More than gold awaits two lovers at the end of the trail.

Mariah Tate and her dog, Worthy, persuade veteran guide Campbell Jefferson to let them join his expedition headed to California. Camp can’t say no to the beautiful widow, but his need to protect her soon clashes with her need to keep secrets. Mariah left more than bad memories behind in Pennsylvania and her growing attraction to the stoic but surprisingly sensitive Camp forces her to face up to the consequences of the choices she’s made. Camp doesn’t know what Mariah’s hiding, but he’s determined not to let the only woman who ever made him want to settle down get away. He pursues her across the prairies, through stampedes, Indian raids, desert drought and mountain snows. In the gold camps of California, Camp will discover Mariah’s secret, and prove the love she wants most isn’t out of reach.

Mariah Tate respects and depends on wagon master Campbell Jefferson’s ability to guide her to California. Determined and practical, Mariah plans for a new start far from her old home. She does more than her share of work on the trail, but Campbell soon learns that trying to control Mariah is like trying to control the wind.

Her persistence and Campbell’s sensing something different about her makes him forego many of his long-standing rules. He allows her to join the wagon train, even though she is a twenty-four-old woman traveling alone. Of course, she does have Worthy, her dog that looks like a wolf and is totally devoted to her.

Cindi Myers uses many of the usual elements that western historical readers are familiar with, but all these become incidental as the characters come alive as they are tested to their limits on the life-changing journey from Independence, Missouri to California. Their attitudes about how to handle their emotional baggage as well as their physical baggage pretty much determine who makes it to California and who succumbs to the rigors of the journey.

Mariah is a survivor and an optimist, but the burden of guilt she carries overwhelms her at times. It also offers effective treatment for Alzheimer’s disease, flatulence, shock, depression, hardening of arteries and purchase levitra online insomnia. The medication has taken the world by storm and has caused quite a stir, as men from all around the world are purchasing Kamagra tablets. cheapest cialis Tadalafil inhibits (delaying) the enzyme discount levitra purchase PDE-5, allowing you to get stronger and more durable erection. No side effects If you are viagra without prescription robertrobb.com getting all the benefits testosterone can offer. Worthy seems to sense her moods and is always there to help her regain her emotional balance and her courage so she can move on. Worthy proves his ‘worth’ in many ways as the story unfolds—especially in the episode with the Sioux Indians–spellbinding.

Campbell, handsome and rugged, has a wildness about him. He says he hates taking wagon trains to California, but he feels compelled as if he has no choice. He is ready to settle down with peace and quiet after this, his seventh trek across the country. He wants Mariah, who stirs a never-before-known passion in him, to come with him when they get to California, but he knows something in her past holds her apart from him.

The secondary characters are a kaleidoscope of personalities, hopes, dreams, and strengths. The “me-first” attitudes of a few bring disaster more than once. The gambler St. John and Crystal, who travels with him, and the elder Latham prove to be antagonists on a par with the Indians. They do present mega challenges for Campbell and Mariah.

West With the Wind propels the reader along, at times gently and at other times in emotional or physical storms that are breath-holding happenings. The descriptions of the environment leave no doubt about how difficult the trek across half a continent is, but most of all the characters-good and bad-seem so real with their flaws and foibles that make the reader feel as if they are personal acquaintances.

Once again Cindi Myers entertains with her smooth, compelling writing style as she takes the reader on a vicarious trip that keeps one turning pages.

For months, coffee shop owner Ian Long has fantasized about a customer he knows only as “Blue Eyes.” Until he learns Blue Eyes is in the midst of a divorce—the last thing Ian wants is to be the rebound experiment of a straight guy. Giving in to lust, he invites the man into the café after hours and they indulge in a little exhibitionist play, but Ian is unwilling to get involved.

When he’s forced to see Jeff again to return his briefcase, Ian finally agrees to go out on a date. Dinner quickly becomes an erotic encounter in a special room at the sex club Mavericks, and Ian realizes Jeff satisfies desires he didn’t know he had. The more he gets to know Jeff as a person, the harder it is to resist falling for him.

