When Calen MacLeod begins having dreams of an ethereal beauty who beckons to him, he passes it off as just having an itch he hasn’t scratched in a long time. But when he leaves on a journey to find her, following the directions she’s given him in his dreams, he begins to doubt his sanity. And when he finds himself high in the Mackinaw Mountains in a secret fortress with unicorns and a pink and white castle, surrounded by women, each one more beautiful than the next, it’s a fantasy no man would want to wake up from. Calen’s life would be perfect, but there’s just one thing standing in his way: a 500-year-old demon intent upon destroying Arianna, Calen’s new-found love, and her entire world.

Can love travel across time? If so, can it travel across race? In My Soul to Keep: Calen, it sure does.

Very few authors can pull off a time travel story without getting the reader confused. Even fewer can keep the reader’s attention. Rie McGaha does both. From page one, you can’t put this story down. You travel with Calen and his brother Caleb to be with Arianna.

Although the story starts a bit slow, each time Calen and Arianna join, you feel the passion sizzling between them. Patanjali Ashwashila capsule cheap viagra 100mg helps in dealing with the problem of male impotence. This unique execution of the medicine lets the patients get this issue due to their medical condition while some gets due to psychological viagra cialis prix http://deeprootsmag.org/2013/06/18/h-l-mencken-to-will-durant/ problems. You see multiple people find their true loves. At times, it can be hard to keep the various sub-stories straight. And I grant you, there are a few minor editing issues that slow the story down, but not enough that you don’t want to finish.

But I warn you, this story has an antagonist you will absolutely hate. I mean it; this isn’t for the faint of heart. And there are some scenes that could be considered objectionable, but demonstrate how low the antagonist has sunk. Now that being said, there are some tender and gut-wrenching scenes that redeem the story and make you root for the good side to win out.

If you want a heart-felt story that will stick with you long after the last page, then you need to read My Soul to Keep: Calen. I give this story 3.5 cherries.

Recovering from a bad relationship, Walker comes to Purgatory looking for a place to call home. While he enjoys the casual play, he yearns to make a connection with a submissive for the long-term. The second he lays eyes on beautiful, mysterious Cass at the flogging station, his mind is made up.

Cass enjoys the sense of anonymity Purgatory gives her, and despite her determination to live by her rules she is unable to resist Walker. Can Cass overcome her personal demons to give in completely to the Dom who has her heart, and a mighty strong whip, in his hands?

Looking for a short, hot, and sweet BDSM story? Then Touch Me, Tease Me, Whip Me just might hit the spot.

Walker is a Dom in a rut. He needs something more than regular visits to the Purgatory BDSM club to satisfy his dominate nature, but finding the right submissive seems next to impossible. That changes the moment he’s introduced to the beautiful and quiet Cass. She’s a sub that was left to freefall when her former Master split without so much as a good-bye and fears trusting another Dom with her safekeeping. A tryst behind the club will prove something exists between Walker and Cass, but he’ll have to force the issue when the woman he knows will be a perfect sub tries to run away.

Though the work is well-written and I enjoyed the story, I was disappointed that we never get to glimpse anything through the eyes of Cass. Walker is the voice through-out, and that meant the circumstances that have left the heroine scared and afraid to trust are given second-hand. As the story is a novella, I understand character development oftentimes takes a back-seat to the action. But since Cass’s past is the conflict catalyst, and is one of the reasons Walker is drawn to her as a sub, it would have been nice to understand her a bit better. Without that connection, it’s was difficult to sympathize or understand her as a woman and a sub.

Otherwise, the story is fast paced and the sex scenes are scorching hot. When Walker finally masters Cass, he does more than touch, tease, and whip. He conquers that demon called fear, and leaves trust in its wake.

One fateful detour. A raging storm. She didn’t see this love coming…

Holding a knife against a child’s throat isn’t exactly how Dr. Paige Weston had planned to spend her Christmas holiday. But a jolt from an air pocket and here she is, performing an emergency tracheotomy as her flight to Fiji diverts to Kauai. The one place she swore never to return.

