You’ve discovered Rebecca’s secrets. You’ve discovered Sara’s secrets. Now Sara will discover “his” deepest, darkest secrets…but will those secrets bind them together–or tear them apart?

This amazing third full novel in this series left me wanting more information about the other characters but satisfied that Chris and Sara’s story had reached a great end.

Would you follow the man you love no matter where he went in order to discover his secrets? Our hero Sara says YES! I love that our heroine has survived and grown regardless of all the tragedies in this series. She has become an independent woman willing to take risks for a chance at happiness. I enjoy reading stories about characters that grow, mature and become stronger.

There is no doubt now that Chris is in love with Sara. He is such a tortured soul. It is obvious he is seeking redemption and just has not found the right person to give it to him. I love how the author depicts his reactions. It shows a soul in turmoil and confusion, which serves the story well.

Their search for insight into each other takes them back to Paris, France. This part of the story is very interesting because it provides insight into the type of life Chris has lived in order to survive his guilt. Pain and liquor have been his temporary reprieves. The characters introduced in this part of the story are well developed and further the story, elucidating the depths of pain Chris has subjected himself in order to survive.

The mystery and suspense in this story continue as to the fate of Rebecca and Ella. The issues introduced here ensure we will see more compelling installments to this series. As a “who-done-it” mystery, this series has been gripping and nail biting.

In summary, if you have been following this series, you will not be disappointed. We have been given enough information to continue hoping Rebecca may still be alive, while hoping Ella will be found. Chris and Sara’s love evolves to an all-encompassing level. I would read this book over and over again. There is so much going on; I am still hoping to discover additional clues as to the fate of these characters.

Crayons have feelings, too, in this funny back-to-school story illustrated by the creator of Stuck and This Moose Belongs to Me

Poor Duncan just wants to color. But when he opens his box of crayons, he finds only letters, all saying the same thing: His crayons have had enough! They quit! Beige Crayon is tired of playing second fiddle to Brown Crayon. Black wants to be used for more than just outlining. Blue needs a break from coloring all those bodies of water. And Orange and Yellow are no longer speaking—each believes he is the true color of the sun.

What can Duncan possibly do to appease all of the crayons and get them back to doing what they do best?

Thoroughly enjoyable, this clever book about a crayon revolt was just a plain fun read. Even my teenager laughed all the way through.

When poor Duncan decides to color and opens his box of crayons, he finds letters instead. The crayons are tired of being mistreated.

The letters are well constructed and the pictures are just perfect. My heart broke a little for poor beige (he’s so defeated in his picture … tired of being called “light brown” or “dark tan”) … I couldn’t get him out of my head even after I finished, I felt just awful for him.

And peach! I laughed at him hiding in the box, naked because he’d been used so much his paper was peeled off.

Yellow and orange argue about who is the right color for the sun … and so much more.

If you’re looking for a just perfect book to teach words and colors to your preschooler, I highly recommend it. It’s amusing for parents as well as kids and just so well done.

Even after so many years apart they share a love that cannot be broken. There have been so many secrets and so many regrets but the two learn to look forward not dwell on the past and all the what ifs. Both have lived a half-life longing for what they lost and never taking the chances that they were given. I truly enjoyed seeing Viola and Vladamir reconnect and hope that we get to see more of them in future books. Both have grown in the years that they have been apart but when they come together it is as if no time has passed at all.

Not many books will pull on your heartstrings like this one and it will only make you want more. I can count on one hand how many books have made me feel so strongly and have actually made me cry like this one. I am excited to return to this world and see where the author will take this series.

Inked Ever After by Elle Aycart is a novella follow up to another book in the Bowen series. I haven’t read any other book in the series, yet I still thoroughly enjoyed this story. I definitely related to Tate Cooper and her nerves and anxiety leading up to her wedding.

Tate and James love each other very much, and I found it refreshing to read a story with an already established relationship. Watching James try and get Tate to open up about what she’s going through as the wedding approaches was a real treat. Especially since Tate has some very creative ways of avoiding talking about her issues.

There are some majorly hot scenes in this book. Tate and James are very creative in their lovemaking and the scenes are very well written. There is a lot of emotions in this story and I felt for the characters right along with them.

I definitely recommend this story and I myself will be going back and reading more in the series.

Excerpt:

Paul arrived home that night “Jeeves, I’m in love,” he said to his butler.

The emotion filled him with a sense of purpose. He had a name and a face. Now he could find the address. With Jeeves’ help.

