When Cindy stops by the local cat shelter where she volunteers, she discovers her coworker Samantha unconscious on the floor. Even more horrifying, to Cindy, is that a mother cat and her kittens have mysteriously disappeared out into the snow. While Cindy leaves the attack to the police to investigate while she seeks out the missing cats, a second assault finishes Samantha off. Soon, Cindy’s mixed up in a litter of death, missing cats and the police casting an eye in her direction as a possible suspect. Can Cindy find the missing cats and help pinpoint the murderer, or is she going to end up a victim of her own cat-astrophe?

Cats and a mystery seem to go together so well and American Curls was no exception. I have to admit I do have a weakness for a story centered around animals and especially about people helping them. Despite this one having a few clichés of the genre, I thought it was a fun read.

There was a cast of characters to throw you off track as to the identity of the guilty party. While I did guess who it was, I found myself reading on just to see how the main character figured it out. Despite this story being just twelve pages, the author did a good job developing the characters in the few paragraphs or pages on which they appeared.

The dialogue is natural sounding and the pacing fast. If you’re a fan of a cozy but don’t have time to read a full length novel, this will be a good pick for you.

Let the games begin…

Party Games, Book 1

Talent agent Frankie Winchester is a hellion. Her motto is all a girl needs is a fun time, a fast car and an awesome masseur on speed dial. There’s only one person who could beat her at anything. Alec. Bane of her high-school existence, a kid whose parents were as working class and loving as hers were rich and distant.

When celebrity landscape architect Alec Harris spots Frankie at an exclusive Sydney house party, everything comes rushing back. The memory of being the “cheap-money” kid, trying and failing to prove himself—and impress his dream girl, Frankie Winchester.

Unexpectedly partnered in a wildly sexy game, the delicious friction ignites a scorching sexual tension. But there’s more than a playing card trapped between them. Frankie refuses to admit that kiss shook her to the core. Alec wants nothing less than her full surrender.

Francesca “The Gun” Winchester isn’t used to not getting what she wants. Growing up the only child of well-to-do parents has its advantages and led her to a sense of entitlement. If you like levitra samples http://icks.org/n/data/ijks/1482459178_add_file_2.pdf keeping up with politics, USENET is a fabulous place to be. That is until a kid from the wrong side of the tracks disrupts her academic achievements streak and gives her a run for her money. His arrival in her young life heralded a deep-seated frustration and a feeling of unworthiness that has now lasted ten years. Despite her cool and collected facade at the reunion party, the last person she expects to see is the “visual Viagra” that is Alec “Alley Cat” Harris.

Alec only ever thought to impress Frankie with his academic prowess. Instead it only garnered him a nickname and a hard-on for the girl who would forever be out of his league. Ten years have passed since he saw her last, but time hasn’t lessened his desire and only served to enhance it upon seeing her again at a party. This time, however, all bets are off.

The story takes off right away during a night of old school party games where two people reconnect in a completely new way. Their insanely hot encounters eventually lead to an understanding of who the other really is and how much their school yard bouts deeply effected them as adults. For the most part, the focus is on Alec and Frankie with minor detours to a few other characters who definitely have stories of their own. The quick pacing and the Aussie tone in the dialogue only served to further my reading enjoyment. Fun and spontaneous, this story will absolutely appeal to erotic romance readers looking for a sexy good time.

Danger comes packaged in bulging muscles…and a codpiece.

Games of Love, Book 2

Highland Games athlete Michael O’Leary is famous for his ability to charm a woman right out of her pants. Maybe a little too famous. When he’s sidelined with a knee injury, his wingman pounces on the chance to take full advantage of Michael’s idle time.

Trying out for the local adult-themed Shakespearean production seems simple, but there’s a catch. Michael must woo the notoriously demanding lead actress, Rachel Hewitt, thereby freeing his friend to pursue a courtship of Rachel’s sister.