Jeff makes it clear he’s interested in more than just sex. He wants to go public with their relationship in more ways than one. But can Ian open his heart, when he fears it will be broken?

My fingers are still tingling from the erotic heat coming off this book. I was completely hooked after only a few pages and refused to stop reading until I had finished. This book had me captivated by its well written plot and titillating eroticism.

Pulled Long was my first book that was strictly an M/M erotic romance and I had mixed feelings going into it. I have read other stories with M/M scenes but it was never the focus of the story so I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. This was the last book in the Long Shot series by Christine d’Abo, and I really enjoyed the first two, not to mention that Ms. d’Abo had been leading up to this story throughout this series and I really wanted Ian to have his happily ever after too. I couldn’t not read it because I was afraid to step outside my usual reading comfort zone, it just wouldn’t be fair. I can honestly say that I am now adding another genre of romance to my list of likes, this book was awesome and it opened my eyes to the fact that a love story can be beautiful and the sex just as hot, no matter what gender the characters are.

Ian Long is the co-owner of the Pulled Long coffee shop that he runs with his two sisters. Ian has been fantasizing about the handsome “Blue Eyes”, who has been coming into the shop and flirting with and teasing him for the last eight months. Ian than makes the discovery “Blue Eyes” has an ex-wife which means he isn’t really gay, or is he? Ian is one of those characters tortured by their own inner demons and guilt. He is a character with so much love to give but fears that his love does nothing but hurt those he loves. Then a headache or a stomach ache can occur. viagra pills from india The man should always make sure that he generic sildenafil canada gets over this problem. Perhaps you have found a product you like that you know a lot about – focus on selling that as an affiliate. frankkrauseautomotive.com viagra samples It online viagra no prescription is found that regular massaging of this oil helps to improve erections. I really loved Ian because he wanted so badly to be loved but he just didn’t think he was worthy of it, and I knew he was.

Jeff “Blue Eyes” Carson is Ian’s love interest in Pulled Long and he comes across as this sexy man who is honorable and aggressive. He has been showing his interest in Ian from the beginning of this series and it has ramped up the sexual tension between Ian and Jeff throughout. In Pulled Long, Jeff is finally revealed completely as an alpha male who knows exactly what he wants and he wants Ian with a single-mindedness that borders on obsession, and is extremely sexy. He wants to get to know Ian on all levels and explore the attraction between them; he just needs to convince Ian that it is a good idea.

Ms. d’Abo has written Pulled Long from Ian’s point of view, and although I would have liked to have gotten into Jeff’s head, I was mesmerized by Ian’s thoughts and feelings and felt like I was there with him the entire time. Ms. D’Abo kept me on pins and needles with her descriptive prose and rich dialogue which kept the story moving at pace that was absolute perfection. The events leading to the climax of the story were believable and there was no rush to the end.

The heat in this story was volcanic; Ms. d’Abo built up the love scenes with foreplay and emotion that had me turning the pages to see what she would reveal next. I have a fascination with sex club scenarios and this one did not disappoint, it ramped up the anticipation and the action, making my heart pump faster and accelerated my breathing. Jeff likes to give a blow by blow account of the people that are watching and what he thinks they are feeling making it that much more exciting. The love scenes and sex in this story was explosive and exciting and I did not expect to feel that kind of emotion from a M/M story and I was proven wrong.

I am a rigid reader, who doesn’t add sub-genres to her TBR list very easily but after reading Pulled Long, I have added the M/M sub-genre to my list as well as Christine d’Abo as an author. I encourage readers to run and get this series and prepare to have your socks blown off.

Lucy Ashton had long ago given up her quest for true love. In the rarified society of Victorian England, Lucy plays the game—flirting, dancing and dabbling in the newly fashionable spiritualism. Even marrying when—and who—she’s supposed to. If the stuffy Duke of Sussex cannot spark the passion she craves, he can at least give her a family, a home of her own, and a place to belong. But when her polite marriage reveals a caring and sensual man, Lucy begins to wonder if she can indeed have it all.

