I enjoy writing series because it allows me to dig deeper into the characters and the world in which they live in. In Fighting Chance, I explored the Kresnik world and a little bit of the vampire world. I hope to explore Johan’s world further in book three.

Fighting Chance, copyright Viki Lyn 2011, excerpt:

Chapter One

Corbin Hamilton stared at the vampire sprawled lazily across his black leather couch. A chill rushed through him from the subzero temperature in his apartment. He averted his gaze from the naked chest and grumbled under his breath at the vampire-strix, who was impervious to the cold.
“It’s fucking freezing in here.”
The wraparound windows of his living area brought in the view of San Francisco Bay enshrouded in damp gray fog. While he loved his top-floor apartment and the leather and chrome furniture with its clean, modern lines, right now it added to the gloomy atmosphere created by the mist.
Keeping on his wool coat, he raised the temperature on the thermostat. He turned and glared at Johan, daring him to… Oh hell, he didn’t know what. Babysitting a vampire wasn’t Corbin’s idea of a good time; he’d rather kill them. A Kresnik’s duty was to eradicate the bloodsuckers, not preserve their pathetic lives.
Johan lifted his head from the pillow, his chestnut curls flattened on one side. As he sat up, he swept the loose strands off his shoulders, showing off flat, smooth abs.
Picking up the vampire’s shirt, which was carelessly tossed over the back of a chair, Corbin scowled. “Put your shirt on. I have a visitor.”
A spiky-haired redhead peeked his way around the doorjamb of the front door. “Is it safe?”
Corbin rolled his eyes and motioned for him to come in. “Shit, Simon, get in here.”
“Oh my…” Johan’s amber eyes hungrily focused on the redhead. “Such a pretty lad. Come in, come in. I am quite harmless.” With his long, slender finger, he beckoned the young man inside. “Corbin, you are forgetting your manners. Are you going to introduce us?”
Johan, still shirtless, rubbed his stomach, letting his fingers splay across his belly. The vampire’s hypnotic gaze focused on Simon’s neck as he licked his upper lip. Simon gasped and stepped back as Corbin steadied him by the elbow.
An inner light shone in Johan’s eyes. “So the young lad knows what I am?”
Simon cleared his throat. “Yeah, you’re a vampire.”
“Well, well, you certainly do not mince words.”
A blush turned Simon’s face bright red. Corbin pressed his hand on one bony shoulder blade and pushed the messenger toward his office. Once at the door, he shoved the teen inside.
“Give me a minute. And close the fucking door.”
Corbin strode over to the chair and thrust the white shirt into Johan’s solid chest. “Put this on.”
“Does my nudity bother you?” Johan traced a circle around his belly button.
Corbin leaned in close, letting Johan get a whiff of his scent, and wryly smiled. “Get over yourself. You’re not my type.”
“Of course, my Ice Prince. You prefer your lads young and vacuous.” He sat up and brushed his curls back, his fangs protruding, shiny, white. “Heaven forbid they might actually challenge your intelligence.”
Was that a hint of jealousy in Johan’s voice, or something else? Anyway, what did Corbin care? He flicked his finger on Johan’s chest and ignored the low-timbre accent, honeyed and thick with possibilities. “Your fangs are showing.”
“And they fascinate you. You imagine what it feels like to have them buried into your soft neck.”
Nerves fluttered in Corbin’s stomach. “You’re delusional.” But Johan words were too close to the truth. On some level, he couldn’t deny the sexual attraction he felt for the strix. He had a curious desire to know how the vampire’s heat would feel coursing through his veins.
“Am I?” Johan stood and moved into Corbin’s space.
Tension ignited a live wire within Corbin as Johan’s gaze burned into his crotch. He stepped back from the infuriating creature. Johan had to see the painful bulge in his jeans. It was too obvious for either one to deny it. This unwanted desire caused him nothing but confusion. How could he feel anything but hate for Johan?
Because he did hate him. Shit, Corbin had wanted to kill him, not rehabilitate him.
He quickly raised the barriers around his stormy feelings. “I have a stake with your name on it. Don’t think I won’t use it.”
The vampire’s mouth puckered. “I’m hungry.”
Yeah, hungry for more than blood.
Turning away, Corbin waved toward the kitchen. “It’s in the fridge. Feed yourself. You’re not helpless.”
“It’s terribly vile tasting when cold.”
Grudgingly caving in to Johan’s complaint, Corbin headed for the kitchen. He removed his coat and flung it over a chair. Then he yanked open the fridge door and took out the bottle of blood. After placing a pan on the stove, he poured in the liquid and heated it to room temperature.
His task finished, he set the full glass of tepid blood on the counter and strode back into the living room.
“Go on. I heated up the damn stuff. I’m not going to serve you too.”
Johan tilted his head. A slow smile spread across his face. He glided past Corbin, touching his arm before disappearing into the kitchen.
