No wicked wenches or wild rampages…it’s been centuries since Mordr the Berserker was turned into a Vangel-a Viking Vampire Angel-as punishment for his sin of wrath, and he’s been frustrated ever since. It’s not so bad being stuck in modern-day Las Vegas. What better place to slay Lucipires, or demon vampires, than the original Sin City. But then Mordr Sigurdsson’s mission is expanded to a new assignment: protect lust-worthy Miranda Hart.

Miranda’s well-ordered life turned into chaos when she unexpectedly inherited her late cousin’s five children. Now, her cousin’s dangerous husband is about to be paroled, and she needs a miracle to keep them all safe. That miracle arrives on her doorstep in the form of a very buff, handsome man with a very strange name. Mordr wants nothing to do with a red-haired wench or children. Miranda wants nothing to do with gorgeous hunk who claims to be a Viking.

As Miranda and Mordr give in to temptation, they must decide if they fit in each other’s worlds-before their enemies close in on them.

A soft heart will surely get ensnared in this latest escapade from Ms. Hill. This is a very busy book with so many elements to engage the senses; it was hard to put down. I’m predisposed to liking the books in this series because of the sheer novelty of Viking warrior vangels- vampires who have to earn their wings. But each man has the job of making me respect him has a hero and a heroine has the task of redeeming the wayward man while showing me a woman who is strong enough to do so.

Mordr is a man who had the unthinkable happen to him when he was human. He lost his family. The how of it is greatly disturbing and I credit Ms. Hill for choosing the one thing that would haunt any man with a conscience. It was therefore completely believable to me that this trauma would affect the rest of his life and unlife. The spike of anger that speared his heart all those centuries ago could only be healed by an equally pivotal moment or event and it comes in the form of Miranda.

Miranda is the heroine who goes from being a single, career-minded woman, to a mother in an instant. As if dealing with kids isn’t challenging enough, their biological father is a whack job who has a criminal bent. What’s a new and frazzled single parent to do? Get a nanny. And the adventure of a lifetime begins.

I liked the sparks that fly between Mordr and Miranda. I liked the kids, their personalities and how everything is woven together. I even laughed about the dog. There is a sweet innocence about it all that survives even when there is depravity and evil intent that tries to complicate their lives in a big way.

Speaking of evil, Jasper and his sexual perversions is back. Because this is a standalone read, the author has to impart upon a new reader just how vile, twisted and disgusting the bad guy is. Since I am well versed in his penchant for depravity after a few books, I skim those parts. They bother me. But a new reader should read them to get a handle on why the vangels are so important and necessary and reading the short shots about Jasper will definitely clue them in. Good MUST win over evil. I won’t accept anything less. Good thing I don’t have to.

One thing bothers me about Mordr – how to say his name. It’s not a big thing but it distracted me a bit. When I tried to Google it, I kept getting references to Lord of the Rings. Not much help. I checked the glossary at the end of the book but there was no help there. I mentally pronounced him More-door, and sometimes More-dra. But no matter what I called him, he sure was a hunky hero.

I liked the growth in each character, their dialogue and their sexy interludes. This story certainly has spice and Ms. Hill used a fair hand in sprinkling the saucy bits where they did the most good. I had a lot of fun reading those scenes.

There is a lot of action, drama and suspense. I kept waiting for one of the bad guys to fulfill his destiny and was surprised to find that someone else was first in line. I was actually kind of glad of that but still, he does have the lemon taint but it never seemed to be acknowledged or mentioned except for the once. It makes me wonder if he’ll be a recurring bad guy. I hope not – I think he could be redeemed. Not as a hero but at least a man who could be turned to the right path. If he’s never reintroduced, then it’s a missed hanging thread.

What isn’t left hanging is the happily ever after. The last two paragraphs had me sniffling in a good way. It was an effective ‘awwww’ moment and it made me happy because it was the perfect complete wrap up to a well written story.

Kiss of Wrath is another winner with a lot of reasons to applaud Ms. Hill’s storytelling prowess. It’s highly entertaining, vibrant and fun. There were moments I gasped, I laughed and giggled and other times I just melted. Of course then there were parts that gave me the willies. Then there was the loving between Mordr and Miranda; their romance was wonderful to watch grow. This is a well told, delightful and exciting story that I’m thrilled to recommend to readers of paranormal romantic suspense.

