Lady Guinevere dreams of frolicking naked with twin warriors. She knows these dreams cannot come true, and she must choose only one warrior to wed. She selects the stoic elder brother, bidding a regret-filled farewell to her other laughing lord.

Except her wedding night isn’t the end of their relationship, but a new beginning. The brothers share everything, and Guinevere is about to live out her deepest, darkest fantasies. Will she be woman enough to tame her two wild dragon lords?

Cynthia Sax has another winner on her hands with Her Dragon Lords. I’m a fan and was expecting her usual wit, short sharp prose, and gift for world building that effortlessly takes me out of my present and into her fantasy. She didn’t disappoint me.

The only problem is that Her Dragon Lords is too dang short. It’s a good story but it would have been great if there had been more time to explore the male leads and their back-story. These are truly unique fellows and I wanted more of their world. I was very much viagra prices dejected and almost lost hope in medications that would prevent hair loss. Perhaps, to some, but it is your health and disorders purchase cialis online which make you so. There’s also some head-hopping but it was easy to figure out what was what in this intriguing world. Did I use the word imaginative already? Ms. Sax has created a fascinating world and I loved every minute I spent in it. The book starts with an inventive and hot dream sequence that grabbed my attention, and never let go. The sense of belonging and contentment the heroine eventually experiences was sigh-inducing and terrific.

Despite the book’s short length, the villian wasn’t one-dimensional and was redeemable. Mindless evil’s easy to write. Evil with layers isn’t, and I tip my hat to Ms. Sax.

Storm lord’s daughter Cecily Sutton’s powers over sea and sky have put her life at risk. Giles Beaumont is reluctant to protect her, until he falls under her enchanting spell…

If a reader appreciates a book filled with pictures painted with words, and details that animate a world within your mind, then look no further than the amazing book by the talented Ms. Kennedy.

The Lady of the Storm is a book worth spending the time with. I was first introduced to this alternate and fantastical England with The Fire Lord’s Lover. The world building astounded me then and I couldn’t imagine how much more could be added; it was already so rich. Ms. Kennedy had it covered. In this latest adventure, the author introduced me to a new quest, new characters, and new obstacles for the hero and heroine to overcome. I can also assure readers that this is a terrific stand alone read.

Readers of the first book will understand the references to ‘being tested” and know that it’s not a good thing. For those who are visiting for the first time with this story, enough gets shared during character dialogue to understand why it’s to be feared. The explanations of why there is a rebellion are, again, naturally presented in the due course of events.

The author first sets up the relationship between Giles and Cecily by delving into their past and sharing the things that made them the people they are. By the time the tale begins in earnest, I understood the internal conflicts that tore them apart inside, and the external conflict that affected not just them but all of their English countrymen. It’s a fight for independence and reclamation of their life and lands.

Cecily is delightfully stubborn yet is a tender hearted lady. She only allows herself to accept the magic inside of her that helps others or causes no harm. There’s a reason for that and it’s believable. Her magic also gets employed as a tool to move the plot along. I liked how the author molded a young sheltered girl into a woman that’s a force to be reckoned with. The transition was detailed in such a way that I felt like I was shadowing the heroine every step of the way. Cecily inadvertently trained herself for her future and only after reading this book will readers understand what I mean. Magic is the world she was born into, but not all that she knows.

Giles’s character is so sweet. I don’t mean he’s a pansy. It also helps the central nervous system to relax and widen, allowing more blood to you can try here generika viagra flow out and softening the penile erection. Contact your doctor if generic levitra online http://icks.org/n/data/conference/1482731615_report_file.pdf erection continues longer than four hours. I refer to him being a man who fell in love when he was but a kid and didn’t or couldn’t recognize the emotion for what it was. His actions speak loud and clear to what is in his heart. Ms. Kennedy put him through the wringer that sorely tested his resolve and his love by having something happen to him that crushed his spirit. Yet, though his words, harshly and firmly spoken, and his chilling and isolationist silence made his choice clear, his actions eventually speak louder than the storms his lady can call.

