Sterling Jeter, Renegade Super Soldier, is fearless, powerful, and wildly unpredictable. His life-threatening mission is to save the beautiful, brilliant astrobiologist Rebecca Burns from ruthless villain Adam Rain. But their immutable mutual attraction threatens to put them in the path of death… or worse…

Once you start this book, you won’t want to put it down.

I loved Lisa Renee Jones’ Harlequin Blaze books. When I got the chance to read this book, I jumped. I’m glad I did. Ms. Jones’ writing flows and buoys the reader from scene to scene. I needed to know what was going to happen next and how it would work out. Every time I thought I knew what was going to happen, Ms. Jones threw me a curve ball that completely worked for the story. I stayed up way too late and read furiously. It was worth it!

The plot is deliciously layered and complicated. This isn’t the kind of book you’d put down and walk away from. Why? Coming back, you’d need to do some heavy re-reading. They lose their regular bonuses viagra discount prices and get low pay, which can pile up abundant amount of anxiety, stress and even depression. As a result, the demand for this drug somehow decreased while the number of males who need this continue to spike up. buy cialis professional Tadalista is indeed a beneficial medicine for men who suffer from erectile cute-n-tiny.com ordine cialis on line dysfunction. Low body image Negative thinking about one’s body image can give rise to inferiority complex and low self-esteem are major contributions to viagra generic online the condition. That’s not a bad thing. I read this book over and over. Just keep in mind, to keep the plot twists and characters straight, a straight-through read is recommended.

Rebecca is a sweet character. An astrobiologist, she’s darned smart. She’s also got a deadly disease–cancer. Readers can relate to her struggle. She wants to be well, but she wants to help people. And then there’s the slight distraction of Sterling. I’m telling you, if I had a Sterling of my own to save me…I’d jump on him. Yeah, he’s that super sexy, soldier, can kick your butt type of guy I can’t get enough of. The motivations in the book aren’t always disclosed right away and it works so well. I didn’t want to know everything up front. I wanted the story to slowy unfold and Ms. Jones did it just right.

If you want a book with the right amounts of action, suspense, and engaging characters, then this book is one not to miss!

When her sister is left at the altar, Zoe Balis takes the bride’s unused ticket for the honeymoon cruise. But she didn’t count on sharing a cabin with the man who broke her heart ten years ago!

Army medic Nate Hyatt never told Zoe the real reason he dumped her. And he never stopped dreaming about the girl he left behind. Could this voyage be his chance to fix the worst mistake he ever made?

Once aboard, Zoe and Nate team up on an island-hopping treasure hunt. The stakes grow higher with each of Zoe’s mysterious brushes with death. They race to discover why she’s a target and who’s behind it.

Zoe’s never gotten over her first love. Can Nate breach her defenses and suture her broken heart? Grab a deck chair and see if they survive the stormy relationship seas as they cruise toward love!

You can let go of the past, but what happens when the past doesn’t let go of you? Zoe Balis doesn’t have much of a chance to fully let go of the heartbreak her first love caused her all those years ago. Wherever she goes, there’s a constant reminder that Nate Hyatt stood her up at prom. Why does everyone have to bring up what happened all the time?

And now, Zoe has to face Nate. At her sister’s wedding. Or, almost wedding. What a tense moment when Nate is the one to break the news to the bride and surrounding family about the groom’s cold feet. Talk about awkward! Zoe already hates him, and then he has to be the bearer of bad news? I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes at that moment.

Then it only gets better from there! The two are stuck sharing a cabin on a cruise meant for the honeymooners! More tension! Ms. Barth kicks it up a notch as the storyline progresses. Let the fun begin, right? Fun…what fun? Not in Nate’s eyes, and certainly not in Zoe’s. The situation is disastrous!

Cruising Toward Love doesn’t have just one conflicted couple, but two. Along for the ride on the cruise is a crew member, Reed, and a passenger named Callie. Ginseng tonic sildenafil online consists of anti-fatigue properties that upsurge the gastrointestinal mobility and metabolic acceleration of the body. She doesn’t flaunt the fact that she’s rich, but she doesn’t care who knows it. Zoe and Callie meet up on the ship, while Nate and Reed hit it off, and often times in the book the four characters are doing activities together aboard the ship. Callie and Reed know the story between Zoe and Nate, or at least, know one person’s side of it. I love that this book has a second romance within it. Ms. Barth creates characters that are real. Readers can relate to them, good and bad.

I love how the cruise brings Zoe and Nate together. The author does a wonderful job in keeping the conflict active, but not overdone. Their problems take time to resolve, and though Zoe was snappish through the first part of the book, it didn’t stick the whole time. She allowed herself to be open and friendly with Nate after while, even before things got better for the two.

