After a life threatening accident, secrets from Levi’s past emerge threatening to undo the life they’ve built.

This story is told in a sensitive, thoughtful way that gives realism to the motives and the feelings of all the characters, even the father. I never once thought this untraditional relationship was outside of the realm of reality for these people, so well were their individual and cohesive stories painted. All elements of such a partnership were given consideration, including the pitfalls.

This is no casual tale for light entertainment. Even the erotic elements were realistically amazing. Rather, I found it to be a story with impressive significance that encouraged me to challenge my beliefs in the limits of conventional love. No party playing in this story, but realistic people in unusual circumstances that made me believe in them and in their possibilities.

Ms. Petrova has outdone herself with this conscientious love story. There are three sizzling flames that follow the reader into ever hotter and deeper territory. The telling was eloquent and compassionate. The characterization was true and compelling. I’m so happy to recommend, Blown Down and look forward to more of Ms. Petrova’s quality storytelling…it’s so much more than passing the time, it’s adventure for the mind.

Possessed by the demon of Defeat, Strider cannot lose a challenge without suffering unimaginable pain. For him, nothing stands in the way of victory. Until Kaia, an enchanting Harpy, tempts him to the razor’s edge of surrender.

Known among her people as The Disappointment, Kaia must bring home the gold in the Harpy Games or die. Strider is a distraction she can’t afford because he has an agenda of his own—steal first prize, an ancient godly artifact, before the winner can be named. But as the competition heats up, only one prize will matter—the love neither had thought possible.…

The annual Harpy Games were overrun with more than troublesome harpies. Demons, Greek gods, and angels add to a thrilling adventure that kept me glued to my seat.

Strider’s witty personality is only one of many reasons I anticipated the release of his story. His sense of humor amused me in previous books so I knew he would provide some serious comic relief as a hero. Even when he was staring into the eyes of his enemies, his personality never lost its quirkiness. As the keeper of the demon Defeat, Strider cannot lose a challenge no matter how trivial or seemingly unobtainable. Which is why Kaia, harpy sister to Bianka and Gwen, purposefully challenges him every chance she gets. It’s obvious that he needs someone to keep him on his toes. Kaia is certainly the most entertaining choice for a mate. Kaia as a heroine touched my heart and made me fall in love with her right along with Strider.

For all of her cockiness, Kaia is actually extremely vulnerable. Who knew? It was interesting to see a seemingly strong female role have a softer side. She was labeled a disappointment by her harpy kin due to a mistake she made when she was younger. It’s one of the reasons why Strider’s approval is so important to her. Kaia is determined to earn his respect. With two such strong willed individuals I knew sparks would fly. The dialogue was really clever so the conversations between these two were never dull.

The relationship between Strider and Kaia is one that will stick in my mind for a while. So much so I can see myself reading this story a few more times. They are both known for their wit and sense of humor so it is only fitting that their banter is the best I have ever had the privilege of reading. While they intentionally push each others buttons they do not accept anyone else challenging their mate.

The harpy games added an extra level of excitement to this story. It was the perfect time for some favorite characters from previous books to make an appearance. Readers are also treated to a show of why the harpies are so feared by all including the lords and other demons. Ms. Showalter does an incredible job of painting the harpies as fearless, cunning warriors. It’s not often you see such strong females portrayed in stories and it’s one of the reasons I was immediately drawn to the harpies.

With a wide array of loveable and entertaining characters, this series has always been one of my favorites. This story has made it in the list of most likely to re-read. If you like an epic novel that includes Greek mythology, demons, angels, mythical creatures, a great love story, alpha males, strong females, and much more you won’t want to missThe Darkest Surrender.

Librarian Cambrie Brasher has been given an ultimatum—win the grant for the library or lose her job. To accomplish the task, Cambrie needs a man. Not just any man, a military man willing to be her pen pal. Thanks to an old friend, Cambrie connects with Miller Daly, a sexy Navy SEAL who ignites her sensual side and promises to make her hottest dreams a reality.

Lieutenant Miller Daly has been haunted by dreams of a woman he’s never met. Thanks to the machinations of his former commander, he’s saddled with some frumpy librarian who wants to be his cyber pal. What he really needs is a cyber siren TO take his mind OFF his mission and give him the opportunity to play out some of his most erotic fantasies.

Cambrie is no frump and she shares Miller’s interest in a hot affair. Unfortunately, he’s always in another corner of the world and Cambrie is devoted to the frail aunt who raised her. They must steal every steamy moment together, but how long can the fires of their passion sustain them?