Beside the fact her patient comes first, what’s the chance she’ll run into her ex-fiancé—the man who jilted her when another woman turned up pregnant? Then she realizes the island hospital is woefully understaffed, forcing her to lend a hand. And upping the odds that her heart will hit more turbulence before she makes her escape.

Nathan Cross can’t believe his eyes. The emergency room doctor tending to his daughter’s cut foot is the woman he’s dreamed about every night since he was forced to walk out of her life. He should have been prepared for her indifference, but he’s blindsided by the need to hold her in his arms. Just one more time.

Yet Fate is a trickster, leaving him wondering if he should grasp for a second chance…or take his punishment for one, long-ago choice.

Warning: This book contains two lovers destined to make up for lost time, which means moments of deep emotional and hot lusty sex, including in such places as against the wall, up against a railing (my personal favorite), on the hood of a truck, in the rain, and every other imaginable place.

Merry Christmas, Paige is the kind of story you read when you want to believe that miracles do come true. As the blurb promises, there is deep emotion and oodles of sizzling hot sex in between. The problem-–for me, at least-–is I had a very hard time believing it.

The tale begins with Paige performing a tracheotomy on a child who has stopped breathing. She saves his life and can’t bear to let the little guy go when he squeezes her hand as the airplane lands at a hospital in the closest proximity. She’s worried about sticking around, of course, as the location is one she swore she’d never return to. Kauai is the place she first fell in love, as well as had her heart brutally crushed. But she won’t bump into Nathan, she reassures herself. He’s married now, having left her for the woman carrying his child some five years before. Agreeing to help the hospital during her brief stay, she gets to work to keep her mind off of the past. Then, in a stroke of misfortune-–or is it luck?-–her next patient turns out to be Nathan’s daughter.

Nathan is getting a divorce, having realized he is nothing without the woman he let go. Now that she’s accessible, he just has to gain Paige’s trust and show her that he’ll never hurt her again. buying cialis in australia This happens when the veins that supply the penis with blood when the man feels completely aroused and stimulated sexually. The medicine remains on the body for 4 to 6 hours, generic prescription viagra Visit Website which is substantial for the men to achieve the sexual satisfaction. However, not everyone is an ideal candidate for the HIFU cipla cialis italia prostate cancer treatment. Chiropractics are non invasive and hand on buy generic viagra holistic health care disciplines that primarily concentrate on the neuro musculoskeletal system. At this point, the emotional fireworks come out, and man-oh-man, are they explosive! She loves him but she hates him. She wants him but she’s afraid he’s going to hurt her. Nathan promises her the moon and pleads for forgiveness, swearing he has longed for only her after all these years. After a stint of crying, Paige literally jumps into our hero’s arms, and from that point forward, allows him to make all of the choices regarding their proposed future together with only a small demon on her shoulder whispering a cautionary warning.

I’m all for a HEA, but in this circumstance, I kept wondering what Paige was thinking. Nathan has been absent from her life for five years, has a young child with another woman, and pretty much turned his back on her and walked away when he found out he was going to be a father. But since he’s seen the error of his ways, is getting a divorce and promises he still loves and wants only her…it’s time to start fresh?

Perhaps if more time was devoted to working out their issues instead of Paige silently pondering the risks of losing everything she’s worked for before agreeing to let it all go and move to Kauai to be with Nathan, it might have been easier to believe. As it was, the reunion felt forced. Each roadblock or logical concern was met with an “I love you, we’ll get through anything” response, which is all well and good if you’re not vying for viability. As much as I wanted to like Nathan, I kept thinking about how incredibly selfish he was. First, he breaks Paige’s heart without any regard to her feelings. Then, he realizes he will have to do the same to his little girl by bringing Paige into her life immediately following her mother’s absence.

With that said, there are positive things in the story, the biggest being the style of writing and pace. Ms. McKade writes emotional scenes beautifully, and you’ll need a box of hankies when Nathan and Paige face off for the first time in five years. It’s the initial intensity that snagged my attention and held my interest. Both protagonists are torn-up over the loss of love, but want one another so much your heart will cramp and knot. I had that heavy weight in my chest on more than one occasion, and will readily admit to experiencing that wrench in my gut and sting in my eyes that accompanies the desire to tear up. It doesn’t hurt that the sexual chemistry between the protagonists is so hot you’ll blister and wilt, and considering the length of the work, there is more than enough to satisfy erotica enthusiasts. Five years is an awful long time to burn for someone, and Nathan and Paige more than make up for it when they are reunited.

