Ruby has a secret. Beneath her prissy exterior lies a submissive in desperate need of a Master. After her past disastrous attempt at exploring her fantasies, she buried her cravings deep and told herself she’d be fine without giving in to them. Then she meets Joshua. He’s everything she’s ever fantasized about—and everything she’s feared.

Joshua didn’t start out wealthy—he’s an ex-marine who made his fortune after seeing his fair share of war. His wealth and lavish lifestyle are nothing next to his driving need to claim Ruby for his own. He’d give up everything to collar her for a lifetime, and he’ll have to use every sinful dominant trick he knows to make her let him in.

Ruby wasn’t really a part of the BDSM lifestyle. Her co-worker and good friend, Jamie, had a part-time gig as an on-stage submissive. Ruby often went along to the privately held parties Jamie worked at, helping Jamie before and after the sessions with her costuming and make up. Only there, in the background of these private parties could Ruby safely fantasize, to imagine what it would be like if she were the perfect submissive, up on that stage being treated like a much-loved toy by her Master. During one performance Ruby notices a handsome stranger, and she’s put off balance when she realizes he’s just as interested in her. Could this man fulfill her every fantasy?

This is a steamy and well written story, definitely not for the faint of heart. It absolutely has some strongly worded language and if you blush easily I’d recommend you read this in private – not on a public commute to work or where you’ll get curious glances. I loved the pacing of the story – I felt the introductions to Ruby and Joshua in particular were excellently written and drew me right in almost immediately. As a reader I felt initially that I connected quickly to Ruby and found her to be a relatable character I could sympathize with. She had plenty of desires but after being burned in the past she squashed them all firmly. After the story swapped to Joshua’s perspective I also found him a lovely character I really wanted to know more about. As the story progressed there are some strong secondary characters that are also introduced and (I hope!) main characters of the two upcoming books in the series.

I found there to be plenty of sex, and while kinky and extremely detailed I also definitely found there to be an emotional connection between Ruby and Joshua. It’s a very fine line, but while I liked the emotional connection between them I didn’t really feel like there was a romantic link between them, and for me this was the main thing I found lacking in the story. I had no doubt that Ruby and Joshua lusted for each other, that they were sexually attracted and fitted together well. Their needs and desires were very well suited. But I didn’t really feel that the spark of romance was there between them and annoyingly (for me) I felt this was in large part due to Ruby – who simply would not let go of her previous bad experience and trust Joshua.

Why Ruby couldn’t see how she was constantly being set up – even after Joshua had proven himself and assured her multiple times – really annoyed me and squashed a bit of my enjoyment of the story. Mis-trusting your partner once, or in trying circumstances even twice, I can understand. But Ruby doubted Joshua over and over and it just got to the point where it really dragged the story down for me. A BDSM relationship in particular needs to be built on trust – if she constantly questioned his loyalty, how can I believe she’d trust him to do kinky things to her? I really wanted to shake Ruby near the end of the story, which was sad because there’s so many other excellent things that I genuinely enjoy here. The sex scenes were delicious, I was very intrigued by Joshua’s friends and hope they get their own stories and much of the BDSM club scenes were really interesting.

With a couple of major exceptions this is a good story and strongly written. I will certainly be keeping an eye out for the next two in the series.

With no idea where she comes from, or who she is really is, Ruby has gone through life focusing on her passion for science. But for the last seven years she’s dreamed of the same three men.

It isn’t until she’s drawn to barren and icy Alaska for her research that she comes face to face with the men from her dreams…men who are also shifters. They tell her she’s their mate, and the three of them will share her. They’re dominating and possessive, and want her to be their first and only. When they mate it’s for life.

She knows she can run, but Ruby also knows they’ll chase her. What she doesn’t know is if she’s ready to accept everything they want, and everything she finds out.

This was a sweet sexy shifter story. It was short but interesting and I enjoyed reading it.

