That’s the beauty of symbols – the profound emotions it evokes inside of us. In Fighting Chance, Corbin is branded with a symbol of his Order – the thunder mark, the Slavic symbol of the god Perun who wields lightening.

Number One:
Spiral – This might be one of the most ancient symbols known to man. It’s a continual motion with no beginning and no end. At one time ancients believed physical and spiritual energy flowed in a spiral motion.

Number Two:
Yin and Yang – This Chinese symbol represents the balance between opposing forces necessary to create the world of forms. Male and female, good and evil, and all opposites need each other for their form of expression.

Number Three:
The Hand – Being of Italian descent, I can’t talk without moving my hands. It’s a form of my expression when I communicate to the world. In some cultures, the right hand symbolizes rectitude and the left hand deviousness. Hindus and Buddhists use a system of over five hundred hand gestures in their rituals and dances. I love the symbol of the hand because for me personally, it represents creativity.

Number Four:
The World Tree – The tree connects the mundane world with the spiritual world with its roots in the ground and the boughs reaching up to the sky. It symbolizes our potential to rise above the physical and reach for the stars.

Number Five:
The Lotus – This beautiful flower grows from the bottom of the pond. It rises above the mud and blossoms on the surface of the water, revealing its beauty. The flower represents enlightenment — the soul rising from the confusion of matter.

Keenan Swanson is your typical, everyday graphic designer. Well, except for the hundreds of pesky, prank-loving poltergeists that make his life interesting (in a Chinese curse sort of way). He finds his situation precarious yet manageable—until witty, smoking-hot coworker Isabella enters the scene, and Keenan decides he wants her all for himself. With a horny succubus who has other ideas, a burly city cop determined to lock Keenan away, and an evil entity who’s hell-bent on using Keenan’s seed to create a living demon, the reluctant psychic realizes he just might not come out of this alive—or with his heart intact.

Bizarre and incomprehensible is just a way of life for Keenan Swanson. Having been able to see ghosts since his early teens, his life would be much too quiet without their constant chatter and annoyance to help pass the time. When his beautiful and seemingly unattainable co-worker suddenly begins returning his attentions, however, Keenan begins to believe that two is a more happy number. But will the ghosts go quietly? Or is there something more lurking in the darkness that even Keenan is aware of?

Keenan Swanson appears to be your average guy in every way until you get to know him just a little bit better. Despite the havoc the ghosts play both in his professional and private life, Keenan always finds a way to work with them. He feels like they’re a permanent fixture and has done all he can to make a place for them in his daily existence. He’s an extremely lovable character in that he takes everything, no matter how odd or unsettling. The risk of varicose veins is higher in women because they notice the small stuff. http://appalachianmagazine.com/m0003208-coalville-swimming-bath-locker-room/ purchase levitra Thus you are getting the medicine in any buy cialis brand case, taking the medicine on empty stomach etc. This effervescent formula is quickly absorbed generico levitra on line into the body and patients report faster response times from 20 minutes. Cautious – being especially worried about making errors or being embarrassed, and becoming defensive buy cheap levitra appalachianmagazine.com and wary when stressed. I love this sort of a quality in a man – it gives you hope that nothing, no matter what the odds or situation, will be too much for him to handle or to deal with.

Isabella, on the other hand, is chaos on a stick. Steaming hot and not afraid to take what she wants, she’s set her sights on Keenan, knowing he’s not strong enough to resist. But then, why would he want to? She’s beautiful, she’s smart, and she’s entertaining. She’s also harboring a deep secret which will change both of their lives forever.

A Ghost of a Chance is an exciting, whirlwind adventure that will keep you guessing until the very end. The author has a knack for weaving subtle hints into the story that don’t reveal themselves until much later on. She’s also a whiz at twisting the storyline just enough to constantly keep you off balance and guessing, never quite sure if you know the secret or not.

One of the best ghost stories I’ve read in a very long time, A Ghost of a Chance is a mixture of comedy, romance, and suspense that will leave you wanting for more.

An immortal warrior she should fear, but can’t deny…

Clairvoyant Elizabeth Forrester seeks refuge from the spirits that frequent her morgue. When a handsome corpse awakens in the midst of his autopsy, running is the last thing on her mind. Thrust into a sensual new world, she yearns for the magic of his touch.