I sensed a bit of a Beauty and the Beast theme being interwoven through this fantasy. It’s a classic element and I enjoyed the author’s unique way of breathing new life into an old but treasured storytelling idea. Certainly it’s romantic and emotional and it touched me right where the author intended. It was well written and effective and again proved just how special Cecily was.

The romance is at the heart of this book but it’s tempered with the intrigue, suspense and light drama that the hero and heroine have to deal with before they can reach their happy ever after. The villain wasn’t a specific all encompassing target like it was in the first book. In The Lady of the Storm, there are villains and there are confrontations, bloody ones at that, but this tale is more about Cecily and Giles coming to an understanding about each other in spite of it all. Realizing they love each other in the midst of everything and battling for that love to survive against evil magical odds made for an entertaining read.

Secondary characters play vital roles in helping the hero and heroine get to where they need to be and do what had to be done. Some of them I wanted to toss into a smelly moat and others I wanted to hug. They were all well developed and brought the story into more vivid life. The writing was superb; the author paid close attention to detail without letting the story stagnant and it never gets bogged down. The pace was crisp, the dialogue true to the character’s personalities, and every now and again, a spot of humor and tenderness smoothed away any rough edges.

The Lady of the Storm is another whirlwind ride into the magical chaos that is England – a world that is fascinating as well as dangerous. Thanks to the stellar writing talents of Ms. Kennedy, I have a new series that will be an auto-buy for me. As real as the story seems when I’m in the midst of it, I am so glad no fire demons will actually jump out at me. However, I wouldn’t mind a Giles of my own, without that spooky sword of his, that is. Thank you, Ms. Kennedy, for a wild reading experience and for introducing me to a heroine and hero I enjoyed getting to know.

Salome Jones has been sent on a forced vacation by her overworked staff. Canticus has been exiled because he won’t play nice with the women administrators who oversee the games on his planet. When the two of them end up stuck in the same hotel suite, sparks fly. So do clothes and limbs. Can the two arrive at a solution that will allow them to continue their sexual explorations?

This tale makes no apologies for its exploration of man versus woman and the sheer sexual fun and gleeful exuberance found within.

And what is it with a caveman approach that turns otherwise sophisticated women into frenzied cats in heat? Granted, Ms. Gaines description of Canticus is positively drool-worthy. I mean, a woman has to be half asleep not to appreciate the visual the author paints with her words. And I have no idea why I get the giggles with heroes who used grunted one word possessive speech while at the same time, shiver with great anticipation. The hero did all that to me and more.

Salome is a woman in charge. She’s so over the top that her employees mutinied. There’s no one to rein her in, to make her stop and smell the roses or enjoy the very basics that life has to offer. She’s so driven; I think she forgot how to be a woman. Canticus is going to change all that with style and sexy precision. In 1944, when streptomycin, an antibiotic, had been developed, scientific researchers intensely talked about the issue involving ototoxicity due to the fact that a number of individuals are order levitra of the estimation that stern nodular acne can in addition be a cause of erectile dysfunction. In fact that is what this reminds me of: a sexier version of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew. Except I don’t think Mr. Shakespeare ever thought of doing it the way Canticus did. Well, maybe he did, but he certainly couldn’t write about it. I’m so glad I live in the times that I do because I’d be missing out on a lot of fun.

Some readers might be put off by how fast Salome lets Canticus do his manly thing but keep in mind, this is a short story and things have to move fast. This is a great little tale for readers who need a quick fix of passion and unbridled satisfaction without a lot of emotional angst and baggage to drag it down.

So that it’s not too fluffy a read, the author does have both Canticus and Salome both learning a lesson and finding what they need from and in the other. The hero and heroine both get their ways in a mutual and satisfactory arrangement.

Mirror, Mirror: Gladiator is so cute and magical. It’s lighthearted, positive and exactly what I was in the mood for. Sometimes, all I want to do is kick back and just read just for the sake of entertainment and pleasure. This book delivered exactly what I wanted, like a pinch of sugar mixed with chili peppers – sweet and hot all at the same time.

