Daisy Wellfleet needs a husband if she means to keep control of her grandfather’s hotel. Lawrence Bailey, wounded in a mine explosion, needs somewhere to recuperate. For a marriage of convenience he sounds entirely suitable.

But the man who shows up, three days late, is not what she expected from his letters. He’s too healthy, too handsome, and generally just too much of everything. Now Daisy can only wish Lawrence Bailey would stop distracting her, before she falls in love — the last thing a fiercely independent woman needs.

And Lawrence Bailey has a secret. He’s just not himself. He’s not Lawrence Bailey at all, but Luke Blackwood. If only he could untangle everything, start at the beginning again. If only she’d let him get a word in edgeways, because falling in love is the last thing a sensible, solitary man needs.

I just had to read it twice. Entangled snagged me from the first sentence. I think it was a normal reaction considering the first thing I read was “She wasn’t supposed to be in bed with her husband”. Suspense kicked in and barely a few paragraphs later, heated sex raised its head to say hello.

Ms. Fresina was successfully able to tangle me into her web. I was desperate to understand how the protagonists, Luke and Daisy, had come to be husband and wife.

However, it wasn’t only that. This has been an effective anti- cheapest viagra professional in stock impotency medicinal drug which leads for greater potential impacts of the health of intimacy. You can also buy kamagra online tadalafil sales online through a registered service provider. Any company can produce tadalafil vs cialis the drug openly. As women have more capacity and stamina to have orgasm some men may left them unsatisfied, while some have levitra properien for treating their incapability problem but cannot do so due to high cost they seek for other alternatives. The story is riddled with humor and lively descriptions. From the moment Luke got out of that coach and Daisy described him as “shockingly handsome, in a rough-hewn, unapologetic, very masculine way” I believe I was already in love with him. As for Daisy, she might have lived in the 1800’s but I could easily identify with her through her independent nature, and some of her ideas (she wasn’t the weepy sort; she didn’t coo over babies, she’s very practical).

Both characters have strong personalities and the contest of wills between them was easily seen through the flowing dialogue that Ms. Fresina writes. The author also conceives everything so that the plot falls perfectly into place. I particularly liked the way she introduced Randolph Blackwell, his paintings and the other two Blackwell brothers (I’m just going to have to look for those two remaining stories). I also appreciated the crafty way in which she introduced a storm during the final climax.

Then there was the sex. Hot is an understatement. The scene with the chocolate and the champagne is, least to say, sizzling. It created a burning, wild fire that made heat spread through my own limbs. The little boat excursion was also dangerously provocative.

Finally, the ending to Entangled arrived and I wasn’t one bit disappointed. Once more, Ms. Fresina shows she knows her craft and tied the knot in a very sweet way.

Entangled is a must read! I breezed through its enjoyable pages in less than it took Daisy and Luke to fall in love!

For seven years, Paulie focused only on finding a cure for the feral virus, with little time for personal relationships. All that changes when hunters Sebastian and Marcus come into his life. The attraction between them cannot be denied. They are his mates, but at the same time, they share a connection that humbles Paulie. He fears intruding in their relationship. He fears becoming the third wheel.

Sebastian and Marcus have always been together, facing everything from prejudice to feral attacks as one being. But now, they find themselves in front of the most difficult battle of their lives, the battle to win their mate’s heart and trust.

As Sebastian and Marcus struggle to convince Paulie of their genuine affection, the danger of betrayal crowds around them. Can the three find their shared destiny or will their enemies defeat them?

Nothing is worse than feeling like a third wheel. Sebastian and Marcus seem to have so much love for one another especially after being together for so many years. Poor Paulie cannot imagine having a place within the relationship. I could not imagine being destined to be with two partners whom have already been such a constant in each other’s lives. I related to Paulie’s apprehensiveness since I, too, would feel the same way. As the cialis online online becomes available in the market everybody is aware to contact. The secondary characters are very likable, but can be a bit overwhelming. I did not have the pleasure of reading the previous stories in this series, which left me at a disadvantage because there are so many characters that I felt disconnected to. With that said, I can see how readers of the previous stories would love these characters and would want more of them.

This story had a very dynamic plot, which made it extremely entertaining. Not only were the main characaters trying to sort out their relationship, but they also had to deal with rogue werewolves and intolerant families. Again, since I did not read previous stories within this story I felt a little disconnected from some aspects of the sub-plots. One plot I felt completely emotionally involved in was Sebastian’s personal issues. Poor Sebastian only seemed to have his parents and Marcus in his corner. Because of his half-blood heritage, he is viewed as a misfit among his kind. While this made the story complex it is a common situation so it made the emotional connection with the characters particularly Sebastian more in depth.

This story was definitely action packed which made the time fly when reading. There was never a dull moment and for that, I would recommend this story to anyone who loves a good, sexy shifter now and then.

