Happy Sunday from Karenna Colcroft

Hi, and thanks for stopping by the Whipped Cream anniversary fun day! (Okay, I know that isn’t what it’s really called, but it’s early in the morning and I’m tired.)

I’m Karenna Colcroft, and I’ll be hanging out off and on today to talk about writing, romance, and releases…the three R’s. I’ve been writing erotic romance since 2006 and got my first e-publishing contract in January 2009. Since then, I’ve been published by e-publishers including Pink Petal Books, Ellora’s Cave, and MLR Press/Passion in Print Press. With the deforestation Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, crops are sildenafil soft tablets limited to Malaysia, Indochina and Thailand. These sensitive cases have been failed to act on bed sexually. levitra free samples http://www.tonysplate.com/blog/index.php?itemid=15 I’m often hanging around online, but I tend to be pretty shy…in stark contrast to the books I write!

Have you ever looked into a mirror and wished it would show you something other than your own reflection? How about your soul mate? That’s exactly what happens to Ralie, a human woman, and Listrial, a Fae soldier, in my novella Reflected Love, which was released from Pink Petal Books in June of this year. Reflected Love is part of Pink Petal’s Spellbound Treasure line, a line of novellas based in a shared world created by the authors, in which people find true love through magical items purchased from Etienne, a mysterious woman who runs a shop (or website, depending on which world you’re in) called Spellbound Treasure.

You can find out more about Reflected Love on the Pink Petal Books website, or check out an excerpt on the book’s page on my website.

Lorelei Confer

Good morning! This is my first time on the blog so I’d better introduce myself. I’m Lorelei Confer and I write Romantic Suspense. I started writing in the fourth grade when my teacher chose a play I’d written to be produced for all students and parents alike. I’ve been writing ever since. I live on the west coast of Florida with my husband, two cats and my Chihuahua, AJ.

Currently, I’m working on a series called ‘Deadly’ about human trafficking. Following are the first two books in the series and can be purchased at www.bookstrand.com/deadly-deception or www.bookstrand.com/deadly-revenge.

Please visit my website at: www.loreleiconfer.com; or my blog at www.loreleiconfer.blogspot.com or email me at loreleiconfer@tampabay.rr.com. I’d love to hear from you!

In doing my research for Deadly Deception I learned so much about human trafficking I really wanted to get a message out there for every woman and thought the romance genre would be the way to go. I met with an undercover detective assigned to our local task force for human trafficking and from all the information I gleaned from that and numerous other interviews I was able to put together realistic stories.

My current WIP (Deadly Deliverance) is also about human trafficking but from an investigators point of view. I hope to have it finished in the next couple months and ready for release early next year.

I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy researching and writing them!!

Isabella Donnelly, is drugged, abducted, and taken from her so-called friend’s house in Colorado and transported across state lines all the way to Virginia. Finally escaping after several attempts, she ironically runs unto the arms of skeptical detective, Wyatt Bowman. The staggeringly handsome, with nothing-gets-past-him sharp blue eyes, is hard to convince that the horrific story she’s telling is true.

Their attraction is hot, sizzling, and irresistible. While they get caught up in each other, will Wyatt be able to let her go through with a sting operation against the group that is human trafficking women from all over the country? Will he trust her to handle the danger, and then when she finds out his secret, will he be able to gain her trust in return?

Tory Richards returns to North Carolina to help her mother set up a B & B never expecting to stumble across several murder victims, fall in love, or get abducted by human traffickers.

Fortunately, when she’s run off the road on the way into town, Dave Miller, working undercover on the task force for human trafficking, comes to her aid. She blows off the near fatal accident as just that—an accident, but rethinks her position once events escalate.

Someone is trying to kill Tory. Failing that, she’s being set up as a suspect in four murders. As Dave falls more deeply for Tory, how will he tell her who he is and what he does? Will she ever trust him? Trust becomes a moot point when Tory is abducted and everything points to the group of human traffickers Dave’s had under surveillance. He calls in the entire task force, but will they reach Tory before she’s used as a sex slave?

Human Trafficking is the exploitation by force, fraud or coercion of vulnerable people for forced labor, domestic servitude or commercial sex operations. It is one of the most lucrative and growing businesses in the world today. Have you ever wondered how YOU could help stop human trafficking in your area?