Once in the office, Corbin snapped the lock in place behind him. He faced the door and took a minute to compose himself, then turned around. Simon looked up from a magazine, holding an iPod in one hand, earphones stuffed in his ears. He popped them out and closed the magazine, then tossed it to the floor.
“It’s about time. I don’t have all night.”
Corbin sat on the edge of the desk and crossed his arms. “Don’t start with me. I’m in a shitty mood. So who sent you?”
“The Vaidi.”
The mention of the head of the Kresnik Council sent a wave of uneasiness through Corbin.
Simon reached into his jacket pocket and pulled out a crumpled envelope gilded around the edges. “Why couldn’t she put a fucking stamp on it and mail it? Or better yet, it’s the twenty-first century; just e-mail the damn thing.”
Cheeky kid.
Corbin took the envelope with trepidation. To be summoned by the Vaidi usually meant he had fucked up. Lately he’d been so preoccupied with keeping an eye on Johan, he’d had no time for vampire hunting.
Imprinted on the center of the flap was the crest of the House of Hawthorn—a blossoming sprig embossed in gold. He picked up the silver letter opener and slit open the envelope. The notepaper weighed heavily in his hand.
As he read the message, his hands trembled.
No, not a fuckup. Far from it.
After years of hard training and duty, he’d finally reached the pinnacle of his rank. The honor of being chosen for the Siela from the list of qualified slayers filled him with pride. If he passed the trials, he would ascend to the highest rank of a Kresnik warrior, just like his father had. He’d have the special powers needed to go after Hor and seek out his revenge for his father’s death.
He steadied his hands before speaking and hid his excitement behind a brash smile. “Thanks for the delivery.”
Simon’s eyes gleamed. “Are you bringing your pet with you?”
Corbin’s smile faded. “You read it?”
“Steam works wonders, you know.” The teen laughed. “I don’t think it’ll go over so big if he tags along.”
“I should report your ass.”
A chill dampened Corbin’s enthusiasm. He couldn’t leave Johan alone in his apartment, no matter how much the serum might have changed the vampire. And he wasn’t so sure all the changes were good ones. Johan still had to be watched carefully.
He scratched his chin. “It’s not your problem.”
“There’re rumors going around about you and your bloodsucker. He’s not bad-looking, if you like that sort of thing.”
“What the fuck is it to you?”
“Heard he’s an experiment. You’re injecting him with some kind of crap. Do you really think you can cure a vamp? I mean, man, we’re supposed to kill the damn things.”
Corbin couldn’t argue with Simon’s reasoning, because he felt the same. “It’s too complicated for your puny brain.”
Simon twisted his mouth into a doubtful scowl. He jammed his thumbs into his jean pockets and slumped farther in his seat. “Why would the Vaidi okay something like this?”
Corbin had his suspicions, but he wasn’t about to discuss Kresnik politics with a trainee. And he didn’t like the way Simon looked at him with that distrustful twist of his mouth.
“What’s really eating you?” he asked.
“Ah, well, it’s just… They say you must be getting soft, letting a vampire live with you.”
Corbin stalked over to the chair and pulled up Simon by his shirt. “You tell them if they’re so concerned about my ability to kill, to come and talk to me personally.” He tossed Simon back down into the chair. “Now get out of my sight.”
Simon bit his lower lip. “Uh, where’s the bloodsucker now?”
Corbin waved away his concern. “Drinking a tall glass of blood by now.” He peered at the freckle-faced teen and mocked, “Are you scared? Want me to walk you to the door?”
Simon straightened his scrawny shoulders. “You’re an ass, you know that? I’ll let myself out.”
The messenger fumbled with the lock but got the door open and flew out of the room. Corbin sank into the chair once occupied by Simon. Why wouldn’t his peers wonder about him, housing a vampire, for Christ’s sake? He wasn’t sure who knew about the serum besides the Vaidi.
Corbin picked up the magazine off the floor and rolled it tight.
When his brother, Stu, had met Aric, Corbin had no idea how it would affect his own life. Aric had been infected by Johan and was slowly turning into a strix. Being a biologist, he’d scrambled to find a cure. Miraculously, he had. The serum had stopped the process of transforming Aric into a full-fledged vampire and also reversed most of the side effects. Convinced the serum could save the damn bloodsuckers, Aric convinced Stu not to kill Johan, but to rehabilitate him.
Somehow Corbin got stuck with guard duty. Standing, he tossed the magazine into the wastebasket. Bad luck for him.
Yet if the serum worked, eradicating vampires by turning them into humans would be a powerful weapon in the Kresniks’ arsenal. The Vaidi had to understand the serious implications of having such a weapon in their possession. He wasn’t ready to face the moral dilemma of turning vampires. Wouldn’t that make them just like their enemy?