Just because Alicia Meldrew is a witch doesn’t mean that everything in her life is double, double, toil and trouble. Then again, trouble does have a way of finding her over and over again, even in the cozy little town of Middlewitch.

Alicia is starting to settle down with her new husband and a baby on the way, but little things like demon possession and mis-cast time spells keep getting in the way.Still, lake monsters, vampires (the bad kind, because you can’t generalize, you know), and vengeful enemies are no match for her, especially with the support of family and friends.

With the community coming together to help her, her cats Domino and Tango dispensing wisdom each in their own way, and her husband James even doing a little bit of magic himself, Alicia can manage just about anything. Except possibly getting along with her mother-in-law…

Alicia is a white witch and she’s the main problem solver in a town full of odd beings. Think of it as a retirement community; even the vampire has retired from that line of work…

This is a collection of short stories and I found myself looking forward to discovering what new adventure Alicia would be going on. The stories are light and airy, Alicia’s cats talk, her husband has magical powers that he acquired by their marriage, and Alicia is pregnant. What more could happen in her life? Lots!

Ms. Parker mixes all the paranormal types in this village. Just like Kamagra Oral Jelly, it takes less than 30 minutes to 1 hour of including into the sexual organ and causes an erection. free sample levitra Provillus is proven lowest prices cialis to work in men with diabetic issues, but the dosage may need to be taken for life. Exercise and consume a health-friendly diet to preserve good viagra buy usa blood circulation. Her characters are sweet, all are a bit eccentric or just plain odd and the retired vampire is even gay. With a mix of people like this, how aren’t you going to have some problems pop up? The worst part is that some of Alicia’s spells don’t exactly do what she meant to do.

The author does a nice job of creating both big and small problems for Alicia. Her mother-in-law is one of her biggest problems (I can relate to that). Her cat, Dom, is the one with the most sense in the family. But how can you not love them when all they are trying to do is help people and live happily ever after? Isn’t that everyone’s fantasy? It’s certainly not their enemies’ fantasy.

The short stories are written well, grab your attention and keep you reading. You find yourself turning pages so you can see what kind of mess Alicia and James get into next. Portions of this story had me chuckling. If you enjoy good light stories, this book is for you. I’d like to invite this couple (and their cats) over for a visit (though I’d prefer if they left the goat home.)

Why not buy a copy and have a chuckle or two yourself?

As engrossed as Danika generally is in her work, even she notices the underlying hostility with which the locals in the small northwestern town regard her and her research.

She notices the biker gang that arrives shortly behind her even more.

With their long hair, tattoos, and piercings, the rough group of bikers aren’t the sort of men she’s ever had contact with-and shouldn’t want to have contact with-but they don’t seem to grasp that they’re not her type and she isn’t theirs.

“If you see her coming, take care to tuck your ass and run!”

After I finished Wolfen I went on a mad hunt for more of Ms. Montague’s books because it knocked my socks off and had me rolling on the floor laughing until I was crying.

Danika Whitney was sent by Wildlife Management to investigate reports of wolf attacks on livestock and humans in a “little out of the way hick town”. Wolves are not native to the area let alone such a large pack. Despite a good aim with a tranq gun, when she tried to embed a tracker in one of the brazen wolves that came up to her cabin, she found the tracker the next day.

Sent to take care of a werewolf problem, wolfen alphas Balin, Con, Dakota, Xavier and Jared came face to face with Danika (Dani) in town. When she finds herself surrounded by five alpha men who radiate hostility and aggression she wondered what would bring five such dominant males together. Here are some of super viagra active the most common sexual problem. She soon finds herself in the middle of a battle between the five wolfen males who want to bed her and a whole town full of newly made werewolves.

Ms. Montague was so creative in the unique and tantalizing tale about five wolf/men who are trying to protect one woman and the humans in town from being turned into werewolves. I really enjoyed some of the original and hilarious scenes, making the story unique and a keeper. I enjoyed the tale so much that I had to stop and share on some of my online groups a few of the lines to tease my friends with as I went along. I definitely and heartily recommend this book.

Alice soon discovers Edmund has struck up a friendship with their great-grandfather, Prince Albert, and his mischief making entails leaving a dinosaur-sized footprint in history. She also meets Grayson Kentfield, Earl Swinton, and the Prime Minister, Sir John Russell. The Prime Minster finds her odd, to say the least.

It’s only when Alice falls for the handsome Earl Swinton does she realize the dangers of time travel. How can she give her heart to a man from the past while striving to stop Edmund from changing time with his forward thinking ideas?

A trip through time will always leave a footprint, the question is: how big and how destructive to the future will it be? That is a question that Their Royal Highnesses, Edmund and Alice Windsor, will have to answer as they go tripping backwards in time.

