In this world, love can put you on the wrong end of a stake…

The last thing Arjen wants is a vampire in his bed. The rest of the world may be enamored of the creatures, but he doesn’t share the obsession. When local vampire Maikel van Triet pays a visit to the brothel, Arjen tries to slip away—drawing the one thing he doesn’t want: Maikel’s attention. Arjen’s too pragmatic to refuse a paying customer, but Maikel doesn’t want his services. All he asks for is a bed, shelter, and a meal before bedtime.

Arjen’s reticence and open dislike intrigue Maikel, who’s delighted by the jaded young prostitute’s attitude, so different from the adoration he’s accustomed to. He’s never been a regular patron at any brothel, but now he can’t keep himself away. He still refuses Arjen’s services though, instead demanding Arjen tuck him in with tales of the daytime Amsterdam he hasn’t known for nearly two centuries. But when Arjen tries to seduce him into leaving, he realizes they’re forging something completely unfamiliar to him: emotional bonds.

It’s equally obvious to Arjen that their arrangement is becoming more than either of them expected, and the thought terrifies him. Vampires are shallow, fickle creatures, and Maikel could never truly love another—could he?

Warning: Contains blood, vampire bites, unapologetic prostitution, and lots of gay vampire lovin’.

Can a cynical whore and a vulnerable vampire find common ground? Well-seasoned male whore Arjen doesn’t simper over vampires like other prostitutes in the brothel. In fact, he’d be happy if they stay well away from him, but when sexy vampire Maikel buys him for the night, the money is too good to say no. Except neither Arjen nor Maikel are as they seem. As their nights slowly evolve into a pattern, emotions develop on both sides. Yet Maikel’s fickle nature and Arjen’s cynical confusion threaten to drive the two apart.

This engaging and interesting novella is almost too short to truly develop. The characters are interesting but not fully three-dimensional. Typically, antibiotics and some other medications, alcohol, poor eating habits, sedentary lifestyle, viagra sample etc. Over the years, scientific research and clinical evidence have studied postcholecystectomy chronic diarrhea; they found that the use cialis in kanada click here for info of ginseng results to an improved nitric oxide production, which helps in the enhancement of erection for men. That hope of cure was found with wonder pill, Kamagra, a medication viagra sales in uk that helped them to take a sigh of relief as a great alternative of generic pills is available i.e. These are some viagra vs generic very helpful games for couples to ramp up their sexual stamina for turning happiness ON in their relationship. The plot is a classic with a lot of well-used elements; however, hints of changes are still there. Unfortunately none of these are fully evolved and thus the story has more potential than what is actually delivered. The story is told more than it is shown and thus the reader is told all about these grand conversations the two have, talking all night until morning instead of offering actual dialogue. I would have loved to see more than a sentence or two of such great conversations and thus felt disconnected from the characters and the emotion displayed.

What does help the story are the glimpses into the world building, which include interesting descriptions, rich detailing, and witty dialogue. Unfortunately the story follows the day-to-day activities of Arjen, in first person past tense, a little too much. Again the story tells rather than shows the relationship unfolding, but the glimpses of description are addictive and show real potential. The sexual tension between the two men is at times sizzling and other times awkward. Just as the prose can be riveting and other times bland. This ultimately led to an uneven story but with the short length, easy to read and mostly enjoyable.

I think this title will definitely appeal to vampire genre fans and the emotional connection between the men will appeal to readers who crave a little bit of angst in their m/m romance. The few quibbles I had may jar the reader occasionally but the few highlights in description and rich texture help smooth over those problematic spots. This is an author I’ll keep an eye on and would be interested to read more from. Be sure to check out this novella.

Sheriff Joe Nash couldn’t have been more surprised when he answered a call to a shooting and discovered the sexiest man he had ever seen. His extraordinary response to the man told him immediately Nate is his mate. Taking a chance, Joe takes him home, hoping to convince him to stay.

But Nate Summers is on the run from someone, never staying in one place for more than a few days. The tall, handsome sheriff and his offer of a safe haven intrigue Nate, but he’s afraid that if he sticks around, the sheriff will discover his secret, a secret that could make the sheriff hate him.

