Love travels faster than light

Physicist Dr. Christine Monroe has devoted her lonely life to research on hyper-space travel. Her continued failure leads her to sign on to the Archimedes, a sub-light-speed mission aimed at establishing a colony in the Sirius B system.

Waking from suspended animation, she discovers that the ship is wildly off course and the rest of the crew are dead due to equipment failure. At first she thinks the two handsome strangers who show up on the ship are figments of her imagination – erotic hallucinations created by isolation and stress.

However, Alyn and Zed are solid, real, and ready to sacrifice their lives for the strong woman they’ve found stranded in deep space. As her ship begins to disintegrate, Christine must choose between the planet she was sent to save and the two alien beings she’s come to cherish.

What a wonderfully refreshing and original sci-fi erotic romance. My only complaint would be that I finished it — I wanted to keep on reading! A nightmare of epic proportions awaits Dr. Christine Monroe, when she is forced awake from suspended animation, to alarms and chaos. Something has drastically gone wrong and then she makes the heart-stopping discovery that she is the lone survivor aboard the spaceship, Archimedes, lost in space and that it is slowly but surely, disintegrating around her.

Convinced she’s ‘losing the plot,’ fighting panic, stress, isolation and depression, Christine is barely surprised when two gorgeous alien males show up to make love to her. As per this law, you need to cialis samples follow a 30 hours online course, on the completion of which you can get freedom from different kinds of toxic elements that might hamper you sex life. But Alyn and Zed are more than they appear and Christine soon comes to realize that with time running out and certain death if she remains on board, going with them may be her only option.

Bodies of Light, is original erotic sci-fi at it’s best. Superbly crafted and thrilling, short but satisfying, with all the T’s crossed and the I’s dotted. Her characters are wonderful. I found myself easily transported into the future, aboard the doomed Archimedes and as anxious as the good Doctor to find a way out. But it’s her alien lovers, Alyn and Zed who hold the key now and if she’s brave enough, a new beginning is possible.

New to Lisabet Sarai’s work, I was pleasantly surprised and am full of nothing but praise, for Bodies of Light. Being a dedicated lover of sci-fi, my own one unshakeable, steadfast conviction of the genre is simply that it must be believable, and this one is. All kudos to you, Ms Sarai. Just great!

Do yourself a favor and be sure to pick this one up if sci-fi, and especially erotic sci-fi, is something you enjoy.

Chivalry is far from undead…

Matthew Halkett, Earl of Blodswell, is one of the few men in the ton who can claim to be a knight in shining armor- because that’s precisely what he was before being turned into a vampyre. When he spies a damsel in distress in the midst of a storm in Hyde Park, his natural instinct is to rush to her aid…

But not every woman needs to be rescued…

Weather-controlling witch Rhiannon Sinclair isn’t caught in a storm-she’s the cause of it. She’s mortified to have been caught making trouble by the imposing earl, but she doesn’t need any man-never has, and is sure she never will…

But when Rhiannon encounters Matthew again, her powers go awry and his supernatural abilities run amok. Between the two of them, the ton is thrown into an uproar. There’s never been a more tempestuous scandal…

A man born in chivalrous times past is no match for a feisty and seductive Scottish weather witch, and watching the lightening flash and his fangs pop is only the beginning of the fun in store for readers in Ms. Dare’s latest romance.

First, this is a great stand alone book. For fans of the series, they’ll get to see one of the Westfield brothers again and one of Rhiannon’s sister witches. If this is the first time for a reader, those same people will come across as interesting and fun secondary characters. Either kind of reader will find entertainment and humor throughout and should find that Ms. Dare has once again provided a great storytelling experience.

Rhiannon has her story this time around and she is written as a woman who is loyal, fiercely protective, loving and giving but with bit of a temper to rival Zeus or Thor when crossed. Perhaps it has something to do with her propensity to hurl some well placed lightning bolts or two but the results are giggle-worthy and it was fun.

