Her best revenge is to say “I do”.

By night Ellie Vyne fleeces unsuspecting aristocrats as the dashing Count de Bonneville. By day she avoids her sisters’ matchmaking attempts and dreams up inventive insults to hurl at her childhood nemesis, the arrogant, far-too-handsome-for-his-own-good, James Hartley.

James finally has a lead on the villainous, thieving Count, tracking him to a shady inn. He bursts in on none other than “that Vyne woman”…in a shocking state of dishabille. Convinced she is the Count’s mistress, James decides it’s best to keep your enemies close. Very close. In fact, seducing Ellie will be the perfect bait…

Review: What a naughty tangled weave this story has! And when the hero loses his memory it’s positively hilarious! The Wicked Wedding of Miss Ellie Vyne is a romp on the adventurous side as the lead characters take turns trying to outwit the other with hysterical results.
The medicine is an absolute combination of sildenafil citrate which promotes strong blood flow in the body. india cheap cialis It viagra online for women is the most common sexual condition in young as well as in older male personalities. Ms. Fresina has created an amazing array of fascinating and lively characters that tickle the funny bone. The hero, James, is a man slow on the uptake as to what Ellie, the heroine, is really up to. Once he figures it out, the game is afoot and his pursuit of Ellie turns quite serious indeed.

Ellie, on the other hand, thinks she’s clever at outwitting everyone, especially the males of the ton. Her character is fun, irreverent, imaginative, and spunky and has a very long memory of past slights. Her motivation is a bit suspect as I don’t think she ever fell out of love with the handsome James. The drama and suspense comes from the heroine finding out that her clever ploy and secret life wasn’t so clever or secret after all. In fact, what came to light was so totally unexpected and astonishing, I was left gaping like a fish.

Thank goodness James wasn’t a shallow or unforgiving man. He had a huge decision to make – does he stand by Ellie or let the revelation ruin both their futures. I’m glad to say that James made an excellent hero, faults, silly nicknames and all.

What I liked the most was watching James and Ellie discover each other as they learned what made them the people they were. The hottest part was when they embarked on the physical exploration of their budding love. It was at times tender, sometimes bordering on silly and ended up being some of the most adventurous moments in the book. The sensuous nature of their courtship was fully explored but whenever I got to the part where James said, “Are you ready for your first servicing?” I just about melted on the spot. What came after that sentence made me blush and grin at the same time. Those scenes were well written, delightful and entertaining. Ms. Fresina has a great imagination and it shows with the full-bodied writing found within this novel’s pages.

Wait until readers get their first introduction to Lady Mercy. I think she’s a book in the making. Then there are secondary characters like Mrs. Flick that certainly stirred the conflict but no one comes close to making the conflict explode like James’ grandmother. What a harridan! But nothing can top the emotional plot twist of the surprise he had for the old woman. If she thought that his intention of marrying Ellie was bad, his secret was even more profound.

Gratefully, all the conflict threads are tied together in one big sparkly naughty bow and Ms. Fresina provided a happy ever after like no other. It was just as scandalous, daring and bold as their entire courtship was. If a reader is looking for a sexy courtship, a saucy heroine being courted by a very determined hero hampered by so many mix-ups, cross purposes and a bit of daring do rescues, look no further than this well written and completely entertaining novel called The Wicked Wedding of Miss Ellie Vyne. It’s romance with cheek and I loved every page of it.

In a near-future world where the car is king and the people are divided between those who ride on a network of highways connecting the glittering hubs of the city, and those left on foot — the lowly “Peds” — who inhabit the lands that lie between them, Robert Balkoner has always believed these latter, even if disadvantaged, are well cared for by the city as a whole. These beliefs are shattered, however, when a freak auto accident thrusts him among the Peds, and he discovers a system more varied, complex, and sometimes horrific, than anything he might have imagined. Yet even here Balkoner also can find love, as well as a handful of rebels willing to barter their lives in a quest to improve conditions for themselves and their fellows.

A short but intriguing story that will leave you thinking.

