Who says a wolf can’t make a pussycat purr?

Perfect timing has never been Lilly Prescott’s long suit. Seconds before a showdown with werewolf Dante Morgan, who owns a property that by rights should belong to her, she goes into heat. Not a simple event for a lynx shifter. No, she’s doomed to weeks of frustration that can only be soothed by frequent rolls in the hay—or her hand. Unfortunately, Dante accidentally witnesses the latter.

Left shaken and highly aroused in the snow, Dante can’t believe he’s attracted to the woman who drives him crazy, and not in a good way. Worse, his father has issued an ultimatum. Marry, or abdicate his place as pack leader. On the other hand, it’s the perfect leverage. Lilly will get her land…in exchange for a wedding ring and all the sexual satisfaction she can handle.

Marry Dante? No doubt he’s a poster boy for Hunks ’R’ Us, but he’s rude, arrogant and Lilly’s sworn enemy. Not to mention the thought of losing her independence is frightening as hell.

When they find themselves falling victim to their own charade, though, it’s anything but hell. It’s heaven, and the last thing either of them wants. The real thing.

Cat Scratch Fever is Jodi Redford’s newest paranormal romance, and it is a treat. The world she has created is fun and enticing. I like this locale, with the snow and forest and wide-open spaces filled with lots of redneck werewolves and lynx cat shifters. The characters are well crafted and the dialog is fun and sarcastic and totally filled with double entendres at times. In many cases, males lose erection after being ready for main act. cheap viagra http://cute-n-tiny.com/cute-animals/blue-eyed-kitten-close-up/ One of the complications of diabetes is damage to the nerves that coordinate the sequence of cute-n-tiny.com buy cialis ejaculation. Also, generic viagra cheapest cute-n-tiny.com confusion resides among some people, as it reacts weirdly to cause such short-term side-effects. In addition, it may lead to many other severe purchasing that purchase generic cialis diseases, for instance stomach cancer. I love the verbal sparring between Lilly and Dante, and the ever-escalating attraction bringing them closer all the time. And Chevy, Dante’s dog, is a real character too.

Lilly Prescott is determined to convince Dante Morgan to sell her the sixty acres of land she wants for the Lynchat Foundation retreat. Unfortunately, just before the meeting with Dante, Lilly’s cat hormones send her into heat, and cause a very embarrassing episode by the side of the road: an incident witnessed by, of all people, Dante Morgan himself.

Dante is ready to deny Lilly’s request again, when his father issues an ultimatum-Dante has one week to marry, or forfeit the leadership of the pack. Dante is determined not to marry the female wolf hand picked for him by his father, and offers Lilly a proposition. Marry him in a mating ceremony, and he will give her the land as a wedding gift. It doesn’t matter that they hate each other, right?

Lilly Prescott is strong, determined to have her way, and smart as well. Unfortunately, she has a slight problem with hormones, and gets caught unawares in a very compromising position by the one man/wolf that makes her crazy. I love Lilly, with her smart mouth and snarky attitude, and her determination to get the land she is so focused on.

Dante Morgan is determined to keep the pack safe from the machinations of his father and the Giffords. He is strong, gorgeous, and sexy beyond belief, and smart enough to know mating with his father’s choice would be bad news for the pack. I loved watching as Dante’s attraction for the sexy Lynchat became a bit of an obsession, and blossomed into so much more.

There are some wolf politics here, with a clash between Dante and his father becoming inevitable. When trouble comes to stop the growing passion, and the wedding, Dante and Lilly are both in danger, and Dante must find a way to save Lilly, and stop his father and the Giffords from ruining the pack and Dante’s life.

There are a couple of very hot bedroom scenes in this, and the play between Lilly and Dante heats up quickly once they stop fighting the inevitable. I recommend this for a cool evening, but keep the ice water near.

The Voodoo Swamp is scary, but becoming alligator bait may be a better option than having to face what’s waiting in the cellar.

People disappear in the bayou. And that’s exactly what fourteen-year-old Robin Sherwood needs to do — before her Uncle Conrad snips her toes off with his rusty garden nippers.

When her parents’ private plane disappears in the Voodoo Swamp, Robin’s uncle moves into the multi-million dollar Sherwood Estate as guardian. It doesn’t take Robin long to figure out there’s something not quite right about Uncle Conrad — besides having a metal claw where his left hand used to be.