I recommend Merry Christmas, Paige to readers that like stories with that have a fairytale feel but contain enough heat between the sheets to keep the blood pumping.

Balin Renforth has served the Guardians loyally for six hundred years, protecting innocents from vampire scum like Fitch Galloway. But he cannot deny the nagging familiarity Fitch inspires, any more than he can deny the irresistible curiosity stirred by the other man.

Fitch Galloway recognizes Balin immediately, though he never knew of the man’s ties to the magical Ancient Fae which gave him the powers he used to transport them to the outer limits. The Guardian has clearly grown a stick up his ass, yet Fitch cannot deny that saving him more than six hundred years ago was the best thing he ever did, and Balin has become an honorable man he cannot help but feel proud of. But that’s not the only feeling the handsome Guardian stirs in Fitch…

Or in Gladiolas. If it weren’t for her painful addiction, freed Palace slave Gladiolas would think she’d died and gone to heaven. Finding herself in a remote castle prison with two drop-dead sexy men is like a dream come true. They’re both so fiercely protective it feels like she is no longer slave, but master. Now if only she can get them to stop fighting, and start loving…

Addiction, hell hounds, enchanted castles, guardians, vampires, and ultra-steamy sex abound in The Collision, the second story in Crystal Kauffman’s Guardian’s Realm series. In the beginning, the reader is swept into a world where fantastical creatures are the norm and the world is policed by Guardians and the Vampire Secret Service. A reality in which fae Guardians that can shift to stone, and vampires work for a top-secret government-sanctioned agency of the United States–what more could a paranormal fan ask for?

Unfortunately, those two elements were something that were touched upon but never fully explored. After Balin unwittingly transports himself, Gladiola, and Fitch to a magical prison that is built as a castle that caters to their every whim, Gladiolas’s withdrawal from the drug Tourin means she’ll need sex to keep the agony at bay–and often. It goes without saying that the three wind up in bed together to ease her hurt, and a rocky–and steamy–relationship is established. The problem was I kept waiting to experience that all important emotional connection between the characters, but instead, was forced to accept it as a given as we are told it occurs.

Thankfully, the conflict and interplay with Fitch and Balin and their acceptance of one another–and consequent recognition of an entwined past–provide something deeper as the story progresses. This was the hook that kept me turning the pages, and the big reveal is definitely worth the wait.

The story itself is well written and fast paced, and the sex scenes should come with a burn notice. You’ll definitely writhe and squirm in your seat when The Collision hits in full swing, so be sure to have a glass of ice water handy for the consequent cool down following. Those that love fantasy and inferno-hot erotica be sure to put this one on your TBR list.

There is a lot of sex, but you want to see the relationship develop beyond the physical attraction.

Lissa has travelled to a small town in southern Georgia to complete her latest novel. Having rented an antebellum plantation for the next six months, she hopes to find the peace she needs in order to meet her deadline. However, she didn’t count on sharing her temporary home with the resident ghost.

Jesse has been dead for almost one hundred years. In all of his time on earth, both living and spectral, he has never met anyone like Lissa. If he had a heart, it would have stopped beating the moment he saw her. Why couldn’t this passionate, beautiful, talented woman have come along while he was still alive? Jesse would love nothing more than to take Lissa into his arms and kiss her senseless.

No matter how hot Jesse may be, Lissa realizes she can’t have a relationship with a ghost. During a trip to town, she meets local bank owner, Jared. The sinfully handsome banker sweeps Lissa off her feet. He claims to love her and wants her to move permanently to the small town of Maple Falls. Things heat up quickly between the two, leaving Lissa a little confused over whether its love or lust that is driving them to be together.

When Jared finds out that Lissa casts spells and frequents a magick shop will he still stand by her side? Or will the hint of scandal send him running the other way?

She’s a writer who isn’t thrilled with her size. He’s a ghost who loves her anyway. Then there’s the other he… what’s a girl to do? Use Magnolia Magick, of course.