Ms. Burkhart gave me a delightful Victorian tale with just a slight fantastical historical twist. This story won’t be found on the pages of a newspaper unless it’s the National Enquirer. Her story lines took me through many plot twists and turns, and time travel and fantasy kept me wondering, guessing and wish to know what was to happens next.

Her narrative may seem stilted at first, but the further I read, the more I got that Victorian feel, and what at first seems to be a flaw turns out to be its strength. The author’s use of fantastical gadgets in the Victorian era give this a slight steampunk taste. Her characters are enigmatic, eclectic and all worth their weight in gold especially the Royals, Alice and Edmund, whose personalities constantly kept me turning pages. They didn’t lessen my admiration for the other characters in the book, from the ordinary to the sublime. The romance in the first episode in this series is sweet and naughty at the same time. Yet even when naughty it has that Victorian properness to it.

The hero is Earl Grayson Swinton, and he many times comes to the rescue of our heroine, Alice, who’s left to her own devices by her mischievous Cousin Edmund. The love scenes are pretty modern in taste for our very improper couple. They delve into the forbidden fruit of passion with both feet and leave their audience fanning themselves.

This is the perfect romance to read while sitting on a wrap-around porch on the swing sipping a cold lemonade and enjoying the last vestiges of summer. It’s the perfect romance if you love the proper etiquette of the Victorian era mixed with the fantasy of time travel. This is the first in this new series and I’m excited to read the next episode.

We invited Carly to answer a few questions for us:

Since you write in the contemporary genre, what genre other than contemporary do you read for fun and have you considered writing any other genre?

I am a true believer in writers doing what they do best. I am doing what I love, and I hope that shows to the reader. I read in other genres (paranormal, erotica, etc.), but that is my enjoyment, my reach into other worlds that gets me away from the contemporary writer I am. Right now I don’t want to write another genre. There are too many others who do it well – paranormal requires a world building that is so foreign to me, I’d rather get lost as a reader than write it and try to keep track. Historical means I’d have to research (blech!) and true suspense would mean my brain would have to work differently! So, I’m a happy contemporary romance writer and a very happy all-genre romance reader.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever had to do for research?

I’m not a huge researcher – THANK YOU GOOGLE! Seriously. And I belong to enough writer loops with awesome people who’ve held so many various occupations I can always shoot someone a question!

What’s the craziest question you’ve asked someone for a research question?

See above, LOL.

You’ve written so many different books that are remarkably unique. How do you manage to create so many diverse characters without duplicating their personality traits and quirks (and how do you keep them straight)?

Thank you! Honestly I don’t know how I do it. It’s something that comes naturally to me, creating characters that fit, that are made for each other … I don’t worry about duplicating unless something screams it’s familiar or I’ve done it before. If it feels fresh, I assume I’m okay. And the truth is my memory is horrendous even within a book and I can’t keep things straight! LOL. I have my critique partner who reads and the publisher and editors and myself … I hope for the best and pray everyone has patience with me!

What is your favorite part of writing a series? Why does it work for you? What are the challenges/ joys?

Every series offers something different! For example the humor in the Bachelor Blog series, Kiss Me If You Can and Love Me If You Dare were the most fun to write. In the Serendipity series, I went in a brand new direction. In Serendipity, it’s the depth and the way so many threads wind together throughout all three books. I love these brothers and how hurt they are, how much they need the right person to understand them. To me that’s what makes them special. So each series gives me a different challenge and results in a different joy once it’s completed!

Series works for me because I’m never ready to leave characters after one book, but three seems to be the magic number for me. Then I feel I’ve completed something and ready to move on. In Serendipity, I hope to stay in the town and do 3 book ARCS/stories.

You’re a funny lady! Do you find it easy to write romantic comedy? Do you just think funny thoughts? Have you ever laughed in her sleep from a dream and it woke you up? Are any of the goofy moments in your books based on your life?

Thank you! I don’t think I’m funny. And I think the books you mean are more … filled with slapstick moments than romantic comedy, or quirky secondary characters to fill out the canvas, and because I enjoy writing them and they aren’t main hero/heroines, I feel I have more leeway in their behavior and dialogue. Kiss Me If You Can and Uncle Yank in the Hot Zone series are closer to real life – in ways nobody except me would know. Little family quirks or “haha” things I brought to life!

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit with us!

Brodan doesn’t want to like Maggie, not when he knows Ryan has feelings for her too. But it’s hard to deny the attraction he feels for her when she’s sleeping under the same roof.

Being so close to Brodan awakens something in Maggie, something she never felt during her marriage. But as long as she’s haunted by the past, she can’t open herself up to the future…

Every person handles grief differently. But Maggie, she didn’t make time to do so properly. Soon after her husband’s tragic death, she jumped back into work, keeping a non-stop hectic schedule. I was unsure for awhile who the hero is supposed to be. Is something going to happen between Maggie and Ryan? Or is it Maggie and Brodan? Both seem to harbor feelings for Maggie, but neither brother wants to act on it, either.