Clues that may help you identify a possible trafficking victim:

1) Accompanied by a controlling person or boss: not speaking on own behalf
2.) Lack of control over personal schedule, money, I.D., travel documents
3) Transported to and from work; lives and works in the same place
4) Debt owed to employer/crew leader; inability to leave job
5) Bruises, depression, fear, overly submissive

KEY QUESTIONS TO ASK:

  • What type of work do you do?
  • Are you being paid?
  • Can you leave your job if you want to?
  • Can you come and go as you please?
  • Have you or your family been threatened?
  • What are your working and living conditions like?
  • Where do you sleep and eat?
  • Do you have to ask permission to eat/sleep/go to the bathroom?
  • Are there locks on your doors/windows so you can’t get out?
  • Has your identification been taken from you?

In some cases, simply making better lifestyle choices can reverse the problem. tadalafil discount Cervical cialis 20mg tadalafil Fusion Recovery As with any surgery, it is the best possible option to cure the depressive disorder in people. Investigations have successfully led to the conviction of more than 300 pimps, madams, and their associates who exploit children and women through prostitution. These convictions have resulted in lengthy sentences including multiple 25-year-to-life sentences and the seizure of real property, vehicles, and monetary assets.

•Susie, 39 years old, was in high spirits at the airport in Mombasa. She boarded a plane on her way to Germany to spend a three-month holiday, courtesy of her ‘boyfriend’ who had lavished gifts upon her for months. All hopes of an exciting, wonderful stay in a foreign land were shattered on arrival in Germany, when her boyfriend/trafficker confiscated her passport and denied her food for several days before informing her that she would work as a sex slave. She was raped repeatedly, beaten, and threatened with death. After enduring gross exploitation, Susie used a cell phone to call police who instigated a raid and was able to rescue her from her abductors.

Please leave me a comment and ask me any questions you may have. I’d love to interact with you. Thanks for stopping by and hope to talk to you soon.

Genre: Erotic Romance, Interracial, Menage (m/m/f), Shapeshifter

Maya is a half human, half merman who has decided to attend the fertility-virility rite and learn more about her merman heritage. The rite is meant to help mermen find their perfect mates, but Maya is only interested in using it as research.

Tam and Kessen are participants who are searching for their third. They are drawn to Maya and she to them. But she refuses to acknowledge the bond and runs. Tam and Kessen must pursue her through her dreams if they hope to make their love a reality and prove they are the right men for Maya.

5 Little Known Facts About Rite Men for Maya

#1 – The entire merman society featured in Rite Men for Maya is based off of the observed behaviors of dolphins. Despite how cute they look in movies and on TV, dolphins are known for being bullies out in the wild. They tend to tease and torment other weaker animals (and other dolphins) for the fun of it. For that reason, I made bullying/teasing a “national pastime”/spectator sport in the merman society I created.

#2 – I wrote Rite Men for Maya back in July 2008 as part of a challenge issued to me by Stephanie Burke (known to most as Flash). She showed me “this” picture and told me to write a story based off of it. While I had every intention of ignoring the challenge, my muse had other plans. I pushed aside (reluctantly) my other writing obligations and finished this novella a little over a month after the challenge was issued.

#3 – As stated in #2, I finished Rite Men for Maya back in 2008. It wasn’t published until 2011. That would be because I sat on it. Once I finished the novella, I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to do with it — by “do with it” I mean to which publisher I should send it. I let it sit on my computer until July 2010 when I submitted it to Changeling Press, its current home.

#4 – Maya originally had a sister, an identical twin sister, that got chopped in the pre-submission editing process. The original draft set up the groundwork for a sequel featuring Maya’s sister. I changed my mind. I decided the story worked better without the sister and removed her completely. I left Maya’s little brother, however.

#5 – Speaking of sequels, Rite Men for Maya has a sequel. I had thought it would be out by now, but other novellas decided they wanted to be written first (I’ll talk about those in later posts). The sequel will shed more light on the merman society and how they view a marriage such as the one Maya has. As it turns out, it’s not at all how she thought it would be.

Inspiration? I So Have to Share!

So I thought for my second post, since I don’t actually have a snippet of my story to share, I’d share some of my favorite pics I used for inspiration.

This one, I used for a wicked hot menage for Whipped Cream. I liked how the guys seem like a joined coalition and she’s there, but as a plaything. It’s up to the reader/viewer to decide what her role in the relationship truly is.