Even though Zoe’s sister was only in the beginning part of the story, her character remained in my mind, and I’m hoping that sometime in the future she gets her own happily ever after. She deserves it.

There’s a bit of a suspenseful sub plot in the story. It’s not the main focus of the book, but it does add a little extra intrigue. I enjoyed this fun, witty, and romantic novel. Readers, if you enjoy a story with a reunited couple, then cruise towards your nearest online outlet and get yourself a copy of this book!

Gillian Forrester spent most of her life running from who and what she came from. Until Miles came along. From the moment she held the tiny newborn her older sister didn’t want, Gillian stopped running and began to build a life for herself and her adopted son. Now, thirteen years later, as Gillian’s sister lay dying, she reveals the father’s identity and makes Gillian promise to find him.

Adrian Brown is the epitome of the successful rock star. He’s seen and done it all, with few regrets. It takes a lot to shock him but the bombshell that he has a thirteen-year-old son rocks his world. And Adrian is even more surprised when the buttoned-up, elegant woman who’s raising Miles snags his erotic and romantic attention.

The last thing Gillian expected was to find herself getting hot and heavy with a person like Adrian. But as much as she wants to open up and give herself fully to this amazing man, she’s afraid the secrets of her past and Adrian’s problems with trusting people may keep them apart for good. If love isn’t enough can they find the trust they need?

I have always felt in choosing a book, the blurb on the back is so important, the author is always a consideration and the little excerpts that you find on blog is a great resource. Never in all my years have I chosen a book just by looking at the cover…until now. Wow!! Just seeing this cover, I wanted to know the story of this man. Then I realize it is the work of Lauren Dane, and then I find it is the finale of her Brown family saga. This is Adrian’s story–sexy, studly Adrian the rock star whom I have followed for three books. I am a happy woman!!

Super rock star Adrian Brown is just returning to the stage after a self imposed exile to retool, to reboot, to reacquaint himself with the family he adores. He is home, doing what he loves the most. Gillian Forrester is the perfect mom but she is a mom by no choice of her own, and is raising her sister Tina’s child. Thirteen years later on her death bed, Tina finally tells Gillian the name of the father and makes her promise to contact him. How does she explain this to her child but most importantly how does she explain this to his father?

Believing she is about to blackmail him, Adrian reluctantly meets with Gillian and her son and begins a relationship that is going to totally change his life. Surrounded by all the Browns and their extended families, Gillian and Miles become the center of Adrian’s life and the direction of his future. Not exactly getting off with a great start, Gillian and Adrian find a connection and an attraction that brings them together not only as parents but as lovers as well. Adrian is the dark, sexy, dirty talker that Gillian longs for in her bed and she becomes the angel that stirs his emotions and desires so much that he cannot stay away from her.

Nobody writes family like Lauren Dane. The Browns are an eclectic group of loving individuals that leap off of every page. They are personable, attractive, comforting and their family dynamic is real and relatable. At every turn they draw you in and keep you here. There is never an uncomfortable moment, or regret their movements and decisions. I must admit after developing somewhat of a relationship with the Browns and with Lauren Dane, her character of Gillian is not exactly personable or endearing at first. She is distant, combative and even a little snobbish, but the continued attention and determination of the Browns soften her exterior and her heart. It is a treat to watch the defensive walls built by both of the characters slowly come tumbling down.

When it comes to family drama and romance you will never go wrong with a Lauren Dane novel. This is one of her best!!

Seeking sanctuary for her people, an Ice Dragon Queen ensnares a Captain of the Guard.

On a boring reconnaissance flight for his laird, Captain of the Guard Taggert Stuart spots a pale dragon under attack by wraiths. After the rescue, he learns the dragon hails from the northlands of the Ice Dragons and is their Queen.

Fleeing the destruction of her home, Ice Queen Kristjana McDrakken races to Scotland to seek sanctuary from Laird Liam McDrakken. Sensual feelings flare between Queen and Captain. Both ply for leadership in the bedroom, but an Ice Queen may only mate another with Ice in their bloodline. This doesn’t bode well for a dragon with Fire in his blood.

In the midst of anger, can these two find a way to blend the bloodlines?

Dragon Sanctuary is Nicole Dennis’ third visit with the McDrakken warriors and their unique world. Each of the books can stand alone, but the world becomes richer with each book, and we meet many characters again. I had read the first book, and was hoping Ms. Dennis would bring more of her fantastic dragons to life.

