Part-time waitress and student Brooke Munroe lived what she considered a fairly normal life. The kind of life that was predictable and safe. Until she met Blake Hawke.

Native to the small, Northern California coastal town of Darien, Blake was the kind of guy who seemed to have everything going for him: wealthy background, charming smile, calm confidence, and the good looks to match. The strangest thing Brooke noticed about him upon first inspection was that he genuinely seemed to enjoy the dreary rainy weather. But, as the semester pushes on, Brooke comes to discover that Blake has a secret. A big, ancient secret.

Everything changes when Blake’s little sister is attacked by an enemy no one even knew they had. And Brooke quickly finds herself thrown into the thick of an ages-old family feud that could change her life forever; if it doesn’t kill her first.

How can Brooke and Blake fight an enemy they know absolutely nothing about?

Brooke is a very easy character to like. She’s hard working, polite, independent, and strong. Between her college schedule and her shifts at the diner, she has very little time for friends or romance. Brooke is friendly with everyone, yet I get the impression that she doesn’t make truly close friends easily. She is very guarded. She seems happy enough with her life, and yet I get the impression that she is a little lonely.

This way you can keep your sexual performance and erection. buy tadalafil in australia There can be physical, mechanical, interpersonal or emotional problems and these should be resolved to prevent dissatisfaction and confusion in conjugal life. cheap discount viagra When Brooke meets Blake, she thinks she’s finally met a nice “normal” guy. Her past boyfriends were nothing but trouble. I have to admit that I was surprised to learn that Brooke normally went for bad boy types. She seems like such a level-headed individual that it was hard for me to picture her dating some of the guys she describes. Though Brooke is immediately attracted to Blake, she isn’t in a hurry to rush into a relationship. Brooke is determined to take things slowly and get to know Blake a bit first.

Blake is definitely a popular young man in his home town. He is smart, good looking, and extremely loyal to his family. Blake radiates a calm and confident vibe most of the time, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover that he’s a little shy too. He finds Brooke attractive, but is hesitant to go beyond friendship. He wants to be sure that Brooke is the right woman for him, and I admire his patience. When Brooke finds herself in trouble, Blake opens his heart and home to her in a way that she’s never experienced before. Blake’s gentle spirit is very touching.

I must admit that I found Brooke and Blake’s relationship to be a bit awkward at first. When they were assigned as partners for class, I definitely got more of a friend vibe from them rather than a romantic one, especially over the course of their first few meetings. Ms. Wulf kept saying that Brooke and Blake were attracted to each other, but I didn’t have any sense of real chemistry between them, at least not at first. As Brooke and Blake spent more time together, I gradually began to sense a shift in the dynamic of their connection. Considering the slow start of their relationship, I was surprised at how quickly things became serious between Brooke and Blake once they made the move from friendship to dating. However, I do feel that they are on the path to a well deserved happy ending

I would have liked the secondary characters to be a bit more rounded. Everyone in Deep Waters seems to be either really good or really bad with nothing in between. Consequently the other characters and their interactions didn’t strike me as very realistic. Despite this issue, I enjoyed getting to know Brooke and Blake and am looking forward to having a deeper understanding of the other members of Blake’s family in future installments of the series.

Blake’s secret is pretty easy to figure out and he reveals it to Brooke very early in their relationship. I found his openness surprising because his secret isn’t just his own. His entire family is involved. I am definitely intrigued by Blake’s powers as well as those of the other members in his family. Even more interesting, there is another family lurking in the shadows with powers just as strong. Blake’s family knows nothing about the ancient feud between the two families, but if they want to survive, they are going to have to learn fast.

Deep Waters has a very satisfying ending, but it is also very open ended. I have a lot of unanswered questions about Blake’s family, the enemy they face, and some of the people in their hometown. I plan on picking up the next book in the series very soon in order to learn more. I have a feeling that Ms. Wulf has only just begun to expose the conflict between these supernatural families.

I enjoyed reading Deep Waters. Ms. Wulf has crafted a tale of romance and danger that left me hungry for more. Readers looking for a unique paranormal should give Deep Waters a try.

In a twist of fate, a woman flees purgatory and jumps into a newly vacated body. Now she has a brand-new life as Micah Munroe and a whole lot of questions left unanswered.

Sully knows she’s an imposter because he reaped the soul of the real Micah a week ago. He suspects she might be a misplaced shadow, what he calls vengeful spirits. He’ll stop at nothing to find the truth and send her back to purgatory where she belongs. What he didn’t bargain on was how his body would react to hers or how powerful the white light within her is.