But Lord Sussex is not the man the London ton has come to admire. And Lucy has some ghosts of her own, as well. Thus, when a blackmail scheme turns to threats of danger, the newfound peace of the Sussex marriage is cast upon the rocks. Passion has a price, Lucy learns. And not all ghosts stay buried.

Pride and Passion is a Victorian romance with a paranormal twist. It has a rich historical feel and wonderfully lush atmosphere.

Lucy, the heroine, is in love with someone she shouldn’t be. She’s a loyal person, so it’s easy to see why she resists falling in love with Adrian. It becomes even clearer why she holds herself back when he is so painfully proper with her. How can someone love another person who is not sharing himself fully? It is easy to sympathize with Lucy and to understand why she does the things she does. She works hard to keep herself from falling for Adrian and tends to view him in a light that helps her to do that.

Adrian is a sweet, strong if somewhat priggish gentleman with a tortured background. He’ll need to show a lot more passion if he is to turn Lucy’s heart away from her first love. Once Adrian warms up however, he’s pretty hot. He’s most skilled with his tongue and by that I mean he speaks beguiling words of love and sex to Lucy. That’s one of the sexiest parts of their coming together. The sex itself is moderately spicy, not overly erotic and very romantic.

Speaking of romance, the love story is satisfying. The moment when Lucy comes to see how much Adrian cares for her and to what length he is willing to go for her, is deep and poignant. Her inner change was very moving. The paranormal aspect never takes over the romance and I liked that very much.

This is my first book from Charlotte Featherstone and I would gladly read the others.

Heiress Madeline Randall Forsythe is on the run for her very life, hiding in a small Washington town as “Randie.” Fleeing a deadly family secret, she plans to move on every couple of months to stay alive. But the night she’s due to leave Silver Creek, a blizzard, a crunched fender, and a rescue by a handsome stranger complicate her escape. While she knows relationships are impossible for a fugitive, she seizes her own destiny and lets Aidan rock her world, even as she knows the closer she gets to strangers, the more chance she has of getting caught.

Aidan Chase is a tracker who has never failed to find a target. He does his job and collects his paycheck, never getting personally involved…that is, until Randie Forsythe. There’s something off about her creepy old man, and something definitely on about sexy Randie. Looking at her, one would never believe she stole two hundred and fifty thousand dollars, especially when she’s in line to inherit millions from a sick father two paces ahead of the Grim Reaper. Against his better judgment, he puts the case aside to learn more about Randie, including discovering, quite by accident, she was a virgin before him.

This was probably the most “real” erotic romance I have ever read.

Even though this novel is paranormal in origin, I found the storyline believable and realistic. Circumstances, may have been larger-than-life, the rich girl running from her father and a werewolf tracking her, but it was their relationship that I found the most genuine.

Madeline has been on the run for six months. She knows her time is limited, but all she can do is try to stay one step ahead of her father. She wants to live and once her father catches up with her, she knows it will all end. Before she can move onto her next location she is stopped by a storm, a wolf and a stranger. With time running out she has to break free, but she is not sure if her heart can handle it.

Aidan is known as the perfect tracker. He always finds his mark, but something is off about Madeline’s case. His senses tell him her father is lying. From the moment he scents Madeline he can tell she is pure and an innocent, but there is more and he just can’t figure out what it is. Breaking one of his first rules, he gets involved. Now it’s not just her father he needs to protect her from, he needs to battle his own kind too.

Madeline and Aidan are two people with secrets that could destroy them. Madeline’s secret is heartbreakingly unbelievable and with Aidan’s secret he could lose his heart and soul. It is a race to find the truth behind the lies before their enemies take everything away from them.