No sooner did Ben recover from the tragic death of his sister than his wound is ripped open again. Will history repeat itself with his brother-in-law’s new wife?

As soon as I read the blurb for this novella, I couldn’t wait to find out more. The science fiction themes are strong, but the character development is even more pronounced. While it took me a little while to get to know all of the characters well, I was surprised by how much I figured out about them once the plot was given a chance to simmer. This is the kind of tale that requires some investment early on, but every ounce of effort poured into understanding what is happening was richly rewarded for this reader.

The first few scenes were somewhat confusing for me due to the number of characters who were being introduced at the same time that so many inexplicable things are happening. The pacing in the remainder of the plot was even, but I did find it a little too fast in the beginning due to how much the author expects his audience to figure out in an extremely short amount of time.

With that being said, I am a big fan of stories like this one that require you to think. Mr. Maus knows how to strike that delicate balance between explaining what on earth just happened and giving the reader a chance use his or her own mind to pull together the most subtle clues. It is this ability of his that makes me quite curious to see what he will come up with next.

Machines of the Little People is a complicated, thought-provoking, intelligent ride that I didn’t want to end. It’s long enough to cover all of the bases, but short enough to read in one sitting for dedicated science fiction fans. Either way, this is a book worth sampling.

Can bondage save a marriage? Once Nick uncovers Laura’s hidden desire for BDSM, there’s no going back. Laura craves his touch, but Master Nick wants more than her body. He demands her total submission.

Laura can only find the excitement she so desperately craves between the covers of the latest BDSM novel she reads alone in their bed. Then one night Nick, her loving, cater-to-her-every-whim, vanilla sex husband discovers her hidden library. To her everlasting surprise, he decides their anniversary getaway is the perfect time to turn her fantasies into reality.
Before he can put his plan into action, Nick must figure out how to tell his wife she’s actually married to a Dom. More than that, Nick is also part owner of DiscipliNation, a successful chain of kink clubs and an erotic toy manufacturing company. Can he dominate his lovely ‘ballbreaker of the boardroom’ wife—while keeping his balls intact?

Laura’s treacherous body revels in Nick’s domination. As a natural submissive, she thrives under his strict, unyielding command. He trains her to respond to his every touch and the line between pain and pleasure blurs— so much pleasure, she’s lost in it. Laura craves his firm hand, yet his sin of omission shakes her trust. She willingly offers her body, but guards her heart. Quickly, she learns Master Nick isn’t just a hotter-than-hell, leather clad, flogger wielding alter ego. Dom isn’t a role he slips on like a mask. It runs in his blood, defines his personality and once unleashed, there’s no going back. Master Nick won’t play at D/s. The gift of her body isn’t enough. He demands her total submission.

Bondage Anniversary is the story of Nick and Laura, a married couple who both work hard in their respected professions. Laura also loves to read, and her preferred material is erotic romance, particularly BDSM stories of Domination and submission. Nick discovers her store of books, reads them all and then is stunned by this new side of his wife’s desires.

Nick and Laura have always stuck to a vanilla sex life but with this new knowledge Nick plans a weekend away to dig deeper and go further than they ever have before – all the time wearing his Master Nick hat!

The interesting thing about Nick’s character, as we discover, is he is a closet Dom.  He has been involved in a chain of BDSM clubs “DiscipliNation” in a professional capacity at work and – excuse the pun – has learnt the ropes!

Laura is a feisty one to handle; as much as she craves submission she struggles with balancing that with the high-powered job she has. The author handles these insecurities really well and I’m sure many women who find themselves in this position would relate to these emotions.

I enjoyed the flow of the story and certainly the characters were hot and sexy. At times I felt like Nick was reading from a How To BDSM Manual, he was so careful to say everything correct and be sure that safety was the priority (which of course it is) but sometimes it was too smooth. I would have liked to see him a little unsure or struggle just once.  This was, after all, his first time in a Dom role with Laura.

The sex scenes were off-the-scale steamy. Ms Carson sure writes `em hot, much to my delight. So if you’re looking for quality erotica that explores a couples newfound BDSM relationship and all the physical and emotion tangles and pleasures that surrounds that, Bondage Anniversary is a definite read for you!

Do all damsels in distress really need a prince in shining armor to save them or are they capable of getting out of troubles on their own? No, damsels do not need a prince, but they do need support and somebody who believes in them.