The house loomed ahead when Sheryl picked up her phone and dialed Jake’s phone number. “Jake, I think Dot’s been tricked, and she’s at Bridgeside.”
“You wait for me,” Jake said.
“I’m almost at the house.”
“Do not go inside. Wait. I’m on my way.”
“I’ll do my best.”
“Sheryl, wait for me!”
“If Dot needs me, I have to go in. So you better hurry.” Sheryl slipped the phone in her pocket and parked by the house.
Her heart skipped a beat when she noticed the front door was ajar. She got out of her car and slipped on her jacket. She knew it was a trap, waiting for her to spring it, and she had no intention of falling for the ploy. Except she heard Dot screaming. Sheryl raced up the porch steps and shoved open the front door. “Dot! Dot!” She listened, yet heard nothing.
She remained in the doorway, feet itching to move, hoping Jake would hurry.
 Bloodcurdling screams reverberated from upstairs.
Sheryl rushed inside and up the steps. “Dot! Where are you? Dot!” Silence. Not sure what to do or where to look, Sheryl waited on the steps of the second floor. “Dot!” Sheryl heard whimpering and with a sinking heart knew it was coming from the attic. Without hesitation, Sheryl made her way to the attic door.
The whimpers were fading. “Dot! Dot!” Sheryl pounded on the door. “I’m here, Dot. Hold on, please hold on.” She twisted the doorknob from side to side, but it was locked. In frustration, she kicked the door.
She’d just slid her hand in her jacket pocket when she heard a distinct click. She turned the knob and felt giddy with relief. It was unlocked. “Dot! I’m here.” Sheryl paused knowing that once she stepped inside the room, they would be trapped. A strange noise caught her attention. “Dot?” No reply, nothing except a strange squeaky sound.
Sheryl hurried into the room and almost fainted. She stared in horror as Dot’s body swung back and forth suspended from by a rope from the rafters. “No! You bastard!” On shaky legs, she hurried to aide Dot. She decided that if Dot wasn’t dead, the least she could do was support her bodyweight until help arrived. She stood on a crate, wrapped her arms around Dot’s body, and lifted. “Hold on, Dot. Hold on. Try to breathe.” Tears burned her eyes and she closed them, wishing that Jake would arrive. Something dropped onto her foot, and Sheryl looked down to see an arm. She screamed. The crate rocked. She stumbled backward, falling to the floor.

[This excerpt is rated R for just the beginning of unabashed sexual stimulation.]

“Stand over here, in the candlelight.”

Faith went to the spot where Danny pointed, and she stood in her Pulitzer gown for his inspection. He gained his feet, produced a thornless red vine rose from the side table, and he twisted it around the dress strap, then he returned to the bed and took in the sight of her. A rose was a gift of love, not a gift of acquaintance or friendship. The flowery fragrance enhanced her longing for him. The candlelight silvered his gray sight in a tactile way, but she always did feel his eyes when they were fixed on her.

“Do you like the gown?” she couldn’t help asking. His concentrated attention through overlong salt-and-pepper bangs caused her nipples to rise and brush against the soft cloth, quickening her for his capture.

“Very much. You look stunning in the dress, Faith,” his baritone voice murmured. His lips pressed together, revealing the tension it gave him. “The threads of the lace shimmer in the flame glow.”

Oh… Soft, flickering light seemed to cling to him instead of illuminating much else in the room. His breathing livened. His study of her lasted so long, she began to shy from his devoted gaze. “Have you had enough yet?”

“No. You aren’t enforcing a time limit, are you?”

She broke into an embarrassed smile, and his sly gaze said he enjoyed his torture of her.

“I’m divided. I want you to eat, but I want to take that dress off you.”

“Some people think they have problems.”