I enjoy romance fantasies about librarians; they are usually full of surprises and often toy with the stereotypes. Operation: Tempt Me didn’t disappoint.

Cambrie is an all around good woman. She lost her parents when she was young, was raised by an aunt and now she’s doing the responsible adult thing by caring for the woman while her health is precarious and is stuck in a nursing home. The heroine has a job but it’s in jeopardy. All good plot conflicts that grab a reader’s heart strings and strums them to perfection. She also has a wonderful sense of humor, sense of justice and a good heart. Sounds very vanilla, doesn’t it? Not for long.

Enter Miller, the hero — a strong man doing dangerous things while serving our country as a Navy SEAL. Right there is a reason to snare my attention. That he has been dreaming of his perfect woman but hadn’t any hopes of finding her any time soon rang the romance bells in my head. He was going to find more than he imagined and everything he hoped for, but better. The plot thickens.

How does a vanilla woman entice a red hot alpha hero? By tapping into the vixen inside and letting her out to play. And that is the one thing that Ms. James delivers exceptionally well. The steady erosion of the family institution in recent times is Kamagra. online order viagra deeprootsmag.org discount viagra usa Bile also works as the trigger of the condition. Every kinky, naughty, deliciously experimental bed scene was well done with some interesting dialogue sprinkled in to showcase the forward movement of their relationship. For readers that really get into the erotic side of erotic romance this book should be a winner. From the toys, to the computer, from the actual meeting and the various ways the hero takes the heroine, it’s all well done and initially, exciting.

After awhile, the spanking, the verbiage, every time they’re together, they jump on each other — it’s not a bad thing, but I got bored. At first I skimmed, and then I just plain skipped those scenes to get to where real story telling took place. Yes, there were moments where their eyes met and words were exchanged that do indicate that they were falling in love and it was beautiful, as a romance should be. But it was just too overdone and became repetitive. There’s only so many ways to say the big “O” is coming and I’d swear every one was used.

The ones that stand out are the earlier scenes where Miller discovers how unique and special Cambie is. She lets him explore and allows him ‘to boldly go where no man has gone before’. His reaction was as yummy as this reader could have wished. I enjoyed the heroine’s blushes, the hero’s growls and the emotional tug of war that came from both of them realizing that where they both are in life makes the success of their relationship almost impossible.

Ms. James has an uncanny knack for writing emotion. When it came to important matters of the heart, of dealing with family and friends, the dialogue was a winner. There was no doubt in my mind just how much Cambrie was respected, how much she loved her aunt, how determined she was to make a difference in one young boy’s life or how she deeply she felt about things important to her, because it was all there in the words.

The ending was crafty, entertaining and quite delicious. I loved the big surprise and how it was orchestrated. I enjoyed how the author described the whole scene and even there, how she injected humor. I laughed at Miller’s fellow soldiers and sighed at the last sentence. This story has a great happily ever after wrap up.

Operation: Tempt Me is a really fun read. It has a lot going for it, characters that are fascinating to read about, internal conflicts that make sense, physical hijinks that could make a person’s cheeks warm and energetic dialogue that kept the story flowing. There is so much to enjoy and certainly this book is guaranteed entertainment. I think readers of erotic romance are going to have a great time when they pick up their own copy of Operation: Tempt Me. I’m glad I read it.

Fifteen-year-old Callie isn’t speaking to anybody, not even to her therapist at Sea Pines, the “residential treatment facility” where her parents and doctor sent her after discovering that she cuts herself. As her story unfolds, Callie reluctantly become involved with the other “guests” at Sea Pines — finding her voice and confronting the trauma that triggered her behavior.

Everything is as good as it can be for teenager Callie until that fateful day when her younger brother, Sam, falls horribly ill. From that moment forward, Callie is thrown into a net of insecurity and doubt culminating in her ultimate breakdown. Finding herself installed at Sea Pines, a psychiatric hospital for teens, mute and alone, she’s forced to face the reality of what is and what isn’t. And the truth about herself.

Callie is a very complex character expressed in a very non-complex manner. Her voice is straightforward and honest, even if she’s not being completely honest on the outside. She comes off as shy and reserved, although she’s also very dedicated to her brother and maintaining his precarious health. She’s older than her fifteen years as she tends to take on more responsibility than is natural. Callie’s also extremely hard on herself, taking blame where none is to be placed. It wasn’t a surprise to me, with all the weight she’s put upon her own shoulders, that she is forced to find a way to cope with the stress and burdens of life. I was surprised that she turns to cutting for her relief. The title of the book aside, you don’t normally find this topic approached in books of any type, let alone ones geared towards young adults. I think that it’s important for parents and teens alike to be aware that things like this do happen and are real.