All I Want is You is a classic romance novel, with an interesting plot and HEA ending. But there are several things that made this story special for me. First, the characters have a tragic past and both of them lost someone very dear to them, they are scared and very cautious, but they are not dark and gloomy. Second, the message of the story is wonderful and empowering: a girl can feel safe and have great relationship without being saved by the knight in shining armor.

Besides being positive, the main characters are both magnificent, although I liked Christy better than Jack. Christy is so realistic and her development and growth amazed me. At the beginning she was a girl trying to find an easy way out from her financial situation, only to realize that it won’t work that way. By the end of the story she became strong and independent, just the way a modern heroine should be. On the other hand, Jack’s character did not undergo such a dramatic transformation, but his character also changed by the end of the story.

The only thing that diminished my full enjoyment of this story is Christy’s and Jack’s (but especially Jack’s) inner dialogues i.e. their thoughts and doubts. If only they are a bit shorter the story would have flowed much more nicely.

It is also important to mention that All I Want is You features a secondary romance. The secondary romance is well incorporated into the main one. It doesn’t dominate the story, instead it complements it nicely.

Overall I enjoyed All I Want is You. There were some slower parts, but I think this is a story well worth reading.

No one wants to feel like someone else’s dirty little secret, but that’s exactly what Raven’s childhood was like. Now that she’s an adult, will she finally be able to piece together all of the clues about her past?

The secondary characters dragged me through a wide range of emotions. Raven’s adoptive family is as secretive as they are dysfunctional. The unhealthy relationships among them were sometimes expressed in incredibly subtle ways that made the plot feel even more realistic as it unfolded.

It would have been helpful to have more information about who Raven is as an individual. Her curiosity about and raw grief over not having any information about her origins adds some depth to her character, but I had trouble figuring out what kind of person she was outside of these burning questions. The brief glimpses of her growing identity as a person of color were fascinating and could have easily been expanded to illuminate more of her personality.

Some of the most absorbing sections of this book chronicle how the upper middle class white families in Raven’s town thought of other races during the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s. The seemingly slow progression of the types of words they used to discuss black people as well as how much social contact was considered acceptable made me marvel at how much can change in a generation. From one year to the next very little seems to change, yet when viewed with a wider lens everything shifts much more quickly than I ever would have guessed had my knowledge of this era ended in 1950.

The romantic elements never quite seemed to fit in with the rest of the plot. I had trouble understanding why the characters involved in it were attracted to one another and would have liked to have more information about what they saw in one another before they fell in love. Both characters were intriguing as individuals, I was just never able to see the spark between them.

There were a few things that didn’t make any sense to me in the beginning of this story. At first I wondered if I’d misread the possible interpretations of these scenes. Once Ms. Sayles began pulling everything together, though, I was impressed by how many clues she’d tucked into small snippets of conversation among other places.

The Adoption Conspiracy is a good choice for anyone in the mood for something dramatic and historical. The mystery is nearly as compelling as everything else that is going on in the mid 20th century for these characters!

Sonia Davenport has dreams of coordinating and planning special events. In a mad rush to save the dinner, Sonia and Tony realize their attraction to each other when things heat up in the kitchen. However, Tony has to convince Sonia that he wants more than just an extra set of hands in his restaurant—he wants her to stay the night so he can convince her to stay for good.

When Sonia’s boss asked her to organize a dinner party for a highly select group of important shareholders, she knew this was her big chance. A personal assistant, she knew she could be much more of an asset than a simple copy-girl and coffee acquirer. Months of careful planning later, she’d booked and decorated the restaurant Mangia carefully and all was ready. The chef and part-owner of Mangia, Tony Mancinni, was a delicious sight and great help to her. But on the big night when the food order deliveries were mixed up Sonia and Tony need to work together in the kitchen, and things get a little steamy.

As a massive fan of cooking shows and cozy mysteries that involve cooking, I found this chemistry-heavy romance set in the restaurant kitchen a lovely read. The characters are interesting and fresh and kept me turning the pages. I must admit, I found Tony’s diatribe to his poor delivery person a little over the top and embarrassing. While his anger at the mistake at such a critical point was understandable, I felt perhaps the writer had decided his Italian temper might have gotten the best of him, or maybe he’s just a volatile chef. His soft spot for Sonia, however, kept any negative characteristics mostly under wraps. Even with this temperamental outburst it all somehow seemed to mesh well and create a partly funny, partly sexy romance that will have you salivating.

