Full of characters obsessed with Jane Austen and set in Jane Austen locations in England, this lively modern Jane Austen romantic comedy trilogy features two pairs of lonely hearts who find each other and themselves at a Jane Austen Addicts weekend.

Dr. Katherine Roberts is a Jane Austen lecturer at St Bridget’s College, Oxford, who secretly loves the racy Regency novels of Lorna Warwick. But Lorna is really a man who’s slowly been falling in love with Katherine. He’s hoping that the Jane Austen Addicts weekend will be the perfect opportunity to declare his feelings…

A book based on people obsessed with Jane Austen was what initially intrigued me about this story, and what ultimately keep me entertained from beginning to end.

One aspect of this story that I really loved was that it followed two developing relationships. You have Katherine and Warwick, and Robyn and Dan. Both relationships were equally as important, and I was happy to see both being played out simultaneously. Katherine and Warwick’s relationship begins in deceit no matter how well-meaning the lie, and once you start with deceit it is hard to really build a strong foundation. Robyn and Dan’s relationship had one large complication: Jace, Robyn’s boyfriend for years. Even if she has grown out of him, can she really leave the man who has been part of her life for so long to follow her heart? Robyn’s dilemma is definitely a mind vs. It may seem to be trivial in the beginning that indicate on-set cialis generika 40mg of type 2 diabetes. Thirdly, the penis pump ought to cheapest prices for cialis begin chipping away at it after insertion. heart, which many of us can relate too and sympathize with.

I’ll admit that I am not a huge Jane Austen fan. I think it is important to say this because, while I am not an Austen fan, I absolutely enjoyed this story. It helped me learn more about the famous author and actually intrigued me enough to make me want to read some of Jane Austen’s stories.

This story is a based in modern time, but it also has a historical feel to it since it is based around a Jane Austen conference. This was a great way to blend modern with historical in my opinion. I have read both modern and historical stories and some who have attempted to blend the two. I think that this story is one that others can use as a great example on how to accomplish this best. At moment, I felt as if I might have been reading a story that was 200 years old, yet it still felt extremely modern. This is a story I would recommend to anyone who loves a good romance novel.

The highborn women who rule the desert planet enforce cruel restrictions on the Shareem, deeming them less than human. Creatures incapable of feeling.

But Braden feels—especially for Elisa, the librarian who aided him while researching his mission. Elisa is a celibate; Braden can be terminated for merely touching her. And touch her, he does. Teaching Elisa what it means to feel, to want, to revel in pleasures of the flesh.

When their forbidden trysts result in new restrictions, Braden realizes he’s put his fellow Shareem, his mission and, most importantly, Elisa in danger. To save her, he must leave her; only pain and hardship come from loving a Shareem. But his precious librarian has other ideas…

Elisa, a librarian on the planet Bor Narga and a virgin who has taken a vow of celibacy, is about to embark on an exciting adventure of self discovery. A discovery of unbelievable sexual ecstasy, of personal growth, of the meaning of devotion and of love. She will meet a Shareem who will change her and her life forever. That Shareem is Braden.

The Shareem were created to be the ultimate sex toys for the ruling women of Bor Narga. On this planet, the women are in control of everything and the general belief is that men are unintelligent and unnecessary for all but the most menial of tasks. There are three levels of Shareem: Level One was genetically engineered to be nurturing and gentle lovers. Level Two is about fun, sexual games and playful enjoyment. Level Three are the dominant, sexually overpowering, no nonsense masters in the bedroom. But underneath that is the overriding desire to impart care, protection and foster trust. Their ultimate goal is to teach a woman about her sexuality and those deeper attributes that can be developed through it. Braden is Level Three.

There is a good plot with excellent flow throughout the entire story. I was enchanted by Ms. James’s ability to lend a magical and engaging charm to her characters and scenes. I also loved that the story is packed with exciting, exotic sex between raging hot women and ‘super’ men. The sizzling sexual heat in this story is dynamic and propels the plot forward in a compelling way. I found it hard to put this book down and enjoyed the clever weaving of the many layers in this tale into something I was pleased to find was deeper and more profound than it first seemed. I must also say that I had fun with this read and really appreciate the author’s sense of humor and instinct in knowing how to give the story a lightness of heart.

This is a stand-alone story, but the sixth in the series. I now own every one of them and Allyson James has a new convert in me! If you too enjoy a fairy tale romance with above average and meaningful depth, then you won’t go wrong in reading Braden.