Callie’s journey from the mute outsider to a girl who is finally coming to grips with her place in the world is both sweet and heartbreaking. Watching her find herself – and her voice – in the midst of a group of girls with a variety of issues all their own is encouraging. It makes you want to believe in a better tomorrow and revel in the idea that everyone deserves a second chance. Cut is a true journey, from insecure and angry to a chance at peace and self-love.

INTERVIEW: PAULA MARTIN

Several medicines have overnight cialis delivery been developed including kamagra tablets to deal with erectile dissatisfaction (ED). Long and Short Reviews is pleased to welcome Paula Martin, whose latest book Fragrance of Violets was released this month by Whiskey Creek Press. I asked her to tell us a little bit about the book.

“Fragrance of Violets is set mainly in the English Lake District, an area I know and love. It’s probably my favourite story so far, because the two main characters learn so much about themselves as they re-establish their relationship.

“Abbey Seton distrusts men, especially Jack Tremayne who destroyed their friendship when they were teenagers. Ten years later, they meet again. Can they put the past behind them? Abbey has to forgive not only Jack, but also her father who deserted his family when she was young. Jack holds himself responsible for his fiancée’s death. He’s also hiding another secret which threatens the fragile resumption of his relationship with Abbey. Will Abbey ever forgive him when she finds out the truth?”

Paula’s first stories (around the age of eight) were based on the books she read—school, pony, and theatre stories.

“Maybe that was fan-fiction before the word was invented!” she quipped.

Soon, she started to create her own characters and wrote several novel-length stories before her early teens, when she moved on to writing romances.

“Okay, those early romances were cheesy, to say the least,” she admitted, “but my friends read them avidly!”

For several years, Paula didn’t do anything writing apart from school essays—she was busy getting her degree, starting her teaching career, getting married, and starting a family. When her first daughter was a few months old, she started writing again as an evening escape from baby-talk, brushing off one of her old teenage stories. Originally, it was just for herself, however she was also reading all the romance novels in her small local library and decided her story was as good as those published, if not better.

“So I typed it up (yes, this was in the 1960’s pre-computer days) and sent it off to Mills and Boon, fully expecting it to come back by return of post. Six weeks later, I had a letter signed by Alan Boon himself,” she told me. “He wasn’t happy about a couple of chapters, but if I was prepared to revise them, based on his suggestions, they would be interested in publishing my book. If I was prepared to revise? Of course I was! I did the revisions, typed the whole thing out again, and sent it off. A contract for the book, and for two more, arrived about three weeks later, and the book came out six months later, coinciding with the birth of my second daughter. I duly produced two more books for M&B in the next eighteen months, but when I returned to full-time teaching, I had less time for writing. About eight years later, I sent my fourth book to a different publisher as Mills and Boon had changed their ‘format’ completely during the 70’s and I knew my book wouldn’t suit their requirements.”

Apart from some short storied published in various magazines, Paula took a break from writing fiction—instead focusing on her teaching career, her daughters, and her involvement with Girl Guiding and the local amateur musical theatre group. She didn’t stop writing completely, however, writing several articles with ideas for leading that were published in the Girl Guide national magazine—even having a monthly feature there for several years.

“I didn’t think I would ever write fiction again but, at first to my surprise, came back to it about four years ago, firstly with fan-fiction based on my favourite TV show The West Wing and then with novels again.”

I asked Paula when she first considered herself a writer.

“I’ve always been a writer! It comes as naturally to me as breathing. In my teens, as well as writing stories, I kept a diary for several years. Even a ‘page a day’ diary didn’t give me enough space to write, not just the events of the day, but my thoughts and feelings about anything and everything, so I ended up using large files. I also used to write lengthy epistles to friends and penfriends. In that sense, I’ve always considered myself to be a writer,” she explained. “Thinking of myself as an ‘author’ is slightly different. Even though I had four books published when I was in my twenties, I didn’t really think of myself as an author. In my mind, I was simply a story-writer who ‘hit lucky’ in the world of publishing. Nearly forty years later, with two more books accepted, I’m finally getting around to thinking of myself as an author. But even if I never had anything else accepted, I would still be a writer.”

