The author keeps it coming. When I thought all was well and life was good for Beth and Rafe another unpredictable domino would fall.

The writing is enjoyable and I even learned a lot of new words while reading. The book is inundated with vocabulary that caused me to keep a dictionary handy. The plot is engaging and many twist to move the story along. Amanda Hamilton is a egotistical minded woman with sexual desires that cause her to seek consolation in various men. It’s okay for her to find pleasure but she took things to a completely different level to stop her husband from seeing the woman he loved. Awesome job on creating such a villain. Amanda was an unlikeable character and her sole purpose was thinking of herself and what pleased her; how others felt did not matter.

I like the surprise at the end. The conclusion that Beth came to was inspiring to see that she grew from her harsh treatment as a slave and wanted to do something she felt in her heart was a way to help other that have been treat badly.

This is a recommended book that tells a tale of jealously, shame, deceit, remorse and best of all, a man that is determined to be with the woman he loves. How can you pass up a book that includes all this?

There was a twist mid way through that I saw coming, but it made the story really interesting and so I rolled really easily with it.

Hunter and Kyle are both completely in love, and this shines through in Mr Michael’s writing so clearly. There is real emotion and chemistry between them. Sure, they might have been together long enough that things have become routine, but kink and Hunter’s curiosity very quickly sets the flames burning hotly once again. I love how they’re both re-discovering each other, but still very deeply in love.

I found this to be an amazing story, full of sensual scenes and hotly written kink. Both Hunter and Kyle grow and learn as characters and their relationship flourishes accordingly. This is yet another wonderful story by Mr. Michael and he’s now an auto-read for me. Hot and romantic, this is an excellent read and one I’m really pleased to add onto my bookshelf.

This book is a feel good read that brought a smile to my face.

As short as this story is it pulls the reader in right from the start and does not let go until the end and even then you are left wanting more. Bad Elf, No Candy Cane is one hot and fun read and I hope that this is not the only time that we get to visit with Power and Syllabub.

I really loved this book. Trey is an intricately complex character who really grabbed my imagination. Born blind, Trey has closed himself off to much of the world. His parents hurt him emotionally when he came out of the closet – saying that Trey just wanted a man to live with him, to depend on. That comment has scarred him far more than Trey really knows. It’s had him close his heart off, and I feel it’s a big part of his unwillingness to share his whole life with Lucien, how their “only after a book is finished” relationship began. While his actions are logical, I really empathized with the fear Trey felt deep in his soul. Change is hard when you’ve made such a comfortable, routine life. They both start to make small changes, standing Friday night dates, swimming on Saturdays, small steps. And Lucien is the epitome of patience.

Their first big adventure out of the house was one I really enjoyed. Nothing huge or life-altering, just the simple pleasure of going to the local lake, making sandcastles and enjoying the sunshine together. It was a big step forward for both men and was a delight to read. And that was thankfully the first of many outings. I loved seeing this well-defined couple, who had been together for around ten years, deepen and explore their relationship, taking it to a new level. Trey and Lucien are clearly deeply in love, solidly committed only to each other, and yet there’s still so very much for them to do – Trey’s independence issues and Lucien’s wanting to be involved as more than just a part-time person in Trey’s life. Watching these men begin a new phase in their life together was amazing and I found it just wonderful to read the two men learn more about each other and open their hearts even further.

It took me a while to figure out how all of the characters knew one another. There were quite a few of them, and the connections between them weren’t always clear. I would have had a much easier time settling into the plot if I’d either had fewer characters to get to know or if they’d been written into something that was full length instead of a short story.

The chemistry between Morrie and Zoey was sizzling hot. I liked the fact that they’d been friends for a long time before the events in this story began because it gave them such a rich history to draw on in their interactions. This was a smart choice for these characters. As soon as I met them, I started rooting for them to end up together. I was so interesting in seeing what would happen that I read the whole book in one sitting.

Cupid, Mardi Gras, & Auld Lang Syne was a fun read. It’s a good choice for anyone who likes a little drama in their erotica.

The plot at first was a little hazy and uncertain but she came on strong and developed a worthy ending for the situation.

I would very much recommend this to readers who look for romantic fiction that closely resembles reality.

Although I was certain they’d get their get their happy ending, I felt as unsure as he did. The little added twist at the end with the movie made me grin, it was an obvious but still enjoyable way to end their story.

Both Reece and Cade have come a long way during the course of the serial. I loved watching Reece become more sure of himself. Sitting back and observing as they took this insane idea of filming an adult film and turning it into an opportunity to find real love was quite a treat. I would highly recommend this serial to anyone who loves a good old fashioned love story with a not so traditional setting. Besides, most of it takes place in Vegas, baby. Odds are you might just fall in love with it too. I know I certainly did.

I loved Shay but at some point her attitude put me off and confused me. Leo was not the only one with an ego in this. Every now and then I would see Shay attitude come out. Men usually fawned and smothered her so I guess it is inevitable that you develop an ego.

That being said this story went smoothly and I truly enjoyed it.

This is not a low key BDSM book. It’s based around a sex club but it is not a hardcore BDSM book either. There was a lot of voyeurism and exhibitionism in it as well as a restraining scene and white hot passion that could burn.

A Shot of Sin is perfect for the erotic lovers who like their sassy, stubborn women but also likes to see hints of BDSM without it overpowering the story.

Shawn Everly is what I like in a man. He’s stable, he’s gorgeous, and he’s just alpha enough to get things done, but not so alpha that you want to kick him in the shin every time he opens his mouth. Considering he’s a cop, that last bit is a huge surprise. I love that he’s able to take the teasing, harassing, and everything else his partner and coworkers throw at him in stride. It says a lot about his character that he didn’t shoot any of them, especially after the embarrassing incident at the beginning of the story. He’s the exact kind of partner that Trent needs.

Now Trent Marshall, on the other hand, is a bit too alpha for my tastes. However, as you begin to become privy to his backstory, you begin to understand why he acts like he does. His overprotective streak borders on obsessiveness at times and it can be a real turn off. Thankfully, Shawn helps him come to terms with the loss of his former boyfriend, who was also a police officer. Once Shawn begins to cope with that, his domineering attitude loosens up somewhat, making him much more likable.

I will admit that as a local of this odd town, I was looking for inconsistencies or errors and I am happy to report that I didn’t find any. That always impresses me because it’s too easy to choose a city and make it up as you go along, but in this case, I was able to easily picture where Shawn and Trent were at all times. The author obviously did her research and it shows.

All Fired Up is an extremely sexy and sweet story about two first responders who can’t get enough of each other. It’s a very real example of how hard it is to work as either a police officer or fireman and how much harder it is to love someone who is either. It’s a great introduction into a new series and I can’t wait to see what Ms. Knight has in store for us next.

This story has some twists and turns, but my favorite aspect is Brie learning to love her body. Kade insists she see in the mirror what he does and that can be a difficult thing. Weight issues are a core thing that can haunt a person’s self-image for years and the terror that she will go back to what she was before is enough to rock Brie’s world, even threatening the budding romance between Kade and herself. When he takes her to his family’s business- The Vault, she is awakened to a whole new reality. When Kade and Brie are threatened by someone who wants to exert her own brand of control all bets are off.

And I stop there lest I give away too much of the plot. This book is very hot, but I was thrown a little off by the opening scene. It didn’t end up detracting from the rest of the book, but I like to get to know a character before I’m walking through one of her orgasms. The book is an awakening for Brie and a personal growth for Kade who has never considered a woman for a long term relationship-until now.

You can find many secrets buried in The Vault series-and I can’t wait to explore the next one.