Kate is hardly an average gal in the old west. She dresses in men’s trousers, speaks Hupa Indian, and pursues animal medicine—a male vocation. Why should it surprise her to find herself in a shocking, unconventional relationship with two drop-dead-sexy cowboys?

William is trying to save his failing ranch by taming wild mustangs with native Indian methods to keep things running while he rebuilds his cattle herd. Jack is the muscled ranch hand who has stuck by William through thick and thin—and stirs something inside of William that he’s never felt for a man. Does Kate, the wild beauty who has lassoed their hearts, have room in hers for them both? And can their love survive a lynch mob determined to see Kate and William hung for a crime they didn’t commit?

Taming wild mustangs by moonlight seems like child’s play next to falling in love, building your ranch and escaping the hangman’s noose.

William Tyler will have to fight for the right to love the woman as well as the man who has captured his heart. The old West could be a harsh place to live but it became significantly harder when a cattle rustler makes trouble for Will, Kate and Jack. Both Will and Kate already have townsfolk looking at them with doubt and suspicion, for separate reasons. They’ll have to trust in one another as well as their mutual love for Jack if they want to prove their innocence.

Author J. Rose Allister has penned a terrific story of love, sacrifice and trust. Her characters inspire sympathy in the reader for their individual stories as well as cheer for their collective HEA. The drugs should be canadian viagra online consumed an hour before an intimacy and effects last for about 4-6 hours. It’s easy to see that Ms. Allister has a love for the historical old west era. The characters dialogue, dress and mannerism are consistent to the time period and keep the reader engaged in the story.

William and Kate’s love for one another feels very genuine for the story and while I did enjoy the M/M interaction as well as Jack’s character, his part in this triad relationship wasn’t quite as believable. The story would have been just as nice if he had simply been the ranch hand that never loses faith in his employer. Jack has obviously had M/M experiences prior to joining in with Will and Kate. How easily William is willing to go all the way, when M/M was likely more taboo than it is today, was almost too easy. Having said that, Ms. Allister writes the scenes very well and they are HOT! I also appreciated that neither William nor Kate were willing to have physical interaction without Jack present.

If you love a good historical with some exciting action, a bit of mystery and a terrific love story, pick up a copy of To Tame a Wild Mustang. This was time well spent and I’ll be watching to see what Ms. Allister has for us next!

Cam doesn’t know if he’s landed in Heaven or Hell. Literally.

Reader Advisory: Cam is tempted—hard—by a hot and heavy performance of F/F sex involving a couple of devilishly sexy creatures.

Who would have thought that such a short story could pack such a powerful wallop?

Last Temptation is an absolutely brilliant story, extremely well written, incredibly moving and erotic as hell! Poignant, passionate and remarkable, it tells of a contest of wills, as heaven and hell fight for the soul of a less than perfect war veteran, driven to suicide by the ravages and effects of war. Nick Radford is a reluctant werewolf who’s been fighting the Beast within for nearly 500 years. He’s never killed a human, but the Beast is gaining strength and Nick may not be able to ward off his inner demon much longer.

Kyla Yaeger is an elite were-hunter with a scarred past. Her life’s mission is to slay the werewolves that slaughtered her parents. Her quest has brought her to Maine, where she’s been summoned to destroy the werewolf terrorizing the quaint little village of Heavensent. The last thing she needs is to get distracted by her mysterious—not to mention hunky—new neighbor, Nick Radford.

By the time Kyla learns Nick is her target, she’s already fallen for him, making her task of killing him that much harder. She is torn between her love for him and her duty to kill her sworn enemy. Nick fights his forbidden love for Kyla, knowing she is duty-bound to kill him. Kyla and Nick must join forces to fight an even bigger threat—one that will destroy all humanity. Only by their combined powers, can they destroy the evil and bring an end to a centuries old curse.

Lust and vengeance, redemption and mayhem come to a head in this riveting read full of demons, wolves and one very determined heroine.

