Just weeks before graduating from high school, Grace is running for her life with her magical and mysterious boyfriend, Sebastian, by her side. An ancient magic has been awakened inside of Grace that is powerful, frightening and barely within her control. The Others, who possess their own dangerous magic, are hunting them, and their only hope is for Grace to learn how to harness her incredible powers to stop them. The answers they seek are hidden within a life lived thousands of years ago, shrouded in mystery, magic and deceit. When their past catches up to them, Grace and Sebastian are faced with a truth that shakes the foundation of their relationship, their lives and everything they thought they knew. It is up to Grace to learn to control the Lost Magic, to right the wrongs that have been done, and to discover once and for all, who she really is.

If readers didn’t get enough of Grace Lynn and Sebastian in Amber Frost, worry not, because Silver Dew is here, and the story of these two continues. On the run from those that want to hurt them, this story is powerful and intense.

There was a time Grace Stevenson was a normal teenager. She went to school, had her friends, dated. Who would have though in just a span of a few months that she’d be deeply in love with a mysterious boy and now fleeing her home to be safe? Grace is learning to embrace the things that are deep within her. She faces situations that seem to make her stronger. There is a darkness that wants to overtake this young girl, it it will take strength and wits to beat it all.

Sebastian is still a mystery just like before, but readers slowly learn more about this character. These purchase viagra in australia effects are usually mild to moderate and usually don’t last longer than a few hours. This sequel is so much more action packed than Amber Frost. For those that like to read series in order, I’d advise to read Amber Frost first, so you’re clued into what’s going on. There you’ll find the story of the couple’s beginning and how things came to be in this story. There are a few scenes that are mature content, this is by far not a light read. It has its dark moments, but nothing too over the top. Overall, I enjoyed it and was glad to know more about Grace and especially Sebastian.

If you enjoy paranormal young adult with plenty of action and intrigue, add Silver Dew to your reading lists. If you’ve read Amber Frost, this exciting installment has the potential to keep you up in to the late hours of the night, or keep you distracted from other duties during the day. This book is definitely an attention grabber…and keeper.

Will his boyfriend’s girlfriend become his girlfriend too?

Powertools, Book 4

James has watched each of the crew fall in love, one by one, until only he and his life partner Neil remain “unattached”. So, when he sees the way his bisexual boyfriend is checking out their new apprentice, he’s sure he’s doomed to lose the man of his dreams.

His love is strong enough that he would let go to ensure Neil’s happiness. Instead, sparks fly between the three of them—along with the rest of the crew—and he realizes he might not have to surrender because his boyfriend’s girlfriend is becoming his girlfriend too.

Proceed with caution when using Powertools, you just never know how hot they are going to get. Jayne Rylon’s fourth book in her Powertools series, Devon’s Pair, is smokin’ hot and exceptionally dirty! Ms. Rylon never fails to deliver the kink and the underlying drama in her books and Devon’s Pair was no exception. This book began by pulling me in on the first page with Ms. Rylon’s distinct imagery and had me completely snared by the third with the inevitable drama about to unfold.

The Powertools series began with a pairing off the Crew’s foreman Mike and the others have followed suit. I was curious how Ms. Rylon was going to deal with Neil and James in this series being that they are a couple themselves, except Neil is bi-sexual and James’ preference is guys…actually his preference is Neil. So we are given two guys who are already in love. Them we get Devon, a tomboy who works in construction too, who joins the crew as an apprentice and Neil experiences love at first sight for the second time in his life. Neil is a lucky guy, if you ask this reader.

There are a two major plot points in Devon’s Pair which are both integral parts of the story. Specific guidelines on eating, drinking, taking or avoiding certain vitamins would be given by the doctors involved that should be taken sildenafil online pharmacy one hour in advance of sex, Tongkat Ali works when you want it to work. Basically, there should purchase viagra from canada be a flexibility of choice so that you are easily able to buy whatever you need. There is the love triangle between Neil, James and Devon and their feelings for one another. There is also the on-going sharing relationship with the crew which includes the new mates of the other crew members, which is experiencing growing pains. Without revealing anything to spoil the story, let me just say that Jayne Rylon is extraordinarily talented when combining issues of the heart and writing erotic fiction. I have yet to experience anything that compares. Whew, but when this group gets together the pages ignite and a reader’s temperature rises exponentially.