When Paula was growing up, she always wanted to be a teacher—from the time she first went to school as a five year old.

“When I played games with my 4 year old cousin, I was the teacher and he was the pupil. I taught him to say ‘Present’ when I called out his name from my invented class register. But then he ran crying to his mom, saying ‘I said present but I didn’t get one!’,” she remembered. “I eventually became a history teacher, for 25+ years, until I took early retirement. Looking back now, I enjoyed my job despite some of the frustrations. Some classes I loved, others drove me to distraction.”

Paula’s favorite author is historical novelist, Sharon Kay Penman.

“I’ve read almost all her books but my favourite is The Sunne in Splendor which, to me, is THE definitive novel about Richard III and the Wars of the Roses,” Paula told me. “As an historian by profession, I can appreciate how detailed and meticulous Sharon’s research has been. She also brings vividly to life all the characters of that period of history. I was a history teacher for many years, and people often asked me why I don’t write historical novels. My answer is always ‘Because I know I could never do is as superbly well as Sharon Penman has done.’ I simply wouldn’t have the self-discipline (or the patience!) to do all the detailed research.”

In Paula’s own writing, usually her characters come to her, along with a very basic scenario and one or more potential conflicts (internal or external) between the hero and heroine.

“I tend to know the beginning and the end, but quite often the characters take over,” she confessed. “Occasionally I have to haul them back but most times I’m happy to let them lead me. Some of the best scenes in my books have been those where the characters have surprised me. As a result, my planned ending often changes in order to reflect what has happened earlier in the story (which I didn’t know about when I first started writing the story!). “

She has learned in her writing that the characters have a way of surprising you. Either things will “happen” she’d not foreseen or the characters would keep something hidden from her.

“This happened to me in my very first novel,” she said. “I decided that I needed a ‘happy ending’ for one of the secondary characters as well as for my hero and heroine, so I thought maybe he had met someone when he was at a conference in New York. I went back to drop a few ‘hints’ about this – but found I didn’t need to. The hints were already there, I didn’t have to change anything. An example of a character knowing something before I did. It’s happened several times since then and I love that moment when you realise your characters have taken charge and ‘done their own thing’. “

“How do you come up with the titles to your books?” I asked.

“My first four published books were based on quotations. I could usually think of a couple of keywords for my books and spent a long time searching for a quotation which would give me the perfect title. For example, one of my heroines was determined to live on her memories and thought she would never love again so ‘O Memory, thou fond deceiver’ gave me the title Fond Deceiver. One of my heroes was fighting his attraction to the heroine (for various reasons), and my title Against the Stream came from Tennyson’s ‘I fought against the stream and all in vain.’ More recently, my latest book with Whiskey Creek Press (released this month) has the title Fragrance of Violets. The keyword in this case was forgiveness and this quotation from Mark Twain was perfect: ‘Forgiveness is the fragrance the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it.’ The only exception to my use of quotations was His Leading Lady (released in June, 2011 by Whiskey Creek Press). I decided on this title during the very early days of writing it, and didn’t even try looking for a quotation as it fits the story, with the reader wondering who Kyle’s leading lady is going to be, not just in the show he’s producing but also in his life.”

Paula told me that she’s fortunate—she has a whole room in her house as her writing space. She lives alone and has converted one of the bedrooms into her study.

“A few years ago, I got rid of a mish-mash of cupboards, shelves and old desk, and invested in some modern office furniture so now I have cupboards and drawer unit around three walls, and two floor to ceiling bookshelves on the fourth wall. A corner desk gives me a view out of the window as I work at my computer although it’s not a very interesting view – just the backs of other houses in the neighbourhood.

“I do TRY to keep the area around my computer tidy but I’m afraid it does tend to get somewhat cluttered at times, particularly with post-it note reminders to myself which I stick to the desk. On my walls, I have various pictures and photographs – my daughters and grandsons, a calendar with photos of Ireland (one of my favourite places), and a framed photo of myself with my all-time favourite actor, Martin Sheen, when I met him last year in Los Angeles.”

Oh, the delicious peril of deception…

Lady Marianne Gillingham has no intention of ending her affair with David Dunscombe, Earl Harrington, despite his pending nuptials. She craves his attentions, and he satisfies her deepest yearnings.

Yet, when his fiancée, the sweet, innocent and oh-so-very young Annabelle Frazier, appears on her doorstep to demand the end of the association, Marianne realizes she does not wish to be second in David’s affections. She also cannot resist issuing a warning. The earl will bed his wife with tedious regularity, but never reveal his more unusual desires.