Kyla is a werewolf hunter who is closing in on her prey. She tracks him to this little tiny town in Maine but she gets a lot more than she bargained for. She’s also prone to visions but this time they’re freaking her out because they’re different than she’s ever experienced. I figured out long before she did why that was. A couple of characters drop hints here and there, but Kyla is so focused on the hunt and her own internal conflicts, she can’t see the forest for the trees. Her emotions are pulled like taffy in many directions but they seem to be heading in one direction. I thought she was a strong personality, dedicated and loyal to her friend and co-worker, Todd.

The hero, Nick, is Kyla’s focus. He confuses her and confounds her, with good reason. Nick is in jeopardy from more than the silver bullets that the heroine has in her arsenal. He has been fighting the good fight for centuries. He is noble, caring, determined and defines ‘tortured hero’. He’s given up hope and knows this town is his last stand. He is going to make things right and if he has to die to do so, he will. What’s not to like about a guy who believes himself irredeemable and a lost cause but will fight for justice until the bitter end?

The big stumbling block between the hero and heroine is trust. Neither trusts the other, nor do they have faith in their attraction. There are way too many inconsistencies to their having an easy relationship because there is so much they can’t or won’t tell the other. It’s a great plot conflict, actually. It seemed like it was presented in different ways but it all came down to meaning the same thing. After awhile, I did not enjoy watching them not trust each other, because it let things happen that I felt could have been avoided to some degree. By the time they finally revealed all, it was almost too late, and I was doing a lot of eye-rolling at that part. I wanted to bop Kyla on the head and yell, “Wake up!”, “Get over yourself!” and she eventually does, but not without her making a few stupid moves.

Don’t think Kyla is too stupid to live, she isn’t. She is just overly cocky and I wish there had been someone to give her a reality check. Todd, her friend, wasn’t it. I found out why at the end of the book. Their relationship made a lot more sense after the revelation. Meanwhile, for all her extensive training and years of being the ultimate hunter, she was not impressive. Let me put it this way, if she was hunting a werewolf that was hunting me? I’d want back up.

There were other secondary characters that had serious impact on the telling of this tale. Some were notable and interesting, some were just plain creepy and one I had thought was part of the evil plot, but actually wasn’t. There are some nasty deaths and some nefarious and hedonistic descriptions so it’s pretty intense at times. It has some great suspense and drama with good emotional connections so I had a good time reading this book. I like a book with substance and this book certainly had enough to keep me entertained.

As for the physical side of things between Nick and Kyla, a reader is going to get an eyeful. Seems Ms. Kyla knows what to do with silk ties and bed posts. And Nick sure knows his way around a woman’s body, much to the heroine’s satisfaction. Those scenes were well written and placed to good effect in the book. The bedroom door is wide open so readers will have need of a nice glass of ice water to help them get through it. It was fun.

Cursed Mates has a lot within to appeal to romantic suspense readers who enjoy stories with paranormal flair. It entertains, astounds and even gives a few goose bumps along the way. I’m glad I had a chance to read this tale and am happy with the happily ever after. It’s wonderful to see a tortured hero find his happy and Nick certainly earned his. He was my favorite character.

Cat lived on the marina for most of her life. Her constant joy was working at the Beach Front Amusement Park. Each day, she listened to the melodious voice of Orrick O’Neal, as he sang near her booth. Orrick’s father owns the park and after a horrible divorce, Orrick is picking up his life, bits at a time. Their attraction develops when Cat finds Orrick standing idly on the pier. The divorce has taken a toll and Cat envelops him with affection. After a year of dating, Orrick can’t live without her. She’s smart, sassy, and full of life. However, life is about to change for Orrick. He’s taking a job in Malibu, and can’t bear to leave her. Orrick plans a boat ride to make Cat his bride. This story is based on the poem, The Owl and the Pussy-Cat.

This is a well orchestrated love story with a traditional flair that I greatly appreciated.

The reason that I liked it so much is because of how Ms. LaBlaque had Orrick propose and everything that led up to it. The author showed me how their relationship built, how they connected and what drew them together. There was romantic and heartfelt dialogue to back it up and a grand gesture that has the power to make a romance reader sigh with satisfaction.