There are two things that stood out for me in this book. While this is an extremely sensual novel, the love scenes were the most authentic I have ever read. Sometimes with explicit scenes, you think, “WOW, I wish I could find a lover like that”. This can sometimes create a rift in the relationship, as sex is considered the foundation of a strong and rock-hard erection of the penis and hence, the person under the effect unica-web.com generic cialis in canada of kamagra tablets enjoy higher blood flow in the muscles of their sexual organ and hence he finds himself able to sustain an erection. Additionally, computers and technology are always evolving, meaning that once cialis without prescription something has been made available, there is always a need to provide a prescription to buy these drugs online. viagra cheap price The item has gained absolute recognition among the consumers and rated as the best most efficient pills within the marketplace. This is the primary reason to buy the brand cialis sale usa unica-web.com name products as it would be just a waste of money. With Ms. Kauffman’s scenes, you think, “WOW, I have experienced lovers like that”. She writes truthfully and real. She doesn’t embellish or exaggerate. Her love scenes could happen tonight in your own bedroom. It is a nice change of pace.

The next selling point for me with Comes the Wolf was the mating bond. In most paranormal novels, the mating bonds are feral and compelling. Aidan and Madeline’s bond is natural and not forced. It flows sensually and believably. There is no animalistic posturing, just a sense of belonging. Don’t get me wrong, I love reading about the grrrrrr of the mating ritual. This was just so well written that I fell in love with Aiden, not just in lust. He was a beautifully written Alpha male.

While Comes the Wolf is a mystery/suspense, I enjoyed the romance the most. I was shocked with the reason behind the lies her father told, but I was not surprised by the outcome or how it all came about. So the mystery was a bit weak for me, but the romance more than made up for it. Ms. Kauffman told a great story. I am not disappointed one bit! I can see this storyline continuing. My fingers are crossed that it happens.

If you are looking for a truly different paranormal romance, then pick up Comes the Wolf. The story is a well told and steamy read.

A black wave of terror has passed over the thriving kingdom of Larista. Mysterious invaders have swept over the land, laying waste to everything in their path and leaving ghost towns in their wake. No one knows where they came from and no one knows their purpose.

Tasting nothing but defeat after defeat after, the light of hope is fading in the kingdom; but the guerilla forces resisting the invasion have received new information. The news has provided a small glimmer that could possibly spark into something more. Captain Maximus Rex leads a daring rescue mission deep in the Laristan forests to save the lone surviving member of the royal family.

Once freed, Prince Alexander Novelle, along with his friends and comrades, face a perilous journey deep behind enemy lines. Their destination is Castle Varanasi. The once proud Laristan capital, gateway to heaven and salvation, lines in ruins under Dolus occupation.

Mysterious assassins, underworld savages and renegade Dolus survivors stand between them and the answers they seek. What they find there will shatter their perceptions and lead to unknown perils none of them are ready to face.

Death stalkers, treason, murder and a prince who may become king give this book the flavor of an epic fantasy. No one is what they seem. And what they have been taught is not all true…

Mr. Young writes a very busy, detailed story that catches your attention in the first few pages. His characters are strong, honorable, and determined to do the right thing. Percy is in charge of the Forest Patrol. Maxi is in charge of the soldiers. Libido has often been considered as the most important feature because of which people are unable to lead a simple and pleasant life for ever. viagra cost in canada Liddell Laboratories makes a product called “Vital HGH” cialis buy uk which contains homeopathic HGH. The author creates an adventure that is a bit reminiscent of “Dungeons and Dragons”. There are Death stalkers (mercenaries that kill for pay and are deadly at their job), there is an order of sisters who are more than they seem, and religion forbids technology.

This is the earth in the future and it’s more like medieval times. The end of the world as we know it has given way to superstitions, less technology, and a struggle for power. Subways are beneath the earth and known only to a few. Everyone knows there is nothing on the other side of the mountain. The big disaster took care of that. But do they really know what they know?

With intrigue rife within the small band protecting the prince, Mr. Young develops an intertwined plot line that is only partially revealed in this volume. When you end the story, you’ll be wishing you had the next book to read. The characters are real enough to grab your interest and make you care about them, and you want to see what will happen next.

The author does a nice job of embellishing his tale with monsters, lies, tricks, and murder. If you like battles, action, hardship, comradery and determination, this story is for you.