Recently divorced, Anna Fox decides to cheer herself up by retracing a journey that her great-grandmother, Louisa, made in the mid-nineteenth century from Luxor to the Valley of Kings on a Nile cruise. Anna carries with her two of Louisa’s possessions: an ancient Egyptian scent bottle and an illustrated diary of the original cruise that has laid unread for more than a hundred years. Meanwhile, two men from the tour party begin to develop an unfriendly rivalry for her attention and a disturbing interest in Louisa’s mementos. As she follows in Louisa’s footsteps, Anna discovers a wonderful love story from the Victorian past, along with chilling secrets and terrifying specters that haunted her great-grandmother—and will soon begin to pursue her, too.

Anna Fox is recently divorced and free from her controlling husband, but she doesn’t know what to do with herself. Her aunt suggests she retrace a Nile cruise her great-grandmother had taken years before. She says yes, but doesn’t realize just what awaits her in Egypt…

Ms. Erskine writes a very solid novel. Every word she uses is there for a purpose and she weaves pictures of Egypt and its scenery, imbues you with a sense of danger, and makes you wonder if anyone is safe on this journey. Her plot is well thought out with lots of nooks and crannies for secrets to hide in. And she uses the diary from the past for good effect in this cruise in the contemporary time period. The gods are at work in this story also.

When Anna gets on the plane to go to Egypt, she meets her first odd character. He’s not the least bit friendly or even socialable sitting next to her. But he has interest in her great grandmother’s diary…

The author starts Anna out as a shy type after years of her husband controlling her and telling her what was appropriate for her life as his wife. As the cruise continues, she runs into other men of this type, but she starts to come out of her shell and lets them know she won’t be treated that way. By the end of the story, after fighting gods and attempting to keep her artifacts from being stolen, Anna is returning to a woman with full confidence that can make her own decisions. The transition is fun to read about.

All the characters in the “diary” and in the current day are believable and strong. The gods follow the traditional legends and are just as nasty as they were in those stories. It’s full bodied story with lots of twists and turns that holds your attention until the last page.

I especially enjoyed the Egyptian lore and the visit to the country. Why not get yourself a copy of this book and go on a Nile cruise, too?

Adams Grove is mourning the loss of Pearl Clemmons, known for her award-winning chocolate pecan pie and the best unsolicited advice in the county.

When Jill returns to settle her grandmother’s estate, she’s greeted by a Clydesdale-sized guardian dog who doesn’t seem to be earning his stripes (although he drools on them pretty well), and Garrett Malloy, the ex-fiancé she left behind a year ago.

Jill insists on staying at Pearl’s amidst a string of break-ins that have sleepy Adams Grove wide awake and locking its doors. Jill’s past with Garrett becomes the least of her worries when she learns that their lives are in danger. She is the only person standing between a desperate conman and a secret from Pearl’s past.

Will Pearl’s past kill any chance of Jill and Garrett’s future together?

Grandma Pearl was a matchmaker indeed. She was also loved by the town of Adams Grove. When she passed on, she left behind a trail of secrets for her granddaughter Jill to follow. And, with her matchmaking skills in mind, before she died she set out to encourage Jill and Garrett to rekindle their relationship. It would be a win-win situation for all parties involved.

Jill left Adams Grove a year ago, to begin a new life with a great new job. She became very busy, but made it back to Adams Grove for her grandmother’s surprise party, and then for her death just a while later. Pearl was the only relative Jill had left, and so her surprise passing hit her pretty hard. She stops everything she’s doing to come back to Adams Grove and take care of things, and to keep a fresh mind of all the memories of Pearl that are there. And Garrett, he just doesn’t give up.

Garrett loved Pearl too. Obviously, Pearl loved Garrett and wanted him to be a part of the family. She’d always felt Garrett and Jill belonged together. And it seems someone is intruding in Pearl’s house. Weaved into the story is a mystery. Who keeps breaking into the house? What is it they are after? Then comes the secrets Pearl left behind. The mysterious letters written to Pearl from a man Jill has never heard about, and so on.

Adams Grove, Virginia is a quaint little country town filled with a variety of people. It seems that Jill is surprised at those who’d once left, but came back to this town for one reason or another. What is it about a small town that brings people back, no matter where they left to and what they went to do? The ending gives vague hints that there could be more stories set in this little town. I sure hope so, because I’d love another visit. Ms. Naigle writes characters that are engaging and fresh, a plot that is moving, romantic, mysterious, and emotional. It’s perfect reading for the upcoming hot summer days, where sitting in the shade with your own glass of tea seems fitting.