Ms. Rylon has written a tight storyline that covers a lot of ground in a short number of pages; it boggles my mind how it was even possible, but somehow she does it seamlessly. This story is written from the point of view of Devon and James and I really enjoyed how Ms. Rylon incorporated their thoughts and feelings throughout. I really enjoyed the dialogue in this story as the characters banter back and forth as well as express their feelings realistically. Kudos to Ms. Rylon on her spectacular sex scenes. She has managed to pen the unimaginable and make it seem as though I was a voyeur who was unable to turn away.

Jayne Rylon fans, if you haven’t gotten your copy of Devon’s Pair, what are you waiting for? For those readers who haven’t read any of Ms. Rylon’s books and enjoy the really dirty reads that actually have a storyline, go get Devon’s Pair. You are guaranteed to find a new favorite.

Beau is willing to risk it all on a night of passion with the hopes that in the light of day things will go in a positive direction for the three of them.

Chloe Cole is a new to me author and impressed me right off the bat. This was a great story that made pant with the need to read more stories by her. These three characters were well-rounded and real, and really drew me in from page one. The story flowed well, and didn’t seem too rushed or forced, plus the sex was hot and realistic and left me wanting a lot more in the end.

I will definitely be looking for more works by Chloe Cole and I know she will make a great addition to anyones keeper shelf.

Six Pack Ranch, Book 2

Beth Danube’s emotionally abusive husband is dead and buried. So is her heart. It’s no big deal, she has all she wants: her three little boys and a fresh start in a small Alberta town. What she doesn’t want is another man in her life—not now, maybe not ever.

After ten years of unsatisfactory, missionary-position sex, she never expected her libido to reawaken. One look at sex-in-boots Daniel Coleman in a Calgary bar, though, blows the dust off her sexuality.

Sensing an edge of desperation, even fear, beneath Beth’s come-on, Daniel finds himself giving in to the powerful urge to let his normally subdued desires run wild. The lady wants non-judgmental, non-vanilla sex? She’s got it—in and out of the bedroom.

At first, friends with blazing-hot benefits is more than enough. Then she realizes Daniel is burning away the protective fortress around her heart…and the guilty secret she dare not reveal.

Rocky Mountain Haven is an emotionally gripping story of fated lovers who heal one another as well as they set the sheets on fire! Vivian Arend’s Rocky Mountain Haven is the second in her Six Pack Ranch Series and it was a poignant tale that was heartwarming and thought-provoking. I was completely captivated by this story and could not put it down until I had read the last page.

Beth Danube is an emotionally wounded woman who wants to make a fresh start with her three young sons after a car accident that killed her abusive husband and left her with an injured leg. Beth is picking up the pieces of her life and moves her family from the big city, Calgary, and settles her family in small town Alberta, at Rocky Mountain House. Once she has settled into her rented house on a ranching family’s property she discovers that she has moved onto the ranch of the first man who has ever fired her libido up and who she ran away from some months earlier.

Daniel Coleman is a cowboy recovering from a bad breakup that left him feeling less than whole and fueld the desire to make a change in his life. Daniel met a woman in a Calgary bar that he cannot seem to shake from his mind but she gave him a fake name and number and he had no way to track her down. Skip ahead a few months and Daniel finds the beautiful woman not only living on his family’s ranch but she is sleeping in his old room; it seems fate has brought her back to him. Beth is everything Daniel wants in a woman, but Daniel senses there are some things she is not telling him and that her soul is wounded. Can Daniel get through the barriers Beth seems to keep around her heart?

Beth and Daniel’s story is heartwarming and beautiful as Daniel seduces not only Beth’s body but her mind as well. Daniel wants more than heart-stopping sex from Beth, he wants to be her friend. Beth wants non-vanilla sex, the opportunity to raise her boys without fear and to be in control of her life. Rocky Mountain Haven is a delightfully written erotic romance that will have readers wanting more from Vivian Arend. The writing is superb; Ms. Arend uses the point of view of both of her main characters to portray the developing feelings of each. Ms. Arend’s use of genuine and realistic dialogue keeps readers emerged in this story of fated lovers. The love scenes were written with exacting detail that left me feeling hot and flustered. Ms. Arend writes love scenes that are sweet and still very erotic. I really liked Ms. Arend’s writing style; this story flowed so smoothly that when I reached the end I was left feeling content and pleased with the outcome.

