When Murad, a powerful and deadly Warlord, arrives to repair Gale’s beloved ship, she doesn’t like it one bit. She sees the danger lurking behind his wide, sexy smile and the temptation in his coarse touch. He stands too close. He smells too good. He muddles her mind with erotic thoughts no bounty hunter should ever entertain.

Murad is known for being lighthearted…until he meets Gale. He’s deadly serious about seducing the curvaceous bounty hunter. With one blast of her stun gun, she captures his attention and starts his lust burning. To claim Gale for his mate, Murad will brave his cautious female’s itchy trigger finger, his overbearing older brother and even his own sense of duty.

Gale loves her ship, so she doesn’t want Murad, a very large male Warlord on board her precious ship in her space but she needs his help so he boards anyways. The love story that follows moves at light speed yet somehow it really works.

Gale is a bounty hunter, so she is a total kickass heroine, but her past gives her some major insecurities that Murad has to get past in order to get her to fall in love with him. I enjoyed watching their courtship and the scenes between these two were volcanic.

Murad is a warrior and Gale is his mate so he stops at nothing to claim her. This gives him a level of determination that suits him perfectly. There were some aspects of things happening in the background that I found confusing but as this is the second in a series, those things may have been explained in the first. Even with the slight confusion, this book was still enjoyable without having read the first.

I look forward to reading more stories with these fascinating warlords, and recommend this story to fans of space romances with big strong men and heroines that can bring them to their knees.