Ryan is gentle and kind. He doesn’t press Maggie for answers that she doesn’t want to give. Not usually, anyway. Brodan is the absolute opposite. He’s pushy, blurts out what he thinks and feels, and had no problem poking and prodding into Maggie’s personal life and past, even when she hesitates to go into more detail. Both men have a certain impact on Maggie though, and she starts to come alive again.

Breathe Again is an emotional contemporary romance. Some parts of the book drag with very little action, but the character development is dynamic. There’s quite a bit of conflict, and though Brodan irritated me in the beginning, I warmed up to him after awhile. Overall this novel is enjoyable, but it’s far from a “light” read. It has a sucker punch emotional whammy, and I would advise to have tissues handy. Yes, there is a HEA, but there are some major tearjerker moments along the way.

If you enjoy contemporaries that are heavy on the roller coaster of feelings, or a story about a new chance at love, then pick up a copy of this heartfelt novel.

When Zach McKnight, an irresistible oil rig worker with a thick-as-honey Texan drawl, first pokes into the secrets surrounding the mysterious Maddie Wells, he has no idea that the chance encounter will change his life forever. Maddie Wells is on the run with Jesse, the infant son of her murdered sister. The boy’s father isn’t far behind. He wants his son and is willing to kill to get him. Zach is intrigued from the first moment he sees the dark haired beauty in a hotel, but getting his hard working hands on her delectable body is more easily dreamt than achieved. He gets shot for his trouble, by Maddie no less, and sucked into the web of lies and fear that are her constant companions.

Everything is bigger in Texas, even the cockroaches.

Hooked from the first chapter, I could not put the book down. I kept wondering what Maddie was afraid of and why she and her nephew, Jesse, were on the run. I always love to get my hands on a book like this one that is full of mystery and suspense. There is nothing like sitting on the edge of your seat eager to find out what will be revealed on the next page. This book did a beautiful job in keeping the action going and the suspense high. Zach soon realizes that Maddie is scared of something or someone and I found that angle only added to the mystery and was very entertaining. The more time he spends with her, the harder he falls but fears that she will run if he starts asking questions.

I think every girl needs a knight in cowboy boots like Zach, a man who knows how to treat a lady; one that has a mama who can put the fear of God in all her kids no matter how old they get. Definitely a delicious tale with heat, humor, and devilish excitement to keep you enthralled until the end. Magic, cunning, and one very special cat join forces in this hilarious tale told in diaries, letters, encyclopedia entries, and even a play, all seamlessly stitched together by Catherine Gilbert Murdock, author of Dairy Queen and Princess Ben.

The cover of this book has the words “A Thrilling and Romantic Adventure Incorporating Magic, Villainy and a Cat”. These words say it all.

Princess Wisdom (Dizzy) becomes engaged to the man who has arrived to court her sister, Queen of Montagne. She travels with her grandmother (Ben – Queen Mother of Montagne) to her betrothed’s home. Crisis after crisis delays their arrival, eventually stranding them in an inn in Bacio with their ladies-in-waiting suffering from food poisoning.

Trudy, chambermaid at the Bacio inn, has written to her childhood sweetheart Tips for years. She has the ability to see the future or, to be more exact, which is the right path to take for a good future. Unaware of this, the Queen Mother invites her to join them as a lady-in-waiting for their visit to the duchy of Froglock where Dizzy’s intended awaits them at Phraugheloch, the ducal residence.

Although her prescience warns Dizzy is not good for her own future, Trudy is overcome by the knowledge Tips will be in Froglock. Lady Fortitude, the title Ben gives Trudy, arrives in Froglock and chaos erupts. Dizzy’s future mother-in-law intends to get rid of her after the wedding, the Emperor is also in Froglock with his own hidden agenda. Tips and his master have accompanied him. The fairy story takes a dark twist as they all try to achieve their own aims.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, a modern fairy tale complete with hero, heroine, villain and various helpful minor characters. Despite the eight points of view it flowed well, carrying the story seamlessly throughout the book.

Both Trudy and Dizzy’s inner thoughts added spice to the story, but still kept it sweet and light. At first I wondered where the author intended to take the storyline but after a few chapters I didn’t care. I was too entranced by what would happen next. If Star Wars is a futuristic Cinderella, then Wisdom’s Kiss is a realistic Cinderella. I say this because the actions and reactions of the characters reflected the way modern misses would react in similar situations.

To get the full flavour of this story the book must be read from cover to cover. Delightful, engaging, captivating. These three words describe my feelings as I read this book. Suitable and entertaining for any reader, young and old.

Many of the books coming out today are filled with lots of sex and just enough plot to connect the intimate scenes. It was a joy to read a shorter book that had plenty of plot and used romantic, erotic encounters to heighten the story and bind the two main characters together.