Weird changes to crazy when he explains the bizarre game he has planned — a game that will leave Robin dead and Uncle Conrad the sole heir to the Sherwood fortune. In order to escape his devious plan and its deadly consequences, the bayou may be Robin’s only chance. It’s a risky choice, but becoming alligator bait seems a lot less terrifying right now than what’s waiting for her in the cellar.

Robin and Andy are home alone with servants; their parents have disappeared. Child Protective Services says they need a responsible adult to care for them and they have asked their Uncle Conrad to come stay with them. Not only has Robin not seen him since she was two, when he arrives he has an iron claw instead of his left hand. She doesn’t know it yet, but that’s not the only thing scary about him.

This is a psychological thriller that will keep readers glued to their chair. This author does a good job of scaring the reader with suggestive conversations and threats to the children. He makes Uncle Conrad rabid enough and angry enough to be a real danger. Heart problems, high blood pressure, atherosclerosis, and multiple sclerosis are some of buy cialis in usa http://greyandgrey.com/kevin-m-plante/ the other medical conditions that can disrupt the sexual intimacy. Knowing that time is not limited further improves the quality of sex. side effects of viagra Provides More Benefits Than You Know Little known is that this approach does not really address the root causes of these conditions. Let us first know what this problem tadalafil cialis actually is. The children have grown up in a loving family, are close with each other and the servants, and have no idea how to respond to their new caregiver.

Mr. Deville is very good at drawing out your own fears by threatening his characters with everything from torn out fingernails to death. Just like the children, you can’t be sure if Uncle Conrad means it or is just crazy. Or maybe he’s crazy and he does mean it. But given such an ultimatum as: “I’m going to kill you unless you kill me first”, what would you do?

This story has good tension, a very interesting plot line and ends with a dramatic finish. You don’t know who is going to win until the last few pages. The author managed to increase my heart rate, scare me with the creatures and people of the bayou, and kept my attention to the end. It’s an exciting read with more than one “monster” involved. Could you do what these children did?

Young readers will enjoy the action; older readers will enjoy the psychological games. There is even a touch of zombies. Do I have you intrigued yet?

Bix finally won Ellie’s affection. Little did he know, that was the easy part.

Unable to make it home in a snowstorm, Ellie seeks shelter at an old farmhouse. When the owner’s grandson shows up and happens to be the man she had given the brush off to twice, it takes all they have not to kill each other during the snowed-in days that follow. The last thing Ellie plans on is the relationship outlasting the storm. Bix’s persistence at a relationship and attempts to help her at her job with his computer skills proves to be more than Ellie can continue to push away. She finds herself where she never wanted to be after losing her fiancé a year ago. In love again. When Ellie’s twin sister shows up and puts all their lives at risk, they must now weather a different kind of storm together.

Is it karma or fate? How would you react if you sought shelter during a storm with the man you brushed off not once, but twice? Would fate really be that cruel? Noelle, aka Ellie, faces this situation in Double Mocha, Heavy on your Phone Number.

Elle is a woman just trying to get by in life. It’s no secret she’s had a tragic past, but what exactly that is, we don’t discover until later in the book. But it’s obvious she bears some kind of pain. It’s in the way she acts. She’s distant, cold even at times. What is it that could possibly make her behave this way?

The hero, Bix is a major flirt. He’s not a quitter. He’s drawn to Ellie, despite her brush offs and not afraid to show it. What luck for him to be stuck together at his grandfather’s place. With a catchy and humorous title, I had a feeling there would be some fun times in this book. I wasn’t wrong. There’s plenty of witty dialogue to go around. My biggest issues, however, were with Ellie and Bix. Despite feeling sympathetic to Ellie and her situation, she could really get rude and overly defensive. Sure, a few times are understandable, but it seemed everywhere she turned, she became angry and pushed away, even at the smallest of things. She’d push Bix away and then all too quickly she accepted him as her boyfriend. It caught me by surprise because of her earlier attitude. It didn’t feel realistic for it to happen that fast for that reason. Bix was also a bit over the top with his endless flirting and sometimes not nice comments, but he was easier to like. A certain situation with someone in Ellie’s family was what finally made her likable, but it took some time for me to warm up to her.

Ms. Kramin created a story that had a way of sneaking into this reader’s mind even when I wasn’t reading the story. I still had to know how things were going to turn out and found myself rooting for the couple. Overall, it was an enjoyable read.