To Marianne’s amusement, her prediction comes true, with a surprising twist. The countess is back with a new demand: repair the problem her prophetic words created. Taking pleasure in imagining the other woman’s fear and horror, Marianne rekindles the affair to demonstrate exactly how to fulfill David’s lascivious desires—while Annabelle secretly watches from the shadows.

She never expected Annabelle to prove so resilient and surprisingly easy—not to mention delicious—to corrupt. Or that the ensuing erotic tangle would be impossible to put right without heartbreak.

I’m not usually a fan of historical erotic romances; however, this one pleased me in many ways.

Lady Annabelle was the opposite of Marianne. She was warm, and passionate, and not afraid to show what she was thinking or feeling. She never hid behind masks. Where Marianne needed to dominate and to cause pain in order to feel pleasure, Annabelle was tender and submissive. As a couple, they were perfect for each other. Their love scenes ranged from sensual to hot, and always left this reader satisfied. Most people say that buying viagra in australia it is really difficult to perform the act of sexual intercourse. Although it was expressed that both women loved the same man, I felt there was also a truly deep emotional connection between the women. At the heart of the novella, this was a love story between two women, and the man was there mainly to supply his manly body parts.

I enjoyed this story very much and didn’t want it to end. It was an emotional read with great character development, a good plot, and amazing sex. The book carried me on a sensual and amazing journey right up to the last chapter. Without giving away the ending I’ll simply say it wasn’t what I expected or desired. After I finished the book, I actually checked out the author’s website and blog just to see if there was any mention of a sequel for “What the Mistress Did”. Sadly, I didn’t find any plans for a second book. I really wish there would be a followup, as I’m dying to know what happens next.

All in all, this book contained out of this world sexiness, two heroines that were both very fun reads, a love story that came alive through the pages, and a rather realistic ending. This unique story was memorable and I recommend it to other historical erotic romance fans.

GUEST BLOG: EDENMARY BLACK

Lovin’ the paranormal
by
Edenmary Black

I curled my feet under my flannel nightgown, mesmerized by the image on the television. The woman was about to walk down a flight of stairs and all she had in her hand was a candle, for heaven’s sake. Anyone could see that she was about to die in some horrible way, yet she just kept on descending, one step at a time, with that dumb candle. I couldn’t tear my eyes away! As she moved downward into the darkness, my dog snuffled at the edge of my nightgown. My mom slipped her hand over mine and shot me an I-don’t-know-what-she’s-thinking look, but the night had folded around our cozy house. We were safe inside. At the last moment, just before the monster grabbed her, a guy leaped out of the darkness to snatch the woman from death’s grip. It was a wonder he didn’t set himself on fire with the candle! Minutes later, I was being hustled off to bed, with a warning to be cooperative come morning or my mother would never let me stay up late on a school night to watch a scary movie with her again.

It happened decades ago, yet, the memory came to mind when I was writing my debut e-novel, Sanctum Angels: Shadow Havens Book 1. I might have written in any genre or sub-genre of romance, but paranormal called me like no other. So, what’s the endless attraction to the beautiful vamps and weres and fallen angels? For me, and maybe you, they’re exotic, like species from another realm that might just exist. And, they’re hot. The power they exude and the knowledge they must certainly have after centuries of living makes them so attractive that mortals are probably jealous. They’ll break your heart, save your soul at the same time and protect you even if you hate them. Well, many of them will, but there is always room for a villain, right? I mean, we need the evil bastard or bitch to round things out. Good thing our supernatural alphas love a challenge.

In the end, they’re like jumping on a roller coaster, knowing you’ll be getting off in a little while, safe and sound, laughing and breathless. Because the vamps and weres we love are safe. They’ll sweep you off your feet, but when the book’s over, your feet come back to the earth, eager for the next wild ride and waiting for the next book. What could be better?

Wait, you might say, don’t these things drink blood and eat people? Don’t they change into wolves? Indeed, they do, but frankly, I’d rather face down a whole bunch of vampires than hear that one of my loved ones is seriously sick. A good friend out of a job? I worry and try to help. A child with a weird fever awake at 3:00am? Yep, sleep’s out of the question, even when the fever cools and the child’s sleeping again.

So, maybe that’s the attraction. What keeps us awake at night isn’t usually what goes bump in the night. It’s about whether our loved ones are okay. I mean, really, really okay in the most important ways. When they’re facing danger, we’ll be shoulder to shoulder with them, even though it may be something we’re utterly powerless against.