When a powerful shadow and her horde of angry spirits kidnaps Sully’s best friend, they must work together to get him back. Fighting their feelings for each other isn’t half as difficult as fighting the army of shadows bent on starting a war with the living.

Michelle Clay’s novel starts with death and ends with life, and love. For most novels, that is backwards, but most novels do not include Death in their star cast, or Grimms, or Reapers (note the separation here – they are not one and the same).

Micah (aka Kelly) jumps into another body but this is not a typical possession. She grows to love the people in Micah’s life and makes more of it than Micah ever did – fitting in does not seem to be her forte. Her character is steady in its reckless attitude to life, if lacking in detail. However this is explained by the body jump and resulting lack of memory.

Her fellow protagonist, Sully, has a detailed background and solid reasons not to get involved with modern women. He has been hurt before, as all bad boys who are soft on the inside have been. This may be a little stereotypical but the paranormal aspect of the story and his undead state brings new life to this stereotype. And, let’s admit, it’s a stereotype because it’s a draw. Sully is magnetic to a romance reader who wants a happy ending and for both partners to have their lives improved or “fixed”.

The dialogue is short, pointy, full of emotion, character and therefore realistic. Both protagonists are solid characters and have no glaring defects.

The plot itself is fast paced enough to keep a reader interested, though it could be a little faster if needed. The main crisis of the story revolves around a young girl. She grows dark after her death and becomes a power to be reckoned with. As a reaper, Sully must deal with this and, with her new paranormal connections, Micah helps, but Death is an odd presence here. He helps once, because it seems he has to, but refuses to help again – even though this may be a quicker and less dangerous solution. He is posed as a workaholic who feels minutes away from their job throws everything out of whack. With the importance of his job, this is believable…but then he makes a few emotional visits into the world. This confuses me. If he is moved enough to do this, he should be moved enough to help with a crisis.

However, this does not upset the core of the story for me. There is back story after back story to this novel. There is more to be learned in Death’s background, and Micah’s, and this could well be revealed in sequels. Perhaps there, this discrepancy will be addressed.

In the mean time, I am enamored with this new world and its cast of ghostly and undead friends. I am also smiling rather goofily at the hot, risky romance between a bad boy and a risk taker. It is wild, crazy and could well be unstable but it satisfies the romantic itch and the sex scenes are hot as hell. Clay’s hand has crafted a great bedside or bath-side story here with a jolt of fresh paranormal juiciness running through it. I can’t wait to read more from her and uncover some of the mysteries behind these characters I have grown so close to.

So much for Keegan Monroe’s first day off after a long undercover assignment. One minute he’s relaxing over coffee, the next his cheek is kissing concrete. Question is, is the gorgeous man on top of him his savior, or the one who took a potshot at his head?

With Keegan’s oath to protect and serve putting him squarely in the crosshairs of a murderer, now the question is, who is protecting whom?

Brennan McGuire is a man who struggles with everyday tasks, including just being able to order a fancy coffee and knowing the right amount of money to give, but even a traumatic brain injury can’t stop his instincts from kicking in and pushing the very attractive Keegan Monroe out of harm’s way.

Ms. McKenna hits the ground running with the action and the intense attraction between Keegan and Brennan. Keegan is the perfect man to help Brennan unravel the memories from before and they’re definitely very compatible in private.

I loved the suspense aspect to the story and while I suspected who the villain might be, Ms. McKenna kept me guessing and I think that’s a mark of a great suspense story, when I can’t guess who the villain is before the big reveal. The love story between Keegan and Brennan evolves from a high stress situation but does so in a way that I was easily enchanted with the idea of them living happily ever after. This is a story that I highly recommend to fans of romantic suspense stories with a lot of spice.

What would you do to protect your family? For Aden the answer is anything.

Aden Gale has always protected the boys he chose as his. Gallen Theos refuses to become another one of Aden’s projects. He might have been bespelled by his father but he was Aden’s mate and he refused to take anything less than a full partnership. If the cool-eyed killer thought he could wiggle away for Gallen’s own safety, well he had a lot to learn about the tenacity of sorcerers.

Aden accepted his role as caretaker to all who needed looking after years ago. No one messes with any of his boys, ever. Gallen refuses to be taken care of, wanting instead to be the one to take care of Aden for a change. Can a contract killer allow himself to be cared for or will he convince Gallen to walk away?