The dialogue actually helped draw the line between people who are going places in spite of the odds they fought against, and those that are slackers and bums. When a reader finally meets Digger, they’ll understand. Although Cat, the heroine, had a relative that didn’t seem to think the hero was all that, the author provided opportunities for a reader to make their own judgment. I also appreciated Cat’s strength of character and her compassion.

But after thinking about it, and re-reading certain parts, I think they acted true to themselves. It’s implied that they each took the time to learn about the other and it wasn’t all sex. Sure, Cat gave him some lip, but I could tell there was love behind it. Theirs is going to be a relationship where the heroine isn’t afraid to speak her piece.

The physical relationship isn’t the sole focus of this story. It’s zeroed in on Cat and Orrick, where it should be. Could there have been a bit more? Probably, but neither did I miss it. What there was of it, however, was sweet and hot.

There wasn’t a heavy conflict at all. This was definitely a character driven romance with Cat’s being the primary point of view. The editing was fine. Do I wish that Orrick wasn’t so commanding and manipulating? Yes. I do prefer a more equal footing in a relationship but something tells me that Cat will have no compunction about correcting her man’s behavior when needed. And Orrick is a smart man, he’ll catch on.

Cat’s Desire is a cute and romantic short story that connects with a reader’s feelings. The book has a way of zinging right to the heart of the matter and reaches the emotions inside, making a reader care for both Cat and Orrick. It’s was a refreshing change of pace with an interesting locale. I’m glad I read it.

Okay, I’ll admit it, I have a crazy, lust-infused crush. Brick, the sexy right-winger of the Orlando Vipers, is the star of all my erotic fantasies. Just a glimpse of him has me panting. So when the chance to actually work with this hot hockey player comes along, of course I say yes!

Being a world-class athlete myself, I have a strategic plan to have him all tied up with lust and desperate for me too. The thing is, plans never go smoothly. Especially when my heart pedals right into the vulnerable game of love again—completely unprotected.

Luckily this sinfully delicious superstar is just as hooked on me—phone sex, bondage, anal sex and rude piercings abound. Despite my tactical errors, Brick catches me when I fall, holds me when I cry and pleases me when I need it most. He’s hard on the outside, soft on the inside and plays one hell of determined game when it comes to finding the ultimate satisfaction.

Carly’s every fantasy is about to come true when she finally comes face to face with her bad-boy, hockey-playing obsession. In true Carly style, she takes control of the situation when it becomes clear he is also interested. Her mind is sent on a determined slow seduction of the mind versus becoming another rink-bunny notch on his bedpost. Although a one-night stand with Brick would be nothing short of electrifying, Carly’s looking for more, but Brick doesn’t exactly have a reputation of being tamed. Carly’s controlling and untapped dominate nature is exposed and soon her weaknesses are too.

Brick played a hardcore game both on and off the ice, that is until he met Carly. Their athletic talents brought them together for charity work, but upon seeing Carly for the first time, Brick is immediately drawn to her. She charms him with her unpredictable mind and her athletically appealing body makes it hard to think of anything else. She’s not his usual type and maybe just maybe that’s exactly what he needs.

After reading the first book in the Hot Ice series, I was very unimpressed with Brick’s character. His short role in Phoenix and Brooke’s story, left me with the feeling that this wouldn’t be the last that we see of him and I was anticipating the challenge that his character would no doubt bring in his own story. Therefore, I was completely surprised to see that much of the challenge and frustration didn’t so much come from Brick, but from Carly herself. Of course, there are good reasons for her actions and with the story told from Carly’s point-of-view, it allows the reader to experience all the surprising layers that make-up Brick.

The stories I’ve read by Ms. Harlem have always been entertainingly sizzling reads and Cross-Checked is no exception. The sexual tension is thick and the pacing perfectly matched for connections to form with the characters. Ms. Harlem provided a surprising epilogue, which only leaves me wanting more of the Orlando Vipers and what will no doubt be another scorching read with my favorite fictional hockey team.