In the past, I believe I got a sense that her dad was a bit absent minded and at first, it didn’t seem that big a deal. The author lets a reader in on a big secret that presents a very real and touching emotional hook. It made me want to give Rhiannon a hug. Having a parent who seems disinterested in a child has deep ramifications no matter how adept the offspring become at hiding its affects. I was pretty impressed with how the author wove those sentiments throughout the story, and how it touched and influenced the other characters.

One person in particular gets the brunt of the heroine’s ire and saucy teasing and that’s Matthew, the hero. I was tickled when I found out that this man who’d given up on hope and accepted his life’s course should actually find love. I tremendously enjoyed watching him fall apart. This pharmaceutical ought not to be taken by individuals taking viagra sale canada other medication containing nitrates. Parent taught drivers buy viagra usa are more likely to have an incident in their first year of driving than professionally taught students. Without sexual stimulation the brain does not send any signal which find out over here now cialis prescription australia translates to no erections. Erectile diffusion is a very common source of stress and pressure best online cialis and chill. Ms. Dare was deliciously coy with the details; it started out small, like a pebble going downhill turning into a landslide. It picked up speed and bowled the poor guy over with the truth. For all his knowledge and experience over his vast existence, the hero simply had no clue about the true power of love. It was pure romance.

As I mentioned before, there are some great secondary characters that spice up this tale and many revolve around the heroine’s best friend Cait’s husband, Dash. He has brothers and they all become protective of Rhiannon to the point of hilariousness. Don’t get me wrong, there are some serious, all out spooky moments where I didn’t know if someone was going to get shredded to ribbons or dead. Ms. Dare balanced the drama and suspense well enough that it never bogged the story down but enhanced the telling of it. There is also one special character that really had the makings for a vicious enemy. The person was certainly capable of evil and nasty attacks and I couldn’t figure out which way to think. Amazingly enough, the author chose the high road in a very unconventional battle that tested the mettle of the heroine. It was Rhiannon who made the difference and who saw clearly what the true nature of the threat was. What an impressive bit of writing!

The only person or part I didn’t care for was Aunt Greer. I guess I’m more vengeful or bloodthirsty because I would have not done what was ultimately done with her. I’ll let readers decide if it was foolish or magnanimous.

In the Heat of the Bite is a delightful romance that paranormal fans can sink their teeth into and find sweet-tart entertainment from beginning to end. The happily ever after was poignant and beautiful. The scenes leading up to it were vastly amusing due to Rhiannon’s fascination with Matthew’s teeth. I found myself laughing and sighing all at the same time. I can’t wait for Alec’s story; it can’t come soon enough.

One thing I do know is it’s a guarantee that Ms. Dare’s next book will be an auto-buy for me. For some reason, I can’t get enough!

Lex Coltrane has a thing for the new sheriff, a woman named Lana.

This story has sexual tension from the beginning and it stops even when Lex and Lana enter into a sexual relationship. The pacing is fast, the dialogue crisp and Lana comes across as not only a tough law woman, but one who knows what she wants in and out of the bedroom. In this particular case it’s Lex and the author did a great job showing us why. He’s sexy, smart and wants Lana no matter what.

The sex scenes are very hot and there’s something for just about everyone’s taste in erotic stories. Sometimes I laughed at Lana and wanted to cheer her on when she hooks Lex. I liked the idea that not only had the author chosen to make the law person female in this story but also enjoyed that Lana was a modern woman in other aspects of her life too.

I thought the story would have a different ending and the one the author chose surprised me. It was satisfying and if you’re looking for a ‘quickie’ read for a hot summer day or night, this one fits the bill.

The arranged and acted out fantasy that the title refers to is riveting, blazing and fun. Something that the heroine has denied herself for far too long in the pursuit of her very successful career. The conflict between Celeste and Ryan is an unintentional situation of seemingly insurmountable facts that drives the story and the couple into a climactic solution which will inevitably be either devastating or wonderfully life-transforming.