Aden Gale is not your ordinary assassin. He only kills those that need killing. Cautious, careful, and precise, he’s the epitome of cold blooded killer. Until he gets home, that is. It was interesting to see how compartmentalized Aden was. Once he was off the job, he was warm, caring, and even doting at times. It was a bit of a stretch, personality wise, but it was still very nice to see. His reservations into entering a relationship with Gallen were solely based on what he thought best for the sorcerer, not because he felt sorry for himself or because he was being an arrogant jerk. Both of which surprised and delighted me.

Gallen Theos is a bit overenthusiastic for my tastes, but the more you learn about his past, the more you understand why he’s so desperate to make Aden accept being his mate. Despite his age, he acts no older than any of Aden’s ‘sons’ and that made me smile for the most part. Youthful exuberance is often needed when dealing with an older man set in his ways.

I had some mixed emotions about this novella. I liked the characters and the world they lived in was fascinating, but I was a little bit lost at times. That, however, wasn’t a deficit of the author, but my fault in that I hadn’t read the preceding installments in the series. I would definitely recommend reading this series in order, if for no other reason than to keep track of all the characters. Also, I felt like the mating issue was forced. For two thirds of the story, Aden resists Gallen’s insistence that the two were mates and then, almost too suddenly, Aden completely changes his mind. There seemed to be no middle ground between them. Despite this, Aden and Gallen really are made for each other. One is hardened by the world where the other is looking for a second chance, one where he is able to prove himself. Aden can easily build up Gallen and help ease his insecurities while Gallen can melt that hardened exterior Aden carries around. Eventually they will find some middle ground and be an ideal couple.

To Kiss a Killer is a highly emotional, fast paced novel, with a surprise addition I wasn’t expecting. Set in a world of shifters, sorcerers and so much more, I was drawn in and kept hopping with each new critter I met. I wish the ending hadn’t been nearly so abrupt, but overall, still a very enjoyable story.

He takes them to shelter in a weekender cabin and sees a newscast that suggests the woman, Pia Ulmer, kidnapped the baby from its rightful parents and that it is the sole heir of Peru’s wealthiest and most corrupt family. Pia claims that she is the baby’s mother, and Alex doesn’t know what to believe. After turning her in, he continues to struggle with his budding feelings for her and remains unsure of the true story. He becomes more and more involved until finally there is no turning back—lives are on the line. He helps Pia get free from a brutal world that values money over life, and together they devise a plan to reclaim the baby. Just when it looks like they might succeed, they discover an international conspiracy that changes the game entirely.

“I turned you in for kidnapping Freddy,” Alex said. “I punched you because you were trying to kill me.”
“I did not kidnap Frederick. He is my son.”
“As I understand it, he’s also Koenig’s. You figured you could just snatch him away from a man who has all that wealth and power?”
“You said you would help me. Back there—you promised.”
Alex let silence hang between them. Like Brer Rabbit with the tar baby, instead of freeing himself from a god-awful mess, he was getting more entangled. Turning Pia and Frederick over to Koenig had seemed the right thing to do at the time, and a gut reaction to Pia’s situation drove him to free her. He’d promised to help her get Frederick because that seemed the only way to assure her cooperation. Now that reason had begun to reassert itself, he had no idea what to do. Twenty-nine-year-old Jillian Cross refuses to believe that a pair of skinny jeans has led to her untimely demise. Life just isn’t that cruel. But when an overly-enthusiastic attempt at squeezing herself into them leads her to fall and lose consciousness, she is faced with just that possibility. When she awakens with both a bruised ego and a bump on her head, she’s not in her tiny apartment but her childhood bedroom circa 1999-the spring of her senior year in high school. Jillian knows that time travel isn’t logical. But then again, neither was her decision to wear skinny jeans. As she attempts to navigate her way through the halls of Reynolds High, walking the same path and making the same choices she made years before, she knows that any change she makes can have a catastrophic effect on her future. But when she strikes up an unexpected friendship with motorcycle-riding, cigarette-smoking Luke Chambers, can she pretend to be the same shy girl she once was? At least she has her pink sparkly flask to take the edge off. One little change won’t hurt, right?

The central concept of Living Backwards really appealed… and I have to say, did not disappoint. Lots of the fun in this one is the surprises, so this is a very careful review – no spoilers here!

The idea is enthralling and the writing exceptional so, much like the main character Jillian, “I couldn’t look Away!”