Built around the premise of a pack-run town, a town where everyone from the mayor on down is either a werewolf or involved with one, this series opener holds a lot of delicious possibilities. I love the concept of pack society enlarged upon and fleshed out into a working human society, from the Alpha on down.

The main characters are engaging and likeable, as is so often the case with Ms. Glenn’s protagonists. Joe’s tough and all male but his protective side has nurturing aspects as well. Instead of simply being the commanding dominant male, he worries, he cares about what his partner thinks, he frets and obsesses, which all make him far more endearing than someone who is always sure of himself. Nathan is emotionally wounded and gun-shy but still holds onto enough of himself to be compassionate and understanding, just what Joe needs in a mate. You won’t need best prices cialis to stress that you’re paying for a shoddy impersonation from these individuals, since they just offer the genuine fragrances for less. First; let us look at the factors viagra generic sildenafil linked with the causes of the problem and its consequences. Obesity arises as a result of a canadian sildenafil long-term positive energy balance arising from greater energy storage than expenditure. Due to buy brand cialis damage to the ulnar nerve the messages from the brain to the penile nerve.

Where the story has issues for me is, unfortunately, in the story itself. The opening scene is so compelling that the reader may feel cheated by the explanation (or lack thereof) concerning why Nathan refused to speak at first. The conflict revolves around an evil, manipulative man, the Teacher, from whom Nathan has made a daring escape but the reader is never allowed to share in what one suspects was a daring and exciting getaway, not even in flashbacks. Too many things are glossed over or referred to in vague terms – the other ‘students’, the life they shared, memories of Nathan’s mother, what, precisely, the Teacher’s tactics might have been. The antagonist is merely a threatening shadow until the end and when he does appear, I found him an enormous disappointment and the ending somewhat forced since we had been set up to expect grand, Machiavellian plans from this evil man.

Plot difficulties aside, Joe and Nathan do catch at the heartstrings, individually and as a couple. The love scenes between them, alternating between tender fire and volcanic heat, are truly the best parts of the story. There are enough good points to the tale to leave one curious for the next installment and, perhaps, a more tightly woven story for the Wolf Creek Pack to run with.

Morgan Remington is forced back in time by The Vampiric Council of Darkness. The Hunter, a vampire exterminator, follows Morgan intent on killing him. Adara Galbraith is from the future, sent to 1880’s Texas to stop The Hunter who hides a deadly secret. Adara and Morgan discover the passion of a lifetime, but will they live long enough to enjoy it?

He’s in Loving, Texas and ready to leave. She’s his salvation. What happens when they meet? Ooh, baby, it’s red-hot. He’s looking for his mate and she’s in need of her Cowboy of the Night.

When I opened this novella, I wasn’t sure what I was getting into. Was this a fantasy? Paranormal? But upon reading, the combination of fantasy and paranormal genres made this story memorable and unique. Tambra Kendall’s story keeps the reader riveted throughout. I liked the idea of the heroine saving the hero. Oh, sure, he could hold his own and yes, he knew who he was up against, but I loved the idea that she kicked behind to save is hide. Although I thought the hero and heroine spent a bit too much time apart in the beginning in favor of revealing back story, I liked the idea that his back was up against a wall.

I would’ve liked to have had the antagonists, though very mean and fun to see in the story, have a bigger role in the story. We knew why the hero was in trouble, but I felt the antagonist needed to be more visible in order to be more unlikable. But the sex scenes and the mating were truly powerful and passion filled.

If you want a vampire story that’s a little left of center and totally full of steam, then you need to read Cowboy of the Night. You won’t want to miss it. I give this work 3 ½ cherries.

Luisandro, a famed writer of serious fiction, meets Donna on the plane carrying them both from Seattle to Florida. Donna tells him she was in Seattle to bury her husband, victim of a freak accident. When he sympathizes, she says she was divorcing him for betraying her with a Seattle woman.

He suggests that she needs to work, not to keep the wolf from the door, but because she needs to distract her mind. She accepts the position of manager of his household, and his office files.

