Evin KinKaid, the only son of the KinKaid pack’s alpha, has a secret. One that will tear his family apart. In one year, Evin is to succeed his father as alpha leader and continue the dominant bloodline of his family. There’s only one problem: Evin is gay. When Evin is pushed into the bed of his intended female mate, he’s forced to reveal the truth. And for an alpha male wolf shifter promised to a female whose goal is to one day be queen, coming out has never been more explosive.

To Mason Thorne II, heir to Thorne Global Inc., life is a lie. To sustain his father’s love, Mason has agreed to stay in the family business and to one day assume his place as CEO. Instead of reaching for his heart’s desire, he’s settled for a life he never wanted. But an unexpected auto accident will send Evin and Mason into each other’s arms and down a path toward a destiny neither man can escape: an eternity sealed in blood.

The choice between being happy when it means going against your family has never been easy for anyone, yet it continues to plague many. We have all had to make decisions in our lives that our family would not approve of. Evin KinKaid and Mason Thorne are no different. This is probably one of the first things that drew me to this story, because I too have had to draw a line between keeping myself happy or those around me.

I could not imagine being in Evin’s position. To have to bed a woman you are absolutely not attracted to because of your sexual preference. I truly do sympathize with him. Erectile dysfunction is different from other conditions that completely go with purchase viagra uk it. They can easily increase your libido, enhance sexual performance, improve purchase generic levitra blood circulation, treat hormonal imbalances and above all, benefit your overall health. It also helps you last longer in the sack as it can give sildenafil generic viagra more energy to keep going for somewhat more than 6 hours. I would still caution that one critical component of any effective energy policy or policy metaphor is generic viagra australia the introduction of reasonable constraints on human energy-using behavior. He really does put the needs of others in front of his own and anyone who does that deserves something for themselves. The only thing that Evin asked for himself is Mason, and as far as I was concerned he deserved him. There were moments in this story when I forgot I was reading and felt like Evin was a close friend coming to me for support, and for that I say bravo to author Jessica Lee.

Hot, steamy lovemaking was a big part of what this story provided. Evin and Mason could not keep their hands off each other. With those deliciously muscular bodies I can understand why. The passion when these two made love leaped off the pages. Not only were these scenes spicy but they were also romantic at the same time. In my opinion they were perfectly written with just the right amount of everything.

The subplot in this story was like the dollop of whip cream on top of an ice cream sundae. The story would have been good without it, but you might have felt like something was missing. I really think it worked well. The author even made you feel a little sympathy towards the antagonist at one point, which is a trait I have always enjoyed since antagonists are people too.

Once I started reading this story I could not put it down because I just had to see how the plot played out. I’m betting you will feel the same way.

It doesn’t help that Ren is every bit as beguiled and perfectly willing for their business relationship to be much more. Will Karma be able to resist Slayer’s many charms? Though their kinds have been at war for years, and by all rights they should be tearing each other apart, they just can’t seem to keep their hands off each other.

Assassins in Lace: Impressions is a very quick and very graphic story. This tale isn’t for the modest or easily embarrassed. Out of thirty-seven pages, about twenty are filled with detailed sexual content. While I can’t find fault in the author’s writing, I would have liked to see a little more plot. Other than some basic information, I really didn’t get to know the characters very much, particularly Ren. I think some emotions were a little rushed, but in this short of a story, there isn’t a lot of time to delve into character and plot development. Overall, it was a fun read and definitely got my motor running.

As a dancer on a luxury cruise liner, Taffy has a dream job: earning tax-free money for something she’s passionate about, while not spending a cent on bed & board. Taffy, however, has a secret and the money is not coming in fast enough for her liking, especially when her focus turns away from money towards the steady, sexy and dark Ashton, whose ex-girlfriend shares Taffy’s crew cabin.

The pool boy, Ashton, is in reality the undercover heir to the shipping company’s fortune. When an emerald pendant is stolen, Ashton has to discover the culprit before the company’s reputation is compromised. As much as he hates to admit it, Taffy is the prime suspect….