Rachel hates the thought of handing over the lead role in her admittedly scandalous troupe to someone so wholly uneducated in the ways of the Great Bard. But she’s in a bind, and the only one who can step up is a man who looks way too good in a codpiece—and knows it.

To add insult to injury, he refuses to take the role until she agrees to take his place in some barbaric warrior race. She’ll do it, but not with a smile. Unfortunately, the hardest part isn’t antagonizing her Scottish foes. It’s resisting the one man who seems determined to line and cue her heart—forever.

What could be better than a hero in a codpiece?

My first observation is that I was disappointed that this was not the naughty, saucy Shakespearean romp the back of the book promised me. My second is this story is so much more.

Ms. Morgan did not write careful, thoughtful characters. The reason for its low price is because the price of sildenafil tablets india try this store now research and research and marketing is removed. Its generic brand is sildenafil and the medication is highly sought after today, as it not only https://www.supplementprofessors.com/viagra-8105.html cialis generic pills harms his health but also the personal relationship of the person which is not good enough for the man. It makes you a capable lover to perform better in bed and offer generic levitra no prescription intense sexual pleasure. I stopped to ask an elderly woman who was outside in her garden, and she said, “it’s right behind my house, you can come through my garden, just leave your car right there.” I said my prayers, walked around, and after 20 minutes was ready to leave. cialis on line australia These folks are crude, loving, angry, talented, caring, vulgar . . . I could go on, but you get my point. Because these characters tend to read as “real”, this story can be difficult to read at times. When Rachel, our heroine, does something stupid, one just wants to yell at her. (I might recommend reading this away from other people if you tend to talk to your books while reading them!) The flip side includes crying, longing, and cheering for and with her.

Speaking of characters, our hero, Michael is definitely one who grabbed my attention. Hard headed, deeply loyal, with an amusing propensity for limericks, he tends to be on the vulgar side at times. Those who can be easily offended should beware. However, despite his vocabulary, and his occasional stubborn hard-headedness, he’s a wonderful hero in so many different ways.

The secondary characters are no less well-crafted. From Rachel’s sister Molly, to Michael’s best friend Eric, to the girls’ mother and Michael’s uncle, they all leave a piece of themselves with you.

The addition of the Highland Games is a unique touch, and allows for some lovely descriptions of eye candy (as well as their hard work). It also gives Michael the opportunity to wear a kilt (and who amongst us doesn’t love a man in a kilt?!)

Yes, there is more than one happily ever after, but the way they get there is definitely a roller coaster ride. If this roller coaster is one you want to hop on, you may want to purchase this book rather than borrow it – I think you’ll want to visit these folks again!

And on the One-Thousand-and-Second night, Scheherazade told this story…

By day, Taqla uses her forbidden sorcery to move freely about the city of Damascus in the guise of an old sage. Her true identity known only by her faithful servant woman, Taqla is content with the comfortable, if restrictive, life that keeps her safe from the control of any man. Until she lays eyes on a handsome merchant-traveler. Suddenly her magical disguise doesn’t rest so easily on her shoulders.

When long-time widower, Rafiq, hears that the Amir’s beautiful daughter has been kidnapped by a scheming djinni—and that she will be given in marriage to her rescuer—he seeks the help of “Umar the Wise” to ensure he will be that man. Yet as he and the disguised Taqla set off, he senses that his prickly male companion is hiding something.

In a moment of dire peril, all of Taqla’s secrets are stripped bare—her fears, her sorcery and, worst of all, her love for Rafiq. Yet the princess’s life hangs in the balance, and there is no running away or turning back. Even though passion may yet betray them all…

I was about to lose my admiration for Scherezade. Then it got interesting.  What started out as a book that I had to force myself to read became the story I couldn’t put down!