Rising from the bed again, he collected the covered plate and eating utensil, and set them in her hands held out before her. Then he removed the cover to present a dish in the meatball family. His smile bordering on the diabolical, he loaded the utensil and put it to her mouth. Her sharp eye on him, she accepted a flavor she’d never encountered before, savory, mysterious, delectable. So was Danny.

Stalking, he roved around until he was behind her, and he leaned, pressing his nose to her exposed neck, inhaling her freshly bathed scent as she chewed. The act carried such an animal-feel to it. The alpha-male predator had brought his chosen a meal…and he savored his upcoming reward for that.

Having already been beneath him, arrested and detained by him, she chewed quicker. Was she sweating yet? She soon would be. Oh, gawd, she already throbbed, her body programmed now and eager for his possession. Did he know he owned her? She bet he knew.

His hair danced over her bare shoulder. “You smell like delicious dinner.”

Every word he uttered with that deep voice was verbal chocolate, making her ache all the more for him. “You always have an invitation to feast upon me, Danny.”

She felt his lips thin into another secret smile against the sensitive flesh as he pressed sizzling kisses up her neck to her ear. “Every night I’ll figure out a way to put you in my bed.”

Should she tell him how easy that will be?

Weakened, she scooped up a forkful of dinner and fed him over her shoulder. He groaned his approval, and he sent his big hands to span and stroke her figure in the silky gown, a sensuous experience that blotted out everything for the moment but his contact and body heat. She would memorize a list of the things that made him groan. Hearing it launched cascades of thrill through her. His exploration slipped downward from behind her and onto her belly, pressing her against his long, hard physique and sliding downward to the heat between her thighs. She almost dropped the plate.

Mm…Danny and good food together. That was total pleasure.

Again, he commandeered the fork and sent a bite to her mouth. As she chewed, he placed a sucking kiss below her ear. Then she forgot to chew, taken by the fantastic shower of ecstasy he inflicted, and she had to remind herself again to chew. His breath on her body enticed her to a new level of want.

Another bite administered, he drew the zipper of the dress all the way down her back, and he slipped his hands into the dress, around her, and cupped her breasts.

“Oh…” The rough surfaces of his palms and fingers abrading her tender flesh played with her nipples, stoking the fire.

“Take another bite.” His whispers rushed lightning through her.

Hands slid from her dress, and she turned to watch him pull his T-shirt from his torso, all iron-worked muscle, pale flesh, a thin scatter of body hair she wished to feel scrubbed against her. Again. His lion’s mane skimmed broad shoulders. His silvery sight never left her. Before, they’d made love in shadows, and she hadn’t seen him wholly nude. Just shirtless, he was beautiful, blessed with a holy kind of glamour that activated her soul.

Oh…

He fed her another bite of dinner, then he released the clip holding back her freshly dried hair, and his long, tapered fingers caught her tumbling tresses. Stirred to a corrupt snicker, he took in the scent of her hair as though it told him everything about her, as if it fed every hungry part of him.

“How can your T-shirt say you’re faster than light when you’re so torturously slow with me?”

“I know, the longer I take with you, the more you’ll moan in my ear. And I like that a lot. It’s a triumph to feel you under my power, Faith.”

That just made her moan.

He took the empty plate from her hands and set it aside on the table, then he put her in his arms. He’d said he wouldn’t let her go to Max’s without making love to her. The intent in Danny’s eye revealed his plot to ruin her freshly bathed scent.

“Are you enjoying the moment of marking me for the demons to detect?”

“Enormously. I’ll kick them in their heads if they touch you.” His demon-slaying grin gave away his entertainment. She knew he meant for Max to get that message, as well.

“This is like unwrapping the most fun present.”

She loved being explored by him, adored it, and she noticed each lithe movement of his heavenly warrior-body, marveled at how well he’d been put together for hunting criminals and hellish merchants of misery. She’d never discourage him from doing that duty. Those monsters better run and hide.

Danny wasn’t a monster. Was he?

She reached for his jeans and unbuttoned them, feeling him hard beneath the metal teeth of the zipper. He pushed the jeans to the floor for the unwelcome interference they were. Her mouth went dry at the unveiled sight of him, worthy of an artist’s sketch, all muscle, brains, instinct, skill, action.

Danny was better than perfect. He was physically superior.

But what was he on the inside? The progeny of an angel, the breed of a demon. She recalled her brief study of the heavenly races. If Danny turned out to be more angel, what would that mean? Angels did many benevolent things, but they also struck down populations with disease, disaster, and genocide. A single angel wielded the power to destroy cities, cause famine, flood a planet.