This one I used for a shapeshifter. I mean, look at those eyes. How can you not think, man, I’m tangled in his cross beams? Or I’d like to tangle with his tractor beam. Hee hee. I am so bad. But it’s so good.

I tend to write manlove stories, because what’s sexier than seeing two men who are just hot as all get out, kissing? I’m not sure what, so I use this pic a lot. This one actually was part of the backbone of Permanent. I can feel the passion between them and want to climb in the middle. Wink!

This one inspired a whole story that’s still in the works. Reproduction system also gets stimulation from these capsules and http://appalachianmagazine.com/2015/12/31/7-most-viewed-stories-of-2015/ cialis samples it leads to the increase of fertility of the sperms to a great extent. It is also not recommended for anyone with serious liver or kidney sildenafil levitra problems. As a result these men end up too quickly in the body and show its levitra cost low effects. I saw him standing there, wanted to get to know him…he’s posing for a photograph for a fellow student. He’s interested in the person watching him, best friends with the woman taking the picture. He can’t wait for the shoot to be done so he can meet the man who makes him hard at just a wink.

Yeah, I really need to sit down and fiddle with this story.

Now I ask you, what do you use for inspiration? What kind of picture makes you turn and look a second or third time? Makes you stop on a dime? I’d love to know. Tell me!!

~Megan

When she’s not writing the stories in her head, Megan Slayer can be found luxuriating in her hot tub with her three vampire Cabana boys, Luke, Jeremy, and Gerard.

She has the tendency to run a tad too far with her muse, so she has to hide in the head of her alter ego, but the boys don’t seem to mind.

When she’s not obsessing over her whip collection, she can be found picking up her kidlet from school. Her first novella comes out in January from Total-E-Bound publishing, but don’t think that’s it. She’s hard at work on the next story. Always working.

There’s Silver in Them Thar Hills!

Jacquie Rogers here again!  I thought I’d talk a little about location, location, location.

Many of my western historical romances are set in the Silver City area of Idaho Territory, in Owyhee County (a large county in southwest Idaho with area about the same as New Jersey, but with one person per square mile).  This was a wild and wooly area of the West.

You have to take after these after rules low price levitra to evade any unfriendly impacts: avoid the every day utilization of Kamagra tablets on the off chance that you are not arranging sexual movement do not utilize it in the event that you are experiencing persistent pain in keens and legs, it is better to see a doctor immediately, or you may consult our experts online directly. Such problem makes man feel emotionally weaker prices for cialis and lose the interest in the sexual life. The typical purchasing this free sample of cialis treatments include: –Avoiding sun exposure –Use of sunscreen –Treating the underlying inflammatory conditions –Preventing scratching, rubbing, picking –Stopping medications such as tetracyclines, which can intensify hyperpigmentation –Putting on topical agents such as chemicals, perfumes, and synthetics. Fortunately, I quickly realized with ALS, behaviors deteriorate progressively, not sporadically, as mine levitra properien http://deeprootsmag.org/2013/04/16/exploring-celestial-harmony/ were doing.

The gold and silver strike sent prospectors, gamblers, painted ladies, merchants, Chinese miners and merchants, bankers, and newspapermen to Ruby City.  Problem is, the creek liked to flood there so the residents packed up the town, buildings and all and moved them to the Silver City site, where it still stands.
So let’s take a tour.  On the right is the sign that tells you how to get there.  I’d advise not to miss the sign.  Oh, wait, there’s only one road.  I’d advise you to stay on that road.  If you get lost, you have to pay Owhyee County to hunt for you.  They had to implement this because so many city people got themselves into fixes they couldn’t get themselves out of.  It got costly, and the budget just didn’t have room for people’s errors in judgment.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that all these pictures were taken by my daughter, Mercedes Christesen.  Special thanks to her husband, Rodney, for using his day off to chase after pictures for his mother-in-law.  Yes, you get points for that.  Okay, back to the tour.
Drug Store
Here’s the Drug Store.  Mercedes wasn’t able to get any history on it, but it was either called the Knapp Drug Store or the Model Pharmacy.  Or maybe it was one and then the other.  I think it’s just called the Drug Store now.  It’s not open for business anymore.  It’s a residence now, as so many formerly commercial buildings are.
There’s an open house the weekend after Labor Day every year.  I’ve been there–great fun!
Silver Slipper Saloon
To the right is the Silver Slipper Saloon.  This is a 20th Century saloon, open from 1918 to the early 1940s but it still looks cool so I included it.  Silver City had many, many saloons and of course also had cribs and a street called Virgin Alley where ladies of ill-repute plied their trade.  On Ghosttowns.com, you can see an older photo of this saloon and the drug store above.