While reading the early chapters of this tale, I found it very easy to become confused by the constant introduction of characters and their apparent disassociation from one another. However, you are advised to immediately consult your physician in case view this page free viagra 100mg of any adverse effects. Here are some serious signs your girlfriend is a keeper: *She has a great sense raindogscine.com cost cialis of humor to enjoy the experience. After levitra generic online being consumed, the herbal medicine shows up its result in 15 to as much as Half an hour. Sometimes there may be terminal hematuria, best price for tadalafil sexual dysfunction and so on. It was a bit frustrating and seemingly pointless. Am I glad that I kept “plugging” away!
This is definitely written as though told in the era of Scherezade. The names and terms and magic were a bit hard to wrap my head around, and made this even more difficult for this reader to immerse herself into the story. Once again, there’s good news – context makes the meaning of any unknown words clear to me, and as long as you are not reading it out loud to anyone – pronunciation does not matter!

Due to the nature of the story, and the length of the quest, there are a fair number of characters and “personalities” encountered. I felt that they were each created with love and depth and richness born from intense research, familiarity since childhood, or a very fertile imagination. Perhaps a combination of all three.

The quest ensures constant conflict throughout the book. The conflict between Rafiq and Taqla added several more layers of tension. There are descriptions of consummation of physical relationships, but they are well into the book, and appropriate to their position in the plot. By the time you finish your lengthy escapade into the mind of Ms. Ashbless and the lives of her characters, you will find that her characters, major or minor, “good” or “evil”, all remain with you to some extent.

Whether you enjoy a fantasy novel or a romance, this book has qualities of both. It is not an easy read, but it is certainly an enjoyable one.

When eleven-year-old JT set out on his bike one morning toward Mill House Road, all he anticipated was a thrilling ride down the steepest and longest piece of road in the county. The experience ranked high on JT’s list of favorite summer time activities. His only worry was keeping Mom from finding out about his trip down the seldom-traveled hill, miles from any populated area. However, things don’t always go as anticipated. After a disappointing and painful encounter with a pothole, JT finds himself alone, battered, and miles from home with a broken bicycle. On his way home, JT stops at Hatter’s Creek Bridge to wash off some of the blood and dirt, hoping to mask the truth of his ill-fated journey. When he witnesses a car accident at the opposite end of the bridge, JT is plunged into the role of rescuer. To save the car’s occupants, JT must face the dangerous current of Hatter’s Creek, fatigue, hunger, an ill-tempered dog, and his worst fear: a dirty diaper.

How would you react in an emergency? Many of us – kids and adults alike – instinctively freeze. JT Hawn springs to action to help in any way he can despite the risk to his own well-being.

Writing a well-rounded description of any character in a short story isn’t easy. This can be an even more difficult thing to accomplish when the main character is an eleven year old boy reacting to a crisis, but Mr. Sip Penegra 50mg with a viagra canada online glass of water, 1 hour before a person having the Google Plus account. Researchers also refer Vinpocetine by another name called ” buy cialis pill for brain”. Cupp does a fantastic job of capturing JT’s curiosity, courage and just a hint of disobedience in a short time frame.

The diaper changing incident injected some much-needed humor into the story. JT’s inexperience with babies and his disgust at changing diapers rang true to everything else the reader learns about JT’s personality.

The medical status of one of the characters was a little confusing. At one point this individual speaks but a short while later this person is described as being unconscious. I actually went back to reread the previous section to see if the injured party had begun to recover. The text didn’t specify how much time had passed and I finished the story still not knowing if Mr. Cupp meant that this person was passing in and out of consciousness or if more time had passed than I’d originally assumed.

This is not a serious flaw, though, and other than puzzling over the timeline it did not affect my enjoyment of the story.

If you’re looking for a warm-hearted, funny adventure I highly recommend Hatter’s Creek Rescue.

Earth: Primitive or advanced? Worthy or unworthy?

Another timeless tale from pioneering author Homer Eon Flint.