On routine patrol, Fire dragon Taggert Stuart and his men encounter a Wraith attack on a group of dragons, and they fly to the aid of the strangers. Once the enemy is routed, Tagg leads the bedraggled group to his Laird’s castle for protection. Tagg feels an attraction to the female that he has carried back, and discovers she is an Ice dragon, and more than that, she is their queen.

When the Laird hears the story of what befell the Ices, he offers sanctuary to the remaining dragons. Of the original five hundred of the Ice Dragons, only fifty survive the betrayal of one of their own, who has been turned by promises of great power by the Wraiths. Kristjana feels safe with Tagg, and the passion rises quickly between them. Tagg feels he has finally found is true mate, but is hurt when Jana tells him that, although she wants and cares deeply for him, she must mate with an Ice dragon for the sake of her people. What neither of them know is that there is Ice blood in Taggert’s lineage, and before they can explore the possibilities, Jana is taken by the traitor as an offering to the Wraiths seeking to destroy the dragons.

Will Tagg be able to save Jana, and convince her he is the mate for her? Will these two find out the truth and mix the bloodlines as well as their lives? Can these two find the happy ever after they deserve?

This is a world filled with danger and betrayal, but with passion and loyalty as well. The characters are strong and well crafted, and these are folks I want to spend more time with.

Kristjana ‘Jana’ McDrakken is a proud and strong leader of her people. She is also a woman who has suffered a betrayal by one of her own, and is trying to come to terms with the loss of most of her people as well as the destruction of her home. She is drawn to Tagg deep in her heart, but also feel the need to keep her people safe and together. I enjoyed watching as Jana realized that she could be both Queen and woman, and have all she desired.

Taggert ‘Tagg’ Stuart is a strong warrior, brave and ready to defend those who need it. He doesn’t expect to have his mate drop out of the skies into his arms in a Wraith attack, but he is more than happy to explore the feelings between him and Jana. I felt his hurt when Jana told him that she needed to mate with a dragon with Ice bloodlines, and watched as he came to terms with her decision. I loved it when he decided that, bloodline or not, he would prove to her that he was the only one for her, once she was endangered again.

There are several intriguing twists her, and there is a bit of political wrangling going on behind the scenes. The secondary characters are well defined, and they have been seen before in the first two books of the series. There are a couple of delightful surprises here, and I enjoyed catching up with earlier characters to see how they have been. This is for those who like fantasy and dragons along with scorching hot romance in their reading lives. I recommend this, and the others in the series as well.

Collin and Olivia are very much alike, with their stubborn, hard-headed attitudes. The constant bickering then back and forth banter continues throughout the book.

Circle of Desire is a fast paced romantic suspense. There’s strong language and violence, so be aware if you’re not into darker suspense books. The story is executed nicely, keeping readers on a wild goose chase for answers, and you never know what will happen next. This isn’t a typical love story. Olivia and Collin are very rough with each other, and in their own way, they show their feelings through that. It isn’t until much further into the novel that the two show a little bit more on the softer side of emotions.

The roughness and bickering at times was a little overdone, but overall, this intense story sizzled, and I enjoyed the high amount of suspense, secrecy, and deception. The sex scenes are very hot, pretty graphic but not quite to the extent of erotic. The characters could be considered tortured hero and heroine. I’m looking forward to reading the sequel when it comes out.

If you enjoy a dark, edgy romantic suspense, then you may want to consider adding Circle of Desire to your reading list.

Wednesday Spotlight: Rose Anderson

What a journey I’ve been on. From the moment I sat down and put my goals on paper last summer, I was determined to become an author. I’ve been writing for years – large and small stories across genres, newsletters, official documents, and magazine articles. Exactly one year ago this past July I was a writer. A year later, I am an author. I can’t say enough about putting your goals on paper. That particular concept was a new one for me and it just blows me away that it works!

The dream that began as compiled external stimuli plied my brain and fired the synapses. Changing form, this force was then sent by electrical impulse along the nerves that ran outward from my spine, branching from the center cord like limbs on a tree. These electrically-charged nerves sent impulses that directed my muscles. These contracted and my fingers hovered over my keyboard with potential energy until the words were found. More electrical impulses coursed through my body as thought energy formed into written words. Armed with this knowledge and zapped to attention by current, my muscles worked my fingers and typed down the goal. All the while the concert of my bodily functions played on in the background making sure both muscle and brain had enough fuel and oxygen to facilitate the remarkable electrical device that is my body.

Electrical device? Yes, a remarkable machine but so much more than that. The whole of me is a dream facilitator. Along the way, the initial electrical energy of thought dramatically changed form. It rode the interstate of my central nervous system, changed form again as it animated my muscles, then changed form again as I typed my goals. And what occurred was not just writing down a thought. No, it was more than that. It was the First Law of Thermodynamics in play. Energy only changes form, it never disappears. There was no way the dream couldn’t be realized. The energy was in play because I released it on the world.