Ms. Sinclair has written an absorbing story involving a thoughtful and realistic dilemma that plays out with believable situations, characters and meaning. The hero, Ryan is irresistible and I fell in love with him, immediately. He’s everything that Celeste needs and more than she ever thought she would find in a man. I became emotionally invested in these characters right from the start. I enjoyed Ryan’s gentle seduction and powerful, dominant lovemaking. I was able to mentally and emotionally embrace the characters who were fascinating, multi-dimensional people. I admire any writer who is as adept at this ability as Ms. Sinclair.

The only fault I found was that the story would be better if it were longer. It is ripe with opportunity and it would have been interesting to me to add to the good thing the author has going with even more in depth detail and secondary character development. Ms. Sinclair’s writing is filled with sensitivity, charm and intelligence. I loved the ending, but didn’t want it to end. This is an uplifting romance with a good dose of fun, and I recommend it to everyone who likes a sexy-hot, engaging read.

A chance to make a single lasting impression and hopefully garner a proposal for Sophie, an opportunity to become reacquainted with an old beau and gain a promise for Miranda, and a duty to fulfill by finding a willing and necessary heiress for Rye…all they need is Just One Season in London!

National Bestselling Author Leigh Michaels is well known for historical romances that sweep the reader along for epic adventures. Her characters will have you falling in love right along with them as they search for love in all the right places and manage to find it in the most unexpected places instead. This holds true for Lady Miranda Ryecroft, her son Viscount Ryecroft (Rye) and daughter Miss Sophronia Ryecroft (Sophie).

The Ryecrofts have lost so much since the death of their father and Miranda’s husband. All they have left is land that needs planting, a rambling manor in need of repairs, and their love and devotion to one another. Ms. Michaels has such a poignant way of building the characters up in the minds of the readers, I found myself worrying right along with them, considering all their options and finally rejoicing at how they each find their happily ever after.

Just One Season in London is a Regency historical and Ms. Michaels does a fantastic job of keeping true to the time period. If you’ve read this genre before you know that there are strict rules with the Ton. There are those that have money and title that is inherited and then there is the working class. Oftentimes the two cross when a member of the Ton marries down or one from the working class marries up. Both situations are highly frowned upon because it mixes “bad blood” either way. There is an underlying story about class distinction in Ms. Michael’s story that illustrates this outdated school of thought and the benefits of simply not caring.

Also, I must mention that Ms. Michaels uses a POV technique that I’ve not often seen and is difficult to pull off without confusing the reader. Within the pages of this novel the reader is treated to knowing what is going on with each character simultaneously in any given situation. It doesn’t come off as head hopping so much as a single continuing story where the directions and decisions made by Miranda, Rye and Sophie converge to produce a single fantastic journey.

I laughed, I sighed and I did my very best to steer the charismatic Ryecroft family in the right direction. Lucky for them, Ms. Michaels had their stories all planned out and it was terrific to sit back and watch. If beautiful settings, clever dialogue and heartwarming love stories are what you’re in the mood for then Just One Season in London is a true can’t miss. Jordan Armstead is not a ballet fan, so finding himself at the Opera House with his family, watching his niece in ‘The Nutcracker’, is not his idea of a good time. That is until a god-like specimen wearing little more than a loin cloth and simmering oil appears on stage, effortlessly partnering his female counterpart through the sensuous ‘Arabian’ pas de deux.

That night, when the very same man, after suffering a potentially career ending injury, appears in the emergency room where Jordan is a nurse, Jordan finds himself as attracted to the man as he was to the dancer. The attraction is mutual, and they share a magical twenty four hours. But at the end of it, Jordan finds himself wondering if he’s impulsively given his heart to someone who has more important things to do than think about a one night stand. Against the backdrop of Christmas trees, sugar plums and falling snow, two men with absolutely nothing in common find out that where the heart is concerned, it just doesn’t matter at all.

Can two completely different men take the Grand Jete and risk all to be together? This charming Christmastime tale about a pair of unlikely lovers warms the heart like a cozy holiday fireside.