I found Sonia’s distraction while she and Tony make the Italian wedding soup also quite amusing. I thought the fact she could seem to worry her job was on the line but still thinking about “sucking something” simultaneously not quite realistic. Sonia might have no real talent in the kitchen, but with Tony to guide her she willingly follows where his hands (and ass and lips) lead. While there was plenty of chemistry between Tony and Sonia, they certainly burn up the sheets later on.  The attraction between Sonia and Tony though felt solid and believable to me and the sex was steamy and well written.

This is a well-cooked story and sure to appeal to some readers. If you can check your brain at the door, grab a glass of wine or bubbly and relax enough to just go with the flow, this is a story I think you should give a try. There’s plenty of chemistry and raunchy sex and enough good ingredients I think plenty of people should give it a taste.

When Technical Sergeant Chase Carver loses his best friend and brother in arms he never imagines a greater gain could be waiting just around the corner. At least not until he gets a Christmas card from an unexpected source–the bubbly little daughter of the man his best friend gave his life to protect.

Chase’s exchanges with Abigail go on far past Christmas, and lift the seemingly never-ending heaviness that has weighted his heart. It’s no exaggeration to say the cards, letters, and care packages saved his life. Then he finds out why his care packages are so well put together.

That is why we’ve come up with a list of factors That Affect Penis Health: List begins online pharmacy sildenafil with unprotected sex, which contracts STDs. Symptoms consist of tingling, stinging and burning sensations in the upper right or left the abdominal area. viagra uk online The data suggests that in the past ten years, Georgia has set the sample of viagra rule that 16 year olds should complete a 30 hour class before they can apply for certification from the American Board of Urology. http://www.offscriptband.com/ cialis samples IGNOU B.Ed qualifies a student to become a teacher in a school. Abigail’s Aunt, Melanie, is staggeringly beautiful and in a bit of a mess, herself. In fact, she seems to be in dire need of a hero. Fortunately, Chase is more than ready to take on the job.

Technical Sergeant Chase Carver had not just lost a man during this para-rescue, but his best friend. Ritchie died protecting a Green Beret called Bowman. Months later, Abigail Bowman – the six year old daughter of the Green Beret – starts sending Chase regular letters and care packages. Abigail and her “Mommy Melanie” helped save his sanity not just with their caring and thoughtful gifts, but with their regular – and wonderfully normal – letters. Finally discharged, Chase decides to say thank you in person.

There’s a gradual progression as Melanie and Chase get to know each other though Chase’s letters with Abigail. It took me a while to warm up to Melanie. She’s been in a very long, quite unhealthy relationship. While it’s true she’s finally seen the light about how poorly her ex has treated her – while she admits she’s known this for ages but stuck her head in the sand – had me not feeling very sympathetic toward her plight at all. This is countered, though, by the fact Melanie clearly dotes on Abigail, and can see Chase for the wonderful gentleman he is.

For most of the book I wasn’t at all sure it was an erotic romance. Not something I’d share with my granny, this still doesn’t quite make it for an erotic romance to my mind. There’s one very steamy necking scene in the middle and a very descriptive sex scene right at the end. Certainly not your sweet style of romance, this also isn’t hot and heavy enough for me to personally label it “erotic”. The set-up and beginnings are very sweet. Letters to a man seeing military action, and the addition of sweetness Abigail brought with her childish enthusiasm and optimism had me initially wondering if there’d ever be some steam. But when Chase and Melanie come face to face the heat is slowly turned up. Their attraction is mutual and instant. I could believe this speedy attraction as there had been many months of letters exchanged between them, so they all knew a lot about each other before actually meeting. While they’re both seriously attracted, the lack of follow through on their chemistry had me eagerly wanting more between them. When that final scene finally came through – it was worth the wait!

I also found much of the plot to be over-the top. Chase’s family welcomed Melanie and Abigail with enthusiasm and open arms – which I found lovely – but they also promptly went about solving every problem the heroine had. While a part of me was charmed by this, I also found it to be quite improbable. Families help each other, yes, but not to the extent of getting new housing, new jobs *and* a new car all in the space of a few short days. The modern woman in me also felt a bit upset that Melanie not only didn’t solve a single issue on her own, but she also couldn’t manage her clingy and abusive ex-boyfriend. I don’t mind reading about strong alpha males and heroines who let them muscle in on their lives – but I do want to read about heroines who can maintain some control over their own lives and deal with at least a few of their own problems.