Yelling and a spanking isn’t viagra uk always the best solution. She looks at facebook and remembers high school (back when facebook did not exist.) She thinks about links and relationships that don’t matter now…because they weren’t ‘relationships’ back then. On the other hand, she is not now the person she was then.

Jillian is indeed swept backward (and she does ‘know’ as we so hope she would… ) She’s not the ‘shy girl’ any more. Still, while we’re celebrating her return to high school, her snappy knees and her whole new attitude, we are still totally surprised by completely unpredictable events. And Jillian isn’t just hanging out in High School. She has a mission.

The writing is quick and breezy. Okay, Ms. Sweeney employs a fairly ordinary literary device that steps us back in time (or so it seems.) There are moments when the action (or point of view) skips in a way that leaves the reader a trifle confused – yet it sorts itself out and eventually is clear. These are, I must insist, mere trifles.

The banter is witty and situations happen fast. Jillian’s mission reveals so much that was missing in her life – but also, uncovers the needs of more than one friend. The potential romance is not totally unexpected but also, utterly unpredictable. Truly, character development is both excellent and surprising.

Living Backwards is a fun read (with dark moments) as well as a fun take on social media. Do read.

The Greek gods never actually existed. Did they? Sophie Darrow finds she was wrong about that assumption when she’s pulled into the spirit realm, complete with an Underworld, on her first day at college. Adrian, the mysterious young man who brought her there, simply wants her to taste a pomegranate.

Soon, though she returns to her regular life, her mind begins exploding with dreams and memories of ancient times; of a love between two Greeks named Persephone and Hades. But lethal danger has always surrounded the immortals, and now that she’s tainted with the Underworld’s magic, that danger is drawing closer to Sophie.

This is not the usual rehashing of Greek myth in modern terms. It deviates from the main myth so much it creates something new and unique. What if Hades and Persephone loved each other? Ringle re-imagines Greek myth to create this new reality and with it comes a new dimension and facet to the Gods and Goddesses. I was worried this would be a dated idea, something reused beyond passing interest, but I was delightfully wrong.

You should eat two to four servings of vegetables per day. 1 cup of cheap tadalafil pills fresh vegetables, cup of cooked vegetables, 4 ounces of vegetable juice or 2 cups of salad green are excellent ways to increase vegetables in your daily diet. Different types of sexual disorders, such as low libido, vaginal dryness or low sex drive. This http://robertrobb.com/2014/09/ cheap viagra canada female libido enhancement formula uses a combination of exotic herbs have positive effects on the condition. From the start the book surprised me with its modern setting and problems and then continued to excite me with different dimensions. Gunshots and killer cults are not the norm in fantasy fiction but they work here, partly because the prose is so well written. Molly Ringle has a tight grasp of tension and employs it to keep a reader turning pages. I only took one break from the book when sleep blurred the lines. This is an unusual skill.

In addition, the plot is believable, a mixture of old religion and new. Reincarnation, old Gods and love – purposeful Western and Eastern influences. It is the stuff of an endless romance and provides this beautifully.

Sophie, unlike many paranormal heroines of late, does not take the supernatural way out immediately. She thinks things over, decides what is best for her and takes her time to find the truth of what is going on. She is no fan girl flying by the seat of her pants. She is well educated and has a solid background in plants and trade. Even this background is believable and adds to her solid character. The wish for more spice has been mentioned among celebrity chefs, for instance.

The magic unravels slowly, revealing more and more of this other world and past lives as the story goes on but this never drags. The more that is discovered, the more Sophie and her skills fit into this new world and show her belonging. The only issue I would have with the plot and Sophie’s place in it is the quick dismissal of an individual as a suspected informer. I noticed it and logged it in my mind as something more suspect. Perhaps if she was overlooked for realistic reasons or after a more in depth discussion, this would be more believable and add more disbelief to a later crisis.

However, the novel is not faulty. It even has an impact beyond the story for me. It brings new questions about the underworld, shared language and shared minds or knowledge. There is two sides (or more) to every story and every person and Hades is a character which has had a thorough exploration here. He is no longer creepy (after the first few chapters), nor evil. He is just a man interested in things most the world would deem macabre. Is down bad and up good? Who really knows until we have experienced it? It is a very special ability for an author to subtly encourage me to question my beliefs and Ringle has managed it. She opens the afterlife up for open minds to question – not an easy task.