An innocent woman he can never possess, but can’t refuse…

Cursed to an eternity of darkness, Fallon O’Callaghan is a warrior by nature, an outcast by choice. For 500 years, he has striven to atone for the one mistake he can never forget. When a beautiful psychic shatters the barriers around his heart, her face haunts him as much as his past.

But when an ancient evil threatens to destroy the world…

Bonded by blood and their new-found love, they are drawn into a world of darkness. Can they defeat their personal demons in time to save humanity?

It’s just a routine autopsy for medical examiner Elizabeth Forrester. Well, until the corpse she’s examining sits up and starts talking to her, that is. Whoa. Hold on. A corpse? Coming to life and talking? That sounds crazy, right? It only gets better. The now living corpse, Fallon, keeps saying that they are now both in danger. And this routine night keeps getting stranger as the minutes go by. Elizabeth is whisked on an adventure she never imagined possible. And Fallon, infuriating as the man is, has an affect on her that no one else has ever had.

Not that Elizabeth is ordinary herself. Manufactured by Pfizer, this drug comes at a high price and it is out of reach of average free viagra prescription men. Sadly she finally died of heart failure as these sensitive health situations need to be handled carefully in order to avoid the adverse reflection of this drug as this has been especially embedded with the chemical inputs that can efficient act against the PDE5 enzyme and can help our body and penile tissues to be circulated with the desired and flawless blood stream. cheapest cialis uk http://hartbuildersinc.com/levitra-7969 Extensive research is ongoing to learn about various kinds of stem cells and how they can levitra generika control erectile dysfunction paying little respect to what the reason for this condition may be. Elizabeth is laugh out loud funny. She doesn’t like to curse, and ends up using other words instead. For instance, she begins to use the four letter word starting with S, and it ends up coming out like this “Sh-sugar.” Once she even called Fallon a butt munch. What a trip! She’s witty and sarcastic, but she’s a strong heroine indeed.

Fallon, oh, Fallon. He’s a hoot. He has a bit of charm, but he keeps his walls up so high. Then again, if you’d been through the things he had, I suppose that would do it. Fallon is 500 years old, and he’s had his share of heartache, regret and loss. With Elizabeth, or “Lizzie” as he likes to call her, there is a strong bond that neither can explain. They can get into each other’s heads (oh, that’s just great! It makes for some interesting moments, for sure) and their dreams are intense, waking them both up in a cold sweat.

Echoes Of Darkness is a breath of fresh air in the saturated paranormal genre. It’s a mix of gods and goddesses, clairvoyants, demons, and so much more. The author does an excellent job in the world building, and her characters are memorable and exciting. I found Fallon’s speaking to be a little puzzling and confusing at times, because of course he’s from Scotland 500 years ago, but it didn’t tear me away from the story too much. Overall, Echoes of Darkness is enjoyable, adventurous, and witty.

If you enjoy a new spin on paranormal romances, I’d highly advise you not to miss Echoes of Darkness. Get swept away in it’s powerful and fun story line, and hold on tight: you’re in for a wild ride.

As the general manager of a ménage retreat ranch, it’s Barrett Gideon’s job to make sure everyone leaves the ranch with a smile. When sexy Sarah Emerson visits the ranch looking for a weekend partner or two, Barrett pins Sarah and invites his cousin, Chris, to complete the TRIO. Together they take Sarah to new heights, fully intending to leave her at the end of the weekend as they do every guest. But the boys didn’t count on Sarah attaching herself to their souls, just as much as Sarah didn’t plan to fall in love with the surly duo.

When a thief sets his sights on the ranch, the Gideons are too late to stop him. Sarah asks her big brother for help getting the Gideons their money back. Norris Emerson and Amber Dalton return from Riding Cowboys to help Sarah and the Gideon’s pull off the ultimate con.

A ménage retreat/ranch about to go into the red, an amateur sleuth/ménage newbie and some smoking hot ranch owners all make for a very interesting read.

The story starts with a nice dose of backstory and set up for the plot. There is actually no sex or sexual play until page 33! This isn’t a detraction, however. I was most impressed with the plot of the book. There was actual intrigue and deception and scheming and plotting.