I feel this book really might not suit some readers. For myself while I was disappointed with some of the issues, the characters were interesting and kept my attention. I thought the primary characters Chase, Abigail and Melanie were well drawn, three dimensional, complex and interesting. They all had great interactions with each other and with Chase’s wider family. I’m not sure everyone would be satisfied with this story – but I enjoyed myself while reading it.

Lucille had been sheltered from the rest of the paranormal world, but Jay changed all of that in an instant. She knew that there was others out there, and also those who wanted to see the all dead, but she had not realized they were much closer than she ever thought.

Lucille is an intriguing character. She and her brother, Drew have lead a pretty sheltered life thus far. Their parents taught them only the bare basics about being a vampire, and protecting themselves before leaving them at what is considered a young age. This made Lucille automatically go into big sister mode and do whatever it took to provide and protect herself and her brother. This is something that I found endearing since she was willing to do what even their parents weren’t willing to. It also forced her to not be able to live her life, or even fully understand how to. While Jay may have sent her life into a whirlwind it was actually perfect timing, since he proves to be the one thing that can possibly keep them alive.

I have been following and reading author Lynne Connolly’s stories for years now, and Jay was exactly what I expected from one of her heroes. The author has always had a way of writing the right balance of burly and logical in her heroes. In other words, Jay is capable of protecting Lucille both using his physical abilities as well as mental. This balance is something you don’t always find in stories, so I find it refreshing.

The author clearly has an idea of what her paranormal creatures are like, and sticks to it. While this can be entertaining, I sometimes wish there was something unique about her various series. They all seem to relate to one another, and intertwine with one another. This makes it easy for me to follow as a reader, since I have read previous stories, but it can leave me wanting a bit more. I believe that if you are new to this author’s work, you can read this story and feel right at home.

This story really incorporates all types of plotlines. I have the romantic development, personal developments, and the conflict that kept me entertained. There are even a few twists, turns and kinks that shocked me and at times made me a bit giddy. I don’t want to ruin too much of the story, so I would just say pick it up and try it out yourself because there’s a good chance you will like it as much as I did and won’t be disappointed.

Seventeen months ago she was one of the CIA’s super agents, facing down dangerous terrorists with her partner and lover Conrad Flynn. After a mission was blown and Conrad died, Julia was yanked back to Langley and given a new identity. She is now the Counterterrorism Center’s top analyst, spending her days at CIA headquarters and her nights in her boss’s bed. Her former life as a secret agent has been sealed off with her heart.

Former SEAL Conrad Flynn—codename Solomon—has his own secrets.

For starters, he’s not dead. Going under the deepest cover possible, he faked his own death to save Sheba’s life. Now he must tear that new life apart and ask for her help to hunt down a traitor inside the Agency’s walls.

Is Conrad a rogue operative or a jealous ex-lover looking for revenge?

Julia must risk everything for the man who still holds her heart in order to decide. Drawn into a web of seduction and betrayal, she is forced to play the spy game of her life, flushing out an Agency mole and stopping a hostage situation using nothing more than her iPod and her intuition.

 Excerpt from OPERATION SHEBA

The man sat perfectly still in the semidarkness watching the woman sleep. Only a sheet covered the slender body on the queen-size bed. Long hair stretched out in waves on her pillow, and he tamped down the urge to reach out and touch it. He watched the rhythmic rise and fall of her chest and slowed his own breathing to match. Resting his gun, a suppressed Heckler & Koch, on his right thigh, he wished he had a cigarette to calm his nerves.

Cigarettes, like his true identity, had been given up years ago, but every once in awhile he caught himself craving the feel of the stick between his lips, the smoke curling around his face. At thirty-two, he’d lost track of all the things he’d given up to become the man he was at this moment. He’d played too many roles, led too many lives, losing his sense of duty and fairness only to find himself becoming the enemy he was supposed to search out and destroy.

But he’d never lost track of her.

She continued to sleep deeply, a sight he had rarely witnessed in their five-plus years together. Her demeanor when awake was calm and unshakable. She was analytical and calculating, sizing up any given situation and devising two or three options to keep herself, and him, alive. But in sleep, nightmares tormented her. Nightmares that gripped her so hard she would cry out, making his blood run cold. He would pull her close and murmur reassurances in her ear, stroke her face and rock her in his arms. Anything to scatter the demons that terrorized her mind and raped her soul.