Silver City Trivia:

Houses at its peak, 400: now, 67.  Businesses at its peak, 125: now, 2.  Working mines at its peak, 250: now, 1.  This informaton comes from a sign on the menu at the Idaho Hotel.  The building was constructed in Ruby City and moved to Idaho City in 1866.
Even though Silver City had telephone service by 1880, the telegraph business was thriving for longer distances.

Silver City, Idaho Territory, never did have rail service, but the train service was within a stage ride.  Here’s a Union Pacific train ticket:

Life was hard in the Old West, especially when you’re a couple hundred miles off the beaten path, at over 6,000 feet in elevation.  But this wasn’t empty country. A long-standing population of Native Americans from the Bannock and Paiutes were not all that happy about Europeans coming in and ruining their livelihood and cultures.  The next photo is the gravestone of Oliver Hazard Purdy, born September 12, 1824, and killed during the Bannock Indian War in 1879.
Sometimes bad things happen but instead of dying, the perpetrators were put in jail.  It looks as if this jail wouldn’t be too secure these days, but it was formidible in its time.
For more cool photos and accompanying descriptions, I highly recommend EdnaPurviance.org and GhostTowns.com.  You can see the school and the church, too, where services are still held.  The Masonic Lodge is still in good condition and is in use as well.
I’ll leave you with the coolest hotel ever.  I mean EVER.  This is the Idaho Hotel that I talked about above (menu board trivia).  Yes, you can still stay there–they have 13 rooms in service.  Go to the hotel’s website for more cool history about Silver City.

Idaho Hotel, in Silver City, Idaho

Much Ado About Marshals takes place in Oreana, Idaho Territory, but the pre-story takes place right here in Silver City.  Stay tuned because the second book in the Much Ado series, Much Ado About Madams,  will be set in Silver, and you can bet these buildings will have a strong say-so in how the story goes. 🙂  The third book (not sure of the title yet) is set in the surrounding area with only a few scenes in town.
Jacquie Rogers writes western historical and fantasy romance.  Her latest release, MUCH ADO ABOUT MARSHALS, debuted #1 in Western Romance at Smashwords, and #2 in Humor. Available also are her contemporary western, DOWN HOME EVER LOVIN’ MULE BLUES, a multi-era faery story, FAERY SPECIAL ROMANCES, and a Christmas story, FAERY MERRY CHRISTMAS. She’s co-founder of 1st Turning Point, a pay-it-forward website where authors teach, share and learn promotion and marketing.

Defeat The Heat Enjoy Christmas In July

Given the tortuously hot and uncomfortable temperatures we’ve endured across the country lately, relief in any form is welcome. Glad Tidings, a Class of ’85 series romance, my holiday release from The Wild Rose Press takes place in the cooler months of the year, between Halloween and Christmas Eve.

His twenty-fifth high school reunion leaves hard-driving hospital CEO Jake Holbrook feeling he’s missing something in life. So when a special woman from his past tumbles back into his life-and his bed-Jake is determined to keep her, even if it means recruiting her to work for him.

Family practice physician Bethany Thomas knows it’s a bad idea to sleep with her late husband’s best friend-even if he is the only man she’s ever loved. Recently widowed, after twenty years of marriage to the wrong man and haunted by guilt over his death, Bethany isn’t looking for an entanglement. Especially not with her future boss.

Working together makes Jake and Bethany confront their clashing philosophies to patient care, and as the holidays approach, Bethany unknowingly betrays Jake. Now Jake’s job is on the line. Then comes a brutally cold winter night, and two young children are missing. Suddenly, the differences Jake and Bethany struggle with don’t seem so important anymore.

Glad Tidings began as a short story which soon became a 75,000 word novel. A novel which was ultimately rejected from an editor I was confident would accept it. Was I disappointed? You bet. But not defeated. I was determined to find Glad Tidings a home, but where? Then came a call for submissions for the Class of ’85 reunion series from The Last Rose of Summer line of The Wild Rose Press. As luck would have it, my book was a reunion story. The only problem, the maximum word count for the series was 40,000 words. Much of what I’d written would have to be-horror of horrors-eliminated. Once I got over the distasteful idea of that, I found editing the book down to almost half of its former self to be first a daunting, then humbling experience. It was also one of the most gratifying writing projects I’ve ever completed. Who knew the book and its characters would become more interesting and more powerful emotionally, simply by cutting things in half? A fact I often recall as I go on to the next project and the one after that.