When Peter Blake takes a job working for Walker’s Wash-ups, little does he know that the easiest part of his day will be deciding which of his “uniforms” he hates the most. Needing the money to pay off a loan, Peter decides there are worse things in life than wearing a nude male grilling “Hot Sausage” apron, even if he can’t exactly remember what at the moment. His life shouldn’t be like this. Alas, he didn’t foresee corporate redundancy. He didn’t foresee a time in his life when he’d have to take such a peculiar job, having to grin and “bare” it, where both pairs of “cheeks” burn equally with embarrassment.

Even more surprising, he didn’t expect the sanest person in his growing list of crazy clients would be another man with a bruised heart, who has a lot to answer for, including his future.

The best thing about a seduction is the emotions behind it and this little gem packs in enough to make any romantic happy.

All Washed Up starts off with a bit of fun with the hero finding himself in the unenviable situation of having to take a less than satisfying job that impinges his dignity and makes him blush. I also am quite intrigued by the thought that such a service might possibly exist. My first thought was “where can I find me some of that?” but after reading a bit from the hero’s perspective, I realize that it’s not all that funny. In fact, a few of the situations he found himself in were sort of degrading and scary. Ms. Bidwell did a good job of reminding readers that there are real people with feelings that matter; who do jobs that may have to be done that we as consumers take for granted or don’t want to look too deeply at. It’s a good lesson, intentional or not.

The basic premise of the story is about two men accidentally finding each other. One has experienced the loss of a loved one and is in the dumps without knowing how to start living again. The other never explored who he really was and settled for meeting other people’s expectations of himself but never feeling happy or content. As industry master says, It is of no utilization cheap soft cialis to make a heavenly brand personality, in the event that it will bolster enough activity in the penis area. It’s a great emotional hook because the author lets a reader in on each of the heroes’ inner demons and despair. When they meet, it’s a balance of tentative hope and skittish experimentation with dialogue, actions and touches.

The scene was interesting when Chris first encounters Peter. I liked how the author had Peter meet some whackos first so when Chris comes in the picture, it’s a breath of fresh air and an infusion of sanity. I enjoyed the sweetness of it and the initial gentle approach. It was a true seduction of the senses and I had a great time watching it all unfold. What breaks the ice is Peter’s work wardrobe. I wish I could see such things in real life because I am sure it would be a memorable event. As it is, it is the means which the author uses to bring the men together and move the relationship forward; it’s is unique and worth reading.

The only drawback is the accelerated condensing of it all. Because the author gave me characters I could like, I wanted to spend more time with them.

Although this is a short story, All Washed Up is well balanced in its light personal drama, sensual build up and erotic delivery. It should appeal to romance readers who enjoy man on man action because it has the power to touch the romantic inside while delivering entertainment, humor and keeps a person interested from beginning to end. I’m quite glad I read this book.

Daedalus has been a powerful vampire for ages. Intrigued by the chance to train the geeks of the underworld, he wasn’t bargaining on losing his heart to a human. Can he make the Omegas a success, fit into Sugar’s quiet life, and avoid being ripped to shreds in the process?

There is nothing sweeter than Sugar.

It is not hard to like Sugar from the beginning of the book, but when sparks start to fly after meeting Daedalus, and seeing her determination to make sure this vampire teaches her friends everything he can so they can survive the challenge made me shake my head and wonder if she was a little crazy. She won my heart and made me smile at her protectiveness for the misfits. Watching a shy human female stand up to a big bad vampire on behalf of the group of werewolf geeks left me laughing.

I discovered, too, that a man with a baldhead could be sexy. Daedalus is like most alpha men but when he comes face to face with Sugar he falls, hard and fast for the little human. He tries to keep business and pleasure separate but there is something about this girl who wants to mother a pack of misfit wolfs that draws him to her. Daedalus made me dream of a big tough hero like him to sweep me off my feet.

Even though there is some bloody and violent detail showing the predator nature of the wolf, the plot was entertaining and well-written. Ms. Nicholas did an amazing job of taking the old myths of werewolves and vampires and turning it into a new and refreshing love story. This book is a welcome addition to my library and I would encourage anyone to add this one to their to be read list.

Where one journey ends, another begins…

Every year when Chelsea visited her husband’s grave on the anniversary of his death, she sees a man standing in the distance like he was grieving, too. Who was he and how did he know her husband?

Ms. Hiers takes a basic plot and breathes life into it by providing links to the present from the past and throwing in conflict, sexual tension and danger in good quantities. The story is believable, the two main characters are honest and honorable, and a boy’s life is at stake as well as Chelsea’s. The conversations flow well, her characters act like real people do, and the action is intense throughout the entire story.

This is a Christian themed story and there are Biblical references thrown in at moments of crisis or when the characters are trying to make big decisions. There were situations in this story where I think praying absolutely made sense, and wasn’t intrusive.

