I loved the fast paced plot and enjoyed the lull in the action when the love scenes occurred and, were they ever scorching! I had a hard time putting this book down because I had to know what would happen next.

Not once through the book was I disappointed. From beginning to end each word was worth reading. This book is a modern day Rapunzel. Guilded Cage is perfect if you’re looking for a read that is action packed and has a romantic happily ever after!

The ending of this book was left wide open for a sequel and you will, without a doubt, look forward to seeing these characters in future books.

The history and origin that the author gives the vampires is completely unique to this story and very interesting. It’ll be interesting to see if it’s developed or revealed any further in upcoming books.

If you like paranormal romances, and especially if you enjoy larger than life heroines, you need to check out this book. With demons, witches, warlocks, vampires (the only missing is a shifter!) and lots of laugh out loud moments this is a very fun read.

And, even better, there is also an added bonus at the end if you purchase directly from the publisher – a short story, that ties in with the book, from Nate’s perspective.

The blend of rustic simplicity with the realization of time travel adds a different type of seduction to the lives of this sultry couple.

Amy’s Redemption is one of those multi-layered delights that leaves you breathless with a smile. I felt this long stretch of the three not being together and this being such a short story that it didn’t allow me to really connect with the characters like I’d hoped. I did like other aspects of this story however, like authentic dialogue, good pacing, and the description of the setting.

There’s also an added bonus to this story where the author reveals that Jimmy and Evan might get together too. I think this is a fun read if you’re looking for a different kind of ménage story.

How the mixed up relationships resolve themselves after the potion has worn off is one of the high points of the story. They do all have memories they won’t forget, even if they’d prefer to. The sexual escapades are pretty graphic, but they are integral part of this plot. Some of match-ups are pretty hilarious. Why don’t you get a copy and see if it makes you laugh out loud? This is a well-written, fast-paced short read. Ms. Butler gives just enough information to make the characters believable and keep the reader turning pages. The romance is light and sweet with hints of further involvement. The pacing is wonderful for a short story. There’s enough plot to keep the reader engaged, and the author’s research shines in this delightful story. Nicely done and recommended.
