Middle brother Diego Lobos has everything he needs. Friends, family, a business, even a great truck, yet there’s always a hole inside him that won’t be filled. When cool, controlled Victoria Talbot brings in a badly stained dress, he knows she’s the one to fill that space. Can he trust her with his secrets if she hides her own?

Humor, hot lovin’ and a smokin’ wolf shifter. You so want to read this book.

When I found this book, I found a great author and, yeah, I’m nabbing all of this author’s back list. Belinda McBride managed to grab my attention not just within the first page, but in the first paragraph. Her writing flows. I laughed, cried, and wanted more. I felt like I was right there with Diego and Victoria and by the last page, it was like reading about my closest friends.

I loved both main characters. Diego is damaged because he feels like he’s never enough. Her perfect lover…

Modern day pirate Morgan Black’s life has always been immersed in the violent and traditional ways of piracy. When her family’s arch enemy puts a hit on her family, Morgan knows there’s one sure way to lift the hit; she must kidnap their enemy’s sexy grandson and literally force a union between the two warring families. Night after night, wrapped in Roman’s strong arms, she can’t deny the searing attraction blazing between them. Nor can she deny he now holds her heart as well as her life in his hands.

His dream angel…

When Roman Prince’s captor offers him her luscious body, fierce desire ignites, melting his usually tight self-control. Lust quickly turns to love as he enjoys their naughty sexual trysts more than he knows he should. But how will he react when he discovers he’s been kidnapped, not for a ransom, but for his sperm?

Jan Springer has a definite winner with Her Captive. The premise is wonderfully titillating and I thoroughly loved the gender reversal of a female pirate capturing a man to have her wicked way with him.

Be forewarned though…if you’re at all squeamish about forced seduction, the heroine in Her Captive kidnaps the hero and plans such a seduction, even though her captive is never unwilling.

I’ll admit, at first, I didn’t like the heroine, Morgan. She’s a thief who steals a shipload of marijuana from a competitor because she hates him and his tactics, then keeps the dope and sells it. Though things aren’t always as they seem, it made it difficult for me to admire her.

Ms. The party could strictly viagra prescription buy http://amerikabulteni.com/2019/06/17/1-milyardan-fazla-insanin-seyrettigi-maci-hindistan-kazandi/ be a girl’s affair or could include couples. No particular medication needed while cialis prescription being in this treatment. And they purchase cialis online amerikabulteni.com find it irresistible — so I am just informed. Inflammatory conditions like arthritis sample generic viagra are a major concern for everyone. Springer’s humor is delightful. I especially enjoyed the scenes where Morgan faces up to the reality of kidnapping and seducing an innocent man. I also liked the name of the heroine. Morgan Black is a saucy amalgamation of some pretty infamous pirate names, like Black Bart, Blackbeard, and Henry Morgan.

The tension when Morgan and her nemesis finally meet was terrific. He’s a villain with layers and although he’s utterly unredeemable, he was definitely the kind of bad guy I love to hate. I bought into the relationship between Morgan and the hero completely. The evolution of their feelings and the knocked-by-socks-off hotness of the sex was a potent mix. Loved it, loved it, loved it!

Congratulations, Ms. Springer. I couldn’t put the book down. If you like your heroines tough, intelligent, funny and shaded with just enough imperfection to endear them to you, Her Captive will wind up on your keeper shelf too.

Chevaunne is abducted by three brothers who take her to a new world where brothers share one wife, who is their treasured possession. Jim, Sam, and Paul have waited years to find the perfect woman, and when they see Chevaunne, they know immediately she is the one for them.

After a mind-blowing night with the three men, Chevaunne marries them the next day in front of the entire community. Now she has to learn a totally new life—a new culture, new ways of doing everything. But the sex is amazing, her men are considerate and loving, and Chevaunne is making friends and settling in.

Soon, though, she begins to wonder if she’s losing her mind. No matter how happy she is, she was kidnapped, after all! What was she thinking when she agreed to stay?

A planned kidnapping finds Chavaunne being seduced and wedded to not one, not two, but three brothers within 24 hours. Following tradition the three brothers — Jim, Sam, and Paul — abduct and seduce the woman they want to marry. However, even though sex with three men is great, Chavaunne spends a lot of time running through what ifs and wondering if she is suffering from Stockholm syndrome or is just plain crazy. I must admit that I liked where the author was coming from in the plot and enjoyed her imagination and the unique idea of a hidden community, almost like a world within the world — a commune of people who all live by the old Tibetan ways. They work together to have a life of peace and harmony and where polyandry is allowed. The people of New Thimphu live underground to hide their numbers, customs, and wealth from the towns around them. I thought it was really cool watching Chavaunne learn about these traditions, and their way of life while trying to come to terms with being abducted and having three husbands. Boy, if I could find three spouses like these I could get used to having three men waiting on me hand and foot, no more house work and three bed warmers.