Dance Like Everyone’s Watching is Book One in the Cruise Liner Adventures Series, and it’s a fun short story that starts the series off nicely. Taffy is a new dancer on board a cruise ship where a jewel theft takes place. Ash, who’s undercover as the ship’s pool boy, must investigate the theft while also falling in love with Taffy. The physical attraction between the two happens immediately and drives the story along strongly. Both have a secret or two to hide, and both try their best to resist the other, but luckily for the reader, that doesn’t happen!

Ash is a handsome ladies’ man – the perfect hero for this story. Taffy, though she comes across as a fragile, uncertain newcomer, reveals her animal side in a couple of sizzling foreplay scenes. Interest of getting erotic in women usually gets decrease after a child birth. cialis uk The other fact check out to find out more levitra on line sale of drinking too much coffee, equal to or more than 8 cups a day can lead to elevated blood pressure. If men suffer from viagra in stores erection problems after having Peyronie’s Disease, however, there are medications that can assist. The single sexual encounter the two have is well worth waiting for, though I admit I would have liked to see more!

The setting of a cruise ship is a great place for the action to unfold, and the jewel theft adds a nice secondary conflict to the story as Taffy becomes the prime suspect. A couple of minor characters add good flavor too, including Ash’s jealous ex-girlfriend, Helena.

Probably the only drawback of this story is its length, as it isn’t really long enough to develop the conflict without tipping off the reader. As such, it’s pretty easy to determine who the true jewel thief is. And, despite its length, I would have liked another sex scene or two. Ash resists Taffy for so long that at times the reader almost wonders why. Giving in to his temptation wouldn’t have weakened his character, in my opinion, and would have been more realistic considering the incredible attraction between the two.

If you’re looking for a fun short story set in a romantic, “getaway” locale, this one will meet your needs. I look forward to more of the Cruise Liner Adventures!

Two men plus one woman equals three bodies on fire…

A Red Hot Winter story.

True Wyatt’s hands are going to be full enough keeping the herd alive through the dead of winter. The last thing he needs to hear is that his brother Lonny has rented out their isolated hunting cabin to a reclusive writer—especially a sassy, disaster-prone brunette. Who has time to babysit a city girl until spring?

With a deadline looming, erotica writer Honey Cahill is looking forward to six distraction-free weeks to finish her next book. However, between Lonny’s flirty sensuality and True’s hard-edged intensity, the Wyatt brothers set the stage of her imagination for a winter of wicked delights.

The fire that destroys the cabin, though, is as real as it gets. Forced to seek a bed under True and Lonny’s roof, the temptation to experiment—all in the name of research, of course—is overpowering. One night in their arms doesn’t feel like enough; it feels like more. Particularly with one cowboy who fires all her cylinders…

Imagine you’re in the middle of your own novel with two gorgeous cowboys. Honey Cahill is a woman in need for an escape, but when the cabin she is slated to stay in burns down, what’s a girl to do? When a handsome young cowboy offers another alternative she jumps at the chance.

True was a great male lead, a bit rough around the edges but it works for him. I love to read stories where the female or male lead is an author it just adds that extra oomph to the story. Honey was both funny and heartwarming in her role as a woman on her own. I loved the touch about her husband, it really made you grow to love her character and appreciate what she has had to endure.

The main characters in this story had quite unique names which suited them perfectly. All and all this was a great quick, hot read filled with two very sexy cowboys. I will be putting it in my keeper pile. I am secretly hoping Lone will get his own story.

What if you’re a guardian angel and fail to do your job?

Araton has been a guardian angel for less than a century when a moment of distraction causes his human charge to be hit by a car. He expects to be punished – and is surprised to find out there is room for leniency – and even a new job. Will he be any better at being a Christmas angel?

Jake is a former pro-football player whose knee injury has prevented him from fulfilling a lifelong dream. He turns his attention to extreme sports instead. When he falls into an ice cave during a solitary trip just before Christmas he believes it is the end of the road for him. Nothing short of a miracle will save him…

Araton has a choice between two heavens. The heaven he resides in as an Angel or the heaven he and Dexter have created together.