Peds by James S. Dorr is set in a Science Fiction society where the social classes are divided into two parts. Those who drive cars, and those who don’t, and the ability to descend down this ladder is treacherously simple. The main character, nicknamed Rob, seems like a standup guy from the beginning. His personality is easy to find agreeable and it’s this kind of person we would want the least harm to come to. In a poor stroke of luck and a violent clash of Rider vs. Peds Rob is thrust into a society unfamiliar to him, and it is his goal to make it back.

James S. Dorr blends Rob into a world that on one page seems so foreign and on another seems all too real. Rob quickly becomes friends with characters who have their distinct personalities, one kind and caring and the other fierce and daring. Through these friends Rob will form a plan to get back to his former life.

The story isn’t bound to the major characters which is what I enjoyed the most about this novel. It finds its real story in the conflict that can only be inferred by the different people and their individual stories no matter how short for the reader. Economic struggles and the constant theme of “what’s mine is mine” reveals a side of society we are only too eager to turn a blind eye to. Once we settle in and get comfortable in the least bit, Dorr reminds us that there needs to be a change, and things can’t always be “winner vs. loser.” This hope for change will leave you rooting for the Peds, not just Rob, until the very end.

If you are looking for a short but enjoyable story that leaves you with something to think about, you will surely enjoy Peds as much as I did.

Snow leopard shifter Isaiah Trujillo isn’t a doctor like his brother Tim, but he’s a good guy and when he meets Bae Allen Warren, he knows he’s found the one man to make his life complete.Snow leopard shifter Isaiah Trujillo wasn’t the brightest guy. His brother was a doctor with more letters after his name than in it, and Isaiah was just a mechanic. But, he strived to be a good person, and that included accepting the offer to volunteer at a GLBTQ youth centre.

He’s nervous as hell, but Isaiah’s determined to do what he can to help.

Bae Allen Warren is a veterinarian with a mobile practice. It allows him more freedom than having an actual building he had to work out of. He had more baggage than any man should, thanks to his messed up shifter family. His lepe, or clan, was a source of constant stress and guilt. But the leader, his grandfather, makes demands on Bae he can’t ever fulfil for moral and other reasons.

When Bae and Isaiah meet, it’s instant attraction. They know they’re mates, but there’s so many obstacles in their way, not the least of which are the stalkers who seem determined to kidnap Bae.

The term pheromone was coined by two hormone researchers, viagra buy Karlson and Luscher who created the word which has Greek origins, pherein, meaning to bring or transfer; and hormon, meaning to excite. Improper diet, eating too much spicy products and excessive drinking can get cialis be the reason for stress, anxiety and clinical depression even at times of sobriety. Many men suffering from erectile viagra pfizer online dysfunction and having lost all hopes are now happily enjoying their sexual life back on the track. Isaiah questioned how he even let Cliff talk him into volunteering, let alone teaching a class. That was until he saw Bae and he knew destiny had brought him to his true mate.

Isaiah may not see himself as the brightest man, but he sure has a way with his hands, especially when they are all over Bae’s body. I absolutely adored Isaiah. His strong and subtle power really drew me to him and allowed him to worm his way into my heart.  I could tell he had one of those personalities that made everyone look his way when he entered a room. It was no shock when Bae quickly fell for the gentle giant. The only thing that sometimes frustrated me was Isaiah’s inability to see himself the way others did. He was by far one of the most intelligent men on the story and I was happy to see that Bae quickly picked up in this and tried to make Isaiah seem himself the way others saw him.

Bae has all of the qualifications I would expect from someone who lived under the thumb of a controlling ruler with no common sense or empathy towards others. It made him a bit distrustful of people, which was clear to me. The author put small things into the story to show just how little freedom he seemed to have over his own life as a youth. I knew with Isaiah by his side he would be able to see just how much control he not only had over his own life, but maybe even a little over those around him and their view on the world.