Angels were heaven’s hit men.

Danny snatched her up by the waist, capturing her, pressing her against him, and snickering over his plans for her.

Oh… She could barely wait.

What’s Halloween Without a Few Witches?

Beltane is an erotic paranormal romance by Erin O’Riordan. Its main characters, twin sisters Zen and Allie, are a pair of witches in the contemporary Midwest. After all, what’s Halloween without a few witches?

The Excerpt: Orlando dreamed of the shaded wood, of a forest so lush and thick with springtime foliage that the sunlight came in indistinct and hazy. In this dream, he closed his eyes, his feet firmly planted on a grassy hillock strewn with wildflowers. He breathed in their scent, breathing in too the scent of the still, green lake that lapped at the foot of the hillock. A memory of Slovenia, perhaps. Then, strangely, he heard laughter. Little giggles from the shrubs. Women. He opened his eyes in this dream, and saw them all around him, surrounding him. They wore gauzy gowns that covered little. Zen was there. Zen, the beautiful stranger, with her pale-blonde hair, loose and falling down her back, her bright blue eyes full of mischief. She beckoned him down the hillock, toward the water.

Orlando shook his head. He looked around at all the faces of the women. They were beautiful, all of them, the blondes, the redheads and the bronze-skinned women with the curling black hair. But something about them saddened him. There was something about them not quite natural, not quite real. Something about them was not to be trusted. The doctor might now prescribe an antibiotic to attack an undisclosed infection. cialis online One should inform following things – Hypersensitive or allergic to the active component of levitra sildenafil this medicine. They circled around him, dancing, their voices rising to the forest canopy with high, ringing laughter.

At last he found Catherine’s face among them. Catherine, the most beautiful woman of them all. She wasn’t laughing, only smiling the reassuring smile that told him she loved him and that everything was going to be all right. At the lake’s edge, Zen splashed in frustration. Zen stuck out her bottom lip and pouted. But Orlando ignored her, holding out his arms toward Catherine. If he could only reach her, he thought, everything would be all right. If he could only reach her. But she seemed to slip further and further from his grasp, until he lost sight of her among the women. He thought he faintly glimpsed her blonde hair disappearing into the darkness of the woods.

He felt the water lap over his foot, and thought Zen had splashed him. Instead, he looked down and saw his foot—was no longer his foot, butut a goat’s hoof where his funky red-and-brown suede shoe had been before, and it was sinking into the lake. Zen had a hold of his arm now. She was dragging him down the hillock and into the lake. He tried to steady himself, tried to grasp at the grasses and flowers as if they would hold him. But Zen’s strength was much greater than he’d ever imagined. He was in the lake up to the waist now, and she was still pulling. A strange song rang through the woods.

Summoning the Demons: Erin O’Riordan Excerpt/E-Book Giveaway

Welcome, Haunted Halloween Weekenders! Happy Halloween from me, erotica and crime fiction author Erin O’Riordan!

Love pulp fiction? Just try putting down The Smell of Gas. TSOG is full of saints and sinners you’ll love to hate. There’s Brigid, the high school basketball player and secret heroin addict. Fred, a Catholic lesbian teen, loves Brigid, but doesn’t know about her affair with Edward, a married Evangelical preacher. Sex, ethics, religions and mythologies clash as you dig deeper into their connection to the death of a young couple.

The Excerpt:

Dennis, Kurt, Aaron, Leander and Gary spread out on the grass, forming a human pentagram. Eva stepped into the middle. She held her candle up over her head and closed her eyes, sensing some unseen power. The wind toyed with her purple robe. She turned her back toward the gate.

“Demons of the South, we summon you!” she shouted, pointing her candle southward as best she could without letting it go out.

“Hail, Demons of the South,” the men chanted. Out of the corner of his eye, Dennis noticed Kurt scratching his head. He looked as if he couldn’t remember all the words. “Come and walk among us on this, the unholy night of Samhain.”

For once, the group’s ceremony wasn’t lifted whole from Eva’s battered paperback Satanic Bible. They’d written this stuff themselves over the past couple of nights. Eva figured the best way to get the Christians’ attention was to start summoning demons. From the murmurs among the supposedly silent protesters, it seemed that she was right.

Eva turned toward the west. “Demons of the West, we summon you!” she screamed, stamping her heel into the earth for emphasis.

