Intrigued by Katie’s faithfulness to her inconsiderate, former husband, cynical Sebastian relishes the challenge of overcoming the damage they’ve both suffered at the hands of their respective ex-spouses. Katie has a problem, a big old problem that needs sorting out and her friend Joy has decided to take matters into her own hands by organising her a date with the elite One Night Stand Agency. The problem, well, it’s delicate. Katie was married for ten years to her childhood sweetheart, but despite many bedroom encounters he never managed to squeeze out an orgasm for her. Not suprising really when he was no doubt dreaming about being with a man rather than a woman! So now, divorced and beliveing herself to be abnormal in the ‘downstairs’ department, frigid and lacking passion she finds herself catching the eye of a gorgeous hunk in the Castillo Hotel.

Turns out ‘gorgeous hunk’ is her dreamy date and he’s determined to put matters straight for Katie. Oh, la, la, yes, he’s a determined sort and from the moment he introduces himself you just know he’s not going to fail on his mission.

I enjoy the One Night Stand books and this one is no exception. It’s a hot quickie with great characters, it’s well written and the sex is super hot m/f with enough angst and dilemma to keep the pages turning.

I enjoyed Ms York’s voice, it was fresh and flowed nicely. The heroine was a real wild cat and did a lot of wailing as she came. The hero Sebastian was drool worthy and I loved the passion and urgency that came from the page, especially the sudden urgency to take their desire into the bedroom and him hopping around with his jeans half undone – great stuff, very visual.

If you want a steamy read for your coffee break this could be the book for you.

Being the daughter of a High Lord means that Kayli’s life is never totally hers. She is progressing well in her magical studies in the Temple of Inner Flame when suddenly her father arrives to let her know that he has made an arranged marriage for her with the heir to the throne of a neighboring country with the hopes that the two warring nations could find peace.

This novel is Kayli’s story and I was very impressed with the way Anne Logston has created a rich and fully drawn character, one who develops and changes as the story progresses. Kayli is young and powerful, on her way to becoming an initiate in the order, showing an amazing talent even as a novice. I sensed her pride in her accomplishment and her great disappointment when just as she is to take her first fire-walk, she is stopped by the arrival of her father. As the novel progresses, Kayli develops in maturity and dignity. She handles the news of her impending marriage with as much calmness as her fiery nature will allow, realizing that even if things go smoothly, her path is nevertheless uncertain.

The plot is complex and full of suspense and surprises. The pacing is excellent, and this book is a real page-turner. The two nations of Bregond and Agrond are as different as any two nations could be, primarily because of the vast differences in their physical climates and geographies. Bregond is very dry whereas Agrond is lush and green. The physical differences are of course reflected in the cultures as well, so Kayli and her new husband, Randon, have their work cut out for them in order to bring a lasting peace to these nations, a peace that powerful forces are determined to destroy.

This is the first novel in the Firewalk series and I found it to be totally captivating. Readers of fantasy are sure to find a new favorite with Firewalk and I look forward to future novels in the series.

Rescuing a crashed ship, she never expected to meet one of her own kind, and she certainly never expected to fall in love.

Tyhana has lived her life in a farming community; the only winged person she has ever seen is in the mirror. Her family has been a joy and feeling the love of her adopted clan has given her the confidence to become all she could.

When she is watching a meteor shower and a star comes directly toward the valley where she lives, she finds a man inside the ship who needs her help. He has a dislocated wing.
Believing my friend’s words, I started using Procerin and after about ninety days use, believe me I was so tense with this sexual issue that I fail to manage my daily act. levitra without prescription It will lead to speedy recovery of the weak penile. free get viagra So whether you are in your middle or senior years this vardenafil cost is probably not such a bad thing if the generic version is legit, many times scams are created that sell fake medication to unknowing patients. Seldrin was on his way to take a post as ambassador when he ran afoul of a meteor. It knocked him out of the sky and into the path of an angel. An angel who snaps his wing back in place like it was the most normal thing for her to do.

Good deeds may be their own rewards, but sometimes the consequences of helping someone else aren’t necessarily what one would expect them to be.

I really liked the descriptions of Tyhana’s playful, loving relationship with her six younger siblings. They have clearly been raised in a happy home, and it was nice to see siblings from such a wide range of ages maintain such close bonds with one another. Portraying this part of her life shows the where the nurturing side of Tyhana’s personality might have developed. It also adds a touch of humour to her tale that makes it difficult to stop reading.

Unfortunately, this story includes multiple grammar and punctuation errors. While the vast majority of them didn’t alter the meaning of the text, the errors happened often enough that I was distracted from the plot. Had this not been the case this tale would have easily earned a much higher rating as the characters, setting, and plot were quite well written.

The fast-paced plot was perfect for this piece. It works so well in large part because of the heavy emphasis on exploring certain questions that are raised early on. I didn’t want Tyhana’s adventures to end. While I don’t know if Ms. Grace is planning to write a sequel, these characters have only begun to reveal their true selves and I would be quite interested in getting to know them better in a sequel.

Feather’s Blossom is a great choice for anyone who loves stories about winged people. It reads like a fairy tale for adults, and I am looking forward to revisiting it soon.

The best hunter for the wolf shifters has met his match when he’s introduced to the small town human who captures his attention and heart.
Clint Price is enjoying his temporary assignment with the Alpha Council. The best part of every day is his morning visit to the local coffee shop. He soon finds himself enchanted by the human business owner.

Sara Webb hadn’t known that shifters really existed, so finding out that the large compound just outside of town was full of them was a shock. One look at Clint and she is more than intrigued.

When the town of Lovington is invaded with protesters and Clint is threatened, the residents come together in support. With the help of their friends and family, Clint and Sara fight for both their newfound love and shifter freedom.

Clint and Sara seem to have a similar goal in life, to protect those around them. Clint has done this most of his life by joining the service, as well as protecting his shifter friends and allies. Sara also has this drive, either just ingrained in her from birth, or by seeing her father the sheriff doing it for years. Together they make one heck of a team, including in the bedroom.

I had been introduced to Clint in previous stories, yet I still didn’t know much about him. I enjoyed the little bit of intrigue I had about him from the beginning. Clint is clearly a man who takes personal pride in his duty, which includes protecting those around him. He is even willing to sacrifice himself to accomplish this. He also has a way of accepting others that I found charming. While Sarah is human he doesn’t seem to care, and accepts her and those she holds dear almost immediately. He is a superhero in my eyes.

Sarah is not to be outdone by Clint. She too protects those she holds dear with the fierceness I would expect from a strong woman like herself. She accepts shifters, and the world around her, with a certain amount of bravado that others would not be capable of.

This story picks up where the last one ended. It can be read alone, but there may be a little disconnect with some of the conflict. I will say that most of these stories in this series are so addictive that you can read through them quickly, so going back to get acquainted with the other characters and previous plot build will not be a challenge. I have and will continue to recommend author Crissy Smith and The Were Chronicles to anyone looking for an entertaining shifter story, especially if you like a little spice.