One thing that left me feeling a bit empty was that I didn’t get to see the characters in their leopard forms as much as I would have liked. I am a sucker for a shifter, and absolutely love seeing the world from a shifter’s view. I would have liked to have seen Isaiah and Bae’s kitties come out and play a bit more and really influence their relationship development as well as their personal development. It would have been nice to see their animalistic side trying to protect its mate as well.

The conflict within the story added excitement as well as a air of mystery. Just when you think you know something, the author would spin you around to discover maybe you aren’t so right. She even allowed me to see that what may seem like a bad person, maybe just someone just as lost and misguided as their victims. Anytime I find myself sympathizing with not only the heroes but also the people acting as obstacles of their love I am automatically intrigued.

While this was the first story I have read within this series I can easily see how it can capture an audience and keep them coming back from more.

Shy, overweight Melinda Rhodes’ sophomore year of high school isn’t going so well. Her mother mocks her weight. She spends her weekends holed up in her room making what her friend calls “Freaky eyeball paintings.” Her pants split in the middle of school, earning her the nickname, “Moolinda.” She then loses first chair flute in band to Kathy Meadows, the pretty and popular mean girl who’s tormented Mel for years.

Her luck changes when she catches the eye of sexy hottie Josh Kowalski, a rebellious trumpet prodigy and class clown. Josh has also been hurt by Kathy and asks Melinda to help take Kathy down. However, as their schemes become more involved and dangerous, Mel begins to question her loyalty to Josh — and is surprised to find how dark her dark side really is. Revenge of a Band Geek Gone Bad reminds me a lot of the movie, Mean Girls. Think about it: high school snobs being mean and rude to those they think are below them. Then said picked-on girl comes back and plots and plots against them until they can’t see what’s right or wrong any longer. Meanwhile, there’s lots of underlying issues that are also working to be resolved. I loved Mean Girls, and I also enjoyed Revenge of a Band Geek Gone Bad.

Fifteen year old Melinda is the star of this book. She’s kind of a nobody, gets picked on, but is smart, good at what she does, and has a passion for music and art. If only the snobs would just leave her alone for awhile! Melinda’s family has their own issues, which is what causes some of Melinda’s problems. I can easily relate to Melinda. I’m glad that throughout this story, she really learns and grows as a character, and though a time too many she gets caught up in the glory of getting back at the girls, she comes to her senses and does the right thing. She also get a chance at being a great guy’s girlfriend.

Josh is the hero of the book. This guy who appears as if he’s just a jokester and doesn’t take school seriously needs to be given a second look. There’s so much more to Josh than he lets on. He’s one of those boys that has to allow someone to get really close to him before he shows his true form. He’s taken a liking to Melinda, and finds a way to get to know her. Josh is also a character who has plenty of growth, and much of it is thanks to Melinda.

I liked the plot of this story. It focuses on Melinda, on Josh, on high school life, and on family drama. The one pitfall I found was that the story in many points lacked a good editor. When I read the story on my e-reader device, I found many sentences out of place and totally jarred me out of the book. While frustrating, I wanted to finish the story because I really became invested in Melinda and Josh, and just had to see where things were going.

The author takes on some real life every day issues in the book. Though some didn’t have as much development, they were well done and made this book very realistic. So many things that happen, I can see happening in real life, some of those aren’t very good things, but regardless, they are a part of this world.

Overall, I enjoyed the story! I laughed, I wanted to cry, I wanted to yell and scream, but most of all, I wanted Josh and Melinda to come together not just over a plan of revenge, but for the sake of enjoying the other’s company.

While is has a few swear words, I think anyone of the age 14 and over can enjoy this story. I’m a full grown adult and couldn’t put it down. It’s a plot very well done!

If you’re a fan of contemporary YA with a bit of romance, I suggest Revenge of A Band Geek Gone Bad.

The shocking news comes right before Christmas—Patience Mayhew’s beloved brother Jack was lost in the Battle of Nivelle. Since his son is but a toddler, Jack left his estate in trust to his best friend Stuart—the man who, years ago, broke Patience’s heart.