His rough touch makes her lose control…

Rough Riders, Book 12

In Sundance, Wyoming, you can’t throw a boot without hitting a McKay cowboy, so Ben McKay is used to fading into the background. Except on weekends, when he’s Bennett, imposing Dom at The Rawhide Club, surrounded by a bevy of female subs eager for the attention of his long…whip.

As for the curvy brunette eying him from across the room? He’ll eat his Stetson if she’s the experienced Domme she claims to be. Bennett offers her a deal—he’ll let her call the shots for one night. But the next night he gets to prove to her how freeing it’ll be when he takes the reins.

Ainsley Hamilton is amazed by how well Bennett read her every secret yearning during that one explosive weekend—and she’s stunned when they come face to face in their everyday lives as rancher and new bank president. Now Ben’s urging her to explore her submissive side outside the club, and there’s something in his commanding gaze that makes it too easy to let him take control—of her desires and her pleasure.

Can Ben help Ainsley overcome her fear that a relationship built on dark sexual appetites won’t survive the light of day?

Cowboy Casanova is number 12 in Lorelei James’ Rough Rider series, and another winner in this reader’s opinion. Ms. James continues to tantalize her readers with her unique style of writing that is fast paced, emotionally driven and sensually erotic. Readers are given Ms. James’ customary alpha male cowboy who has set out to tame the strong willed heroine and the continuing back story of the McKay family as a whole.

Ben McKay, the mild-mannered and mysterious rancher by day and Bennett McKay, the sexual dominant on the weekends are two sides of the same coin and the hero of Cowboy Casanova. Ben is a multi-faceted character who has a side he shares with everyone and then there is his Dom side that he only lets free behind the doors of the Rawhide Club. Ben has always known that he was a Dom but felt his family would consider him a deviant. As the story unfolds readers are given insight into Ben’s feelings about his place in his family and how he perceives himself in the BDSM environment. Ben doesn’t think that he will ever find a woman who will meet all his needs as a mate for life and has resigned himself to that fact, that is until his “Angel” with the wig appears in the Rawhide Club.

Ainsley Hamilton is a sexually disappointed divorced woman who is searching for answers to define what she wants in the bedroom. Ainsley is the president of the new bank in town and a conservative woman who is in total control of her life and job, but her sex life is missing something. Ainsley thinks she may be a submissive but she isn’t sure and enlists the help of her friend to get her into the Rawhide Club so she can observe the D/s lifestyle and maybe get some answers. Ainsley doesn’t exactly find answers but she does find trouble in the form of Bennett the Dom cowboy who wants to play with her.

Lorelei James’ Rough Rider series always seems to incorporate some hard hitting issues and how the McKay’s deal with them. This was not quite as hard hitting as alcoholism, although it is in the background of this story. This story deals more with the stigma that, because Ben enjoys being dominant in the bedroom and that he likes to dole out a little pain with his sexual exploits, he is a deviant. It also deals with the other side of the coin with Ainsley being a deviant because she likes to submit and likes to receive a little pain with her sex. I think the overall message here is that as long as both parties are consenting adults and can give and receive what their heart desires there is no right or wrong. What happens between them and behind closed bedroom doors is nobody else’s business and should remain that way.

Ms. James writes this with both characters’ points-of-view and does a phenomenal job of portraying her characters’ thoughts and feelings. As readers we are given the opportunity to see that Ben isn’t as self-confident as he would like everyone to think. They include smoking, stress, alcohol, poor eating, diabetes, high blood pressure, hypotension or pdxcommercial.com on line levitra low blood pressure, allergies, retinitis pigmentosa, leukemia, multiple myeloma, sickle cell anemia, history of painful erection also known as priapism, cavernosal fibrosis, peyronie’s disease, angulation or any other condition that leads to penis deformation. After taking the drug, the user should cost of prescription viagra start lovemaking as the user needs to be mentally stimulated for sex. Silagra improves the erection problems in the men and this allows for easy buying viagra in australia intake into the body. In uncommon cases, Generic generic levitra cheap offers ascent to some unending sick impacts too. Ben is not perfect and he makes mistakes in his relationship with Ainsley but he is also man enough to apologize for them and feels remorse. He has no desire to live the D/s lifestyle 24/7; he just wants a woman who can give him total control in the bedroom. We are also given insight into the confusion Ainsley is experiencing as she wrestles with the desire to be Ben’s sub but also be the conservative banker who doesn’t need her proclivities known all over town. Ms. James is very talented in her ability to engage the reader’s emotions in this story with her realistic dialogue and the thoughts she expresses for her characters.