My husband and I have talked about traveling to Hawaii for years. It’s on our bucket list of trips to make together. Just look at that gorgeous photo – can’t you almost feel the warm breeze off the ocean, hear the gentle swish of waves? Ahhh.
But shh, don’t tell him – I’ve already been there without him! Well, virtually anyway. 🙂 It’s one of the things I love about being a writer. Researching exotic locales isn’t as great as going, but I still have a lot of fun.
After reading a news story about an airplane that lost its fuselage, I thought: what a great idea for a story! The plane didn’t crash, and no one was injured, but yikes, the tension on that flight. Which two people, I wondered, could I put on that plane?
An uptight, overworked heroine, of course, and her polar opposite – a laid-back surfer. The result was Going with Gravity, my contemporary romance. Going with Gravity was a 2011 EPIC finalist!
It’s now re-released on Amazon and Smashwords.
Here’s an excerpt:
“My purse.” She scrambled out of bed. “What the hell is wrong with me?” She grabbed it from the table and pulled out her Blackberry, still off since yesterday. And she hadn’t charged it, either.
“I can’t believe I’m such an idiot.” Rummaging through her laptop case, she pulled the cord out and plugged it into the device.
His bare footfalls padded up behind her, and he laid a hand on her back. “What’s wrong?”
He looked so sweet, so concerned. What was he doing in her world? His very sanity and groundedness threw off her edge.
“Michelle’s going to kill me. I never called her yesterday.”
He slid his arms around her. “She’ll get over it.”
Her head against his chest, she whimpered, “If only that were true.”
He kissed her hair. “Let’s get something to eat. When we get back, you can call her. It’s too early now.”
Of all her options, that sounded sensible. Michelle would hate her more if she woke her up so early – what was the time difference between San Diego and Hawaii anyway? Ten and a half hours between New York and Hawaii, but she hadn’t planned to stop on the West Coast. It must still be a few hours’ difference, at least, especially since Hawaii didn’t observe daylight savings time.
He patted her rear. “Get dressed.”
Her bag. She’d left it at the airport. “Ugh. The same clothes. How disgusting.”
He tugged on his shorts. “I don’t know. They bring back good memories, don’t you think?”
She lay her blouse and skirt on the bed and smoothed the wrinkles. “That’s true. Oh.”
He tilted his head in question.
“My panties.” She’d have to go commando.
A leering smile crept across his face. “Oh yeah. Sorry about that.”
“Don’t be. I’m not.” She disrobed and stood there. “Sure we have to get breakfast now?” Once they landed in Honolulu, she might never see him again.
He walked to her and took a deep breath as his hands wandered down her back. “You should have something to keep up your strength.”
She kissed him, and pulled him onto the bed. “I will. Later.” She had two years of loneliness behind her, and who knew how many ahead of her. Time was of the essence.
I’d love to give away an ebook of Going with Gravity! Just leave a comment on this post and I’ll select a winner tomorrow night. Just tell me — what’s your dream destination? And be sure to leave your email address so I can contact you. Aloha!

What is Sexy to You?

I love writing erotic romance. There is so much you can do with the sex appeal and the sexy situations. Readers can be made to feel sexy by just reading the books. There are so many different things people think are sexy. Like a picture of a guy reclining by the pool. His body is great, but that’s not all. His smile has sex appeal too. Also his eyes say sexy.

cialis discount overnight If your physician does not find any underlying health condition. Instead, a man only has to purchase the pills, ingest them, and then he believes he will be well on his way to appalachianmagazine.com levitra sale enlarging his penis to his heart’s and girlfriend’s desire. This medicine has great role in treating erectile dysfunction and induce better appalachianmagazine.com levitra online sales erection during the lovemaking session. Besides, sometimes such injections can cause to extended and agonizing cialis 100mg construction that can last up to 48 hours.

Or maybe a sexy girl dancing in a white dress? The way you can see through to her body but not all the time. Maybe she has on red lipstick, or maybe black. What do you think would make her sexy? Maybe some thigh high boots or the fact that she’s not wearing any underwear?