This series had me hooked when I discovered that the setting was a place I am familiar with and this doesn’t normally happen for me. I found that Ms. Arend stayed true to the area with her descriptions and the reality of the surrounding areas and the need to travel outside the small town of Rocky Mountain House. Ms. Arend did a fabulous job of keeping it real, I felt like if I jumped in my car and drove to Rocky I could see this story play out in front of me.

For those readers who like stories with cowboys, hot love scenes and emotional writing I suggest you start reading this series, you will absolutely love it. Vivian Arend has brought together all of these things plus a slice of Canada to her readers and you do not want to miss it. I cannot wait for the next in this series!

Bertie Stevens has problems. Her brother is MIA in the war in Europe, the bank threatens to foreclose on her home, and the pilots from the local airbase think her resort’s beach is some kind of landing strip. Still, she keeps her little resort in beautiful Cape May running through the dark years of WWII. When Captain Greg Marsh comes to quarter at her estate, he’s an unwelcome symbol of the war right in her kitchen. The angry sparks flying between them at first soon turn to sparks of another kind when the passion they feel for each other can’t be denied. Bertie’s always sworn she wouldn’t get involved with a military man. Will Greg’s handsome face, confident swagger, and sincere personality cut through her reservations?

Landed by a Flyboy has angry bankers, a hunky Naval officer, and a lot of twists and turns.

There is a lot going on in this snazzy little book. I nabbed Landed by a Flyboy because I have a love of pilots and an interest in all things from the WWII era. May Williams manages to combine the uncertainty of the times with some interesting characters in this short story.

As I said, this is a very short read. If you’re looking for lots of description, then this book might not be for you. Yes, I got an idea of where the book took place, but I didn’t really feel like I was there.

Don’t get me wrong, there is a lot going for this book. Their healing techniques are also very satisfying. levitra properien cheap cialis professional The female spouse has acidic cervical canal. The scene where he worked on the car was my favorite because it was sexy in a “being taken care of” sort of way. I sighed happily after reading that scene.

As much as I loved Greg, I had some issues with Bertie. She’s in a strange situation. Granted, her brother is missing. Granted, she’s carrying a huge load. Still, I wasn’t sure why she was so angry at Greg from the very beginning. Greg comes across as a perfectly decent guy, but if there was more explanation as to why she keeps a cool distance I might have been able to identify with her more.

Still there were moments of sweetness and heat that I’m glad were there. I got to see the blossoming feelings between Greg and Bertie and it was fun.

If you want to take a sentimental journey through wartime 1940’s, then this is the book for you.

After one look at Annabel, Christian knows that he must possess her. There is something about her that calls to the real Christian, and not this man he has had to become.

This was a wonderful book and it was a pleasure to read. The characters were really well thought out and the story line moved at a nice, believable pace that really worked with the time period of this tale. I would have liked to see how things turned out for Christian and Annabel after the wedding, i.e. babies, Dinah’s coming out party, etc. But outside of those possible hanging details (which could make for a follow up story to this book) I truly enjoyed this read. I have read Laurie Lee Guhrke before and this book just reaffirms my thoughts that she is an author to follow and that nothing of hers will disappoint a reader. This is a book that would be great to reread and recommend with friends looking for a new author.

A Green Beret captain, Garrett Jensen, has two great loves in life…one is his career, the other is his family. The continual demands–and absences–as the commander of a Special Ops unit become too much for his wife, Catherine, and although she will always love him, she files for divorce, wanting a normal and safe life for their girls. But danger, wrapped in the guise of Garrett’s latest assignment, strikes too close to home, and husband and wife must team up again, against the deadly drug underworld, in order to save their children. Their enemies are within, and without, but which is which is the ultimate question.

Garrett thought everything at home was just fine. He’d never been more wrong about anything in his life.

When Garrett came home from his latest assignment, he discovered his personal life was in shambles. Not only had his wife, Cathryn, filed for divorce, but she’d moved the kids out of the house they’d shared together. I felt Garrett’s pain and confusion as he walked through the rooms of his empty house. However, Cathryn had suffered a great deal in Garrett’s absence. I couldn’t help but wonder if Cathryn and Garrett would be able to see past the pain and find a way to work things out, or if their marriage would become another statistic.