The plot of this story was interesting and the characters were likeable but I was expecting more than the bit of low suspense. Ruby stood out to me as a very strong heroine who was willing to stand up for the right thing for everyone. She took the situation in stride at discovering her origins and that she would have three shifter mates. Get ready for some hot mating sex in this one. I was fine with that part but felt that the conflict ended a bit too suddenly. I liked the story, but it was missing something for me. To sum up my opinion, it was nicely written but not very exciting. A good read for a couple hours, anyway, and onward to the next book by this author.

I recommend this short sexy book as a quick and satisfying read for those who enjoy hot shifter romance.

The fireman is hot—able to burn me. But still, I crave the singe.
The professor is cold—brooding with intrigue, making me yearn for more.
The police officer easily unlocks my laugh—something I thought was caged for life.

Two years ago, before my cheating husband died, he promised he’d right his wrongs–and there were so many wrongs. On his deathbed, he swore he’d send a slew of men to worship me and treat me like a goddess.

I don’t know how, but my husband kept that one promise. Unbelievably, I get to choose between three men—one’s perhaps too hot, another too cold, while the other might be just right. And faintly, I can hear my husband chuckling and whispering that I don’t have to choose.

Maybe—just maybe, they could all be mine…

Sometimes love isn’t all rolled up into one person. For Jane it was rolled up into three men. Each very different and yet exactly what she needed.

I have read a lot of ménage and erotic stories with multiple partners. One thing stood out to me as different in Shine. Typically a ménage or multiple partner relationship starts out with guys who have known each other for a long time not guys who just met. In this story, they started out with “I will have her” and it ended with “we love her and we want to be with her forever”. It was refreshing and added a new level of tension to the story.

Mind you their first meeting was fun to read. It was instant contest to see who is better. It was nice to read how the guy’s relationship with each other changed. Not saying that they fall in love with each other. Their relationship changed from strangers to friends. There is no intimate touching whatsoever between the guys.

This was a book about a widow who’s been grieving her cheating, dead husband for over a year. About how she learns to love all of who she is. About how she learns to let go of her past and her insecurities that have been ingrained in her because of her past. Told in the first person POV of Jane, this book delved into mind of a person whose past has formed who she is at present, both good and bad.

I saw this non-traditional relationship between three guys who loved her immensely blossom and strengthen. Yes, the passion and chemistry she has with each of them is different but in the best way possible. They don’t seem like carbon copy characters with different names. This was one of those erotic books that I will definitely remember.

Sylva swallows an acorn sweetmeat at the Garden of Earthly Delights Fair. No garden-variety recreational drug, the acorn transports her to a fantasy forest where she must successfully face three trials before she can earn the title of Nymph.

Her sponsor and handler for these trials is the faun Leander. He forces her to call him Master, giving her pleasure but refusing her the thing she most desires.

What she views as a temporary escape from her static life becomes a lesson in having the courage to take what you really want.

Sylva acquired an acorn sweetmeat in a fair. A sweetmeat that would transport her to a world that would take her breath away….

I was surprised very much when I started reading this book.  The world that was created was wonderful, though this story was missing most of the background information not just about Sylva but also about the fantasy world. However, that being said it would fulfill the erotic need of a reader. It was short and sexy, so the lack of complete world-building wasn’t missed that much.

The characters were interesting and curious. A nice interpretation of some of the classic characters.

The bondage is very cleverly mixed into the plot. This is a story perfect for anyone who loves hot sex and bondage mixed with fantasy.

Erotic author Samantha Fox is one of those shy quiet types you need to look out for. Though publicly she still blushes at the faintest sexual innuendo, privately she likes to get all her darkest fantasies down on paper. She’s published one of her steamy novels, but a fear of being discovered led her to tone down the good bits, turning a hot erotic story into mediocre titillation.

Now with a sex life to match her pitiful writing, she’s come up with a grand idea of how to improve both – an ad in the local paper. “Fem. Erotic Author seeks men for experience, experimentation, and inspiration for erotic works.”

At first the whole idea seems to be a complete failure, but then she meets Richard, Jarred and Oliver. Suddenly the stories are flowing again, and Samantha’s love life is busier than it’s ever been.

An erotic writer has a dwindling career due to only writing vanilla sex, so she places an ad in a magazine to gain first-hand experience with, not one or two, but three men.