Paul Vincenzo’s butler peered over his half-glasses. He sat at the giant island in the giant kitchen. “That’s the third time this week.”

Paul undid his bowtie, dropped it on the kitchen counter, and then pulled out his cufflinks. Jeeves just didn’t understand.

Paul thought back to the way her hair glowed under the chandelier. As if the heavens had shone a light just on her. He couldn’t have stopped looking at her even if he’d gone blind. “No, really. I met the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen.

Jeeves put down his newspaper to sip from a glass of white wine. “I’ll bite. Who is she? A Greek heiress slumming it in New Jersey? No? A starlet on sabbatical.”

Paul shook his head. He understood the butler’s reluctance to believe him. Women had always been a salad bar to him. He’d wanted to taste them all, but this time it was different. Daria was different.

“Jeeves, I’m serious. Her name is Daria Jacks.” He’d liked the feel of her name in his mouth. Daria. He rolled it over in his mind. Daria. What an interesting name.

“And what does this fine specimen of a woman do?”

Jeeves’ question brought him back to reality. Not many people at the ball had even known her name, let alone where she’d come from. Like Cinderella, she’d lost her shoe. “I think she’s a doctor. Maybe a vet.”

“You think?” Jeeves lifted his paper back up to read.

“I didn’t actually get to talk to her.”

Paul had been a panther stalking his prey all night. She’d been seated well across the room. Her date hadn’t led her onto the dance floor, giving Paul a chance to cut in.

Her elusiveness had made the chase even more exciting.

Jeeves frowned. “How do you know you’re in love with her?”

“There was something…” he paused to find the right word, “familiar about her.”

As if he’d known her all of his life. Or maybe in another life. Not that he was deep or metaphysical. He just knew there’d been a connection, a meeting of the minds. Their psyches had bonded.

He strolled to the fridge to pour himself some wine.

“Uh huh.”

Jeeves wasn’t buying it, but Paul didn’t care. He had to meet Daria. As sure as he’d take his next breath.

Roseâtre takes one look at the white tigers that the stage manager has brought in to shake things up at the Midnight Mystery Lounge, and nearly has a heart attack. It doesn’t matter that the beautiful creatures’ handler raises her pulse and makes her want to purr. The tigers are sure to recognize her—and arouse her need for the hunt.

Pride outcast Anthony diNapoli wasn’t expecting to encounter an Amazon princess when he brought his white tigers to the lounge. The lucrative show will go a long way toward securing his future, but not if he gives in to the urge to make her submit to his dominance, and claim her as his mate.

No matter how desperately her body aches for the sun-kissed stranger and his completely lickable abs, Roseâtre is no man’s prize. Yet she finds herself hungering for Anthony to defeat her and take her for his own.

If you’re an Amazon princess whose clan is in a long lasting war with the were-tigers then the last thing you want is to have to work with one. This tension provides a good starting point to the novel and the plot continues to build to a very spicy scene.

Dialogue between the main characters Roseâtre and Anthony is quick and shows the character of both. These are not flat characters. They have aims, pasts, and a future that they will work out together.

In the process, the reader is brought along for the backs and forths of their sexual dance and its playful mirror in the show they perform. They want each other and yet they cannot have each other. There are drawbacks to their union and hidden benefits. They can help each other but will they?

This is the balanced conundrum which keeps me reading and intrigues me. In many romances this dance can seem contrived but this has the right back story for the dance to seem legitimate and even necessary, more so when the conclusion is considered.

The novel reaches its climax in the jungle environment of Anthony’s apartment. The exotic flavour the tigers and jungle foliage brings heightens the instinctive connection between the characters and gives the sexual tension a base and natural character, like their connection is meant to be.

Implicated scents and feels of earth, trees and animals also has the subtle effect of making a sexual union a natural conclusion to this meeting; it is an extension of the immediate sensory luxury of the jungle – the feel of soil under feet, bark under palm. The sex is heated and passionate but never cliché. It got me wishing for an exotic holiday and a man to match, even as the book placed me in the room with the lovers.

Heather Long did not put me in the person of Roseâtre as our personalities are too different but she did succeed in creating a story which captures the imagination and the senses. I felt the heat of the romance, smelt the fresh, trodden earth, felt the slow burn of the sun, and wanted some for myself, which can only result in a “well done” from me.

One definition of noir is “no happy endings.” In this short story collection by award-winning author, Warren Bull, don’t expect any last-minute reprieves – it isn’t going to happen. Dark desires spiral inexorably down toward disaster. Bad choices lead to dangerous consequences, and a sucker never gets an even break.