Stuart Marsh is just as shocked as Patience at Jack’s bequest. How can he possibly run Heatherfield when Jack’s widow resents him and sister detests him? But as he settles in and sees how much work Heatherfield needs, he realizes it’s his chance to prove himself to Patience all over again. He wants nothing more than to lift the burden from her shoulders and prove that Christmas miracles exist—and that love, real love, never truly fades away.

In Christmas Bequest, Ms. Miller offers laughter and tears, despair and hope, anger and joy and a burgeoning love in the middle of grief. In other words, the author offers up everything and still manages not to leave this reader feeling overwhelmed.

These are some of the vital things that female viagra australia should be consumed in your mouth before swallowing. The story of Patience’s added burdens due to the loss of her brother, her mother’s inability to curb her expenses and her sister-in-law’s apparent indifference is skilfully crafted. In such a short story Miss Miller has created depth of character, intrigue and misdirection. They are irritating family members in abundance and the hero’s ability to turn a potentially explosive situation are all interwoven with balance and perception.

I soon become clear there are plenty of family conflicts, both above and below the surface of this grieving family, and yet there is so much more. Ms. Miller takes each member of her cast and changes them completely by the time the reader turns the final page.

The only character that did not seem to fit the disposition preset for him was Lucinda’s brother. He did not live up to the reputation prescribed to him, which slightly confused me.

This story is set in the few days before and after Christmas and deals with the way each member of the family deal with the revelations that are exposed. Not only does each character change significantly, but Ms. Miller offers plausible reason for how these changes take place and why. To manage this in less than sixty pages take skill, and Ms. Miller appears to do it with ease, which of course is all part of her skilful writing abilities.

This is first Miller book I’ve read, but I’ll but looking out for more in the future.

When psychic Laura Dearborn inherits Stonecross Hall in 1926, she has no idea she’s inheriting a love story too-one that she’s lived again and again. But as Alaric Storm III, the handsome owner of the mansion from sixty years earlier, starts to haunt her waking dreams, Laura discovers her heart’s true home has always been within Stonecross’s walls.

Tormented by memories of war, Alaric Storm III is used to spirits-just not ones from the future. Set on fire by Laura’s ghostly affections, Alaric is forced to choose: follow his heart and grasp Laura’s hand through time, or surrender to the call of duty and live without love.

As All Hallows’ Eve draws near, Alaric and Laura must find a way to hold on to each other forever-or risk repeating their tragic romance until the end of time.

I love the idea of going back in time to find your one true love. Isn’t that a common theme in time-travel romances? I was thrown off a bit by the fact that this started off post WWII, not modern day, as I was expecting. That was an obstacle of my own making, and had nothing to do with the story itself, but did confuse me as I was trying to start reading!

What made it even more difficult to want to finish reading was the style in which the first portion of the book was written. It was a narrative–style and didn’t inlcude much dialogue. I found this intensely difficult to read and even more so, repetitive, trite, and a bit preachy. The only thing that kept me reading was the desire to see if anything changed once Laura and Alaric met.

Happily, that was the key! Once the hero and heroine met, there were more opportunities for dialogue, and the story became much easier to read, and the “flow” much better.

There are multiple sexual encounters between them. There is no reserved, coquettish play. In fact, it reads much as modern encounters might. That leads one to forget that the entire interaction at the house takes place over the span of mere days.

The switching between time periods is not a confusing as it could be. It is always nice when a reader is able to say for certain where and when their hero and heroine are existing!

I did find myself fixating on some of the issues surrounding time travel and what the resolution to the story would be. I will state now, that my thoughts were completely incorrect and each possibility was systematically eliminated as I continued to read. Having said that – I was not entirely satisfied by the ending as presented. It was a neat and tidy way to finish the story without too many “time issues”, and I applaud the author for her creativity in this respect. However, I found I was left wanting more.

It may sound as if I disliked the book. This is absolutely not this case. I still feel this is an interesting and intriguing story and am happy that it was told. The characters (once they find each other) blossom and are interesting and worthy of the dialogue bestowed upon them. The secondary characters have some lovely quirks that make them the “spice” in the story.