Cathryn and Garrett are two of the most stubborn characters I’ve ever come across. They both have completely different views on their marriage and history together, and this causes frequent arguments. In fact, Garrett and Cathryn spend so much time fighting and lashing out at each other that it was a little hard to get into the story at first. I found myself taking breaks from reading Deadly Obligations because I needed to pull away from the intensity of the fights. The thing that kept me coming back to the book was my curiosity as to how things between them would turn out, and the hope for a happy ending.

I liked Garrett. He’s a strong, loyal, and passionate man, but I found myself shaking my head over his actions many times as I read. I admired his dedication to the military, but disliked the fact that he took his wife and children for granted. He assumes Cathryn and his daughters are fine while he’s away on missions, but it takes something as drastic as his wife filing for divorce to get his attention. Even when he learns of her plans, he arrogantly believes he can swoop in and smooth everything over. It is to be identified and corrected in order to help success and peace of mind in Kenya, and sildenafil soft tablets talking about U.S. policy in Kenya are what this exchange concentrated on.. In the initial phase, if you are in extreme pain, you may require more frequent treatments for a few weeks. cialis 10 mg Reduce buy pfizer viagra the use of caffeinated energy drinks. However, I was very pleased that Garrett lost a bit of his ego as the story progressed. Very gradually, he began to see things from Cathryn’s perspective and then he truly began to make up for lost time.

I admired many things about Cathryn. She’s a loving mother willing to do anything to protect her little girls. Even when she doesn’t feel strong, she makes sure that her girls are okay. She only cries behind closed doors. Though she suffered a terrible loss, Cathryn still manages to hold her life together. That sort of strength is hard to come by.

When Garrett and Cathryn stop fighting, they make a good team. After they learn their daughters have been kidnapped, they work together to bring them home. While it wasn’t exactly practical for Cathryn to be on such a dangerous mission, I’m glad she convinced Garrett to let her go. It gave her a chance to see the harsh reality of Garrett’s work and gave her some much needed insight into his character.

I must mention that I was not entirely happy with the way the story ended. I won’t spill the details, but I will say this: Garrett and Cathryn go through a lot of pain and turmoil throughout the story. In the last chapter of the book, they are finally on their way to finding some peace and happiness together. However, on the very last page something happens that could rip it all away again. Usually, I’m okay with an open ended conclusion, but after a book as intense as Deadly Obligations, this last minute twist felt unnecessary. I have to assume the author is planning a sequel, but it doesn’t make the ending easier to swallow.

Despite this issue, I thought Deadly Obligations was a good book. I liked Cathryn and Garrett, and I enjoyed watching them learn to work together and rediscover their romance. I recommend Deadly Obligations to anyone looking for an intense military themed suspense.

When lust turns to love, it’s one fire he can’t extinguish…

Merle Cameron’s not looking for love. Between her job as a university lecturer and caring for a mother recovering from breast cancer, she has no room in her schedule for a demanding relationship.

While visiting her sister in New Zealand, however, she’s happy to indulge in some hot holiday sex with kind, hunky firefighter Neon Carter. After all, they live on opposite sides of the world. There’s no chance things will turn serious.

Neon Carter is a catch. At least, that’s what the ladies apparently think. All they seem to want is a quick trip down the aisle, but Neon’s in no rush to settle down. Light-hearted summer loving with a sexy blonde is something different, though, and Neon’s happy to offer his services until Merle has to return to England.

The weather’s hot, the sex even hotter. But when it’s time for Merle to go home, they both realize they’re in deeper than they thought. And there’s no solution that won’t break someone’s heart.

So make sure that you take the medication at least an hour before intercourse. sale on viagra It is called canadian viagra professional , the reason is that this type of surgery is performed in order to rectify the damages caused due to trauma, infections, tumours or disease. I am going to be honest here and admit that I got this book by mistake. I had asked for a different book, with a similar title, but since it was sent to me, I promised to review. I have to say, it was the best mistake that’s ever happened to me, as I would otherwise have missed one of the best holiday books I have ever read.