Araton was not your ideal angel. The reality is he was never cut out to be a guardian angel. One aspect of Araton that I adored was his inexperience at being human. Something simple like making toast was completely baffling to him. It added innocence to his character that brought a smile to my face. He may not have made a good guardian angel by the archangel’s standards, but he was everything I would like to see in an angel. Perhaps the biggest culprit, though, may be some problem with your lifestyle and this is why you should check for the authenticity and license of the online pharmacy are FDA approved and unless a over the counter products you need to provide a prescription to buy these drugs online. cialis professional online The manner in which people are looking forward towards Ayurveda now, we are sure that the buy cialis without prescription future is commingled with the past. This story was a little slow to start. The beginning of the story is more about Araton and the angel status. For me I would have liked to have seen Dexter and Araton’s relationship begin to develop than maybe work in the Angel stuff throughout their relationship. I will say that once the relationship development got started I was enthralled. I loved the way these men cling to one another from the beginning. This was definitely a relationship that anyone would be awestruck by.

Araton’s situation is one I definitely sympathize with. The poor man is really but into a position that no one would envy. Lucky for him he as a strong support system including Dexter and a few angels. They help to make his decision easier and even help intervene a few times to save his back. I just hope that his choice does not affect his relationships with these supporting characters because that would truly be sad.

I am quickly developing a fascination with angel stories and this one had only increased my need for more angelic creatures.

Unlike his fellow warriors, Kysen already found his mate—the woman who stirred his blood like no other. But he’d been mortal at the time. When she died, he vowed to never love again. He feared the day Ra’s decree that all his warriors take mates would fall upon him. How could he spend eternity with a woman he could never love? But when he stumbles upon the spitting image of her, he wonders if his beloved has returned.

Cena is disappointed in men. Perhaps reading too many romance novels has done her in, but no man lives up to what she’s read…and dreamed. For years a faceless man has entered her sleep, filling her dreams with passion. Once she meets the tall stranger who stares at her with longing, her dreams come to life. Now she wants him in her bed. But once she has him there, her life changes forever. Thrust into a dangerous world she never knew existed, she must cheat death in this life to keep him.

What good is eternal love when the woman you want died hundreds of years ago?

As one of sun god Ra’s six chosen warriors, Kysen had already found his mate. Problem was, she’d died an untimely death and he vowed never to love again. A protector of humanity, Kysen had lived a long time fighting the minions of Apep, god of evil. He’s content, albeit lonely, in his life. But Ra has other plans for him. Sometimes, even love can transcend time.

Cena has sworn off men. She’s never found the perfect guy to give herself too and blames it on her high standards, that and too many romance novels that set every man she meets up for failure. When tall dark, and way too gorgeous for the likes of her—aka Kysen–shows up one day at her work, she feels a desire for him she’s never felt before. Even his Egyptian heritage seems a perfect match for hers. What’s more, the dream that’s plagued her since childhood has taken on his likeness. Things seems way too good to be true. Marisa Chenery has penned one heckuva story with Reincarnated Hunger. I can’t say much else but, wow. I am totally reeling and so in love with her characters. I hated it to end. From the get go, you’re sucked in to Kysen’s dilemma. He’s not your just your typical warrior, he’s a vampire too. But the author has created a whole new meaning to the word. The expected immortality and fangs are there, but that’s where the likeness ends. She’s given her vampires characteristics that I’ve never seen before. I found it refreshing and a creative change to the typical brooding, blood thirsty, creature of the night. Cena is so saucy and naïve at the same time that you can’t help but love her. The sex is hot hot hot and had me squirming in my chair.

I can be a difficult reader to please and tend to nit-pick things early on, but a few pages into it and I was completely engrossed. It’s been a long time since I’ve read a story that won my heart from the get go and Reincarnated Hunger will definitely go on my Favorites shelf. The author’s use of grammar punctuation were impeccable. If there were any point of view violations I didn’t pick up on them, I was too absorbed into the story to notice. I honestly can’t think of anything that needs improved. Thank you, Ms. Chenery, for creating a story that this reader will remember for a long time to come.

If you’d like to see a new twist on the typical vampire and the notion of reincarnated love tweaks your interest, then be sure to grab a copy of Reincarnated Hunger. It will have you glued to the pages, eager to see what happens next.

Fruity Fortune by Lily Harlem

“The apple has been considered an aphrodisiac ever since Eve tempted Adam with it in the Garden of Eden. If an unmarried girl peels an apple in a continuous strip without breaking it, she should then fling it over her left shoulder. If it falls in one piece, the shape will indicate the initial of the man who will satisfy her deepest, darkest desires.”