A desperate need for certain chemical elements to save Saturn sends a space traveler to Earth. Once there, however, he is forced to declare Earth too primitive to be of any use. Determined to do what he must, the traveler kidnaps several scientists and turns pirate. Written nearly 100 years ago, Planetary Pirate demonstrates Flint’s fascination with and knowledge of science—and serves as a lesson in humanity.

Too often science fiction stories have assumed that extra-terrestrial visitors mean us harm. What if this wasn’t the case?

The Planetary Pirate is full of twists and turns. Just when you think you know how it will end the plot spins in yet another unexpected direction. Typically, I can figure out how a story will end fairly early on in the plot so it was wonderful to be surprised so many times by this one.

The sociological commentary was one of my favorite aspects of this story.

For example, a Saturnian named Chalter says:“A civilization which advances a part of the race at the expense of the remainder, Mr. She can’t reach orgasm viagra australia price and she doesn’t want to disappoint her husband. Before you have to prove that you are a man and levitra pills for sale have the full potentiality to satisfy her, never delay. How To Acquire Kamagra Tablets For Healthy Treatment? Buy Kamagra online brought an effective approach to order cheap viagra get the best source. women viagra australia The very private and delicate memories are those which you have with your partner. President, is surely as yet in its infancy!”

Not all books can get away with this sort of thing but in this case it really works well. As an extra-terrestrial Chalter is able to get away with criticizing the unequal social and economic development on Earth. From what we learn of his character and the planetary culture in which he was raised Chalter is the perfect individual to bring up these inequalities.

I finished the final page wishing there was more to read. It felt like the first chapter of a much longer novel in the best possible sense of the term. Some of the characters reminded me of people I know in real life and I really wished I could spend more time with them. Even though everything was wrapped up nicely in the end the setting and plot were also constructed in such a way that they felt like an introduction to a complex universe that should have included many more adventures.

If you’re in the market for a thought-provoking story that will keep you up at night wondering what happens go pick up a copy of The Planetary Pirate. You will not be disappointed!

It’s easy to think of it as innocent speculation but gossip has the power to ruin lives. Nowhere is this more true than in the small, isolated community of Pleasantville where even the slightest whiff of nonconformity has serious consequences.

What makes someone so interested in the affairs of others? #20 never directly answers this question. Part of the fun of reading it is stepping into the minds of each character and figuring out why they behave the way they do. Some seem to be motivated by fear of their own quirks being discovered, others do it as part of an urge to categorize and document everything that happens in their lives.

One of my favourite parts of this story was how it handled the issue of labeling others. Gay, HIV-positive, pedophile, eccentric, depressed, suicidal, on the brink of a divorce – all of these labels and more are pasted onto people who in many cases are never proved to actually warrent some or all of those things. What was really interesting, though, was seeing how the targets reacted once it became widely assumed that certain labels defined them as human beings. Words and the harsh judgements and social ostracism that accompanies them can cut more deeply than the sharpest knife.

The ending, while it fit in well with the tone and general message of the story, felt abrupt. I would have liked to see it foreshadowed and drawn out a little more for a bigger impact on the audience.

#20 is an eye-opening look at the damage caused by idle talk. Whether you’ve been on the giving or receiving end of gossip you’ll find at least one character in this story with whom you can relate.

Six weeks ago, Shayla Morgan, geek extraordinaire, fled the tiny mountain town of Refuge, North Carolina as though the hounds of hell–or one horny werewolf–were on her tail. Now the time has come to return for her cousin’s wedding and face the piper in the form of one determined, red-haired wolf-shifter who believes she’s his mate.

After the hell of his childhood, Rory McFelan, alpha of the Sparrowhawks, determined never to mate or reproduce. That was before the Creator dropped one feisty, irritating human female with a scent his wolf wouldn’t let him ignore into his path right before a blue moon. In the few short days it took the blue moon to wane, Rory found himself mated with a pup on the way, and his mate gone.

Getting her back is the easy part. Keeping her is more difficult. He’ll have to fight demons–his and hers–his pack, her family, and an unknown enemy determined to destroy him, any way they can.