In short, Molly Ringle has crafted an excellent piece of fiction. She fuses a murder mystery vibe of killer cults and disappearances to create a believable tension and downside to the seemingly problem-less new dimension and paranormal reality created. She couples this with a steamy, age old romance which has enough sexual tension for centuries. Then, we have a story – one which encourages me to cuddle under the covers, knees up, and enjoy the spicy details and tentative renewal of passion.

American history teacher Nathan Greene looked at his bulletin board. How did Benedict Arnold become the second president of the United States? And who the heck was Shippen Jefferson? Where were John Adams and John Quincy Adams? Shaken, Greene pulled down his map of the United States. He scanned the map: no major changes.

“Mr. Greene,” Victor Bridges called out. “Tennessee is missing!’

Greene’s jaw dropped. Where Tennessee had once proudly been, there was now “Franklin.”

Had Greene and his high school students inadvertently changed history with their field trip to the Philadelphia of 1776? There had been no such repercussions the previous spring when Greene took his class to Ford’s Theater for the fateful performance of “Our American Cousin” at Ford’s Theater on the evening of April 14, 1865. That spring trip had been such a success that his students fell in love with history and begged for another trip for their junior year.

But somehow the Philadelphia field trip had caused a “butterfly effect” in the historical timeline evicting John Adams and John Quincy from the White House and erasing the prominence of the Adams family from American history. The ghost of Harvard Historian Henry Brooks Adams, great-grandson of John Adams, was pitching a fit and now Greene was facing an inquiry by a panel of dead historians led by Thucydides himself. Greene was beginning to rue the day he purchased a strange box at a rummage sale at the Cassadaga Hotel, the cosmic center of Cassadaga, Florida, “The Psychic Capital of the World,” and home to scores of psychics and mediums and a plethora of phantasms, including an overabundance of the ghosts of forgotten historians from Henry Adams to Howard Zinn.

How was Greene to know that the box he bought was a duplicate of Pandora’s? How was he to know that the box contained Nikola Tesla’s prototype for a time travel device that jealous rival Thomas Alva Edison had stolen from the Serbian-born inventor and hidden in the basement of the Cassadaga Hotel shortly after “The Wizard of Menlo Park” received an honorary degree from nearby Rollins College in February of 1930? Tesla’s assembly instructions were a snap to follow, and the initial field trip had gone so well that Greene decided to try a fall field trip to colonial Philadelphia. But something had gone wrong; what had they done? Therein lies the tale.

The most dangerous thing about time travel is how easy it is to accidentally change the course of history.

Minerva was by far my favorite character in this class. Her quick thinking and leaderships skills aren’t apparent right away, but when she and her classmates face unexpected dangers in Philadelphia her deepest strengths are revealed. What was even more interesting was to see how she interacted with her teacher and the other students. The smartest and strongest among us don’t always end up being the best leaders, and it was entertaining to see how other personality factors influence which members of a group are called upon to make decisions at critical moments.

For a story of this length there were quite a few people to get to know in the beginning. Mr. Black’s repetition of their relationships and personalities helped me to remember who was who, though, and by the time I’d read several chapters I had a good understanding of all of the main and most of the secondary characters. Given that the plot demanded everyone be introduced at once the repetition was a useful tool, and I was grateful for the reminders as critical moments in the tale.

It was difficult to determine the correct age recommendation for this story. While most of the characters are in high school the humor in a particular subplot involving bathroom hijinks seemed like it would be more appealing for the late elementary or middle school crowd. The interactions between two characters who slowly realize how much their emotions are shifting will appeal to older readers, though, and it is for this reason that I’m recommending this for 12+ age group with the understanding that it is a flexible number. There is nothing in the tale that would be inappropriate for advanced 10 or 11 year olds, and the historical references and detailed descriptions of life in 1776 easily appeal to older readers as well.

The final scene of this tale catapulted the rating to a solid 4 stars. I grew slightly concerned about pacing as the plot advanced because so much time was dedicated to the beginning of the journey, but Mr. Black surprised me with a few tricks up his sleeve at the last minute that bumped him up to a higher rating.

Tesla’s Time Travelers is as much fun for older readers as it is for the age group for which it was originally intended. I highly recommend it to history buffs of all ages, and I hope to hear more from Mr. Greene and his students soon.