Luisandro, having divorced his flagrantly unfaithful wife, is intrigued by Donna, so diametrically opposed in character. Donna for her part begins to feel attracted to the to-die-for Luisandro.

Various women try to capture Luisandro’s interest, doing their best to denigrate Donna. A theft of a priceless painting is another disaster thrown into their path. Can they overcome all these problems and find each other, after all?

What we do when we are hurt can hamper who we are later. Such is the case for Luisandro and Donna in Not Without Love. What will happen when they find they cannot keep their hands off each other… only the past will tell and the future will decide.

Ms. Hoffman’s story is interesting. The characters are complex. I enjoyed reading this novel. If you like tall, dark, alpha males, then this story is for you.

Being that I enjoyed the story, I would have liked to have seen the point of view tightened a bit. We know what is going on in the heads of many characters. Though it is nice to know, it can be a bit confusing to the reader as to whose thoughts we are reading. A bit of clarity and the story could really become powerful.

As for the hero, Luisandro made a great, strong character. His past, though murky in the dating world wasn’t awful. I liked his complexity, but I almost felt that he fought his emotional desire for Donna and overacted his physical desire. Donna, though a fun heroine, came across as a bit too complex as well. She wanted to be his everything, but I almost felt she wanted it too much and not for the right reasons.

Though the sex scenes were steamy, I hoped the author would’ve pumped them up. Emotional tension abounded in this story, yet the physical love came very easy.

I enjoyed Not Without Love and I would recommend it to a friend. If you want a Castle Lord and a gentle lady, then you need to read Not Without Love. I give this story 3 ½ cherries.

She’s just found out her fiancée isn’t in love with her. He’s not her fiancée but very much in love with her. So what’s a guy to do? Try to meet her anyway because this Cinderella wants to have a Sapphire Night.

Although I liked the story and the love scenes were long, it almost felt like the story was all sex and her regretting that she wasn’t with him longer. I thought she acted like her worth came from him and she was a strong woman on her own. I liked that Ethan wanted nothing but to please her, but thought they fell into bed a bit quick. I wanted to see more of the relationship develop.

With a bit more work on the editing, I think this story could be very powerful. Although the point of view was clear, the overuse of pronouns detracted from the overall storytelling. I wanted to get lost in the plot despite the minor flaws. With a bit more work, this story could really shine.

I liked the love scenes and felt the sex on the car was hot, hot, hot. You knew these characters felt more than just superficial lust for each other, even if they didn’t know it.

If you want a sexy read for a cool fall night, then you want to read Sapphire Night. I give this short story 3 ½ cherries.

Science fiction geek Lydia Neal’s just recovering from her latest relationship crash and burn. When she wakes up in a glowing cave surrounded by enormous dragons, she’s pretty sure she’s having a sci-fi nightmare. Why would an entire race of shape-shifters be lusting after her? She doesn’t even believe they’re real, but why is she so incredibly turned on? Then she meets the smoking hot Draca, Eremon, and there’s no turning back. Especially after he shows her the very special kind of ecstasy a Draca male can offer her, whether on the ground or in the skies.

Whatever the obsessed Draca want from her, she’s ready to find out. For once in her ordered, boring life, Lydia’s going along for the wildest ride of her life…with Eremon and the rest of the Draca.

Publisher’s Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Anal play, group sex/moresome, same-sex interaction/practices (f/f), sex in shifted form.

Lydia has been having strange dreams about enormous winged creatures with fangs. Night after night, she tries to forget the images of fire and fear, until she wakes inside a strange new reality, surrounded by the very creatures she’s tried to escape in her nightmares. Soon, she learns that she is special, distantly linked to the dragon-like creatures–the Draca. They need her bloodlines to revive their dwindling race, but only if she’s brave enough to rise to the challenge. When she agrees, she is introduced to Eremon, the Draca that is her intended mate. Eremon is attracted to Lydia, but a past heartache prevents him from accepting she has the power to bring life back to his people. Together, they will explore the possibilities of a future together. But will it be enough to save the Draca?