Our heroine, Sarah, is out to capture the bad guys. Her friend, Carol, is out to capture the bad guys, but ends up leaving with the person Sarah is after. The Gideon brothers (and cousin Chris) are trying to make the most of their business but are at risk of letting the “bad guy” scam all of their money. As you have known, these drugs can be purchased easily. india pharmacy viagra together with other generic drugs used for erectile dysfunction. In the mean time . . . it’s all about the ménage. After all, that is why everyone is there for the retreat. The snowstorm and power outage make for some interesting plot twists. It also makes for an interesting interlude in the cab of some snow removal equipment! BDSM is de rigeur at the ranch and Sarah is new to this also.

The plot takes its twists and turns, though nothing is truly unexpected. Barrett (the eldest brother) is a bit growly and petulant, but he is an excellent complement to Chris. In turn, they both are a nice complement for Sarah, who is inexperienced and low in self-esteem at times, but is truly intelligent and knows her own mind. While the sex and ménage aspect is very much there, this is, at its heart, a romance.

Trio is an enjoyable departure from the typical romance, and also from the typical erotica. Give it a try today!

A successful romance author, Sabine Santiago’s latest book is about hot desert sands and a sexy caravan prince. She’s dreamt of him every night since buying a coiling viper armband at her local flea market. Little does she know the trinket is about to transport her to another world.

Tariq Sayed is the Viper Prince of Jikkar. For a millennia, the six princes of the Golden Desert have ruled their caravans, providing water for their people and protection from the hot desert sun. Punishment for stealing water is death, so what is Tariq to do when the woman he’s been dreaming of is caught drinking from his oasis?

When their worlds collide, Sabine is dropped right into the plot of one of her books. One look at the sexy Viper, and it’s clear that the line between fiction and reality is slim to none. But Tariq has been promised to wed the niece of the Jackal Prince, which will form a strong alliance for his people.

Now, the Viper must choose between his duty and the woman who burns his very soul.

Sabine Santigo is a romance writer whose deadline is coming up. At the start of the book Sabine is dreaming about the desert prince from her newest work in progress, “The Viper Prince”. He wasn’t a sheikh as she told her editor, but a caravan prince who traveled to his oasis collecting water for his people. His planet Jikkar was a dry desert land with two moons. She’d begun “dreaming and writing about him the moment she’d bought a coiling snake armband, a beautiful trinket of gold with two inlaid rubies for eyes” from a flea market. One thing she never imagined was that she would travel through space and time to be dropped at the feet of the Viper Prince of Jikkar. Pure alpha male, the Viper lives by the rules of the desert and is the prince of his people. He soon finds that there is something different about the woman found stealing water from his oasis and wearing his mother’s armband. From the start of the book, he comes across as a strong ruler and someone to fear, even though his words and actions are scary he also gives off the impression of compassion that will steal your heart right away.

It must be hard to write Sci-Fi/Fantasy stories as the author must not only tell the story but also create a completely new world for the reader to visualize without losing them in the process. People, animals, and language must be explained in such a way as to keep the reader entertained and absorbed. Ms. Going did an astonishing job in creating Jikkar and in pulling this reader into the plot. This story is action packed with many hidden twists, and kept me on the edge of my seat until the end.

What I found unique was Ms. Goings’ ability to build a new world and still carry the readers on a journey so vivid that you could almost feel the hot desert air on your skin and the dryness in your mouth right along with the heroine. I definitely connected with Sabine, and understood her fears and joy and maybe even wished I could trade places with her. The romantic in me loved watching the heroine and the hero work through the barriers of time and space and left me praying for that happy ever after for the two.

This is one book that I will re-read and a series that I am eager to continue reading. Strongly recommended!

Soldier Alex Dane promised his dying comrade he’d make sure his wife and daughter were okay, and so he finds himself on a doorstep with his heart in his mouth.

Lisa Kennedy loved her husband, but she must focus on her daughter, Lilly, who hasn’t spoken since her daddy’s death. Still, the least she can do is offer this battle-weary hero a place to rest.

When Lilly’s little hand reaches for Alex’s big, strong one, for the first time Lisa feels her buried emotions begin to stir.…

He’s a soldier who has come to bring her dead husband’s effects. She asks him in and later invites him to dinner…

With so many wars going on in the world today, this story theme is very relevant. This is a story of love and loss and coming to terms with life today. Ms. Lane has written a tastefully done story about a wounded warrior, Alex, who has learned to isolate himself and hold all emotion within. He’s made himself a life in the service, but he’s out of now and isn’t sure what to do with himself anymore.