A holiday trip to visit her sister in New Zealand seems like just the thing to Merle Cameron. After a rough year coping with her job, and helping her mom through her battle with breast cancer, all Merle wants is to lie in the sun and forget everything. Maybe find a nice guy and have a quick fling, before heading back to England to take up her responsibilities once again. Holiday sex isn’t permanent, after all, just some quick and harmless fun with someone she will never see again.

When she meets fireman Neon Carter, he seems to fill the bill quite nicely: sex on two very well proportioned legs, and commitment phobic in the extreme. Neither of them is looking for happily ever after, so this should be perfect. Too bad nobody told their hearts not to get in the game. Now, Merle has to return to England, leaving her heart in New Zealand as she faces the reality of her responsibilities back home. And Neon never counted on falling for the woman who was walking out of his life for good, leaving a hole where his heart should be.

I adore the world Ms. Woods has built here, with real and charismatic characters, and a delightful location. I loved how she included a bit of a travelogue along with this romance, and I felt like I could see these places through Merle’s eyes as Neon gave her the tour.

Merle Cameron is strong and smart. She is a lecturer, and has also been shouldering the burden of her mother’s illness. She needs a break. I loved that Merle wanted to try and experience as much as possible to build memories to take home. I enjoyed watching as she fell under Neon’s spell, and cried with her when she realized what he had come to mean to her, knowing as she did that she had to leave him. I also loved how she was willing to push her boundaries to make this a wonderful, once in a lifetime experience.

Neon Carter is a strong and courageous character. As a firefighter, he leads his men and works hard. So when he plays, he plays hard, too. He is not interested in a forever love, and tries to make sure any of his romantic partners know this up front. I love that he refuses to play the ‘I love you’ card to get women to be with him, and tries very hard not to lead them on. He is honest and up front about his intentions. I loved watching as he realized Merle wasn’t just another fling to him, and liked his determination to find a way for them to be together.

This is a sizzling hot romance, played out all over the New Zealand locale. These two find places to be together and each encounter is hotter than the one before. The secondary characters are as well defined as the main ones, and I loved Merle’s sister Bree and her new husband Jake. I hope to read their story someday.

I loved the interplay between Bree and Merle, and I found the relationship between Neon and his cousin Jake hilarious at times. When the women make a bet, they don’t know that the men have made one as well, and it was fun to see who would win first. Merle’s mother was the epitome of the controlling and slightly conniving mother who places her happiness and desires above her daughter’s.

Do Merle and Neon find a compromise for their happy ever after? You need to read White Hot Christmas for yourself, to get the answers to all the questions. But once you start, make sure the fan stays on high, because this is one very hot Christmas story.

Aaron Hawke has been in love with Bronwyn since she was twelve years old. Years later, after spotting her laying in the grass watching the cherry tree, he lost his heart to her completely. Bronwyn hurt and surprised him when, after he asked her to run away with him, she stands him up and then refuses to see him again. The hurt Bronwyn caused all those years ago made Aaron a hard man, fiercely protective of his heart. Still, his one weakness remains — her. Once Aaron comes back to town after all this time, Bronwyn realizes what she threw away. Can the scars she put on his heart be healed?

Bronwyn has always loved Aaron. When she’s confronted with the idea that she might hold him back in life, she forces herself to step back so that he can be the man he was meant to be. Now, after years of dreaming and loving him from afar, Aaron is back. The road to forgiveness is often painful. Putting all the cards on the table, Bronwyn hopes to convince Aaron (and maybe herself) that what she did was what she thought was best for him. One of the hallmarks of Ms. O’Malley’s writing is her stellar characterization. I enjoyed the characters very much. Both Aaron and Bronwyn are likable, if not flawed, main characters. This book runs the gamut of emotions. Love. Lust. Deception. Anger. Bitterness. Forgiveness. I became completely invested in them, and had no problem cheering for their HEA. The general premise of the story was great. While I truly liked this book, there was one issue that kept it from being everything I’ve come to expect from this author. I love Tierney O’Malley’s work and have read a lot of her books but this story too much on the past and not enough on the present story. Usually a book with lots of detail can draw me in, but the characters spent so much time dwelling on the past that the present didn’t stand a chance. I guess what I’m saying is that I’d have liked to have seen a more even distribution of past and present rather than it being so past-heavy.