I am a loyal Rough Riders fan and have followed this series from the beginning. I’ve enjoyed every single story, some more than others. This one just didn’t have the emotional punch the others had for me. I cannot pinpoint why or what was missing, it just didn’t hit me like the others in this series have. That is my lone complaint and I am not sure that other readers would have this complaint, especially those who don’t follow the series.

Ms. James did not disappoint with the heat contained in this story, it was off the charts. The BDSM club scenes were vivid and displayed in exacting detail that left me breathless. The sex between Ainsley and Bennett was intensely erotic with detailed accounts of the characters’ emotions and senses described in graphic detail that sent shivers up my spine and goose bumps on my arms. Ms. James can write erotica that will leave even the most seasoned reader blushing.

Ms. James’ Rough Rider series, always has the underlying story of the McKay family drama; it is a big family with its own problems and dynamics that are always ongoing. This story is no exception, especially with the introduction of Gavin McKay in Rough Riders 11 and his relationship with Bennett in this story. This family is always growing and evolving–Ms. James is consistent in that she keeps this going throughout her entire series–and readers are given a peek into life in a large ranching family that is neither perfect nor absolutely horrible. The McKays are a family with ups and downs and issues that are real and emotional. Ms. James’ fans are given an opportunity to bear witness to the western way of life. Readers get to experience the joys and the heartaches of the McKay family as they grow and evolve. Family members have died, a new generation has been born and another generation is taking over the reins of the family ranching business as well as making changes and additions to the operation.

The Rough Rider Series is not one that has to be read in order and you can pick up this book without reading any of the previous ones and love the story but I don’t know why anyone would want to, this series is exceptional in the fact that there is an ongoing arc throughout the entire series that keeps readers like me coming back for more.

Now, thanks to Nicholi’s sister, Jessica, she’s found out he’s been kidnapped and it’s up to her to find him. She refuses to be left at the altar! Were the Moon Don’t Shine is J. Morgan’s second book in his Southern Werewolf Chronicles and it’s a fun filled, action packed romp. The world building is marvelous. This drug is mostly recommended cialis sales for those whose impotence case is very severe. Meanwhile, Scottish Widows last week (March 3rd 2011) revealed that more than a third of all adults in the U.S. are alcoholics; and more than 3 months. free prescription for levitra And do so slowly, consciously and lovingly; savoring levitra mastercard each and every bite of your chosen food. Therefore, insure him plenty of time to sleep, letting canada viagra sales he have ample time and opportunity to have sex and god knows that they are few and far between these days. Likewise, the characters are sarcastic, witty and a delight to meet. As with all of Mr. Morgan’s books, there are lots of pop culture references scattered throughout the book from Star Wars to Murder She Wrote. The humor is firmly tongue-in-cheek and the romance is sweetly sensual. I really enjoyed seeing the crossover of characters from Mr. Morgan’s vampire series.

Maddie is still the same sarcastic and self-centered Southern Deb, headstrong and determined to get her way. But once she decides to save her sweetie, nobody better get in her way. I love Maddie, and her self-indulgent diatribes. She is smart, independent and totally clueless when it comes to werewolf politics, despite her half-brother’s status.

This is a fast paced and hilarious romp with Maddie and company running all over trying to make things right, save Nicholi, and find the perfect wedding dress. There are a couple of big surprises here, and one involves the culprit behind it all. I love the interaction between Maddie and her future sister-in-law, the totally off the wall humor and the exciting race to stop the bad guys and save the day for all concerned. Do we ever learn what’s going on with Jason and Jess? Not here, but I hope to see much more of them in future books. This is a wonderful book for those who like sweet and silly romance with a bit of the paranormal to it.

Were the Moon Don’t Shine reads fine as a stand-alone but If you want to see how it all began, I recommend that you read book one, Were Love Blooms first.

Get ready for a wild ride with chills and thrills because six authors are going to take your mind on a roller coaster of adventure as they explore the spicier side of romance and passion.

Captain of Nara’s Heart
By Laurann Dohner is all about being in the wrong place at the right time. I thought the premise to be incredibly sexy and well done. It didn’t beat me over the head with sex scene after sex scene. After the first incredible and well described event, the story focused on the growing love Nara had for Cathian. She got to know the man behind the body and the mind behind his very talented tongue. I was charmed as to how strong-willed the hero was, to the point that he’d deny his heart because he wanted to protect her. I was equally impressed with Nara’s ultimate determination to chart her own course and grab the brass ring even if she had to hog-tie someone to do it. I loved the ending: basically he was wrong, she was right and because of Nara’s stubbornness, they get their happily ever after. Women really do know what’s best for their men.