If you are a time-travel fan, get a hold of a copy. You will enjoy enjoy the relationship that occurs and hopefully be surprised by the ending, too!

There are many good things to like about The Silver Sphere. The author wastes no time in jumping right into the action–from the first line of “Your world will be over soon, won’t it, dear Bianca?” to the last line that hints at another volume in the series to come–the book doesn’t slow down. The chapters are short (averaging around 3 pages per chapter) and the action is frequently breath-taking.

The book has multiple POV characters, but–as each chapter features one–it’s not difficult to keep up with them. The one drawback to this story is the fact that not all of the characters are seen as much as they should have been. Hopes are, since this is the first book of the series, later books will be able to feature more of these characters.

Recommended for fans of the fantasy genre teens and up! I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.

They’re both about to learn that in the game of love, it’s all about breaking the rules.

Jeremy has never been one for breaking the rules, then again he has never had anything like Madison to tempt him to break them. With a little persistence and some creativity Madison knows she can get Jeremy to let go of some of that control he holds on to so tightly and take a chance on breaking the rules.

Jeremy is as honorable and controlled as they come. It is what helped to make him a good marine; one that his father can be proud of. His loyalty to his family legacy has driven him to great distances in his life, even at the expense of his own happiness. I couldn’t help but feel sorry for Jeremy because of the way his father seemed to brainwash him into believing he did Jeremy a favor in raising him. At times I felt so passionate about Jeremy’s position that I wish I could reach through the book and shake him so he could realize that he needed to live his life for himself and not for what his best friend and father may think. It is what also made me feel emotionally attached to the storyline and want to read the story to see if Jeremy ever truly found his happiness.

Madison is a girl after my own heart. Yes, she was responsible, caring, helpful and all the things that people want her to be. She also has a fun and exciting side of her that makes her appreciate life in a way that many cannot. It is what also allows her to push for what she wants out of life, and right now what she wants is Jeremy. She just needs to try and help in get out of his own way realize that no matter the odds they can make their relationship work as long as they are willing to fight for it.

Not only were the main characters in this story intriguing, but it featured some interesting supporting characters as well. Tim is a character that really stuck out to me, that I wanted to learn more about. I could tell he had a passion for life I would find refreshing and entertaining. Tim is another character I enjoyed getting to know. Especially when he discovered his best friend was sleeping with his sister. I couldn’t help but smile as I seen the scene play out in front of my eyes.

The relationship development within this story was consistent. At times I wish I could have given it a little bit of nudge because it seemed too steady. That is one of the reasons I found the supporting characters so important, because they really helped to push the story line along in a way that the main characters couldn’t.

I will say that this character driven story piqued my interest enough for me to want to read additional stories in the series, especially if they help the other characters to find love.

The title drew me to this story and it had a little of everything: humor, adventure and mystery. I thought it would be a sort of whodunit but it turned into quite the adventure for the characters, and it all starts with the need for pecans for a pie.

The setting was very exotic and I think the author did a great job describing both the boat the characters were on and the town where the adventure takes place. And I felt like I was thrown into the action.

When Linda, a paralegal from her work, is seriously wounded from a black bear shifter it’s up to Kate and Jack and their friends to help piece together what’s going on in their small town and make things safe again.

The author has created a vivid world filled with an interesting hodge-podge of assorted characters. While it took me a bit of time to get everyone sorted out in my mind, this is a vibrant book filled with all kinds of wonders, politics and adventures waiting to happen. The pace of the book is fast, events occurring one after the other so the reader feels a little like they’re on a roller coaster racing from one scene to the next, but there’s so many people and events it’s always exciting. Also, while there is plenty of sexual tension and teasing, the love scenes are not explicit or graphic.

I enjoyed how the author took the whole shape-shifter storyline out of the box (this is the first were-bear book for me) and made a wonderful niche in the paranormal genre for herself. Readers looking for something different will really enjoy this.