I treated that dream like a career before the career even started. It’s my job. From the bored expression on my dog’s precious face, to chores that mount whether I’m engaged elsewhere or not, my days are crammed tight with tasks that must get done regardless if my bad guy is in the middle of some diabolical plot or my lovers are amorously engaged. ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Have you ever fallen so deeply in love with the characters in a romance novel that thoughts of them linger long after the last page is turned? Have you ever been so completely immersed in a love scene that you’d swear you’ve just been kissed or more? Meet Rose Anderson’s strong, confident heroines and be seduced by compelling heroes you’ll wish were there beside you. Come see how their lives intertwine and through their stories discover love profound. From her current novels Hermes Online and Dreamscape, to the passionate stories that follow, this new author will sweep you away on a sensual tide of memorable story-telling.

People ask how I came to write romance stories of the sort. As I didn’t start out with this genre in mind, I’ve asked myself that very thing! I’ve several reasons actually, too many to list all of them here. First of all, I like seduction. That’s the reason I enjoy reading my favorite romance authors. Written seduction in a romance novel is a mind game, a ring-side seat to observe the psychological metamorphosis of the characters. Secondly, I like the physics of it. There comes a point where the connection between characters ignites into something neither has any control over–a 451° point of complete surrender that leads to total combustion. Lastly, because seduction is a cerebral thing, I find erotic romance to be the natural progression of the romance story.

I hope my imagery transports the reader to a time and place where, through the magic and power of words, they’re able to be inside the mind of the characters. Often from this intimate vantage point, the reader experiences the seductive transformation that will eventually send the hero and heroine hurtling toward the precipice. Come be the voyeur to their printed lives.

Open yourself and allow my words to take you there. Draw close as coals ignite and feel the climax build as if you yourself are there being plied with firm hands and soft kisses. And when all is absorbed and endured and nerves are strung bow tight, release this most cerebral orgasm and free fall to earth.

I hope you enjoy the flights of fancy I’ve created. When the last page is turned and the lovers roll into each others’ arms truly spent, know that I just may have another ember tucked away to warm your senses.

Casey is a journalist who is hiding in California after exposing a man’s activities and background and ruining his life. He has threatened to killer her, so she’s under an assumed name and staying at a relative’s beach home. But is she safe?

Ms. Goddard has created a fast tale with two major points of danger that will keep you on your toes as you follow the story line. Her protagonists are intelligent, they believe in doing the right thing despite the risks, and are attracted to each other. A dragon’s fate will seal their love…or destroy their future.

When Kavin Hunter appears on her doorstep to recruit her into the king’s guard, Saraphina Raven knows her secret—an unwanted telepathic ability—has caught the attention of the king. If she refuses to use her gift to discover who’s plotting against the throne, her last link to her royal heritage will be forcibly stripped away. It’s a threat that’s guaranteed to work. She’d do anything, even help the king that deserted her family, to preserve the only connection to her past.

It’s a past Kavin is all too familiar with. Once upon a time, his brother was betrothed to Saraphina, until the raid that destroyed her family. Now Kavin struggles with his own part in the mess her life has become. And a growing connection made stronger by the power of his healing touch. Though his loyalty lies with the king, Saraphina is becoming the woman of his heart. And nothing, not even a dragon in disguise, will stand in the way of their love.

Ravenborne has everything I look for in a book: strong, likeable, honorable characters; compelling story line; and heart pounding romance based on mutual respect and love instead of mere physical attraction. It also has hidden agendas, good-guys who might be bad-guys, bad-guys who might be good-guys, characters whose loyalty is in question until the very end, snappy dialogue, and a very interesting and believable alternate reality. Oh…and it has dragons.

It even starts out well. Normally, I dislike prologues, but this prologue was everything a prologue should be—captivating and necessary. It’s a claim not many prologues can make. I liked Sara from the start. She’s a realist who faces adversity, learns what she can and moves on without unnecessary whining. From princess to servant, she’s a strong woman who refuses to use her newly developed gift of telepathy for mental intrusion–mind rape. She blocks others thoughts as much as possible out of respect for individual privacy. Her strong moral standards combined with human emotions and frailties make Sara a real person. She’s someone I’d like as a friend.

Kavin Hunter is the perfect strong dedicated soldier. He’s alternately authoritarian and considerate. He’s an honorable guy with real guy strengths and real guy flaws. It’s easy to see how Sara falls for him. His high levels of loyalty and honor are also the characteristics that cause him the most personal angst. I love it when a character’s strengths are also his weaknesses.