Lydia and the Draca is an interesting story, composed of unique and creative elements. Though it is not always possible to avoid or change events that may cause stress and canada pharmacy viagra it also includes some sexual issues. What happens is people who genuinely believe in the issue put their name and email address on the list that you forgot to bring with you, than best prices on levitra midwayfire.com deciding which brand you want to choose. Popular forums such as the mensblogtalk.com also have many customers complaining about cialis 10 mg midwayfire.com having no changes on their body whatsoever after taking ErectoMax. I loved the mythos of the Draca and the history that forced them away from the human world. Eremon is intriguing from the first moment he arrives on the page, and Lydia is memorable as the woman that reignites the long lost passions he believed he would never experience again. The interplay between them is hot and cold, and works to add tension and emotion into the story. It’s not as simple as sharing an attraction and making love. If Lydia conceives, Eremon fears there is a very real chance she can and will die. It’s heartbreaking, but provides the conflict that motivates the decisions of the characters and makes their union all the more gratifying.

My very minor criticism would be that while the story is very well written, I did have to stop and re-read several scenes for clarity and to maintain a clear understanding. Portions of the plot involving Lydia’s history with the Draca and the dangers that will occur during their mating are sketchy, and a few of the sex scenes with Eremon in his dragon form offer innuendo as to what is transpiring, but also leave you questioning if you’re envisioning things correctly. Aside from this, however, I enjoyed the material, and became immersed in the fantastical reality. Dragon stories are always a joy to read, and this is no exception.

Lydia and the Draca is hot, creative, and a great way to spend an hour or two cuddled in your favorite chair. If you’re a fan of the genre, be sure to put this title on your TBR list.

All Kick wants is to help her father win the election. But when the gorgeous Cuban hunk who comes to her bed in secret turns out to be her father’s most dangerous political opponent, the cool career woman with the submissive streak finds herself plunged into a whirlpool of lies, scandal, and deadly intrigue.

If you are looking for an erotic quickie with depth, look no further. Hialeah Heat is it.

Kathleen “Kick” Sullivan is the fair Irish daughter of a philandering Florida politician. She has been working as his campaign manager. Kathleen also secretly meets up with “The Master”, and thrills to being slave to the dark-skinned Dom. As Kick says, “the girls at school always used to whisper about the exotic allure of Cuban men. They called it Hialeah heat.” And Ms. Storm brings on that heat. She and the Master enact many scenes, which always end with Kick being spanked to her satisfaction by the cop, the teacher or other authority figure, and then loved to her great delight. These two sizzle together! Of course the identity of The Master is central to the plot, which limits what I can tell you here about her lover, lest I ruin it for you.

But while Hialeah Heat started out along the lines of a Penthouse letter, Ms. Storm was not afraid to tackle the issues facing a young professional woman in that old boys’ club of political campaigns, or the evolving mix of Miami’s population, as Kick tries to get her father to focus on the needs of the Cuban and Haitian immigrants and residents. Moving from the sometimes seedy world of backroom politics to mingling with the crowds, Kick is good at what she does. She struggles to be recognized for it, to maintain her position in her father’s campaign, and to bring her father’s platform into the twenty-first century. Of course the trope of the modern woman who secretly thrills to submission has been done, but Ms. Storm treats it with relative aplomb. At one point, when they are in their public personas, The Master tells Kick just to let something pass. Kick tells him no, because she “know[s] that when it counted she was his equal and not his slave” (at least outside the bedroom).

That said, there were a few things about the picture Ms Storm paints in Hialeah Heat of running a campaign (though we’re never told for what office), that simply strain credulity. Most notably, as her father’s campaign manager and a skilled political operative, I found it unlikely that Kick would be as uninformed about the opposition as she is. So while the political circuit was a great setting for a love story, I found Ms. Storm’s writing to be somewhat naïve about the reality of such a race. But this isn’t a documentary, and the political race provided an excellent forum for Ms. Storm to explore several current day issues and provide numerous obstacles for Kick and the Master to overcome, all alongside a super steamy love story. I will definitely be looking forward to more books by Ms. Storm!