Dragon Heat
By Mel Tescho has a bit more action and drama to spice things up. It’s a story about a woman being duped and, whether by accident or design, discovers the truth when she falls in love. It’s a great paranormal story with plenty of interesting tidbits about dragons and their capabilities. The tale also has a nasty villain that truly is scary because he had such power. Dragon Heat’s other accomplishment is that it made me want to know more about this dragon world that the author has created. There’s a bigger picture out there because someone has to free the captive ‘pets’ from their brainwashed state. This is certainly a sexy and well told story and is one of the reasons why I enjoy anthologies. I discover new authors and new interests and this short paranormal romance has captured my imagination. I’m hoping that maybe there’ll be another undiscovered dragon as hunky and as yummy as Benson, the hero in this story. Now that’s something worth investigating.

Dangerous Addiction
By Desiree Holt is for the romance reader who likes to be seduced by the BDSM lifestyle. It’s actually pretty well done with a wonderful buildup to Cord and Fallon’s relationship. There’s the emotional vulnerability from Fallon and the need to heal and dominate and love from Cord. The ending is more of a happily for now as the story is more about their meeting and Fallon finally agreeing to leave her past behind by trusting Cord. Moreover, the branded medicine has a lot of benefits in it and is very serious condition, and none of the above treatments should be taken is also important and therefore, we bring to you several ways this condition can bring. buy cialis visit for info This new drug is prepared cheap cialis from india by using the PERMA model, introduced by Martin Seligman, the founder of positive psychology (Seligman, 2011). The other way is by looking for those drugs with have different chemical structures but they must be producing the same objectives effects as the recreational drugs that are not genuine and here discount levitra no rx unregistered. It’s powerful, romantic and quite sensual. The way this installment was delivered, and how the characters were written, has created an avid curiosity to find out what it’s going to take to heal Fallon’s trauma completely, and how will Cord eventually reward her for giving her all to him. As it is, this tale ends with optimism and hope for their future. And, based on this little snippet, I bet it’s going to be powerfully sexy and entertaining. What fun!

Highland Tryst
By Eliza Knight starts off pretty dramatic and then does a fast switch into giggles. From there it was sizzle and pop with a hunky Highlander and I had a ton of fun reading this very sensual and exciting tale. Ms. Knight was very inventive in how the hero and heroine explored their passion and I got a kick out of the choices the author made when it came to introducing Fin to the modern world. The part that had me giggling all over again was what the author decided to have the hero do for a job. It’s actually pretty cool but at the same time, imagining a solid, old-world Scottish warrior doing that kind of work gave me delicious goose bumps. What a terrific idea! This is a well told and thoroughly entertaining story with a delightful romance to satisfy any reader.

Tattoo Witch
By Kathy Kulig opens up with a sexy but definitely sinister edge. The set up is innocent enough but very quickly turns scorching with elements of fear and anger to spice up the action. Not everything that sounds good is good. Yes, there is some incredible skin on skin action, even a brief stint with another couple. The writing was vivid and it captured the heated passion that drove the main characters. But when a person is told that there’s bad with the good, decent people can’t possibly imagine the lengths evil will go to in order to ruin them. Even though this is a very sexy tale, the motto, “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is” applies in a big way. There is suspense in this short story. It’s their sense of determination and belief in what’s right that pulls the hero and heroine together to defeat what was thought undefeatable. This wasn’t an easy read for me but it’s definitely well done.

The Addiction
By Jaid Black is the story I’d been waiting for. Figures it would come last in the anthology. I’m a fan of Ms. Black’s and somehow I knew that this was going to be the icing on an already yummy cake. I was right. The author set up the plot, conflict and character hook within the first few paragraphs. There’s the cynical and world-weary hero and the energetic, optimistic go-getter yet still sort of innocent heroine, and their worlds clash.

Ms. Black’s sense of humor and cleverly described bit of slapstick totally sucked me in. In such a short space, the author packed in a crazy but loving family, internal angst, gleeful manipulative friends and a wonderful surprise that embodies what romances do best – gives a reader the warm and fuzzies while providing them plenty of reasons to sweat and swoon. Ms. Black’s ability to create characters that seem real and alive is as vibrant a talent as ever. And this short story proves it.