You really feel like you are there at the Pearson mansion with them. The journey they go through is one of forgiveness and the realization that you must love yourself before you can truly love another. It’s also the story of love gone overboard and sideways.

That being said, as a heroine, you can’t help but admire Lissa. She writes erotica, but isn’t a very erotic woman. She’s happy being a bit plain, but not chubby. I like that she has issues because it makes her more interesting to the reader. Then again, there is a point where her ‘woe is me’ attitude is almost a story breaker.

Jesse makes a great hero because, even though he’s a ghost, he loves her—and does nearly from the moment he meets her. He doesn’t make excuses for her size and doesn’t try to change her. I like that he kept to his 100 year old upbringing—he’s a gentleman, but even then, it gets to be a bit much because he seems almost more interested in food than her.

As the antagonist, Jared is the man you want to love and then come to hate. Although I think it came a bit late, it kept me in the story. He’s perfect—which a good villain should be.

There are a few things that hamper this story. It’s fine to see what the hero and heroine are thinking, but to change point of view mid section made it hard to follow. Minor editing foibles, such as overuse of passive voice and a great bit of telling not showing also slowed the story down.

If you want a story that will warm your heart because it shows that true love does exist, then this is the story for you. I give Magnolia Magick 3.5 cherries.

Secrets, danger, lust and violence stalk the three lovers in this exciting and hot novella. The sex is hot and satisfying, the emotions are true, and the resolution sufficiently heart-pounding. Nevertheless, the sexual vibrations and the sensual atmosphere make it a pleasant read.

Logan White is released from prison after serving eight years in Corcoran for his part in a B & E where a man was killed. Enter Reverend Shane Grayson, a gay man of the cloth who helps find Logan a job, but that turns into a horror story. Can the two lovers find a way to be together or will the underbelly of society win this battle?

From page one we are instantly drawn into Logan’s world. Ex-con, desperate for a job, we immediately feel his desperation as he searches for a job and avoids the temptations that will lead him to the streets and failure. But it’s not without some dark humor. In one job interview, he describes the interviewer this way: “The man who spoke was fat, his t-shirt and apron were splotched with unidentifiable stains and he had body odor that’d drive buzzards off a crap wagon.” Can’t you just see and smell this man?

I was a bit disoriented in the beginning not to know where this story takes place. I get no sense of where we are at all until he mentions Corcoran, which I know is a California state prison and not everyone is going to know that. I suppose some people don’t care about where a story takes place, but I always like to know where I am, even if it’s a made up setting. But one thing we do get is a sense of this man’s need and desperation. All he wants is a chance – he paid his dues, now he wants to stay on the straight and narrow, but if no one will offer him that chance, what’s a boy to do… I sensed he was getting close to breaking and there are underlying hints of violence – an interrupted robbery, a harshly sensual masturbation scene that brings home in some way the life of deprivation this man has suffered for the last eight or so years. But through it all, he wants to go straight. We can feel this and it makes us like him and want him to make it.

Then he has a run in with Reverend Shane Grayson, an immensely handsome man with the bluest eyes Logan has ever seen. It’s immediately apparent that there is a sexual attraction there, at least on Logan’s part. I can’t help it — at this point, I need to read on to see if I’m right and these two end up together. Certainly Logan is having impure thoughts about the reverend right from the start. It’s unclear whether Shane feels the same, though he is very happy to help Logan in his search for a job and seems eager to do so.

There’s a rawness to the narrative I really enjoyed. This is a story of an ex-con and as such it’s not ‘pretty’ in language or setting. Many viagra on line major issues and sources of dependency are sorted out with a proper solution if determined. As dogs age, tab viagra 100mg they experience many symptoms similar to people. It is said that premature ejaculation is not the problem when a male cannot hold up erections for enough to achieve successful on line levitra davidfraymusic.com lovemaking. There’s certainly nothing pretty about Logan, though he is ruggedly handsome, but nonetheless he’s an intriguing character and almost immediately I’m drawn into his world and find myself rooting for him.