The thing that keeps bringing me back to Ms. O’Malley’s writing is the way she draws a reader in with her characters and the situations they get into. Investing in her as an author to enjoy is a smart choice and one that I will make again in the future.

Adriane Darcy was practically raised in her father’s newspaper offices. She can’t imagine life without the clatter of the press and the push to be first to write the news that matters. Their Tribune is the leading paper in Louisville in 1855. Then Blake Garrett, a brash young editor from the North with a controversial new style of reporting, takes over failing competitor the Herald, and the battle for readers gets fierce.

When Adriane and Blake meet at a benefit tea, their surprising mutual attraction is hard to ignore. Still, Blake is the enemy, and Adriane is engaged to the son of a powerful businessman who holds the keys to the Tribune’s future. Blake will stop at almost nothing to get the story–and the girl. Can he do both before it’s too late

Love is a light that keeps the darkness of evil at bay. However, memories of fear in a dark closet and echoes of the words—God does not listen to bad girl’s prayers—rules Adriane Darcy’s response to many things that happen. In spite of this psychological hang-up, Adriane is a strong twenty-two-year-old woman who uses her unique talents as she helps her father, Wade Darcy, run the Tribune, a popular newspaper in mid-nineteenth century Louisville, Kentucky. The burden of guilt she carries about her mother and step-mother threatens to sabotage her chance at happiness The time comes when she must make a decision, “honor thy father” and marry the man he wants her to marry or marry the man she loves, for “God is love”. Her struggle almost debilitates her, but courage and faith keeps her doing the best she can in a troubled time. What an incredible vicarious introspective experience the reader has with Adriane!

Blake Garrett, the editor of the Herald newspaper in Louisville, is in direct competition with the Tribune, but in love with Adriane. He came from New York and brought with him his own share of guilt that impedes his ability to feel worthy to love. However, he knows the first time he sees Adriane Darcy that he has loved her all his life, he just had not known it until he saw her. In his efforts to print the truth, he creates dangerous enemies that have a strong hold on Wade Darcy and also Adriane. His tenacity and unflagging energy gets him into trouble, but they also help him find a way to survive and thrive for himself and for Adriane when it seems the dark has truly absorbed all the light in their lives.

Ann Gabhart weaves a beautiful tapestry of a tale with the golden thread of love shining among the varying dark shades of evil in political corrupt, prejudice, and disregard for human life. The iridescence of Adriane and true blue of Blake woven in with the golden thread make a beautiful design, while the pastels of society ladies create part of the landscape design that seems to get mixed with the dark designs of evil. However, some of the secondary characters have varying shades of golden threads, some rather tarnished and some finely polished with age, and some even a little dirty and unpolished, but they enrich this compelling story.

Wade Darcy’s love for Adriane seems to have become tarnished over time as his precious Tribune becomes his first love. The old polished gold is Beck, longtime friend of Wade Darcy and his right hand man in the pressroom. He loves Adriane (Addie to him) as if she were his own daughter. He has shielded her, taught her, shown her how faith in God sustains in all things, and protects her with his very life when needed. The unpolished gold that twines itself near Adriane in the tapestry is Duff, the Irish lad who is loyal to Adriane and guards his family as best he can in troubled times, while the dirty gold is the dog Mr. O’Mallery who never agreed to belong to anybody, but is always there for Adriane when she needs a friend to listen to her.

Antagonists Coleman Jimson and Stanley Jimson and their henchman make up the dark evil as they contrive to control. The horror of the “slasher” who kills young Irish girls, the rioters who roam the streets killing and burning made many dark scenes in the tapestry. They create a terror that makes the heart rate jump into high gear.

Ms. Gabhart’s beautiful, thought-provoking story brings to life a time in American history not often remembered—a time when the right to vote, so taken for granted in our day, was not a given. It was a hard-won privilege. In a unique way, she weaves inspirational bits and pieces into the lives of the characters in this time in history and does it naturally and simply, giving the story a rich texture.

Words Spoken True has subtle foreshadowing, exquisite metaphors, and remarkable characters who have their flaws. Some of them steal the heart, others are frightfully mean, still others are fluff that drift with the whims of society. Most of all, there are those who make a poignant impact and linger in the mind long after the book has been read and put on the shelf, more than likely, to be read again and again.