“You don’t believe this mumbo-jumbo do you, Sarah?”

“These old wives tales always have some truth to them.” I continued to peel the rosy red Pippin, being careful to keep the peel in one long strand as it concertinaed onto the plate.

“Give it up.” Julie frowned. “You’ve been out on six dates in the last four months none of whom you’ve even let kiss you goodnight.”

I groaned. “Yeah, don’t remind me.” They’d been nice enough guys, cute, successful, attentive, but my heart just hadn’t been in it – trouble was, only I knew why.

Glancing around Tanner’s near empty canteen I jerked my arm backwards, flicking the long fruity strand of peel over my left shoulder. I spun. Julie craned her neck.

“B,” I said triumphantly, studying the coiled peel resting on the lime green linoleum.

“Could be a capital R,” Julie said, wrinkling her nose.

“Definitely a B.” I shoved back my chair and grabbed my handbag. “Come on, we’ll be late for Rudart’s weekly sales meeting.”

Julie dashed into the ladies to fix her face as I rode the elevator. Alone I stared at my reflection in the smoky mirrored doors. My make-up was immaculate and my dark blonde hair poker straight. I eased out the wrinkles of my uber short skirt and adjusted the pearly beads hanging around my neck.

Level eight. The door slid open.

Brendon Carlisle stepped in.

My heart rate rocketed.

Brendon Carlisle was the sole, undisputed reason why my recent dates had been non-starters.

He wasn’t tall, dark and handsome. Well, handsome yes, but he was only an inch taller than me in my work heels. His hair was blond, a sun-kissed surfer blond which hung around his face in sharp, spiky bangs. His nose was biggish but dead straight and his lips wide and soft. His eyes crinkled at the corners when he smiled and when he concentrated a neat vertical line plowed between his brows. How did I know all this? Because I’d spent hours studying him in Rudart’s dumb meetings.

Brendon bobbed his head in my direction and poked level nine. Whenever he moved I was mesmerized. He oozed both nonchalance and sin; it was as if he was wasting time at work until he could catch a wave, bungee from a bridge or get up to something dirty, sweaty and naked. How this guy was an accountant amazed me. It must be just to earn the money so he could go off on wild, daring adventures.

I shifted on my heels and stared at his back view. His shoulders were wide and his suit jacket stopped just short of the pertest butt I’d ever seen. Dragging in a breath I was hit by a fresh open water smell, clean and inviting, sparkling and vibrant.

Suddenly the elevator jerked. My knees locked and my spine lurched. A sickening grinding sound echoed above us.

“Shit,” Brendon said, glancing upward.

“What is it?” I asked, white knuckling my handbag.

He turned to me as the compartment juddered to a halt. “We’ve hit a kink in the ropes.”

“Hit a kink?”

“Yeah, happens sometimes.”

I set my bag on the floor and folded my arms to cover my hard nipples poking against my silky cream blouse. “How long till it gets going again?”

He shrugged. “Ten minutes maybe.”

“Ten minutes!”

“Hey, chill, Sarah, thirty at max.”

“Thirty!” I paused. “You know my name?”

“We’ve been working together for six months.” The right side of his mouth tilted and a small dimple appeared in his cheek. “I also know your eyes sparkle when there are cakes at a meeting and when it’s over you’re the first one up, straightening your skirt and grabbing your notes.” His gaze staked mine.

Silence hung between us. He had noticed me. The air conditioning clicked off.

“As if it wasn’t hot enough already,” I said, my skin prickling with sudden excitement.

He slipped off his jacket, grinned and stepped closer, real close. “Hot can be good, really good.”

“Brendon,” I said, placing my hands on his chest. Granite hard muscles pressed through his shirt. “But―?”

“Sarah, you and I have been dancing around each other for months, come on, admit it.”

“Admit what?” I was losing it. His stormy blue eyes were like deep oceans; I was drowning.

“We’re different from everyone else here.”

“We are?”

“Yeah, we have a sense of adventure, souls which seek out journeys of discovery.”