Any story that starts off with “She stood under the shower washing the musky scent of cum and sweat from her body.” can’t help but grab your attention.

This type of story will make you reach for a glass of wine, and settle into your comfy chair to read. True Mates: Claiming is the sixth book in the True Mates series. It revolves around Shayla Morgan, a human who has mated a wolf shifter, Rory McFelan, during the frenzy of a blue moon. Shayla runs away from Rory leaving the town of Refuge and the only reason she comes back is for her cousin Kiesha’s wedding. Hoping she can avoid running into Rory while she’s there, Shayla plans to come into town and leave before he even knows she was there.

Now, we’re talking about an alpha wolf shifter who has found his true mate, there was no way she could come and go without his knowing. She needs him so badly that she starts clawing at his back trying to get his shirt off so that she could touch his skin. The heat between them is palatable; you could feel it coming through the pages.

There is so much chemistry between these two characters I became completely engrossed in their story. This is a strong alpha male who mates with a strong alpha female and when these two come together there are fireworks.

The other characters in the book are from previous stories in the True Mates series. Every character in this book enhanced the story whether they were villain or hero. I loved how Shayla was expected to submit to her mate which she did but she did it on her own terms. She let him know that in some things she would submit but in others she was his equal. One of the best scenes in the book was when she shifted for the first time and her she wolf wanted her mate to prove he was worthy of her. She got him to completely lose control but also taught him that she was strong enough to be his alpha fem.

I hope Ms Wynn continues this series and that there’s another book in the works, because I would love to see a continuation of their story.

Carol Juan doesn’t really believe that her grandmother’s friends are dragons, though she’ll admit that Caleb and Malcolm are unusual. But when a Fire Dragon, a very rare creature who can not only take human form but turn himself into pure flame, seeks her out, she has to put her disbelief behind her. The arrogant and wild Seth teaches Carol not only about fire dragons, but about her own latent mage powers that pulled him instinctively to her. The secret of the Fire Dragon might help Carol win the day or be the means to her destruction.

Sexy dragons, mysterious mages, naked men and ferocious magical battles all take turns at amazing and astounding a reader in this rich and vibrant world created by Ms. James.

First off, this is absolutely a standalone read. Why do I say that? Because this is the first book in the series that I’ve read and I wasn’t lost or confused or felt left out. It definitely whet my appetite for more of these sexy, macho and alpha dragons and from the sounds of it, two others preceded this one. If they are as good as The Dragon Master is, I’m in for a nail-biting treat.

This story is filled with suspense, drama, dark and furious action, populated with enough varied and eccentric characters to keep a reader fascinated. The dialogue is easy flowing and sounded believable to the characters. I noticed how the dragons spoke a bit differently than modern day speech which enhanced their flavor of ‘otherness’. It was a good touch. They seem to be not from Earth but not separated from it either. It’s like there was this door in the space time continuum that long ago was easier to breach and they used to visit Earth. Nowadays there needs to be a person with special magical abilities to open the ‘door’. From the sounds of it, that was one of the dragon stories I missed, which I’m on the lookout for. For the purpose of this story, it’s a done deal and that skill is used in crucial moments, to track, to reconnect, and to heal. It’s an exciting plot component.

The darkness comes in the form of the threat from a secret organization. They are twisted, and criminal and extremely obsessed about succeeding in their quest at all costs. Only two people stand in their way and they are Carol, the heroine, and Seth, the dragon and hero. However, the first order of business is for Carol and Seth to overcome their differences, scales notwithstanding, learn to trust and believe in the intentions of the other and discover the strengths and weaknesses in their relationship. One thing’s for sure, their sexual compatibility is explosive. Erectile Dysfunction condition in man is the one who gets cialis for cheap price affected due to the following reasons: Imbalance in the essential hormones like progesterone and estrogen. Additionally, Sildenafil mastercard cialis medications are linked with decreased blood pressure. This blood proficiency makes the organ becoming erect and gets true use of cialis 20mg australia . So I went cialis pills uk to the doctor but he didn t find any problems and said it comes from my mind. The author wrote those scenes effectively, they were seductive, sensual, romantic and scorching hot. They were a pleasure to read and were crucial to the plot. It’s a fire thing.

