonograph that seemingly replays a tragedy. Fertility dolls that are more than decoration. A bedeviled mannequin. These are just some of the relics this eccentric shopkeeper has collected over the years.

No two customers will have the same experience in his curiosity shop — some walk away satisfied, others are never heard from again. But one thing is certain – when you purchase an item at this store, you often get more than what you paid for.

Every antique has a story to tell if you know how to listen to it.

Brent and Kevin Buckley’s experiences in “The Victor Talking Machine” was a wonderful introduction to this collection. Their happy relationship contrasted sharply with the strange phonograph they’d just brought home. I enjoyed seeing how they reacted to all of the weird things going on around them. It made me curious to find out what would happen next, especially once both characters agreed that something needed to be done about their situation.

There were a few tales that would have benefited from having a little more attention paid to their endings. “The Letterbox” was one of them. Josh, the main character in it, accidentally found an antique letterbox that used to belong to his grandparents while browsing Marvelry’s shop. Since Josh had just purchased his grandparents’ old home, he was thrilled to begin outfitting the house with some of its former possessions. I was completely fascinated by what happened after the letterbox was installed in the same spot where it used to hang when the main character’s grandparents lived there. With that being said, I was a bit thrown off by how quickly the storyline ended. There was so much tension being built up that never had a chance to be fully resolved. If not for these missed moments in some scenes, I would have given this book a five star rating as it was otherwise a thrill to read.

In “The Painter’s Premonition,” an artist named Justin got more than he bargained for when he brought home an old easel. The foreshadowing was fantastic in this one. While I did have a pretty good guess about what the twist ending might be ahead of time, it was still a lot of fun to see the main character slowly move closer and closer to the conclusion. I also appreciated how much effort the author put into describing the paintings that Justin was making. Those details made me eager to know what he would paint next and if my guess about the meaning of his work was correct.

Marvelry’s Curiosity Shop was delightfully eerie. Give it a try if you’re in the mood for something spooky.

Kurt Trench loves running a successful auto repair shop with his twin sister Lena. Lately loyal customer Shane Dolan has been coming around more often, and Kurt assumes it’s because of his sister. While Kurt wouldn’t dream of coming between them, he can’t help being drawn to Shane himself…. Or thinking about him in ways he definitely shouldn’t.
The Dosage of Kamagra It is extremely important that purchase of levitra you only order medications that have been prescribed to you. The demand for the sildenafil india is ever increasing. The propensity to keep away from sexual contact can frequently leave viagra in india online https://pdxcommercial.com/32-desired-addresses-portland-business/ the partner feeling reviled, unappealing and unwanted. When a man suffers from this cialis australia prices condition, he does not get erections for satisfactory enough for enjoyable act.
One night everything changes. Kurt doesn’t reciprocate Shane’s kiss—he’s got no intention of stealing his sister’s man—but when he tells Lena what happened, she can’t believe how thick her brother is. She’s not the reason Shane’s been coming around the garage, and Kurt and Shane have more in common than a love of classic muscle cars. Now it’s on Kurt to make the next move, assuming he hasn’t blown his chance for good.

Kurt loved owning his own garage, enjoying his work as a mechanic. Shane is a regular customer who gets along well with Kurt’s sister, Lena. Shane might make Kurt run hot, but he refuses to even consider stepping on what he believes is his sister’s turf. Shane, however has other ideas, and when Shane purchases a 1970 Barracuda and asks Kurt to help with the fixing-up, Kurt just can’t say no.

I found this to be a muscle-car-lovers dream of a story. Kurt, Lena and Shane all love speed, cars and a good engine along with getting their hands messy under the bonnet. I’d think that rev-heads should be in romance-heaven with the attention to detail the author gave this story, but I can assure non-car-aficionados (like myself!) that there’s nothing overly complex described, nor did I find the car-related details swamped the sexiness of the story itself.

I was a pretty disappointed with the misunderstanding in the plotline. While initially I found it an excellent conflict point, I couldn’t help but feel it dragged on far too long into the story itself. More than half the length of the book was tied up in it. The plot really shouldn’t – to my mind at least – have dragged on more than a chapter or two, certainly not as long as it did. By well over the middle of the book I felt like it had got to the point of being almost silly, and I was frustrated by how unintelligent it made Kurt appear. Not just because Kurt didn’t realize the truth sooner, but also for keeping his feelings secret from his sister. This lack of understanding and communication really pulled the story down for me and doused a lot of my enjoyment. I really feel this aspect of the plot should have cleared up much faster – and given us more of the book to enjoy Kurt and Shane’s relationship.

Having said that – once Kurt and Shane finally do get together, the sex is hot and fantastic. The two men had been friends for ages and they were perfectly suited. This extended far out of the garage and the joint love of hot, fast cars and moved perfectly into the bedroom. While I might have wished for far more of seeing the two men together – rather than just as friends – I can’t fault the action once it finally begins. I found the sex to be hot and intense, the chemistry sizzling. I thoroughly enjoyed the lovely, happy ending and found it a satisfying finish to the story.