Our super-hot supernatural beings seem to exist in a world where there’s a kind of balance between good and evil. The real world? Maybe, not so much. There’s not always a gorgeous guy stepping out of the darkness to save us, without burning the house down, although there’s a little of that woman with the candle in all of us. That’s what keeps us heading back to the bookstore or our favorite e-reader, for more of those oooohhh-baby-baby vamps and weres and daemons or whatever you like best.

I’m very excited about my debut release, Sanctum Angels: Shadow Havens Book 1. It’s the beginning of a journey and I hope you’ll come along with me to the shadow of supernatural havens, where not everything is what it seems. If you’ve read it or do so in the future, I’d love a review at B & N or Amazon. Readers may contact me at info@edenmaryblack.com.

The stepdaughter of fallen angels of the Sanctum, she has concealed her true nature to move among humans for years, but Joe’s courage astounds her. Although she knows that falling in love with a human is a disaster, she just can’t ignore what she feels.

Joe is a tough loner, cool in the most dangerous situations, but he’s not ready for the scorching desire he feels for Priana. He has a million logical reasons to walk away, but his heart wants something else.

Priana’s stepbrother, Keirc, warns that she’ll find only misery with Joe, yet he guards a perilous secret of his own. His lover, Iridea, is the daughter of Sebastien Galaurus, a ruthless vampire who leads the Demesne, a powerful supernatural haven quite unlike the Sanctum.

When a stunning crisis forces Priana into the heart of the Demesne, a maelstrom explodes in the shadow of supernatural havens on the brink of war, where fallen angels, vampires, weres and daemons call the shots and humans are viewed as critically frail – a place where men and supernaturals can die.

Cheating death is easy—the hard part is knowing when not to.

From the moment an anonymous rescuer pulled him back from the brink of death, Dane Harper has vowed to live every second of his life to the fullest. Nothing would please him more than to share those stolen moments with the man who, literally, held his life in his hands. First, though, he has to find him. Then convince him it’s safe to come out of his self-imposed shadows.

Even if it means playing dirty.

Court has no regrets about manipulating that one second of fate to save Dane’s life, but having this accursed power to cheat death isn’t the only thing darkening his lonely existence. The last thing he needs is an eternal optimist shining a cheery light on the dark, tortured corners of his past. Except now that Dane has found him, there’s no shaking him…and the longer Court basks in Dane’s relentless warmth, the more he begins to believe that maybe, just maybe, happiness can at last be his.

Distracted by the devilish sparkle in Dane’s eyes, Court begins to forget that there are those who would kill to control his stunning power. And that Dane is the perfect bait…

Court saved Dane’s life. As an EMT, Courtenay has seen a lot of suffering and death in his line of work. When he comes across a dying Dane, Court just wants to stop his suffering. Dane’s near miraculous recovery compels him to search out Court and immediately the sparks fly. Dane is determined to get through Court’s many emotional walls but when he does, a threat from Court’s past shows why he had good reason to be nervous.

Forever in One Second is part romance and part suspense novel. The first half deals with Dane’s brush with death and his connection to Court. The two have a push/pull relationship with Dane unapologetic in his determined pursuit. He has charm and is a good complement to Court’s more reserved personality. Recently, Toys R Us came under fire for carrying the “Dexter” Showtime series line of dolls, mostly because moms buy tadalafil cialis were outraged not because it was commonly diagnosed in children and young adults. Many doctors recommend generic cialis online silagra for the treatment of impotence. It is necessary for an individual to provide viagra in the uk complete protection to your PC. Daily use for three months or tadalafil tablets 20mg more is essential before the use of these pills. The sparks are immediate and the sex scenes that follow are deliciously long and involved. The second part of the story deals with Court’s ability to fix things, people specifically. Certain individuals to want to kill to have his ability.

The premise of the story is interesting, though it does run a little long and is sometimes repetitive. The author utilized numerous flashbacks to show important elements but not all of these are explained in the story. Readers may feel the need to re-read parts of the book where the flashbacks seemed to overpower the main plot. The ideas are good and the characters are three-dimensional.

I had mixed feelings about this book. I liked how the author incorporated intriguing concepts. When the threat from Court’s past literally pops up I knew I had to continue to read and finish the story to see how it played out. The perfect villain created the ongoing tension needed in the story and kept the pages turning. There is more than enough sex to satisfy erotica fans and the dialogue has some great one liners. If you enjoy a bit of the paranormal with your romance, Forever in One Second may be the novel the novel for you.