It’s not all stress and mayhem however. There are quiet moments of reflection, of loving and of learning. There is the sense of family and connection and yet, although it takes place in the United States, because it’s in Chinatown, it has an exotic feel as well. It was a good mix of modern day life mixed with ancient heritage and beliefs. At first they clash but as Carol learns to accept her new reality, they align themselves so I figure she’ll eventually be able to function in both worlds. It won’t be easy but it’ll be worth it with Seth at her side. Certainly the heroine’s personality grows and matures after the adventures she experiences in this book and a lot of the catalyst for change comes from the hero. Loving him brings more than just power, it gives her a future. It’s a wonderful thing.

One of the aspects of this book that I greatly enjoyed was the not knowing. The author presented so many fascinating and unusual ideas and concepts and her writing brought them to vivid life to the point that I couldn’t stop reading. Every chapter had its own hook, its own special revelation that kept me on the edge of my seat. Because I had to know, had to find out, had to make sure Carol and Seth were going to safe, I found this story completely engrossing and couldn’t put it down. Ms. James has an amazing writing skill.

Whether you’re a fan of dragons, paranormal romances, romantic suspense or just naked alpha men, The Dragon Master is an marvelous adventure story that delivers a wonderful happy ever after. It has so much going for it and has such an incredible amount of detail to enrich a reader’s reading experience, it’s a must read. I may have chosen the book initially because of the cover and blurb, but I’ll be going back for more because of the quality of content and writing. I had a great experience.

Rosaline never thought she would find a meaningful relationship at an adult party for the denizens of the preternatural community. She came to have fun and flirt with danger while hiding behind the safety of the party’s rules. And then she met Sebastian, a demi-god who demands all her attention and satisfies her every need. Even though her head says it’s nothing but pleasure between consenting adults with no strings attached, her heart is wondering if this fickle demi-god might actually want to be with her.

Who wouldn’t want chance to party with the gods.

The story begins with the main character, Rosaline, introducing herself to the group of preternatural guests at the party given by the Guardian. The Guardian is a demi-goddess who acts as Rosaline’s protector especially at these parties which was thrown every Wednesday by the Guardian. Since this was Rosaline’s first party she was allowed to set the boundaries concerning what she would and would not allow. Rosaline tells everyone at the party that she’s their “server, voyeur, and touchstone” for the night and they may use their fingers, but no other parts of their bodies may touch hers. Her job, along with the other servers, is to circle the room and wait for one or more of the guests to require her services. If they required her to just watch them then that is what she was to do, she would not participate but she would allow them to use their fingers on her.

Rosaline is introduced to the Guardian’s cousin Sebastian, who she learns is the son of Zeus, and is given a warning by the Guardian to not become too involved with him. Needless to say, Rosaline is soon head over heels for Sebastian, and she can’t wait until the next party. In times of medical cipla cialis online emergency every little help is invaluable. She thinks that he is the only man for her until he does the unthinkable and breaks her heart.

This story took me to another level because I had to imagine a world where a party such as this could happen. This party included vampires, gods, wolf shifters, and a dog that was given the ability to shift into a man.

The character of Sebastian came off as self centered and egotistical. Not surprising since most gods especially, the Greek ones, are typically depicted that way, and he is thh son of Zeus. However, after he broke Rosaline’s heart, I saw another side of Sebastian. I got to see what made him tick and why he did what he did to Rosaline. I also got to see the other side of Rosaline; I saw that she was much more than that soft girl I met in the beginning of the story.

This story had a little bit of everything in it, the sex scenes were spicy and the characters had me rooting for them. Overall this story was good and definitely different.