Seeing her at peace here in the early morning hours gave him comfort. I shouldn’t have come. I should have stayed dead to her, left her in whatever conciliation she has found. But he needed her and the hand was already dealt. If he failed he would be dead, for real this time, and someone else would come for her. He couldn’t fail. Her life depended on it as much as his did.

A memory of their escape from Berlin the first time he’d used her knowledge of explosives surfaced in his mind. After he had detonated the bomb and eliminated the warehouse, he had pulled her into a hotel in the Mitte District and paid for a shabby room. There they had spent those first few hours after the explosion making love under the goose-down quilt, needing the affirmation they both still lived to wipe out the pain they shared. Hours later, after he had slept and she had stared out the window at the stagnant Spree River, they wired a car and drove to Tegel Airport. Both had changed their appearance and, traveling together, never raised a single eyebrow as they passed the airport’s security and boarded a plane to Venice. Only then in the safety of the sky did exhaustion take over and afford her sleep.

The woman stirred, bringing her legs up into a fetal position. The room was starting to gray with the approaching sunrise. Her hand slipped under her absent lover’s pillow and he smiled, the familiarity of her movement sending ripples of anticipation rushing through his veins. He struggled to keep himself from whispering her name in the silent room. Pulling himself back a step from the edge, he took a deep breath, slid his gun into the waistband at the small of his back and willed himself to be patient and savor the moment. After all, he had waited seventeen months for this.

Julia Torrison sensed two things upon wakening. Michael was gone and there was another unidentifiable human presence in her room.

Maintaining her deep, even breathing, she kept her body motionless as if still in sleep to give her mind a few more precious minutes to filter through the probable identity of her visitor.

The options were cataloged in her brain. Enemies of her country and of her own making were widespread. But who these days cared whether she lived or died? She was simply an analyst now, lost in the windowless, cubicle-induced maze of the CIA’s Counterterrorism Center. From her four-by-six bunker of space, she did what they asked her to—analyze terrorists. Fieldwork was behind her now. Years of training and self-discipline, invisible orders and covert operations lost in the blink of an eye, in the explosion of a bomb, in the abrupt and complete silence of her partner.

No enemy could have found her easily. The CIA had created a new identity for her, Abigail Quinn, and plunked her in their ultimate safe house at Langley. She had thought she would go mad from the sterile confinement of the CTC office, but filtering through the endless pools of information about the disciplined madmen trying to bring America to its knees had actually pacified her. It had become meditation, freeing her brain from the racing thoughts about him. About what she could have, should have done to save him. The guilt for still being alive while he was dead gnawed at her, especially in the dark hours of the night when Michael’s hands reached for her instead of his. But through the work, and because of Michael’s constant reinforcement, she was finally becoming Abigail Quinn. Her past self was doggedly being sealed off, layer of brick over layer of brick, never to be seen again.

Perhaps her visitor was simply a thief who had watched Michael leave with Pongo, his Rottweiler, for their daily run to the lake. However, no casual burglar could have made it past the posted guard at the gate or the home’s eleven-thousand-dollar security system.

Michael’s pillow was still warm where his head had been minutes earlier. Her hand wrapped slowly around the hidden Beretta 92F 9-mm stored there and she felt the thrill of the hunted turned hunter. People underestimated her because she was a woman and because her characteristic quietness was often taken for ignorance.

It was always their mistake.

Julia willed her heart not to pump out of her chest as she eased the safety off the gun. It really didn’t matter who the intruder was…he was in for a big surprise.

I’ve always loved the work of Paige Tyler. It’s guaranteed to bring a smile and the heat. This book was no exception. The writing is smooth and the characters intriguing. Once I started reading, I couldn’t put it down.

This is a solid book. The characters, Ivy and Landon are both strong. Neither of them will back down, but it’s a good thing. I could look up to Ivy and drool over Landon. Landon is a good guy. He’s almost perfect, despite being so strong and somewhat bullheaded. I liked him. Ivy is charming and her chemistry with Landon is off the charts. I liked that they didn’t think they could like each other, but could deal with each other. That definitely ramped up the tension and excitement factor for me. I also liked that Ivy isn’t your usual shifter. She’s not a human who turns into something, but rather, she can use the cat qualities she possesses in the clinch. She’s kind of like what every crazy cat lady wants to be–a cat like her cats, but human, too.

The romance does move fast in this book, so keep that in mind, but do read. It’s worth the ride and a fun ride, indeed.