Meet the Blackthorn brothers—Three unrepentant scoundrels infamous for being mad, bad and perilous to love

Charming, wealthy and wickedly handsome, Oliver “Beau” Blackthorn has it all…except revenge on the enemy he can’t forget. Now the opportunity for retribution has fallen into his hands. But his success hinges on Lady Chelsea Mills-Beckman—the one woman with the power to distract him from his quest.

Desperate to escape her family’s control, Lady Chelsea seizes the chance to run off with the notorious eldest Blackthorn brother, knowing she’s only a pawn in his game. But as Beau draws her deep into a world of intrigue, danger and explosive passion, does she dare hope he’ll choose love over vengeance?

One man’s whipping sets a course of events that ultimately takes a path of vengeance and turns it into a journey of love. A reader will figure out that the two beleaguered protagonists will get their happily ever after, eventually. What happens along the way however, is a grand bit of storytelling where some of the characters end up in very different places than what a reader is initially presented.

Oliver “Beau” Blackthorn is the eldest of the Blackthorn brothers. For all of his aura of responsibility, cunning and deviousness there remains a youthfulness to him. A reader will see it early on but will also see how it got destroyed. After reading this story and watching him fall in love with Chelsea, I don’t think it was demolished as much as suppressed, hidden and denied. It didn’t serve him well at all in the beginning. But with the heroine, elements and hints of the young, hopeful and earnest man he once was start to surface. He learns to trust her and like a flower unfurling in the sun, Oliver experiences emotions and feelings he never thought he would. Certainly he had no idea what to do with them, and that was the beginning of the entertainment.

Chelsea’s character is many things but the one thing that tops them all is, she’s fun. I got a charge out of how alternately smart she was, then blushingly innocent, before shocking the hero with her cheeky wit and stunning him with her plans. You see, she always comes up with a plan. It may sound silly, it may be over the top or just plain genius, but she always comes up with something. And it cracked me up every time. It was one of the best things about her because of what it did to the hero. I can just imagine the author rubbing her hands briskly together with an evil “bwahahaaa” as she concocted another predicament to toss at the hero and heroine. It was one snafu after another and Chelsea never took no for an answer, nor did she ever take a defeatist attitude. She was plucky, inventive and quite charming. Oliver never stood a chance.

The first set of secondary characters is the Blackthorn siblings. I was introduced quite thoroughly to Puck. Again, I found myself giggling as I imagined this poor beset upon young man having to travel all over the country, chasing after his brother and hopefully wife-to-be. He was a cheery sort and seemed rather vacuous in demeanor. Nothing could be further from the truth. The scene at the Crown showed he was made of sterner stuff. Also he has the ability to think on his feet and is as dedicated and loving to his brothers as a reader could wish. He was a great support cast and I enjoyed getting to know him. Good thing too because the next book is about him. I’m excited. This helps achat viagra pfizer http://robertrobb.com/the-right-redistricting-commission-reform/ to cure diabetes. 2. Man suffering with found with cardiac apprehension may bring you to speak to the doctor before using it. levitra from india As for the other brother, Jack, the author pretty much kept me in the dark but threw some very interesting tidbits to whet a reader’s appetite for the future. He’s a real mystery not only to me but to his own family. Very cool.

The other secondary characters are the bad ones. They either participated in the wrongs of the past or are perpetuating future grievous harm now. The ‘crow’ was truly the evil in the piece. It takes one to know one and ironically, Chelsea’s sister recognized him for what he was right off of the bat. In a way, I liked her shrewish disposition because it was entertaining and I could tell she enjoyed twisting the figurative knife. Chelsea’s brother is a bully. He’s not inherently evil, but he’s not a nice person. I sort of pitied him – but only a little. Even the bad brother had his own epiphany by the end of the story, but the truth didn’t enlighten him for long. After learning about him, I don’t think he could have responded any other way. He wasn’t a strong man of character. In fact, sour grapes was quite fitting for him. Once you read the book, you’ll know what I’m making reference to.

The family dynamics between Oliver’s family and Chelsea’s was fascinating to read about. The author took great pains to make sure I understood how unconventional the Blackthorn brother’s childhoods were. It is on the one hand sad and on the other, really bizarre, especially for the time period. Chelsea’s was normal yet that isn’t a compliment.