For a short read I found the story skillfully written with good editing for the most part, very entertaining and hot enough to get the endorphins and adrenaline running in the blood. I think it is a nice read, maybe pool side so you’d have a lot of cool water around to take care of the heat. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a cheerful and tension free read. It might not be one of those books I would read over and over again, but was worth reading once and adding the author to my lookout list for more of her books.

When Katrina Masters returns to Fairfax, Texas, after seventeen years away, she finds things have changed. The guy she had a crush on at high school is now running a sex club and is a Dom to boot! Common sense tells her to steer well clear, but she’s sorely tempted by his job offer.

Self-made man Colt Donahue is a strict Dom. His business, Club Fusion, is a great success, and he’s not about to let the local Sheriff or the narrow-minded people of Fairfax close him down. He’s here to stay.

From the moment he sees Kat, he wants her. Just one look in her sultry hazel eyes, and Colt knows the sassy, outspoken woman is for him. Nothing would excite him more than making her submit to his will.

Colt shows Katrina what a Dom is really capable of, but can he tame the firebrand into complete submission?

Life is about choices and every choice has a consequence. Katrina Masters is learning this lesson the hard way. Her attempts at looking like a success take a nose dive in the face of reality and credit sharks upon returning to her hometown. Will Kat learn that appearances aren’t everything and being tamed by the Dom is what her heart desires?

Despite the title, Tamed by the Dom is not a hardcore BDSM story. Colt is the owner of Club Fusion and participates as it pleases him but until Kat Masters returns to town in a cloud of dust, he hasn’t committed himself to keeping a sub. A man can take it on an empty stomach as it helps with more benefit cialis prescription although a lighter meal is also recommended. Ms. Bowles has penned an engaging little novella with two characters that truly needed each other. Colt and Kat are similar in that they both feel like they don’t belong. Where they differ is in how they react to those feelings of being the town outcast. Colt has the self-confidence to follow his dream and build a club that caters to kink. Kat tries to buy the respect of her hometown by looking successful when in reality she is anything but successful. Ms. Bowles does a beautiful job showing Kat’s personal growth through her gradual submission to Colt.

The plot is well defined as is the conflict and resolution. If a short story with a sweet romance and some light and yet steamy BDSM is what you are in the mood for, pick up a copy of Tamed by the Dom.

Can she convince a man to let down his defenses when he’s set on guarding his heart? Tall, dark and eligible? That’s all that matters to the women of Jacobsville when it comes to handsome and aloof FBI agent Jon Blackhawk. But if it were up to him, he would never settle down. Luckily, Jon has the best gatekeeper: his efficient and reliable assistant, Joceline Perry. Without her help, he’d be at the mercy of husband hunters—but the more he comes to rely on her, the more he notices how invaluable she really is… While Joceline can’t deny that her boss is attractive, as a single mother with responsibilities she’s determined to be professional. But when Jon is accosted by a criminal seeking revenge, she comes to his aid—fueling the spark that is growing between them. As the attempts on Jon’s life increase, Joceline stands by his side. But when the smoke clears, will the man who avoided love realize that all he ever needed was right there all along?

Tall, dark and aloof FBI agent Jon Blackhawk isn’t ready to settle down, certainly not with any of the prospects his manipulative mother Cammy selects. Fortunately, his administrative Assistant Joceline Perry has his back. She also has a secret she cannot reveal to anyone, especially her good-looking boss. However, when a revenge-seeking criminal targets Jon, his family and Joceline and her son, the two must work together…and try to deny the attraction simmering between them.

For five years, Joceline has worked for Jon, determined not to let her feelings for the handsome Cherokee/Lakota man show. Joceline is efficient, indispensable to Jon, and willing to dish out the banter, but she’s very private about her personal life. The story she tells people is that Markie’s father was a soldier who left for Iraq and never came back. As a single mother of an asthmatic boy who may have ADD, Joceline’s number one priority is to Markie, to care for him and protect him as best she can. On the job she has an uncanny ability to ferret out information needed for Jon’s cases, but she’s adamant about not doing menial tasks such as making coffee—not in her job description.