The heroine, Lisa, has pretty well adjusted to being a widow, but his appearance and the letters he brings from her husband stir her emotions back up again. It also promotes cell reproduction and nourishes the cells by increasing blood flow to the reproductive viagra pill for woman organs. She’s not looking for a new man in her life yet, but when her daughter (who quit speaking when she found out her father had died) takes his hand to lead him out to look at the lake she can’t help but feel her heart respond.

This author talks of these emotions and how long it takes to heal with the resonance of experience. Perhaps not her own, but Ms. Lane is familiar with how hearts hurt and how they heal.

As you read about Alex and Lisa adjusting to being around each other, you begin to see the goodness in both characters and how Lisa is careful in handling the man she is growing to love. She knows there is something in his past, but doesn’t press him to talk about it. As she shares more with him, he finally begins to get more comfortable with her and shares a few things back.

The road to love is not easy, and when your potential partner is carrying some baggage, it’s even a longer road to smooth sailing. This is a sweet, romantic story with some challenges for the characters that’s well worth the read. Why not get a copy for yourself and see how it all turns out?

A series can be a set of stories that have as little in common as a setting, like Kasey Michaels alliterative Regency romances (The Tenacious Miss Tamerlane, The Anonymous Miss Adams, etc.). All are romances set in the Regency time period and have alliterative titles but have little else in common. Many series, like the Nancy Drew books so many of us remember fondly from our childhoods, may have the same set of characters and the same plot types but anyone can pick one up from any place in the series and have an enjoyable read. There is no character development and the plots are completely separate.
Then there are ones like the Harry Potter series. The central characters pretty much remain the same throughout but the plot of each sequel builds on that of the book or books that came before. And the Harry Potter of The Sorcerer’s Stone is very different from the Harry Potter of The Deathly Hallows. The characters change and grow along the way.
Different series have different common elements that will determine how closely the books are tied together.
The Orchard Hill stories stand fairly well on their own, but there is a thread of plot that flows throughout the series.
The series started with a location – a  small town much like my own.
Then I had a thought. Holiday stories are always fun. Why don’t I set each story around a holiday? The series takes place over one year’s time, with each story revolving around a holiday, from New Year’s to Christmas.
I started playing around with titles and found a pattern in the titles that I liked. It seems like titles should come last, or at least after the plot is constructed but for me, titles often come first. They inspire me to find a plot that fits them.
So I found my titles: Saving Gracie, Entertaining Angel, Considering Lily, Keeping Faith, Enduring Hope, Accepting Charity, Disrupting Harmony, Losing Patience and Finding Joy.
But it wasn’t until I met Pansy and Misty that the series really began to come together. Pansy and Misty are the matchmakers that decide to see who can make the most matches in a year’s time. It is the thread of their story that weaves through all the installments and ties the stories together, while also keeping each story separate.
I’ll talk more about Pansy and Misty and story arcs tomorrow. For more information on Orchard Hill please visit my website: http://sites.google.com/site/karalynnrussell/orchardhill

For two years, Jared waited in vain for his dragon mate to return. As he struggles to forget, a new man appears in his life. Only he isn’t a man. He is a vampire, and his task is to kill Jared.

Tomas has been entrusted with the important mission of retrieving the powerful amulet, Gaia’s Spirit–and killing its keepers. When he meets Jared Grayson, he finds that he cannot do as asked. He kidnaps Jared, hoping to keep the young werewolf safe.

Sentenced by the dragon elders to forced hibernation, Zongxian awakens only to find out his mate has vanished. Desperate, he goes in search of Jared, and in his quest, he meets a handsome vampire who takes his breath away.

Together, Tomas and Zongxian have to fight impossible odds to save Jared. Can the three-way bond survive the ruthless power of the vampire nation?

I may not be able to pronounce some of their names, but I’ll still remember these characters for a long time. Jared–easy name, Tomas–easy name again… but Zongxian, say that again! With such a difficult name, his character had to be explosive, and that he was, along with his other mates. I cannot pick just one because I loved all three of them for their own unique reason. I love Jared’s open heart and willingness to go with the punches. Tomas’s passion is evident from the moment he is introduced. Zongxian exudes power whether it is physical or mental. Together this trio is definitely a force to be reckoned with.