Dennis chanted his line about the demons of the west. He heard voices calling his name. A wave of panic ran through him. All of this Satanic stuff was supposed to be for show. Had Eva actually managed to summon some demons this time?

GHOST STORIES

A warm thank you to LASR for hosting this spooky Halloween party. I love ghost stories. Here’s a favorite.

Who was Bloody Mary?

According to legend, some say Mary Worth was a woman who was horribly disfigured in a car crash. Others believe she was a witch that was burned at the stake and has risen from the grave to seek revenge. Still others say she is the devil incarnate coming to claim your soul.

Over the years, Bloody Mary’s spirit remains a mystery. The legend claims that the evil woman can be summoned by standing in front of a mirror in a dark room lit by one candle and chanting her name thirteen times. When her spirit appears in the mirror, beware! She may claw your eyes out, draw you into the mirror never to be seen again or kill you.

Loosely based on the legend of Bloody Mary, the 1992 horror film Candyman was released. By reciting his name in the mirror five times, his spirit would appear and kill you with his hooked hand.

I remember playing with myths and legends as a child. A few weeks before Halloween, my brother, sister and I were at a friend’s house playing games in her basement. We decided to conduct a séance. Quite honestly, I don’t recall who we tried to bring back. But I’ll never forget what happened. The four of us were sitting around a candle-lit card table in the dark holding hands beneath a window. After chanting the deceased’s name several times, there was a loud knocking on the window. The ice therapy is very famous cialis vs levitra for reducing the swelling. Earth, Wind, Fire…Not the Musical Group!

I had no intention when I started out to write a series of books about the elements. Heck, I wasn’t even sure I *could*. Writing a series, especially paranormal, is hard work. You have to build the world and make sure it’s believable. Just because you can see the world in your head, doesn’t mean anyone else can.

So what’s with the title? I wrote a short about a fire elemental. It was a one-off story that I thought, well, okay I can run with the brother, but that’s it. I was so wrong.

Fire Woman is, you guessed it, about a fire elemental. Atria hates and loves her fire. She can do things no one else can, but then there’s the itsy bitsy issue of sex. Imagine the person you’re with immolating when you insert tab A into slot A. Doesn’t sound like much fun, does it? Not to me. I loved writing about how she found her soul mate or in this world, her counterpart.

So what was it about the brother? Luc is his own creature. He’s human, don’t get me wrong. He’s plain, boring, and gay…oh and he fronts a punk band. I loved his stories, Wrapped Around and The Air I Breathe. Wrapped Around is his Christmas story and The Air I Breathe is the afterwards. Both stories are yet to release. Mustard oil has a pungent smell which causes the mucus to become loose and allows it to drain out. cheap tadalafil 20mg Dosage The medicine is given in a standard dosage https://www.unica-web.com/ENGLISH/2014/GA2014-patronage-report.html cialis no rx of 100 mg sildenafil citrate. Static Web design is usually based on the basic HTML code, and the canadian cialis no prescription dynamic website design is built in database with information that is built with better and sophisticated technologies. But the major worry can be proved to serve you discover to find out more generic levitra lifetime to fight against impotency. WA comes out in December and TAIB is set for January. But the fun of this story wasn’t Luc being the elemental, but his boyfriend is. Taygan is an air elemental and he’s very much a free spirit. Putting the two together was hard, but it was fun.

So what about the rest of the band? I’m plotting/writing them out. My hero in the next story has an Earth elemental for a date. Drives him crazy that she’s a flower power, tree-hugging, bicycle rider. Did I mention he drives a street legal monster truck? Yeah, there’s going to be sparks.

I love the challenge of giving each elemental and each band member a story. The how and why are the best. Maybe that’s why I love paranormal. I can let them do whatever they want to do.

I think that’s the fun of Halloween, too. You can be whoever you want to be and can make it a blast if you want.

Have fun and get dressed up, even if you don’t believe in Halloween. A good role play or fetish night with costumes might be just what the doctor ordered!

About Megan: When she’s not writing the stories in her head, Megan Slayer can be found luxuriating in her hot tub with her two vampire Cabana boys, Luke and Jeremy. She has the tendency to run a tad too far with her muse, so she has to hide in the head of her alter ego, but the boys don’t seem to mind.
When she’s not obsessing over her whip collection, she can be found picking up her kidlet from school.

She enjoys writing in all genres, but writing about men in love suits her fancy best.

Currently hanging out every Wednesday and Friday at the Menagerie Authors site, hunting Hotties for the Saturday posts, and working on the next great story brewing in her head!