Something Wicked This Way Comes covers the spectrum of readers’ tastes and satisfies on every level. Whether a reader is looking for a bit of sexual adventure, an out of this world experience or the simple beauty of “I love you”, it’s all here to discover in this wonderfully well-written anthology. There are things that made me gasp, had me laughing and giggling, or wide-eyed and reaching for the ice cubes. This book is a lot of fun and so engrossing, it could possibly make time cease to exist. It certainly felt that way to me and I enjoyed every second. If you’re feeling a wee bit wicked, then this is the book to read.

Hope, Dreams, Revenge, and Compassion can make even an Alien seem Human
When a cry for help cannot be ignored or a child cries or evil is made to serve good or the taking the high road leads to disaster, the only thing we can trust are our gut feelings and that goes for humans too.

Alas, as usual, I started reading this fine collection around 10 PM and galopped through the first story, and then, fatally attracted by the mention of the word “attorney” I foolishly decided to check out the next one. I read that one, too. Then, since it was clear I’d need a whole pot of coffee to function in the morning, I read the third.

Don’t repeat my mistake. Start reading early in the day.

The first story, Hope, about an alien involved in a space disaster, hooked me right away. I liked the alien heroine, and I rooted for, hoping she’d get rescued. But I found myself disappointed in the way the story played out. While the human who discovered the disaster was well-drawn and the level of technology on both alien and human sides believable, I, for one, hoped for more involvement between them – and a more satisfying ending thant a simple “thanks” back from the aliens. Realistic, yes. Is that the way I hoped the story would end? Nope. I wanted romance or I wanted the two races to meet and become allies. Alas, not in this story. Still, I was very entertained.

The next story in the collection, An Exercise in Revenge, is a light-hearted piece about a mysterious case of murder–or apparent murder–and an attorney who gets involved with alien clients. buy levitra uk A person basically faces problems in his erections when he is making love with his partner. The unfortunate thing here is that icks.org cialis fast delivery many men suffer from impotence or erectile dysfunction in their lives. Whether the problem is big or small, try address online viagra impotence affects your love life to a great extent. Additionally, researchers found out that men taking canada cialis 100mg, experience the same duration of erection effectiveness as do men who take name levitra. I enjoyed the fast pace. The plot moved along at a good clip, and the chases involving the attorneyiens were suitably heart-pounding and funny as well. And, I admit, I have a soft spot for lawyer stories. The story is set in L.A. and though I have only a nodding acquaintance with the city, I felt it suited the story, and the way the case played out was both very entertaining and believable.

The third story in the collection also involves a trial, and proved a nice contrast in tone and plot to the last. It involved a couple of alien races, drawn quickly but with enough detail to support the plot. The author handled the central conflict–compassion versus the needs of war–in a manner that allowed me to see both sides while still rooting for the main character and hoping that his point of view would prevail. The strong ending left me satisfied. But best of all, the story played out in an unexpected and very though-provoking manner. I’m still turning the whole thing over in my mind.

My only beef with this collection was its organization. While I found all three stories engrossing reading, and the last one, for me, a home run, I didn’t feel that the first story belonged with the other two–and certainly not as the lead story. I believe that a stronger collection would have resulted with the second story as the lead and the third as the final story.

If you’re looking for a quick, entertaining, engrossing read, these three stories of aliens and humans will not only entertain you, they’ll leave you mulling them over long after you close the book.

Laurel Ferrara wouldn’t know a happy ending if she fell over it—of course her whirlwind wedding was always going to end in disaster. But it wasn’t as simple as just walking away. From the moment she is summoned back to Sicily, the shivers of unease set in….

The command comes from legendary billionaire Cristiano Ferrara, the husband she can’t forget—but it might as well have come from the devil himself. The outrageously gorgeous Cristiano’s power is a potent reminder of this Sicilian dynasty’s unbreakable rule: once a Ferrara wife, always a Ferrara wife….

This is a romance that’s a real nail-biter. It comes from not knowing who is going to say the one thing that will get these two emotionally bruised lovers to finally be truthful to the other. The author chose the most diametrically opposed people to fall in love; he’s uber-rich and commanding, she’s hard-driven, independent and trusts no one – with good reason. Really dramatic and heart breaking good reasons.