Fresh from the post-Civil War salons and drawing rooms of Boston, Lucy McKenna considers herself a sophisticated young woman. But when she meets Texas rancher Ambrose Quince, she turns into a flustered girl. He’s too old, war roughened and unrefined—and she has no idea how to deal with the sensual hunger he inspires.

Ambrose falls fast and hard for the innocent debutante visiting Eclipse, Texas. Persuading Lucy to accept his pursuit becomes a duel of wits and passion as he awakens her desire.

Lucy leaves Boston and childhood behind when she becomes Mrs. Ambrose Quince. Her lonely days on the Double-Q ranch are filled with work and frustration. But the nights are spent in her husband’s arms, learning carnal awareness…one molten caress at a time.

Lucille “Lucy” McKenna only wanted to stay in Boston to keep living the life to which she had become accustomed, and of course attend the society functions that all proper young ladies of a certain age attend as part of their season. She would flirt and dance her way through until she found a suitable match for a husband, but a trip out of town soured those ideas. Lucy’s father decides to take on a new life direction that will involve bringing his only child with him. It was never supposed to be a permanent situation or at least that’s what Lucy thought.

Ambrose Quince wasn’t exactly looking for a wife, but there she was having just arrived in town. Love at first sight wasn’t expected either, but there it was all the same. When Lucy refuses his advances, it only fuels his need to have her. She is a challenge in so many ways, but he sees right through the exterior to the woman and ranch wife beneath. It is one of the best herbal pills to treat low sperm count levitra on line from reputed online stores using a credit or debit card. Now Ambrose just needs to convince her that there is something more to him aside from his gruff exterior.

The story reads like a young woman’s journal as she experiences working and living a Texas life back in the 1800’s. Lucy has quite an awakening as she travels from the sophistication of Boston society to the rugged and simplistic living of Texas. It is a somewhat painful transition that Lucy endures and reading it from her perspective creates an automatic connection with the reader. Along her journey, she learns what it is like to truly be free from societal bonds and live a more meaningful life. Lucy is a very naive character and most times others take her ignorance and treat her like a child, which only serves to make her more determined. They believe her to be petulant and spoiled and at times she is, but not to an extreme and they most certainly didn’t expect her gumption.

The interactions of men and women and the place a woman has in the home during this time period is very well portrayed in this story. The dialogue and character dynamics were also quite engaging. The pacing, however, was a bit choppy as it seemed to focus on certain scenes and then fast forward without warning through others. The intimacy between Lucy and Ambrose was very erotic yet sensually done in a way that transmits the emotions clearly. I very much enjoyed the well-roundedness of the story and the transformation of Lucy from girl to woman.

Being a fan of Ms. Sivad’s work, I would absolutely recommend this story to fans of historical western romance. And if you haven’t tried this author before, this story is an excellent place to start.

Ms. Goings has an incredible knack for transporting a reader to whatever time or place she creates and without much thinking on the readers’ part. Suddenly you’re just there and it’s all live and happening with a fluidity that is a testament to Ms. Goings’ writing abilities. The pacing is perfect being neither too fast nor slow. Luke’s “filly” metaphors in reference to Shirley are absolutely hilarious and yet describe her and their relationship development perfectly. While they fulfill their lust for each other, the eroticism increases with every intimate moment and helps to create a heightened emotional suspense.

After reading this story, the reader will definitely walk away with a greater appreciation for the current times we live in. The propriety and social customs as well as the double standard on women is true to form in this story. In chiropractic, it is believed that the body is well-balanced. order discount viagra Some are funny, like the odd Lord Snellingly and his obsession with his dog. Some are truly unlikeable characters who fortunately didn’t have too much space on the pages, like Gabrielle’s completely selfish, self-absorbed sister Rosa. What a wretched person.

The main character though, the Viscount, is so thoroughly likeable that he’s perfect for the warm-hearted Gabrielle. They are great together, despite the things that she does.

Marriage, infidelity, and sisterly relationships come into play, their themes adding meaning and perspective. Wonderful sensual moments are weaved throughout the story and are just perfect.

As likeable as Gabrielle is, at times, she is a bit hypocritical, like when she uses her antics (which are admittedly humorous) to dissuade the Viscount from wanting her and yet she always seems to be looking her best. She thinks he doesn’t want to marry her and is being forced to. However, he is constantly warm toward her and wants to kiss her. Are those the actions of a man who feels trapped?

Despite this, the book is delightful. The ending is charming and unforgettable. Amelia Grey can write a great tale. Regency fans should check this one out.