If you’re looking for a hot erotic quickie where your own imagination does most of the work, then this is for you. If you seek fully fleshed out characters, deep emotional connections, and hot sex that actually means something, then look elsewhere.

None of the characters—Samantha Fox, Oliver, Richard, and Jarred—are given much physical description, hence my statement of your imagination doing most of the work. The three guys are different from each other, though, so that at least is good. Oliver is quiet and brooding, Jarred arrogant and confident, and Richard a pleasurer with a dominant side.

The worst person in this ménage is Samantha, who stutters and blushes, acts coy and playful at the same time, and ticks out all the boxes in the annoying heroine column. However… her character does bring to the foreground the difference between how easily men can engage in sex and how hard the same is for women. Taking a risk might pay off or might not, and the trouble is one never knows beforehand.

The plot is as light as a feather. Sam wants depth to her erotic fiction, so she seeks men with an ad, and then she and her three chosen men have sex, both one-on-one and all four together. No depth, no development, and certainly no realism. But like I said, as an erotic short story, this is okay. Not much above the average, but okay.

Overall, there are better erotic short stories out there. Still, if you like your heroine shy but daring to take a risk and be rewarded by the attention of three gorgeous men, you’ll like this. All three of them have their own personality quirks, and Samantha having sex with them individually was fun to read about. This is definitely all about sexploration, and not much else.

Rylan, Zarek, and Soran come from a planet of fire and stone. One known as hell itself. They are violent warriors, born and trained to be killers. But they need to breed, and with no females to claim on their planet, they must purchase one at the auctions.

Tessa is a human—an almost extinct race. After she is captured by slave traders, she is thrust upon an auction block. But one male seems intent on having her, and makes it known she is his. He is a giant with fire-colored skin, black soulless eyes, and onyx-tipped wings. It is only when she is inside Rylan’s lair that Tessa realizes it isn’t one warrior that wants her, but his twin brothers, too. Can she accept her fate and the fact the three alien males are intent on breeding with her?

Auctioned off like cattle, the unfortunate females of this story who find themselves unlucky enough to end up on the auctioneer’s block can only pray for a buyer who might have more use for them than a mere pleasure slave. Tessa was one of these ill-fated ladies and soon finds herself staring into the black, soulless eyes of her new master. While his outward appearance scares the crap out of her, what she doesn’t anticipate is her body’s immediate response to him. Massive and powerfully built, the creature looks like the devil himself and Tessa can’t help but wonder if she hasn’t just become Satan’s concubine.

As Rylan scans the offerings up for bid, his gaze lands on a single human female and his perusal comes to a screeching halt. Something about her heats his blood and sends an instant response to his nether regions; he knows right then and there that she will be his. After bidding an ungodly amount to ensure his winning, he scoops her up and flies home—literally. While he has no doubt this small woman understands what it is he wants from her, what she doesn’t know is he has two other brothers who plan on sharing her as well. Despite her small stature, he knows her body is meant for theirs and looks forward to all the pleasure and offspring she will provide them.

Breed Her is one of those stories that focuses mainly on one of the basic needs for survival of a race: reproduction. However, there is an underlying story behind it all that may be easy to miss. Rylan makes his purpose of purchasing Tessa very clear from the beginning. There are no promises of love or affection. However, he does imply that aside from her expected duty to meet their sexual needs that he and his brothers will provide for her and take care of her, which is more than she’s had in life thus far. In this world, humans are a dying breed; this might be the only promise of a somewhat safe and stable life, despite the carnal requirements.

While Tessa’s predicament seems almost cruel at first, she doesn’t seem too upset over the whole situation and quickly falls into bed with the three brothers. And I do mean all three, at the same time. While only one gets the initial privilege of getting to have vaginal intercourse with her, the other two certainly make due with various other options to share her and don’t seem to mind. In fact, they all seemed quite happy to watch each other do just about everything else imaginable with her body.