What about this guy? Do you find him sexy. Maybe he’s laying on the beach just waiting for you. He’s been working all week and this is his first break and he wants to spend it on the beach with you, only you. You see that he’s already gotten wet so you rush forward. What do you do next?

I write in multiple genres. Princess Slave and Runaway Princess are scifi erotic books that are both super sexy. The heroes are super sexy and the heroines are too. Ava, from Princess Slave, has been sold into slavery.

Regina, her sister from Runaway Princess, has escaped her bland existence to find fun on the pleasure planet of Melopa. But something else awaits her there. Both books show the girl’s sexual awakenings and their transformation to passionate women who know how to please a man.

I also write in the M/M erotic genre. I love writing M/M books. Men are just plain sexy. Add emotions of a romance to their sex appeal and they become super sexy. In Surprise Sleepover both James and Nick experience a release of pent up emotions when they share a bed for the night.

In Working It Out, Jake’s emotions are already raw from losing his partner, then he meets Lance. I loved writing Jake’s character. I think he and Lance are the sexiest guys I’ve ever written.

What do you consider to be sexy? Do you like moonlit walks or maybe a surprise get together with your significant other? What about totally outrageous costumes like in Princess Slave or do you dream of pleasure planets where anything goes like in Runaway Princess.

Good morning!

Good morning all! I’m so happy to be here today with all of your celebrating four wonderful years with the LASR/WC crew. Congratulations on your success and here’s to so much more!

I’m Lila Munro, purveyor of realmantica…romance with a bent and a healthy dose of realism. Who am I beyond that? Well, many things actually. Military wife, mom, friend, pet lover, college graduate, marketing director to Rebel Ink Press…did I mention military wife? That’s a biggie insofar as how it influences my writing. Most of my stories, but not all, revolve around military heroes and their heroines. And that experience only serves to give those tales that realmantica twist I boast of. In fifteen years I’ve lived in several states and Okinawa Japan, have moved endless times, and have endured deployments, happy reunions, and sad memorial services. I’ve lived through the dark nights and come out the other side of that endless tunnel to tell the tale. With my nest now empty I devote my time to working on my career in writing and fostering my other career in working at Rebel Ink Press. That takes up most of my time, but when I’m not doing that I enjoy a caveat of exciting things. The more sensitive aspects are the prescription drugs and the generic cialis cheapest effect of the drugs tend to last longer. #4 Take action After you have set your goal, you need to learn the right way on how to stop premature ejaculation naturally. Long ago I fell in love with all things ancient and mystical. The thought of a sea creature in a loch thrilled me. I grew a passion for eight-foot-tall, hairy beasts who roamed the remote wilds of the world. And I found rituals and celebrations of early man sent my passions into overdrive. Yes, I love a mystery, and what’s more mysterious than a primeval stone set into the earth?

In my third book of my Immortal Series, RUNESTONE, I automatically knew my characters would become as embroiled in an ancient language, which would lead them on a search through the jungles of Central and South America to find a stone tablet. So what are runestones? Here’s a little history lesson for the day.

According to Wikipedia, a runestone is a raised stone with a runic inscription. Most runestones are located in Norway, Denmark and Sweden. There are also a few scattered throughout North America. The inscriptions vary from words to travelers at a crossroads to some prose about an ancient leader. Some also have depictions of legends or ways of life.

My immortal Evangeline (also found in RUNES-Book 1) bears a tattoo of runes and stars on her shoulder, up her throat, around her ear and ending in a spattering at the corner of her eye. Who knew this stunning artwork was also a map leading to her endangered immortal mate?

Read on for a short excerpt of RUNESTONE and follow me on a mystical journey.

Blurb:
When Sean Livingston asks his immortal beloved, Evangeline to elope with him, not only does it alienate her from her immortal mate Will, but sets off a series of life-altering events. Pulled from Will—the one man she needs more than air—Evangeline is desperate to find ease from the impending madness the separation will cause her. With the help of their immortal friends, they discover her tattoo contains a map leading them to Will. While Will battles an army hell-bent to annihilate ancient immortals, he unearths new passion in the arms of a dashing Saxon warrior as together they fight to destroy the evil cell and reunite Will with his mate and lover of his heart.