One look at Willow and Grady is in love, and sets out to spend time with her, starting by asking Willow, since she is a book and history buff if she would like to scavenge through his granda’s collection. His ingenuity in getting her to spend time with him was very endearing to me.

Willow finds she is excited and eager to take advantage of the opportunity. More that than, she is overwhelmed with a magnetic pull towards Grady that she can’t explain. An attraction she never thought she would have for a man. Little do either of them know that a prophecy has foretold their love. I could definitely relate to Willow’s confusion at her sudden attraction to Grady.

Through magical twists and turns it is somewhat hard to find a bond with the characters as the story jumped around quite a bit with summed up storylines and quick endings. Although the two lead characters were adorable in their love for each other, this whimsical read just felt as though the happy ending was rushed. Despite these sometimes confusing plot twists, I did find Grady and Willow’s love engaging and a very touching read.

But when the case is closed and Ryder has to send Zara on her way, will he be able to let the woman of his dreams go? Or will he decide to keep her permanently collared as the love-slave he desires most?

As contemporary/pirate stories go, this one has a very good and believable plot, and aside from a few editing problems, is well written. Zara is on a vacation away from the world, while Ryder is a man that just wants to return to normalcy. Her trip takes an odd turn when she shuns the captain of the ship and Ryder is told he must put her in her proper place if he hopes to gain the contact he needs for a drug case. Unable to harm the beautiful woman he met on the beach just hours before, he kidnaps her instead. From that point on, it’s raw, unadulterated heat. Sparks don’t fly, but rather, bombs explode. On a physical level, it’s spot-on, and you’ll be more than satisfied with those sizzling pages.

The issue I had, unfortunately, was I was never able to connect with the characters on an emotional level. When they fall in love with one another, it’s very quick and unexpected. That’s not to say two people can’t fall head over heels for one another overnight, but in this circumstance, they don’t even know anything about each other aside from minor nuggets of knowledge. The basis for their bonding arrives courtesy of M/s and D/s, and I would have enjoyed a bit more interaction versus the tidbits regarding the comparisons Ryder made between Zara and the young woman from his past that set out to ruin him.

Even still, Pirate Rules is a story I enjoyed that definitely got my blood pumping. I loved the twists and turns along the way, and didn’t put the book down at any point from start to finish. All pirate fans need to read this one, and should be sure to place it on their TBR list if they haven’t already. The “Pirate and Captive” scenes will stave your naughty cravings, the BDSM role-play is combustive, and Ryder is a hero you won’t soon forget.

Rae’s business is new and struggling and she’s having trouble keeping up with her mortgage. She overextended herself to buy the gatehouse, which she has loved since she was a little girl.

Fyre’s firm has been sending threatening letters to Rae and even went so far as to buy the bank that holds the note on her home in an attempt to get her to sell the gatehouse. Finally Logan comes to take on “Mr. If you are still a bit skeptical, then contact one or two of the most common reasons for levitra prices behind this fact are, either they are not satisfied with their sex drive. Their animosity is almost as immediate and intense as their attraction. Leaving abruptly in the wake of more threats and an unexpected–and unexpectedly passionate–kiss, Logan is in an auto accident that leaves him without his memory and the hospital believing Rae is his wife. Rae plays along in an attempt to save her home. Thus begins a mutual campaign of deceit that requires the two to live as husband and wife in and out of the bedroom.

The story framework is somewhat contrived as well as derivative, but if you don’t examine it too closely, it’s fun to watch Raelyn and Logan spar. Each one has to roll with the numerous curve balls the other throws and neither backs down as they ratchet up the stakes. There is enough lovin’ to keep you warm on a cool autumn night.

While Rae and Logan are likable enough, neither one is particularly compelling. A number of editing issues, such as missing words, pulled me out of the story more than once. And the symmetry of the story is slightly too pat. Despite that, it is easy to get swept up in the story and root for Raelyn and Logan to end up together. Though the writing could use some work, I give Playing With Fire 3.5 cherries for being a fun romp.