Jon works out of the San Antonio office on the violent crimes squad and specializes in human trafficking crimes, sometimes with his older brother McKuen Kilraven, another federal agent, and Detective Sergeant Rick Marquez. Both Jon and his brother are ultra-conservative. Rumor has it that Jon has never had a woman, but it not for the women’s lack of trying. It seems his mother is determined to find a wife for her youngest son, and she knows it’s not going to be anyone as immoral as Jon’s assistant who has an illegitimate son. Jon meanwhile, is discovering that he’s quite attracted to Joceline.

When a known criminal, Harold Monroe, is released, threats begin, first toward Joceline and Markie, then toward Jon and his family, and Jon seeks the help of Rourke, who seems to be a mercenary with South African origins, to guard Joceline and Markie. They return to the ranch where Cammy Blackhawk descends. Finding Joceline there, Cammy vents her rage on Joceline who now realizes any possibility of a life with Jon is but a dream. Cammy’s anger sets off an asthma attack in Markie, and she rushes him to a hospital, only to be followed by a repentant Cammy who shares a few secrets of her own.

I enjoyed Merciless very much despite a few niggles, namely a plot that has been done and done: a drop-dead gorgeous Texan who happens to be Native American, who happens to be rich as Croesus, who happens to have a spectacular ranch and an opinionated overbearing mother. We are told that Cammy Blackhawk is really a nice person, but in the first half of the story she seems more caricature than character. Then she transforms into a gentle and caring woman. The manner in which Ms. Palmer handled Cammy’s confession pulled it from the brink for me. At this point I was invested in both the characters and the outcome. There is much more, but mentioning any of it would be a spoiler.

Merciless has several twists and turns and a host of bad guys to keep you guessing as to who the real killer is. There are numerous secrets revealed along the way. There are a couple of love scenes that I would label lightly sensual.

Ms. Palmer is a skilled writer who manages to tie up all the loose ends in this suspenseful story.

In a world on the brink of chaos, passion and vengeance collide . . .

After six months in hell, Julian Castille has returned to the world a changed man—no longer the calm, powerful CEO, but a shifter fully embraced by the blood of his clan. Julian has one goal: find the key to the portal that stands between the human realm and unprecedented darkness, in order to win back the pieces of his soul. The last thing he needs is a distraction like the beautiful, enigmatic Jaden DaCosta.

Three years ago, a forbidden night of passion left Jaden forever altered: mated to Julian Castille—bound to a man who despises her. But the temptation to trust this darker, more savage—and more captivating—Julian is overwhelming. And as they fight for their immortal souls, their insatiable desire for each other may prove their fatal undoing . . .

Julian Castillo had been missing for three years. He’s back and he doesn’t even care about Jaden. Nor does he seem to know that they have mated…

This is fast paced story about shapeshifters and forces beyond our world. Julian has been in hell, literally, and he has very little time to accomplish his mission here on earth if he wishes to earn redemption. The premise of the story is pure fantasy, but the plot stands up well. There’s lots of action, and you get caught up in the fight between the jaguar clans. The author creates hard-hitting characters with a touch of evil in them. She adds sorcerers and gods themselves to the story. You’ll keep turning pages to see just what is going to happen next. There are constant surprises in the story.

I enjoy reading about animal shape shifters, and jaguars fascinate me. But the real reason this story appealed to me was the romance between these two opposing clan members. They can’t trust each other, but they do love each other even if they are fighting it. They argue a lot and I enjoyed watching them turn from enemies into embracing the love between them.

Ms. Stone has created a complicated plot with lots of little subplots. There will be more in this series, I’m sure. She’s going to pick up one of the strings she left hanging out and work another story from there.

Following Kady to New Orleans where she is on assignment he knows it will be easier to watch over her if he stays in the shadows, keeping his shifter abilities hidden. He hooks up with the local Sufi, head of the shifter family clan, but eventually engages in a bloody battle with the Russians. But, there is another enemy in their midst, one who won’t rest until he destroys their chance at everlasting love…

Drake has fallen in love. Can Kady love him for who he really is, or will she leave him upon discovering the truth about him?

Oh boy!

For a cute sounding premise, this story has a lot more depth, drama and action of the gun kind than it lets on. For romantic suspense lovers who enjoy movies like The Godfather and The Untouchables, this book has captured the tradition, with a paranormal twist.

My Life as a Dog isn’t a tale of adorable and silly antics, nor is it a book about werewolves and demons. No, this story is about falling in love puppy style and finding out that human love is a whole lot more complicated. That canines and man love differently much to my delight and interest. That there are shifting chipmunks that defy bone density and some bad guys are even worse under normal human skin.

The external conflict is brutal, despicable and eye-riveting reading. There are traitors and sadistic humans, double-crosses and political pressures. The internal conflict is a bit easier to understand. How do you tell a woman you love her when all she’s ever known is your puppy side? That would have been an interesting conversation but the authors chose to have it as an afterthought, subjugated by the very nasty crisis that almost kills the hero and heroine. I guess running for your life tends to put things into perspective.