The male leads in this book both followed non-traditional career roles. One, a nurse and the other, a ballet professional, were written as strong and confident protagonists. The witty banter was lighthearted and I laughed out loud several times from the clever dialogue. I was especially impressed by the way the author created a completely believable world with plot lines that were well paced, and secondary characters that truly enhanced emotional climate of the story. In real life, this romance would seem impossible, as there was not much angst involved. The true beauty of this story is that it captured the magical spirit of the holiday and left me smiling. The happily ever after was continued in the epilogue and served as a satisfying end to the tale.

The love scenes were also written well, as the emotion was well conveyed not only with words spoken between lovers but also with a surprisingly detailed description of the background. Kudos to the author for including in these scenes the practice of safe sex. Both men value the safety of their partner above their sexual needs.

Edits on this book were carefully done, with very few spelling or grammatical errors. Each sentence flowed into the next effortlessly, with the storyline progressing to the finale. It reminded me of a well performed ballet, almost perfectly choreographed and executed.

Fans of M/M romance will love this feel good tale of blossoming love during the winter snow. Grand Jete was a treat to read and I highly recommend it. I’ll end with my favorite quote from this holiday romance, “It’s almost like magic, having you here now. I still don’t quite believe it.”

If Rowan had his way, he’d never work with a woman. Yet as Karin demonstrates her expertise on the job, he cannot deny his growing respect for her–or his desire. He wants the passion she offers, but not the commitment. Until a horrendous accident at the project site threatens Karin’s life, and proves that even a wounded man is destined to love….

Karin knew the project officer on her next assignment was male and didn’t like women, but she figured she can handle the old crotchety fellow anyway. What she didn’t anticipate was that he would be a handsome hunk of a young man and that he would still feel that way.

This author has created a fun premise for her story. She takes an attractive young woman who does a traditionally male job and puts her on-site for said job in an isolated area. Not only must Karin prove her worth as an engineer, she has to deal with the scorn of her boss and the fact that she must share quarters with him due to limited housing. With all this conflict in a cramped travel trailer and a small office, you can all but feel the smoldering fire burst into flame.

Being independent myself, I found it easy to empathize with her position in life.

Watching these two do battle with each other is the most amusing part of the story. There is explicit sex in the story, but it fits. It’s part of Rowan trying to come to terms with his feelings for Karin. Even the story of their engineering feat is good reading. The smaller characters are all interesting, too. This author has created a “family” of engineers. Having the story set in England is an additional bonus. You even get to walk the fell with Karin and Rowan.

Why not get a copy of this book for you and watch these two fight their way to love? It’s a very good read.

Glori? Nope – she’s not a princess. In any case, the ghosts don’t like Glori because, “she’s a bleeding twinkle-butt faerie!”

Humor isn’t lacking in this fast-paced story, not only overall -– for example, Glori’s spells aren’t working because she’s in Need (rather like a dog on heat) — but also in the details: the ghosts yelled with such force that they stunned a dozen roaches. The conflict to be resolved keeps the reader enthralled to the end: Glori’s biological clock is ticking, and will Lance find his Faerie Princess in time despite being knee-tremblingly attracted to Glori?

Apart from the colony of ancestral ghosts, who are laugh out loud funny, there are few characters populating the story. However, those who are there each have his or her own foibles that endear them to the reader so that I found myself only wanting the best for them.

Once again, Ms. Levigne proves to be the most versatile of authors with a wide variety of fabulous books to her name. It seems her imagination knows no boundaries.

If I have one criticism to make about this one, it lies in being a tad predictable. There aren’t any jaw-dropping revelations, nor any heart-stopping romance. But, then, it doesn’t need those things because it is an easy read, just perfect for a reader in need of a feel-good, quiet, cozy afternoon story.

Based on what little detail I got from the story, I liked Catherine. She was full of determination to go after what she wanted. Trent’s behavior, on the other hand, had me a little confused, but it may be because the story was short and I didn’t have enough time to really form a connection with either of the characters.

While the author does a good job of creating an interesting plot, a longer story would have allowed for better character development, so that I could have felt more emotions for hero and heroine as well as the story line as a whole.