The relationship development was consistent throughout this story, but in the beginning, I didn’t feel the passion from the characters the way I would have liked to. It was clear they were mates and wanted each other, I just would like to have felt that extra oomph. Fingers itching to touch one another, sneaking a glance when the other man is not looking, that type of connection. In addition, the sex didn’t occur as much as I would have expected from these characters. I expected them to be tearing off each other’s clothes constantly. Then again, if I had villain after villain threatening my family and me, I would probably put sex on the backburner also.

The author really incorporates little extra effects in this story to make it stand out. While most of the story is based in the modern world, there is some parallel traveling involved that adds a certain element to the story. Moreover, the paranormal element is explosive! You have dragons, vampires, werewolves, mythical creatures, snake shifters … the list just keeps going. These unique characters and relationships between them really made this story a standout.

Despite this book being part of a series, I felt right at home even though I have not read the previous stories. After meeting the characters, I would love to go back and read the previous stories, but it was not necessary in order to enjoy this story.

Because of the great characters, exciting plot and the fact that it can be read alone I recommend Dragon’s Bloodmoon and will continue to follow the Deadly Mates series.

Medication cialis 20mg generika is made depending on the intensity of albumin level in urine. My latest book is Fighting Chance, a m/m vampire sequel to Last Chance; although both my books are stand-alone. In FC, I have created the Kresnik (vampire slayers) and vampire worlds inspired by Slavic mythology. My vampires are from different sects and have different strengths and weaknesses. Johan, who is a strix, becomes weak and unconscious when exposed to salt. Hor, a Red Serpent, cannot be exposed to sunlight for long, and has a weakness when it comes to bodies of water.

Vampires have always enjoyed popularity among readers, but for me, it was Anne Rice’s vampire series that really took the vampire pathos to a new level of sensuality. Vampire Lestat was the ultimate sexy brat.

Number 1:
Lestat d’ Lioncourt – introduced in Interview with a Vampire by Anne Rice – here’s a description from Wikipedia…six feet tall. He has blond hair that is not quite shoulder length, and that is rather curly, which sometimes appears white under fluorescent lighting. His eyes are gray, but they absorb the colors of blue or violet easily from surfaces around them. He has a short narrow nose, and a mouth that is well shaped, but has always been slightly large for his face. His mouth can look very mean or extremely generous, but always sensual. He has a continuously animated face. Lestat’s fingernails look like they are made of glass. (Nice!)

Number Two:
Count Dracula – the story that set the vampire canon! In 1992 Francis Ford Coppola’s film brought to life a very sexy, angst filled Count Dracula played by Gary Olman. In a strange way, I had wished the Count could have been redeemed at the end of the film instead of having a stake put through his heart.

Number Three:
Angel – let’s not forget Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the TV program revitalizing the vampire myth and popularizing the benevolent vampire! Wikipedia: SFX magazine named Angel as the third greatest vampire in television and film, with rival Spike in first place. They claim that, while he could have worked simply as a brooding love-interest (Buffy) or redemption-seeking hero (Angel), the character also has a “wonderfully appealing, self-effacing humour, helped no end by Boreanaz’s ability to look like a slapped puppy”. While Angel could be “big and hard and manly”, he could also be “sulky, pathetic, in need of a hug”. They also cite his poor singing and dancing as examples of his “amusing awkwardness”, which “spoke volumes about who he was”.

Number Four:
Mick St. John – is from the Moonlight TV series, and although the series was short-lived, he’s my friend’s favorite sexy vampire. Mick is a private investigator who was turned into a vampire on the night of his wedding (poor man!). Also, this vampire has his standards and will not hunt women, children, or innocents. Ah, a nice guy, too.

Number Five:
Johan Maier III – last but not least, I have a soft spot for my vampire! He’s introduced in Last Chance and is one of the main characters in Fighting Chance. Johan was an aristocrat in Austria in the 18th century when he was turned. Hundreds of years later, he now has a chance to regain his humanity by injecting a newly created antivampire serum. I’m jazzed to announce Fighting Chance, my m/m vampire romance, is now available today at Loose Id! You can read an excerpt at http://www.loose-id.net.