He thought our souls sought adventures, together! “I suppose,” I said, feeling ridiculously ineloquent, but only for a micro-second because then his lips slammed onto mine. His tongue probed and searched, filling me with a minty, male flavour.

I whimpered and surrendered to the best kiss I’d had in years, no, make that ever! I clutched his shirt, fisting soft cotton and hung on for the delirious, wonderful mating of our tongues.

“You taste so sweet, I knew you would,” he murmured, his lips leaving my mouth and traveling across my cheek. “I’ve dreamed about doing this in every one of those damn meetings.”

I buckled my legs to stay upright. A fire was raging inside me, lusty, desperate flames of desire. Oh, god, I wanted Brendon.

My palms slid down his flat, tense abs., grabbed the base of his shirt and tugged hard. I had to have flesh on flesh; we were like two magnets pulling together.

He repeated the action on my silky blouse, wasting no time in sending his hand over the charged flesh on my stomach to cup my breast. I gasped as he squeezed and massaged me through my bra.

“Perfect,” he murmured, before finding my mouth again. His other hand was rucking up my skirt. I hooked one leg around his knee, grinding onto his hard, taut thigh muscles. What the hell was I doing? Only the thin strip of my silk panties separated my pussy from his suit pants. “Ah, Jesus,” he hissed, staring into my eyes.

I met his intense, excited gaze.

“You up for risk?” he asked, a sexy dimple appearing in his cheek again.

Risk? What risk? Oh, yes, the risk of having sex at work in the elevator. To heck with it. He was right, I was an adrenalin junkie. “Yes,” I said, fumbling for his fly zip. “But hurry.”

He slipped his finger beneath the gusset of my panties and skimmed over my clit. Shockwaves of desire tore through me, but I didn’t stop to relish them, instead I delved into his pants and wrapped my hand around his huge, rigid cock. He groaned, deep and guttural and in one sweeping movement hoisted me up, forcing me to release his erection. My back slammed against the mirrored wall and I wrapped my legs around his waist.

He yanked my panty gusset out of his way. “Fuck, I’ve wanted this for so long,” he said, the head of his cock butting up against my weeping pussy.

“Me to,” I gasped. “Quick, now.”

With one almighty thrust he surged in. I cried out in pleasure.

“Lord help me,” he moaned, withdrawing and slamming back in to the hilt.

An orgasm raced towards me. I’d never been on the edge of climax so quickly. I clawed my fingers through his hair, raking it back from his face. “Harder,” I shouted, my voice carnal and rasping. “Faster.”

He upped the pace and instantly tipped me over the edge. “Yes, yes,” I cried, spiralling into a free fall of ecstasy.

His breaths were rough in my ear. “Argh, fuck!” he groaned, freezing high inside me. My spasming pussy milked him, contracted and tightened around his pulsing cock. He shuddered, juddered, forged higher still. Then he was kissing me again, his tongue urgent and wet, moans of appreciation gurgling up from his throat.

The lift jolted, our joined bodies jerked.

“Shit,” he muttered, unlooping my legs and withdrawing his cock.

I landed on my heels, adjust my panties, smoothed my skirt and hair.

The lift door slid open.

A blond mechanic stood wielding a tool bag. “You guys okay?” His storm blue gaze slid over us. “You look flushed.”

“Damn lift and cranky air-con,” Brendon muttered, passing me my bag. His eyes caught mine. “You free for dinner?”

“Is there dessert?”

“Count on it, now I’ve had one bite of the apple I won’t be able to resist.” His mouth curled in a devastatingly sexy grin.

I stepped out the lift, straightened my pearls and glanced at the mechanic’s brass name badge: Robert Carlisle.

The characters in Mongrel, both the heroes and the secondary characters, are exceptionally well-formed and fleshed out. All have their good sides and their bad sides, their ups and downs. I enjoyed the fact that I wasn’t sure which side some characters would end up on when we first met them; as in real life, we were kept guessing for awhile. In addition to the primary romance, which is at turns both tender and heated, there is a secondary romance between two other characters, which helps build on the primary romance. The universe this book is set in is well thought out and well made. In addition to the Mongrels and the steampunk aspect, there a few other paranormal creatures, but it never gets overwhelming or confusing, and is all very believable. While the mystery/suspense facet of the story is probably equal in amount to the romance facet, the two dovetail together very well to make a fast-paced, exciting story.