Even though the story certainly drew up some animalistic urges of my own, I found the multiple editing errors and point of view violations a bit distracting. There was no flaw with the storyline itself—I quite enjoyed it—but it could use a bit more editing to correct these things. I think one of the things I found most appealing about Breed Her is it made no empty promises or concealed the premise behind everything. We knew what Rylan wanted right from the get go and he wasted no time in achieving it. He wanted a female to breed with, and he got one. His mannerisms weren’t cruel or demeaning, he just made no qualms about what he expected from Tessa. While some women might be offended by this, Tessa seemed perfectly okay with it, which made accepting the plot much easier for me.

All in all, if you’ve ever fantasized about being powerless, held captive—and not necessarily against your will—and ravished by three men with gorgeous bodies and ample endowments, at the same time, then you may just enjoy Breed Her by Jenika Snow. While this story doesn’t really get into a lot of emotions, a little addition at the end gives us a peek into what Tessa’s life is like a few years down the road. Seems to me she’s pretty happy with her lot in life. Can’t say that I blame her.

It’s a very quick read so be prepared to finish it in one setting. Just be forewarned, the author’s writing is very descriptive and provocative. So take heed of when and where you choose to embark upon this erotic journey. If you expect to be stimulated, Ms. Snow certainly delivers in a highly erotic tale of lust, need, and possession. My thanks to the author for an enjoyable story that reminded me that sometimes, a good story can be just about sex.

At age six, Evangeline “Evvie” Charles falls in love with three boys. They’re seven—Briggs Henriksen, Giovanni Diorio, and Chase Gregory. They befriend her and give her the only real family she’s ever known. At twenty-one, on a night of grief and loss, she meets each of them at her door. One at a time, she gives them the comfort of her body.

Now it’s eight years since she’s seen them. Over the course of a long weekend, she runs into them, those men who saved her, who she’s loved forever. Finding a certain destiny about it, she spends one night of wild passion in each man’s arms.

One night isn’t enough for any of the men. They find her and discover her secret—a seven-year-old girl who surely belongs to one of them. The men all want Evvie, and they all want Maisy, too. Evvie could never choose—she loves them all. The only solution is to share their love.

Evvie grew up with almost a hero worship towards Chase, Gio, and Briggs, so it seemed only natural that this escalated into a sexual attraction eventually, and made for a intriguing read.

Evangeline (Evvie) was a character that sometimes I found endearing and other I found to be too much of a push over. She did not have the best of upbringings as a child; in fact, the girl couldn’t even read until she met her three knights in shining armor. This background made me immediately sympathize with her, and hope that she could find happiness in her life. While I can understand why this would lead to an infatuation, I really wished she would just stick up for herself, especially in the bedroom.  It seemed like she would willingly do anything they asked, and while it did pleasure her, at times I felt like she was submitting just to make them happy. This is something I struggled with as a reader, because while all of the men had no problem with putting demands onto Evvie, she never seemed to ask for anything for herself. In fact, the few things she did want she seemed to either manipulate the men into giving it to her, or just concede to the men in her life. In the end, I did see Evvie start to coming to herself a little more, and even put her foot down at times, I would have liked to see it a bit more earlier in the story.

Collectively Briggs, Gio and Chase truly entertained me. I think the author had a kinship to Briggs as he seemed to be center stage the first half of the story, and ever the voice of reason when one was needed. Chase, on the other hand, was pushy and demanding at times, but the other guys where always around to rein him in. Gio is the most laidback, down to earth of the three. While he can be determined, it was always done in such a friendly way you just couldn’t argue with him. The three of them really created the perfect man, and I could easily see why Evvie could not help but to fall in bed with them again, and again.

The erotica in this story is on steroids. It is a driving factor behind the relationship development, and plays center stage throughout the entire story. While I really appreciated this at first, after a while it got almost tedious. The men always found a new way to please Evvie, but sometimes I just wanted more story without the characters falling into bed one way or another. I can say, that I enjoyed seeing each man’s personality in the bedroom, as they all were very different, which was something I could truly appreciate.