But figuring out a seating chart that won’t result in homicide isn’t Peter’s only problem. He’s a reporter and reporters need stories. Fortunately Peter has one. When he finds a dead, dismembered bald eagle near his home, he’s on the case. As guests converge upon his home, Peter searches the county for the person responsible…

What’s a wedding without a little murder and mayhem? At least in Peter’s world that adage is likely to be true. He and Nick are finally getting married and ready for a happy ever after ending. If only he can solve the mystery of the dead eagle and why Nick’s ex seems to be suspiciously close to Nick all of a sudden. Armed with his usual intelligence and Nick’s dad as a side kick, Peter tries to discover who killed the bald eagle, if he should be jealous of the ex-boyfriend and manage both sets of parents all while dealing with the caterer’s mix-up. It’s a lot to ask of a groom-to-be.

Birds of a Feather is the fifth book in the Bellingham Mysteries series. This one could be read as a stand alone novella but I don’t think it’s the strongest in the series so new comers should start at the beginning of the series. For anyone who’s been following the series, more Peter and Nick is never a bad thing. The men are adorable and familiar as they rehash old arguments and stumble their way to the altar. Nick especially has an interesting turn with his painting, a real surprise when it’s revealed, and bevy of old friends. I never knew Nick had it in him. Peter on the other hand is the same with his frazzled actions, irresponsible actions, and rash snap decisions. They serve to make him lovable even while frustrating.

While Peter and Nick shine as always, I was disappointed they weren’t together more. Since the main point of the story is their actual wedding, the two men spend a lot of time apart. I missed seeing their connection and how they play off each other. Both are great characters but they shine together so much more than apart. The host of secondary characters is nice but not outstanding and the two mysteries introduced are pretty much solved in minutes. Both resolutions felt unbelievable and unrealistic so I could have done without them entirely.

It’s always nice to revisit Nick and Peter and even nicer to see them finally get married. Kimberling is a great author and writes clean, crisp prose each time with no exception here. Unfortunately this isn’t my favorite book in the series. It lacked strong direction and I’m hoping the next one is more focused. Fans of the series will want to revisit the great couple and see their wedding and here’s to hoping the next one is a honeymoon adventure.

Madden Moon knows what the woman is the second she walks into the old café. Shifter. Wolf. Trouble. Struck by her beauty and the air of exhaustion about her, the leader of the Texas Rogues wishes her straight out of town. But as the mating energy of their species sizzles between them and her enemies approach, Madden has no alternative but to bring the beautiful lycan under his protection and into his bed.

Runaway Lana Vronski is in big trouble. As she races through the woods, local wolves in hot pursuit, she believes all is lost until she’s rescued by oh-so-sexy Madden. When he offers her sanctuary and sex hot enough to singe them both, she accepts his proposal. But it isn’t until the mating heat between them burns wildly out of control that Lana learns her true salvation awaits in his arms. Lana’s enemies are relentless, however, and will stop at nothing to rip her from the arms of the man she loves.

Ms. Carlysle continues to impress her readers with her explosive wolf-shifter tales of ignitable passion and desire in this sixth installment of her High Plains Shifter series. I find her fictional world development both fascinating and imaginative. I keep finding myself searching for wolf traits in my own personality half-hoping that I might be a long lost shifter at heart so that I too might have a destine wolf-mate waiting in the wings. I have grown to love this series and look forward to each new saga that she writes.

The dialogue in Mad Moon is witty, edgy and hot and the banter between the wolf-shifters is emotionally charged with enough electrical sizzle to power up an entire town. Madden Moon and Lana Vronski are two memorable characters that this reader will not soon forget.

The sexy alpha leader of the Texas Rogues, Madden Moon finds his wolf-mate when she literally walks into his town trying to escape from her troubles. The problem with Lana’s plan is that trouble is determined to find her no matter how far she runs. When Madden and Lana discover the mating heat means a destined match of forever mates, can Madden protect the “love-of-his-life” when the odds seem to be stacked against them?

I love the dynamics of the human traits that Ms. Carlysle adds to her werewolf characters. Madden is a take-charge born leader who faces danger with an air of authority, yet he is tender and loving with his mate. Lana still has much to learn in life but she is open to the fact that her life has changed forever when she passes through the little Texas town where werewolf and human both live and work together. The secondary characters in this book are insightful and informative and the evil werewolves were scary and riveting.  I am also impressed that each book covers enough background material to insure that it can be a stand alone novel in itself.

Looking for an enchanting fable with scintillating and enigmatic plots and a succulent romance that engages your imagination and satisfies your sense of adventure? Then Mad Moon might be the book that outshines all other moons. I think many will truly enjoy this spicy novel.