A clergyman chosen to speak on behalf of the dead is accused of murder. An author trying to make a name for herself attracts the attention of a stalker. A police detective investigating a series of seemingly unrelated murders finds an appalling and very personal link between the crimes.

How fast can karma run? Is blind justice always a good thing?

This collection is best summed up by this quote from it: “You never actually complete a story. You just stop writing.” What intrigued me the most about these stories is how many twists and turns are packed into each one and how much I wished I could read more about certain characters.
Regular intake of the drug as per the Going Here generico cialis on line prescribed dosage may vary in all cases as the body resistance and immune system requires fighting against infections. How to increase penile strength is by consuming healthy diet like eggs, fish, almonds, crabs, oysters, pumpkin seeds and wheat germ in tadalafil lowest price your daily diet. In fact, many viagra in stores of these tablets are becoming more well-known because they are entirely organic.
Mr. Bull’s writing shines in sharp, unforgettable tales like Killer Eulogy and The Note. No sooner did I think I had everything figured out than the author casually dropped exposition into the narrative that completely dismantled my theories about what was actually happening. It’s difficult to discuss their plots without spoiling them, but Killer Eulogy is about a jealous reverend who suspects that one of the other pastors in her community is killing his parishioners. “The Note” is about a simple pickpocketing scheme that has unexpected consequences for the narrator. I’d highly recommend skipping ahead to read these stories first in order to see what Mr. Bull is like at his best.

On the Edge and Salvage were more difficult for me to understand. Their premises were intriguing, but the unexpected jokes in the former made it seem a little out of place in such a dark anthology. An influx of extraneous characters in the latter made it difficult for me to keep everyone straight, especially when new people were introduced right before the climax.

The rest of the stories in this collection more than make up for the two that didn’t particularly speak to me, though. Mr. Bull is a master at introducing the reader to a wholly ordinary series of events, allowing the plot to pick up momentum, and then casually revealing what is actually going on. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

Killer Eulogy and Other Stories is full of surprises. This is a good choice for readers who like mysteries that can’t be easily unravelled. I read this genre regularly and yet was still surprised by several of the tales in this collection.

And she thought high school was hard.

There is nothing more tempting than a well written story that remains with you even after you read the last line. That is what Until We Meet Again was for me. From beginning until end the author captured my attention and held it, leaving me eagerly anticipating the next installment.

Eden is far from your typical teen girl. She has to deal with two absent parents, even though they all live under the same roof. Her mother is too concerned with her own selfish needs, and her father will do whatever it takes to avoid having to deal with his home life. My heart immediately when out to Eden because she was forced to not only take care of herself at a young age, but also felt she needed to take care of her parents one way or another. In the end, her parents recklessness and selfish behavior leads to tragedy.

Wow, this story took me on an amazing, emotion filled ride. I was stunned as to how quickly the story ended once I began. While the story is targeted towards young adults, I would certainly recommend this to other age groups because there is a lot that will appeal to them and it is truly entertaining. I found the story even challenging some of my beliefs of the afterlife because the author wrote such a convincing story. I sometimes find it difficult to find stories that both myself and my child would enjoy. Until We Meet Again certainly fits the bill, that is why I can honestly and happily give this story the highest rating possible.

There is something quietly unnerving about Dr. Childers’ ability to control his circulatory system to such a precise degree. While he’s the kind of doctor I would have wanted to operate on me if I lived a hundred years ago, his bedside manner leaves much to be desired. There is an eerie coolness to his personality that makes otherwise benign conversations in this tale send a flood of goosebumps up my arm.

The ending was chilling but abrupt. I would have preferred to see the final scene expanded in order to explain what was happening in more detail. The consequences of a decision Dr. Childers makes are far more interesting than the events leading up to this choice, and had more attention been given to what happens in the last few moments of this piece it would have earned a much higher rating from this reviewer.

With that being said, this is one of the creepiest stories I’ve read this year. I read it in a well-lit room in the middle of the day, but the final scene still haunted my thoughts as I drifted to sleep that night. Good horror isn’t about frightening the reader as he or she is immersed in the story so much as it is about spooking them hours or days later as they remember what they just read. The Perfect Curiosity knows just how to do this, and for that reason alone it is well-worth picking up.

The horror and science fiction elements of The Perfect Curiosity blend so well together that this story will appeal equally to fans of either genre. I highly recommend it to anyone who is well-read in one of these genres and is curious to explore the other one. This tale is a good stepping stone in either direction.