There are light moments where Martin, the hero, has to resign himself to his name, Precious. For a virile and handsome man, that was a bit hard to take. Since this story is written in first person point of view via Martin, it was fun getting into his head. The authors did a good job of not losing sight of the first person point of view; I know that can be challenging especially with such a busy book.

Kady grows from child to woman, from innocent to FBI agent. She comes from a loving and solid family background. The love that surrounds her growing up will hold her in good stead in her adult life and in the course of this tale. She’s likeable, and tenacious, smart and yet, she turns into a little girl every time she gets to cuddle her “Precious”. It my link sildenafil tab is learnt that traditional chemists push people to buy branded medicines that come at a high level and nurture a performance-based culture. Afterwards, levitra from canadian pharmacy or Kamagra is produced with the rumbling of the soft palate. I couldn’t help but like her.

Although this book is marketed under ‘erotic’, I found it tame in that department. When Martin explored his love for Kady in the human physical way, it was satisfying and well written but nothing extreme. Perhaps it comes from the description of the rape that goes on at a mob’s breaking-in house, perhaps it was because Martin, as Precious, saw Kady in all her glory. I don’t know. I couldn’t figure that out. The thing that did frustrate me was the use of five dollar words. The words by themselves weren’t the problem but where they were used – like referring to his member with ‘detumescence’ after having sex. I had to stop and look up the word, and sure, based on my dictionary it was appropriate. But it threw me out of the afterglow of the moment. It made me stop reading the book. I like learning new things but when I do, I prefer it not to be during a book of fiction. On top of that, do guys actually have that word in their brains after a vigorous sexual workout? Most the guys I know don’t even know that word exists much less have it in their top five words to use regarding their sex. This book would have been fine and could stand strong on its own without the aggrandizing.

That being said, I did enjoy myself. The book is entertaining with a lot of suspense because I never knew who to trust and who was going to survive or die. Just when I thought things were going Martin and Kady’s way, the rug was pulled out from under their feet. This really is a page flipping book because so much goes on and the authors kept it progressing at an effective pace. The dialogue was clear. When the Sufi spoke, I knew who was speaking. When it was Linda, again, the authors painted her personality and quirks in a delightful way. I liked many of the secondary characters and thought they added panache to the tale.

My Life as a Dog is a very meaty and intricate dance of storytelling with action and mayhem keeping a reader on his/her toes. The romance has to dodge and weave through a minefield of emotions, revealed truths and subsequent betrayals. Romantic suspense readers are going to find a lot to enjoy when they pick up this book. Even the wrap-up is typical for Martin, because he’s a thorough kind of guy and his happily ever after is just as complete. This book is well worth the time to check out.

Jesamiah Acorne, Captain of the Sea Witch, has accepted a pardon of amnesty against his misdeeds of piracy. But old enemies do not forget the past. In particular Edward Teach – Blackbeard himself – has a bone to pick with Acorne.

Following an indiscretion with an old flame, Jesamiah finds his fiancée, the midwife and white witch, Tiola Oldstagh, has gone to North Carolina to help with a difficult birth; which is where Blackbeard now resides. He mustn’t discover that Tiola is Jesamiah’s woman. She’ll have to hide her gift of Craft from the black-hearted pirate who has sold his soul to the devil.

With Sea Witch damaged and himself wounded, Jesamiah must take stock of the situation – but arrested for acts of piracy how is he to clear his name, avoid the noose, keep Tiola safe and put an end to Blackbeard – all while being haunted by the ghost of his father?

From the Bahamas to North Carolina and Williamsburg in Virginia Bring It Close moves at a swashbuckling pace. There is intrigue, misunderstandings, romance and adventure – all wrapped up in a blend of supernatural fantasy.

The troubled, guilt-ridden spirit of Charles Mereno (Jesimiah’s father) prowls the pages of Bring It Close striving to set right his many wrong doings during his earthly life. The spirit’s story reveals how Jesimiah suffered because of his father’s faulty judgment and how Evil personified in the person Black Beard came to be.

Jesimiah Acorne and Tiola Oldstagh maneuver to survive as they deal with Evil’s ambassador Edward Teach (Black Beard), a pirate protected by the Devil and controlled by malevolent Dark Powers. How Jesimiah is connected to Black Beard is a dark thread woven into this intriguing tapestry of this tale.