I love the incorporation of Maisy in the story, and would love to have seen more of her. I think Maisy added a certain level of maturity to the story in all of the characters, and really helped solidity the bond between everyone. I also got to see a different side of Evvie when Maisy was around, which was refreshing because she really seemed to really shine during these scenes.

All in all it was an entertaining story. Anyone in the need for some hot male loving will not be disappointed in this story.

Maizy Owen is living her dream, working as a kindergarten teacher. Her profession gives her purpose, but her personal life is another story. Recently rejected by her fiancé, Maizy struggles to hide a part of her nature that she longs to freely express.

Cody Welsh , Heath Lindsey, and Spencer Ketchum, affectionately known to their friends as “the bears,” have been searching for the mysterious belly dancer who laid claim to their hearts nearly a year ago. Their paths cross on a rainy morning when Spencer can’t take his eyes off of a bubbly, dark-haired beauty with an unconscious urge to dance.

Far from overwhelmed by the bear’s immense combined presence, Maizy finds comfort and acceptance in their arms. They set out to discover if their growing bond can thrive, realizing her dream job may be jeopardized. Thanks to the gossip mill in Divine, it quickly becomes clear that Maizy has a choice to make. Keep her job or lose the men she loves.

What do you do when you have to choose between your calling or true love?

Maizy Owen is a kindergarten teacher in the small town of Divine, Texas. She is fulfilling her calling to shape the young minds of the future. Despite a recent break up from her fiance, Maizy is living a pretty good life. Her brother, one of the heros from the previous book in the series, Lucy’s Revenge, is getting married and is happy. Her new sister-in-law rocks and her nephew is blossoming. And then she meets the three bears.

Cody, Heath and Spencer’s are brothers we met three books ago in Tiny Dancer. Thrown together during their time in foster care, the men formed an unbreakable bond. Did I mention that they are super tall, muscled and sexy? Yeah. When they see a woman performing a mesmerizing belly dance on Halloween, the guys are done for. Hook, line, sinker. But before they can meet her she’s gone from the club. Believing they will find her the men set their plan in action and ready themselves for the love of their life. Thankfully it doesn’t take much to convince their belly dancer she’s the one when they finally meet her by chance.

These three men instantly grabbed my attention when they first graced the page and as a fan of the series I was eager to hear their story. I really enjoyed how the author made the story focus on how strong true love can be if you let it. Heather Rainier again proves what an amazing author she is with her 16th novel in her Divine Creek Series. Ms. Rainier is able to keep her tales fresh and make her fans salivate for more while keeping us in touch with the series favorites. Oh and she’s really great at making her fans hate a character so much we swear at our e-readers.

Again, I applaud the authors recent addition to her ever expanding series and personally I hope to never see it end!

Luna Riyan dreams of a life without violence, degradation, and vile sex, a life unlike all that she has ever known. She has been planning to escape when she has enough saved, but when she is told her prized virginity will be sold to the highest bidder, she knows she can’t wait any longer. After nearly being killed by the man obsessed with her, she finds herself aboard the spacecraft of three very big, very fearsome warriors.

Erak, Genet, and Raimi are princes in search of females to carry their future heirs. The brothers fear nothing and expect compliance in all things. But things do not turn out quite as they expected. They never thought for a moment that their mate would be the same female, or that she would be a tiny human. They will show her that killing their enemies isn’t the only thing they are good at. The only problem is that their mate is traumatized from her past on an ugly planet where prostitution and slavery are rife. She is afraid and reluctant to give them what they want … to possess her completely.

Luna Riyan has lived a hard life, and she’s ready to have her freedom. When things go badly she runs onto the first ship off her dry and dusty planet, only to realize that it’s the ship of the very men that she found so fascinating back on her planet.

Erak, Genet and Raimi are all strong and very Alpha type men, princes on their home planet. They didn’t plan on sharing a mate but they are all drawn to Luna and find themselves very willing to share Luna if it means they can keep her.

Luna fights the idea of submitting to the three warriors because she wants her freedom and is afraid that being their mate means that she will never know the freedom she has always dreamed of. I liked that Luna didn’t immediately jump on board with the idea of mating all three warriors that she took her time and actually thought it out. It gave it a bit more of a realistic edge. Ms. Snow is known for her edgy and sexy erotic romances and this one is on par with her others. It’s full of sexy scenes and I really enjoyed the differences in the men and they way they spend time with Luna.