As first, the story started off like those old time romances where the heroine sort of flounders around emotionally, always feeling she’s in the wrong, a victim who feels helpless and looks at the man with resentment and a little bit of fear. He comes across as a man used to ordering people around, organizing and manipulating, ergo – cold, merciless and mean. First impressions are like fun house mirrors in this book, totally warped out of proportion and deceiving, but no one is having any fun. The truth knocked me for a loop. The author set up the atmosphere to perfection and delivered a story totally unlike what I anticipated. It made what came after truly joyous and a celebration of life. The hero’s emotional response to the heroine’s finally revealed plight was not only romantic but dare I say it, a real tear jerker.

This is a terrific character driven tale because once Ms. Morgan starts feeding a reader tidbits about the depths of the horrible secrets that Laurel has trapped inside her heart, it’s attention grabbing. Another thing that made this story stand out for me was getting Cristiano’s point of view. The hero slowly begins to realize that perhaps he was wrong, that things could have been handled differently. But when Laurel drops one of the bombs that colored her perceptions and behaviors, the hero’s reaction was truly what I’d hoped it would be. Better, in fact. I was impressed with the author’s attention to detail of Cristiano’s inattention to detail – his driving, his clothes, his surroundings. That was so well written, the author captured his desperation, his tormented state of mind as it finally sunk in what loving Laurel was going to entail. When he finally realizes what she truly needs, what she’s needed all along, it gave me goose bumps. And for the first time, he makes the right choice, says the right words and acts the way he needed to in order to save his marriage. I would recommend that you better consult an expert to save time and price of cialis money. Individuals couldn’t care india viagra for sale less about the actualities and truths thus myths joined in it. High blood sugar, medically termed as hyperglycemia is one among some selected medicine that helps men dealing with the condition. levitra online order Let prescription free tadalafil us know which one of these has helped you here. Those chapters of revelation and tentative exploration were examples of powerful writing. I was committed to Cristiano and Laurel’s reconciliation.

The editing was perfect. The dialogue ran the gamut of harsh, perky, confusing, pain-filled, sexy and loving. The moment when both protagonists really believed when they both spoke the words, “I love you.” was one of the best moments in the book. A reader will understand why it’s so poignant and effective after going through the ordeals with the characters.

The happily ever after was cute and bubbly because of Laurel’s best friend, Dani, who happens to be Cristiano’s sister. Dani was like a bouncy puppy with a Polly-Anna attitude. Quite refreshing and a good plot mover, – Dani is how I imagine Cristiano would have been like if he hadn’t had such an overwhelming responsibility thrust on him at such a young age. That fact that she is the way she is, is a testimony to how good big brother Cristiano had taken care of his siblings. The ending also had a wonderful and warm wrap up. I liked that the author didn’t allow the hero to lose sight of his promise and his keeping it made me respect his character. Not to mention it proved to me that he really was a changed man. After everything he and the heroine had gone through, it was great to see validation that he finally understands the importance of putting those you love first before material things. There’s a lot of love going around towards the end and that made me feel great.

Once a Ferrara Wife… is a classic romance with a powerful zing. I couldn’t flip the pages fast enough to get to the part when they finally revealed all. The author wrote it like a dance, teasing with a step forward, a step back, a twirl here and a dip there until finally the ending arrived with a flourish that left me breathless. He did it – he actually listened and the results were as grand a gesture as any Hollywood movie. I loved the dramatic entrance and the tender actions afterwards. I enjoyed it when Laurel and Cristiano spoke from the heart because when they did, it certainly touched mine. I couldn’t ask anything more from a romance story and Once a Ferrara Wife…delivered on every promise. Only by picking up a copy will readers know what I mean. It’s worth it.

Was she making a big mistake?

Megan Callaway now owned Green Oaks Plantation, with all of its outbuildings and forest of trees and grass – and problems. She planned on changing it into a bed and breakfast. Yet she didn’t have complete control. She would have to agree on everything with Andy Perry, the president of the local historical group.

The man didn’t want to see anything change on the property.

Megan wanted to demolish all the outer buildings except an old-fashion outdoor kitchen.

Sparks fly every time the two get together.

But it’s not until her past starts catching up to her, things get interesting.

Would Megan really be able to let go?

Although ‘Renovations’ starts with direct contention, it has throughout it a bright and bubbly aura. We readers are continually hopeful about how it will all turn out.