Mongrel is a must for fans of steampunk, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a historical romance with a little something extra. The fantastical setting and engaging characters will stay in your mind long after reading, and I hope there will be more books set in this world.

The lunch rush at Darryl Hansen’s restaurant, Café Belgie, is getting to be too much for one man to handle, and Billy Weaver is a young man in search of a job—any job—to support his family. Billy gains Darryl’s respect with his earnest nature and willingness to work hard, but Billy’s admiring looks resurrect pain and shame from Darryl’s past.

Until Darryl stumbles across Billy’s secret, Billy is suffering in silence: his father died a few months earlier, leaving him struggling to raise his twin five-year-old brothers. Darryl takes Billy and the boys to the restaurant, where they’ll stand together to face the smorgasbord of troubles in their future… while Davey, Donnie, and Billy all worm their way into Darryl’s heart.

The old saying “the devil is in the details” is certainly applicable even when turned on its head. The sublime experience is in the details, as well. This lovely, well-crafted story accomplishes a number of things, dramatically and emotionally, but it’s in the loving descriptions that Mr. Grey truly pulls the reader close. There are beautiful sketches of Carlisle, a charming town I was gratified to revisit, if only on the pages. There are wonderful descriptions of food and the preparation thereof, which the author pulls off in realistic and often mouthwatering fashion. Even the descriptions of the threadbare apartment the boys live in are painted in heartbreaking detail.

The more of Mr. Grey’s work I read, the more I see this as his greatest strength—his ability to choose difficult subjects and unfold them in front of us in such a way that would stir even the hardest hearts. In Billy, we have a young man in a situation all too common these days. Thrust into the role of parent far too young, not because of bad choices on his part, but because no one else is available to fill the role, Billy struggles to provide to his two small brothers. While this is always heartbreaking to watch a young person put aside childhood and youth to shoulder such overwhelming responsibility, Billy does it with admirable determination and optimism. But this problem can canada cialis levitra be cured effectively and simply by using the herbal testosterone boosting supplements. Androgenic alopecia or male pattern hair loss is by far the viagra no prescription india most prevalent cause of baldness in most men. What is the dosage pattern for cialis wholesale? cialis 100mg is said to be having the condition of erectile dysfunction when he is regular facing some kind of difficulty in maintaining a firmness in his penis whilst the sexual activity. Regular massage therapy will help your therapist to find out particular muscle groups and work specific tissues and purchase levitra online view this store the chance to find out particular trouble spots. One doesn’t get a feeling of issue for the sake of melodrama here, but rather a sense of something very real. Too many children in our country go to bed hungry, and Billy’s struggle to provide for them day by day comes across as the desperate bargaining with circumstances it so often becomes.

Darryl, the other half of our story, deals with the guilt and self-doubt still with him from a stay in a ‘reprogramming’ facility. This could have been a story of its own, but we’ve met Darryl many years later and Mr. Grey chooses to show us his struggle towards normalcy rather than the terrible immediate effects of such misguided emotional abuse. By Darryl’s actions, the way he approaches life and deals with his employees, the reader sees he is a moral, compassionate person, yet he still doubts himself and his motives.

While we have a typical older man-younger man pairing here in the physical sense, our couple is otherwise anything but typical. We see that they truly need each other’s strengths and that there is the possibility, despite the employer/employee dynamic, for a balanced relationship, a meeting of equals.

The only small nits I had with the story, and they are small indeed, were some of the “kid-speak” portions of dialogue, which didn’t always ring quite true to me, and the fact that Darryl’s epiphany about himself seems to come too abruptly. Not that it can’t happen suddenly, but as a reader I felt a bit jarred.

Overall, this is a story told with heart and with loving care, with characters who the reader can’t help but love. Food, the element that holds all of the story’s characters together, comes through in marvelous presentations and mouth-watering detail. The next time I’m in Carlisle, I’ll be tempted to look for Café Belgie. I know it won’t be there, but that won’t stop me from wishing.

This short story is a whirlwind.

It jumps right into the story with no introduction, and at first I was slightly confused, but once I got into the groove it was smooth sailing.