I recommend this story to fans of erotic sci-fi romance. It’s full of enough advanced technology, unique sexy scenes and still enough familiarity with that it’s not too strange to the senses. It’s a very easy to follow premise and story and very entertaining.

Having a mate can be a pain. Having three…now that’s unheard of…

Gypsy volunteered to become a vampire, but she had no idea just what she’d agreed to do. As a human, she’d had her pick of willing males to warm her bed. As a creature of the night, she’s striking out.

Until she meets Kendall. He knows what she is and doesn’t care. He’s loved her since he met her, but he had no idea just how complicated her life truly was. Her protectors refuse to leave her side. But what if he wants them on his side, too?

Allan and Todd are mates, plain and simple. Gypsy is in their charge. Period. Until they start to see her not as a problem, but a sexy solution complete with an adorable human thrown in for fun.

Can they come together as a foursome or will they destroy everything they’ve built in the name of passion?

Until the Night is Wendi Zwaduk’s long awaited follow up to her first vampire story, My Immortal. This one features the sister of the first book’s heroine, and a trio of hot and sexy men.

Gypsy volunteered to become a vampire. After all, she was all about lots of hot fun and nightlife, and she couldn’t wait for the lust and hot sex with even hotter guys. But so far, she was alone, hungry and horny, and had no idea what being a vampire was all about. The two hotties she was lusting after, Todd and Allan, didn’t pick up on the flirting she was doing, and she couldn’t understand why every time she was near either of them, she heard the word ‘mate’ in her head. When she walks in on the two of them making love in the storeroom of the bar they all work at, she is more confused than ever. When her gorgeous human neighbor, Kendall comes by, catching her at her lowest point ever, he offers her his body and his blood. When she accepts his offer, once again the voice says he is her mate. But before these four can come to terms with the fact that all four are meant to be together, a menace from the past threatens to take their happiness before it can get started.

I like this world Ms. Zwaduk has built, filled with equal parts passion and danger, lust and bloodlust. Her characters are strong, well developed and likable, and I was drawn into this early on, wanting to see how these four resolved their issues, and how they handled the threat to their happiness that Tania poses.

Gypsy is a wonderful mix of sass and innocence, a new vampire who has no idea about what life should be like. I liked her determination to embrace her undead life, and sympathized with her loneliness and confusion. She needs someone, some vampire, to show her the ropes and let her know what is happening. She is confused, because she wants both Todd and Allan, and after catching them ‘in the act’, she is more turned on than she has ever been. When Kendall comes to her place, she want to be with him, but still wants Todd and Allan. I enjoyed the ‘will they all or won’t they’ aspect in this. I knew they would, but wanted to see if it would be more than a passing thing.

Todd and Allan have been mates for one hundred years, and love each other intensely. They are strong and loyal, and are surprised when both develop strong feelings for Gypsy, and hear the Goddess declare her their mate as well. I loved the way these two were so honest about their relationship, and I enjoyed their surprise as each admitted to wanting Gypsy in their bed and their lives. When Kendall enters the picture, once more getting the approval from the Goddess, these two are stunned, but willing to add him to their expanding family. The verbal and mental conversations are funny, charming and sassy in turn, and the strength of all four characters shines through.

When Ms. Zwaduk ventures into the bedrooms, the action heats up, and there are some delightful combinations of two, three and eventually all four get in on the action. There is danger in the person of Tania, who was Allan’s maker, and how these four deal with the threat shows their dedication to each other, and their desire to build a life, or rather, an undead life together. I think the exchange between Todd and Allan says it best, when Todd says ’Gypsy is our girl, and I can’t live without you.’ And Todd replies ‘I can’t be dead without you.’ I just love that exchange, and it shows the slightly warped sense of humor that Wendi Zwaduk sneaks into her books. This is the perfect novella to heat up an evening, when time is short and you need a hot and quick bit of vampire love.