It isn’t long before it becomes clear there is a strong attraction between Logan and Shane. Shane admits he’s gay and is very attracted to Logan. They become lovers soon after this. I had an issue with the sex part –- don’t get me wrong, it was hot, but all through it I kept thinking, this guy just got out of prison, neither one of the two men know each other from Adam, yet they freely engage in unsafe oral sex. I know we’re told earlier that Logan was tested after leaving prison, but that only means he was disease free then, most diseases have an incubation period, plus he hasn’t got a clue whether Shane has ever been tested. Front and center, it’s unsafe sex no matter how you look at it and no one seems to notice. It’s like they live in another world where these things aren’t a consideration. Later when we see them have anal sex at least they use condoms, but even unsafe oral sex is problematic for me. But it’s not an issue big enough to spoil the story, it’s just something I noticed. Other readers may not care. It is, after all, fiction.

As a villain, Santino is a little too cardboard evil for my taste. He would have been more effective if he had had a little more nuance and depth to him. I find complex bad guys more appealing than cartoon ones who chew the scenery with their evilness.

The end was somewhat predictable. The only doubt I harbored was whether Logan would try to run away or tell Shane what was going on. But everything is settled in the end and it was a very satisfying ending. Not brilliant, but this is a fun, hot read that I would recommend for a cold winter night curled up in bed, alone or not.

Cassie’s been touched by an angel — and found it terrifying.

Defying her fear of heights, Cassie has moved in to the tallest building in town. She’s doing pretty well until a thunderstorm blows an unexpected visitor through her balcony window, and she finds herself nursing a wounded angel back to health.

Tending to the angel’s wounds teaches Cassie a lot more than she expected about fear…and about desire.

Content warning, explicit m/f sex, virginity loss.

A woman terrified of heights rescues an angel that has crashed through her balcony window, and the question becomes, what happens when you mix Fear and Desire? Author Kathleen Brandt has written a novella that will reveal the answer is oftentimes right before your eyes.

This is a tale of pure, and delightful, fantasy. Cassie lives in the highest rise of her apartment building to overcome her terror of heights and, after she comes to the aid of a fallen angel, faces her biggest fear of all one step at a time. Communication is an issue, as they do not speak one another’s language. The only way they can understand one another is through the angel’s intimate touch, of which Cassie is initially resistant. Slowly, they develop a trust and understanding and “Storm” (as she refers to the angel) teaches her there is no reason to fear falling if someone is waiting to catch you.

The story is well written, though here are times the progression of events and the relationship between Cassie and Storm felt a bit stilted. The reason for this was the communication issue and their inability to understand one another, and events of misunderstanding that lead to tension and emotional meltdowns for both protagonists. viagra prescription cost Maintain appropriate time gap of at least 24 hours apart. Once they have an understanding, however, the story began to flow and I settled in comfortably. Also, while the ending was sweet, it created more questions for me than answers. I can’t specify what this is without ruining the story, so I’ll refrain from doing so. It’s not a bad ending, by any means, it’s only that by adding it, you question the reality Cassie and Storm live in and how the real world–and angel one–fits into the picture.

On a more positive note, the imagery is beautiful and Ms. Brandt has created a world where angels exist apart from humans, having never made contact with them. They are beautiful, but not in the conventional sense–almost breathtakingly fragile in some aspects. I would have loved to explore the world in which they exist, and enjoyed the scenes when Storm shares snippets of his reality with Cassie.

I recommend Fear and Desire to readers that want something fast, sweet, and fantastical to enjoy with a piping mug of hot chocolate on a cold winter’s night.

Missy Lyons writes an interesting take on the Vegas stripper that entices and excites the reader. She uses the POV switch to advance the story via four of the dancers. I liked the originality even when I wasn’t sure if there was a true happily ever after for the characters. Reading about the different experiences of the girls and how they dealt was fascinating. Although I found it a bit odd that the main character hadn’t experienced giving fellatio, I thought that her forth-right approach to learning was unique. The erotic scenes were indeed steamy and memorable.

The idea of the stories advancing the plot and helping the new girl boost her courage to dance is a unique device to tell the story. Though there was no real antagonist, the pacing of the story kept the reader involved.

If you want a red-hot erotic story guaranteed to make you squirm, then you need to read Straight Up. I give this story 3.5 cherries.