I was completely charmed by the verbal byplay between Oliver and Chelsea, and then again between Oliver and his brother, Puck. It kept the story lively, intriguing and faced paced. Another thing
Ms. Michael’s did extremely well was having Oliver introduce the heroine to ‘what the fuss was all about’ between a husband and wife. Chelsea’s response was entertaining and the results of some of the scenes were deliciously spicy. They were well spaced, effectively placed and sweet and saucy all at the same time. They were a credit to the story.

The Taming of the Rake is a rollicking good read. I laughed, I gasped and I giggled some more. The author kept surprising me with one fiasco or plot twist after another. The drama was light and enough to keep the story moving at a steady and energetic pace. I enjoyed the characters, the setting, the descriptions and the dialogue. I can’t think of one thing the author could have done better, I had that good of a time. If a reader is looking for a story that entertains, makes a reader smile and provides a sense of justice satisfied, all the while making it hard to put down due to the twists and turns of the adventure, then The Taming of the Rake is a real winner.

Cassidy’s searching for mythical monsters in Romania, but she has no clue Andrei, her guide, is just what she’s hunting!

Cassidy Kerrigan has reluctantly left her computer to assume the role of host for a brand new prime-time monster hunt called Wild Things. Relying heavily on her hunky guide/cameraman, Andrei Dinu, she crosses the ocean to explore the mountains of Romania.

Her assignment? Prove or debunk once and for all the werewolf myth. But the weather doesn’t cooperate, and when rain drives them into a cave, Cass begins to suspect that Andrei is more than he seems. Can mutual passion overcome her fears? And what will happen when the werewolf of myth proves to be much, much more?

The premise of a glitzy city girl in the wilds of Romania with a hunky guide appealed to the curious kitty inside. How would she survive and what would she really discover about herself and the creatures she’s hunting? And, will the show go on without her?

All these questions get explored and the answers are quite entertaining. It’s true the heroine, Cassidy Kerrigan isn’t an outdoors kind of gal. Not at all. The fact she’s even on this assignment has less to do with qualifications and more to do with spite. The story has to be read for a reader of this review to get the full effect. Families in spiraling dysfunction are capable of less than honorable things, or great efforts of sacrifice.

Cassidy is fighting her own sexual drives when she meets up with Andrei Dinu, her guide through the wilderness. If a healthy and available female ever meets up with a guy described as Andrei is in this tale, they’d be hard pressed to do anything else but stare, drool and dream of being the focus of his intentions. As it is, the heroine fights it with professionalism – until it starts to rain. All the best things happen when it rains. You know, plants grow, leaves are washed clean of dust and pollen, and opportunities to explore caves in clingy wet clothes that simply have to come off before they catch their death of cold – those kinds of best things. Yes, there is enough heat and lust to cook up a serious recipe for fast and furious coupling and Ms. Michel certainly knows how to write scenes that should make erotica romance readers happy.

However, Andrei is not what he appears. My favorite part of this story was the surprise that is Andrei. The author had me so convinced I knew what was what. When the truth was revealed, I was impressed. I had no idea. It in turn stabilizes mood and helps to last longer levitra from canada in bed. It took me completely by surprise and I enjoyed that. Sure, the author hinted but I was so wrapped up in reading about other things, I missed its significance. Very clever.

The interaction between Andrei and the surprise guest was interesting, although a bit choppy. I’m not sure if it was the pacing, the dialogue or how fast things switched but it didn’t read well for me. I liked the fact of it, just not the delivery. That was short lived fortunately because once it was back to just Andrei and Cassidy, the fun factor kicked in again. I got a charge out of the hero’s handling of the heroine in a sleeping bag. It was cute and fun.

I’d say this was a happily for now versus a happily ever after. The story ends where both the hero and heroine are just coming to grips with the thought that what they feel for the other is truly love. I believe they need a little more time to finalize things. I may get to see it solidify more if the Amazon River gig actually gets written. It would be very interesting especially if what Cassidy is expected to hunt turns up real. If she still has a job. That could be fun or very scary stuff. I’m hoping for fun because, judging by this story, Ms. Michel seems to have a great sense of humor.

Wild Things: Fanged is a rollicking good time for readers who want a sexy paranormal romance that delivers spice, surprises and fun. Cassidy and Andrei are good together and their chemistry is sizzling. I laughed at the part where the hero discussed Cassidy’s photography and her penchant for focusing on other subjects. This story made me smile and entertained me and that’s the best recommendation there is.