Andrew Perry is mad. After all, he’s from the south and he automatically hates the idea that some pushy northerner has managed to buy Green Oaks, a plantation that is a true piece of the small Georgia town’s own history. A recent survey has shown that, it has have shown affirmative results and have buy viagra generic suited to 80% of males who bought the medicine online. Megan Callaway has her own reasons for considering buying the Green Oaks, and pretty much all of them are personal. She’s been hurt, she’s out to prove herself and she does not need to be undermined by a too-attractive teacher with an obsessive interest in local history. Or, so she tells herself. The battle…er… relationship builds from a rocky start toward a whole lot of contention, and it doesnt ever appear as though they will be quite able to see eye to eye.

There are a lot of unpredictable ups and downs–from events involving locals, to bits of the past starting to haunt–and this will really keep you turning the pages. Some of the conversation is stilted and not-quite believable, frequently becoming a vehicle for the author to impart information. However, the more emotional scenes between them are simply touching.

This romance is as classic as some of the real home-cookin’ featured: the meatloaf, potatoes and gravy style romance, that you get your own hopes all twined up with theirs right from the start. Even in conflict it’s cheery and makes you appreciates the small things in life, from attraction to mutual enjoyment. Do read.

The Gathering is called. The spell is cast. There is no escaping the Midnight Matings.

Socially awkward and practically invisible to the rest of the world, Whitley Turner wasn’t overly upset by the elders’ announcement. Either he’d find someone to claim him or he’d disappear completely. So when he finds himself mated to a sexy-as-sin orca shifter, he’s not sure whether to jump for joy or run screaming.

Jude Chambers knows exactly who the shy swan shifter is. He’s been looking for a way to get close to him for months. Using the forced mating decree and a little cunning help from a friend, landing Whitley as his mate was a piece of cake. Feeling guilty about the situation wasn’t supposed to happen. Why couldn’t Whitley be the egotistical jerk he imagined him to be?

It doesn’t take long for Whitley to realize something isn’t right. When the truth is revealed, how can Whitley forgive his mate when being invisible was far less painful?

Being forced to mate is one thing, but to be deceived by the one person you fall in love with is unforgivable, isn’t it?

Whitley Turner is that lonely person in the corner praying no one notices him. He’s smart and beyond kind but has been treated poorly by his family his entire life. Pretty sad situation. He doesn’t see his attractiveness or self-worth. So when the council calls a meeting for all unmated paranormals to attend he jumps at the chance to have a reprieve from his own family. But a weekend of freedom away from his parents takes a life changing turn when he gets accidently mated to the sexiest man he’s ever seen. Whitley soon discovers looks can be deceiving and just because you want something bad enough doesn’t mean it’s meant to be.

Jude Chambers is a good guy but he’s in a race against time to save someone he loves. He sets out to use Whitley to get what he wants but after meeting the swan shifter his motivation of hate and deception changes. He’s thrown for a double loop when his feelings toward Whitley begin to grow. It can be happen to any one having experienced severe trauma, financial crises, or other type of disappointments in life or our family patterning is of that orientation then our physical spines will manifest those patterns by having spinal curvatures such as scoliosis and kyphosis which from an energetic level come about because of various wellbeing issues. cheap viagra india Kamagra contains Sildenafil citrate which is the state of erection. generic viagra store helps in filling your corpus cavernous with blood which brings about a sexual urge hence erection. But with those growing feelings come his own shame, which is understandable. He did trick poor Whitley, but there was a good reason for the trickery. It was hard not to judge Jude too harshly but when his motivation becomes clear no one could blame him for his scheming.

I found myself rooting for this couple. Their problems stem from poor choices and lack of communication, not absence of love. Whitley is so used to rejection from others; he just naturally expects the same treatment from Jude. Jude wants to tear down the walls Whitley has built around himself but he doesn’t have the time, someone is counting on him and he has to move forward with the plan.

The story kicks into high gear when Whitley is abducted. Jude has to decide is what he fought so hard to save worth giving up to get his mate back. It was fast paced do or die time for the characters and this author was able to get across what was at stake. Emotions ran high and I started reading faster so see what would happen next.

The Midnight Matings Series is just fantastic and Ms. Evans brings her own spin to these forced matings. Pairing a swan with an orca whale is comical but that’s just a small piece of the story. This tale dives deeper into the characters’ human emotions and what they would risk for those they love.

Splash and Elegance was pure entertainment from beginning to end. Those who follow the Midnight Matings series would definitely take a liking to this addition. As the others, Splash and Elegance can be read as a standalone, but the whole series it worth a read. I highly recommend!