The bright, shining thread in the design is Tiola, the eternal soul of a White Craft witch-woman in a beautiful, young woman’s body. She uses her abilities as a midwife and healer for good. She has to tread cautiously since the people in the early eighteenth century did not deal kindly with witches. Neither would the Dark Malevolencies if they could locate her as the source of light and good that stands against them.

Jesimiah is a variegated thread in the tapestry, somewhat of a chameleon, who fits in with whichever segment of the population he needs to in order to stay alive and prosper. Now a “retired” pirate with amnesty, he still sails into life-threatening situations used by self-serving people who are not concerned about whether he lives or dies just so long as they get what they want.

Jesimiah, a complex character, lives by the pirate code for the most part, but an underlying morality tempers his judgment much of the time. His inability to mentally reach her leaves him desolate as he gets into situations that bring him to the brink of death.

The supernatural elements in Bring It Close play major roles. Jesimiah’s father’s spirit, with the help of the old witch woman, crosses the eternal river to return to earth and set right his wrongdoings. His character fills in the back story that led up to the horrific childhood Jesimiah suffered that led to his pirate life. Many things alluded to in the first two books of this trilogy, Sea Witch and Pirate Code, are explained in Bring It Close. Some of the graphic descriptions make one shudder.

Helen Hollick weaves in a multitude of characters, like the durable Alicia, the determined Sam Grant, the tried and true Rue, and many others, as she creates a tale of people struggling to build lives in the New World along the eastern coast of America and the Caribbean. Evil stalks the area and flourishes on the greed and fears of the people. How Good copes, with Evil running rampant, makes captivating reading with adrenaline-pumping actions, dreadful situations, and a love as solid as a rock and as soft and gentle as a sigh. That love is the foundation for Jesimiah and Tiola’s relationship.

The organization and POV changes in Bring It Close were a little distracting for me. At times I felt pulled too far away from the hero and heroine. However, having read the first two books of the trilogy, I loved traveling with Jesimiah and Tiola as they get ever closer to their happy-ever-after.

Ms. Hollick’s incredible ability to weave in history, superstitions, moralistic judgments of the time, unique terms and sayings, levels of society, women’s place in the hierarchy, supernatural elements, and fantasy makes the story rich. Her wonderful descriptions and her spectacular character development make the story throb with life.

Bring It Close is an amazing armchair adventure into the world of pirates and settlers along the eastern coast of America in the eighteenth century.

A woman once shunned. A man now changed. There’s a thin line between love and hate.

When Cassandra, a Wiccan practitioner, encounters a man from her past who’d broken her heart, she casts some spells to help herself while wishing karma would deal out some payback. The spells turn against her, and before she knows it, she finds herself falling for him again. Will she close off her heart or will she cross that thin line between hate and love and allow herself to feel again?

Can a woman gain revenge on a former boyfriend without succumbing to his charm all over again?

This is the dilemma facing Wiccan Cassandra Reed when her high school flame—the young man who dumped her—turns up as best man at Cassie’s friend’s wedding. Cassie hopes Philip McKenzie hasn’t recognized her—after all, she’s no longer the chubby, brace-wearing teen he humiliated all those years ago. What’s more, she no longer lives in Pennsylvania. Imagine her surprise when Philip enters the metaphysical shop she co-owns with Devri.

Phil is there to begin renovations on the shop, upgrades both women want, but the actual hiring of the workmen was left in Devri’s hands. At first, Cassie is dismayed and rude; later she decides to get even and accepts a date with the hunky builder. In the meantime, she meditates and devises a plan that will ensure payback for Phil’s dumping her. What she doesn’t count on is a spell gone awry. Instead of the power working with her, it seems to be working against her. Before you meet the Sexologist in South Delhi, make sure that the viagra 25mg doctor is an MD. As mentioned above, urologists treat both males and females of all ages. Each time they date, Cassie gets a little green around the gills and has to go home. Once away from Phil, her symptoms disappear.

Phil is persistent. He likes what he sees and pursues her. There’s a niggle of remembrance, something familiar about Cassie, but he’s not sure what it is, only that he’s smitten and wants to see her again.

For Cassandra is a cute read with engaging characters, including an all-knowing older woman with Cassie’s best interests at heart, and a delightful cat. While I didn’t quite buy Cassie’s mix of boldness and nerves at her meeting with Phil in the shop, I accepted it. In addition, I felt at first she was over-reacting to a past incident, however, the author explained it in the nick of time.

I would like to have seen better editing of this manuscript prior to publication. Some niggles for me were: “vile” as in a vial of fluid, “broach” which should have been “brooch”.

Still, I enjoyed the story and found the ending satisfying. C. R. Moss has crafted a charming story with delightful characters and an interesting plot designed to keep the pages turning.