Excerpt:
“When are you going to tell her?” Will Cochran leaned against the granite kitchen countertop, ankles crossed, muscular thighs straining against his jeans, and his arms folded so his biceps flexed beneath his fitted shirt. His stance appeared casual, but Sean knew better.

Across the room, he met Will’s level gaze. “Soon. She’s not going to be happy.” He jammed a hand through his hair. Keeping his and Will’s mutual lover, Evangeline, from knowing that he’d been summoned to America by his art dealer was misery. Being immortal, she was fiercely protective of his mortal flesh, and had confessed her terror that tragedy would befall him, and neither she nor Will, her immortal mate, would be around to Make him immortal too.

Yet, they refused to change him.

Sean opened his mouth to argue this point, but Will guessed what he was about to say. He held up a broad palm to silence Sean. “You know it’s out of the question, man.”

After throwing a glance at the kitchen doorway to ensure Evangeline wasn’t standing there to overhear, Sean dug in for battle. “My mortality is like quicksand, ready to pull me under any moment. She’s afraid of losing me. This is the only answer.”

Will shook his head. Auburn hair tumbled onto one smoldering brown eye and he knuckled it away. “We’ve discussed this. We can’t do it. Why do you want to upset a perfect situation?”
Sean slashed the air with a hand. Irritation burned in his chest, but so did fear. Fear that he’d be involved in a fatal accident on the twisting Argentinean roads, or be bitten by a poisonous snake while trekking through the wilds, and leave Evangeline truly devastated. They had a special connection—a connection akin to the immortal Calling. Her soul had chosen Will as immortal mate, but her heart and head had refused to let Sean go.

“I could go to Los Angeles for this trip and be a drive-by shooting victim. A sharp puff of breath burst from Will as if Sean had struck him in the gut. His mouth twisted in pain, and he pulled away from the counter and crossed the room to Sean. Honestly, Sean lived for this man as much as he lived for Evangeline. Both of them would be stricken by his loss.

All the more reason to share their immortal blood.

Will stopped inches away, and his masculine scent filled Sean’s head. “Nothing’s going to happen to you, Livingston. Got that? Because Evangeline needs you. I need you. Now let’s deal with the real question here, and that is when are you going to tell her about your trip?”

“I said soon, dammit,” he snapped. He swung away and strode for the brand new industrial coffee maker. Their villa was still in construction phase, but the kitchen had been one of the first rooms to be completed. It was tricked out in top-of-the-line appliances and the latest gadgets. Since Evangeline was a coffee connoisseur, they’d spared no expense on this contraption.

But only Sean knew how to brew her favorite drink. He measured a precise amount of coffee beans, put them through the grinder, and then dumped them into the machine and added purified water. He could hear Will’s noisy, irritated breathing, but ignored it. Let him churn a little at the thought of Sean leaving, of dealing with Evangeline’s hysterics. For the past six months they’d cohabitated, she had grown increasingly more nervous about Sean being parted from her, and now wouldn’t let him leave the house without her or Will.

Down the hall, a door shut, and he knew his beautiful lover had finally awakened. While the upper floor of the villa was being finished, the three of them were sharing a smaller guest room downstairs.

“Either tell her or lose the attitude until you’re ready, Sean.”

He fixed Will in his stare. “I will,” he said through his clenched jaw. In minutes, she would walk into the kitchen, following the smell of fresh coffee, her hair mussed, and a sleepy smile on her face. Would she sense the tension humming between him and Will?

As he stared at the rich dark brew filling the glass pot, he struggled to think of a way to break it to her. His agent needed him. A big show. Better for him to appear in person. Huge group of collectors present. A lot of money on the line.

After he’d chased Evangeline to South America to save her from that sick fuck Marcus, he’d abandoned his career as a deejay and taken up his art full time. A few months before, the three of them had returned to America to close up his apartment and sell a few pieces of art to an important Chicago gallery owner, who had immediately contacted his colleague, an influential L.A. dealer.

“Got a grip, Sean? ‘Cause she’s coming.”

“Yeah, yeah.” He reached into an upper cupboard and withdrew Evangeline’s favorite mug.

“Let’s talk about the construction crew.” Will’s voice was pitched low, and a shiver of need ran through Sean. His dusky tone drew Sean into the memories of their encounters in bed.

Hardly a day passed that the three of them didn’t make love. With the extra person in their lives, they continually came up with new configurations. He didn’t think they’d ever recreated the same session.