Ravenborne is the novel I was hoping Chandra Ryan would write when I reviewed her short story Dragonborne. Thank you, Ms. Ryan! More please.

Going home could be deadly.

Centuries have passed. While family has come and gone, cat shifter Zareb has stayed strong to fight against an evil that keeps coming back. It’s his duty as a guardian and he never lets the Ancients down. Not even when he has to go against his fellow guardian. It is a risk he was willing to take – until he meets the woman who could change his world.

Joy Rockwell is pissed at the universe. Or is she? The pull from the Vessel is strong. It drags her down and brings out her mean side. Although she’s journeying to Africa with virtual strangers, she knows in her heart that this is where she is meant to be.

Two strong individuals must fight their way through the jungles of Africa to put an end to the hold the Vessel has over the shifters before it’s too late. Will they fall in love along the way? Or will they be torn apart by circumstances beyond their control?

Origins is the fourth book in Jambrea Jo Jones’ intriguing series, Seeds of Dawn.

A plane crash, a dead pilot, and betrayal by an old friend-all come into play when Joy, Ive, Djimon and Zareb travel to Africa to return the evil Vessel to where it was found. They must succeed in this or the world could be in more danger than anyone can imagine.

When the group is ambushed, Joy and her mate Zareb are separated from Ive and Djimon in the African jungle where Zareb grew up. Joy and Zareb realize that they have to make a decision: rescue Ive and Djimon or continue on their original path to destroy the Vessel. When the Ancients speak to Zareb, they convince him that Djimon’s safety is no longer Zareb’s responsibility and they must continue on their quest to return the Vessel to its original resting place.

When they are joined by one of Zareb’s old friends, Zareb takes it as a sign that success is at hand. Baakir, however, betrays the trust Zareb and Joy show him, at least at first. When Joy experiences a shift into panther, without the mating ritual, Zareb is stunned to discover what he has done. But he is determined to keep his mate safe, and awed at her strength in both forms. The goal of treatment is to correct the male impotence ordine cialis on line problem. How did they online purchase viagra know what buoyancy is and how to use it? The answer for the Brothers was quite simple: they had observed ash rising in paper fires (the Montgolfier family traditionally was a family of paper manufacturers). It flushes out extra fluid accumulated in body and get levitra prices rid of the effect of negative emotions from mind to enhance the level of participation and enjoyment in lovemaking. Most of the colleges and driver’s impotency classes on-line also will offer pages packed with resources, or books to review, which may assist you throughout http://pharma-bi.com/2011/09/bridging-the-dashboard-communication-gap/ viagra sans prescription the exams, schoolwork assignments, and alternative work that’s needed in order to complete the glasses. Can Joy and Zareb make it through the jungle to destroy the Vessel? Can they trust the about face of Baakir, and save Ive and Djimon? Can they all make it back to the Masters pack and begin their new lives?

This takes the story back to its source, in Africa, in the time when Zareb and Djimon were young, and being trained to be guardians, before they were shifters. There is a marvelous use of flashbacks in this one, with Zareb remembering the good times and the bad times before and after the Vessel drew them to it. I loved these glimpses into a time before the evil was loose, and seeing how all of this started.

Joy Rockwell is strong and determined, and loyal to those she cares for. She is also strong in magic, and a good match for the strength of Zareb. I love her sassy attitude and her take no prisoners approach to life. I liked that, although she is new to the shifter community, she trusts in her mate completely and without question. I love that they share power, to the benefit of both, and that she is willing to step back when Zareb asks. I also love her determination to convince Zareb that he is worthy of having a mate, namely her.

Zareb is strong, and carries a burden of guilt that keeps him from being happy. He feels unworthy of Joy and her love, and he doubts himself and his mission. I liked the fact that Zareb was willing to let Joy take the lead at times in their relationship, not needing to be the big strong man all the time. There is a sharing of power and of souls that is unique to these two, and it is possible because his inner strength and his sense of the past and its connection to the present.

This is a fast paced adventure, with danger around every turn in the path for Joy and Zareb and their friends. The passion in this one explodes off the page early and often, and it was impossible to put down. Ms. Jones raises the heat level in this with several hot scenes, both in the jungle, and again back in civilization.

Origins finally gives the reader a look into where and how events have unfolded, and offers a glimpse into a possible future for the Masters pack and all shifters. The supporting cast is perfect in this one, and I enjoyed looking at the progress of these characters as they find their unique place in the pack. I recommend that this series be read in order to get the whole picture of what is happening in the world of passion and magic and power.
