Aten, a shape-shifter, has just opened Imhotep’s, a sex club for the citizens of Atlanta. Anyone can have their fantasies indulged, whether it’s a little bondage play or group activities. Aten’s tastes have always run to the dominant/submissive category. He dominates, she submits.

As a descendant of pharaohs, upon Aten’s thirtieth birthday, the sun god will choose his mate for him. However, the sun god must have gotten it wrong, because Kym is nobody’s submissive. Still, she’s the hottest woman he’s ever seen, and Aten decides to pull out every stop to make this dominatrix his. When Aten brings his half brother Brett to the mix, he’s sure the three of them will have their every desire fulfilled.

Immortal gods don’t stop meddling in mortals’ affairs just because their people cease building temples to their glory. Aten Nasser discovers to his discomfort that the Egyptian god Ra has his future all arranged and that fate has more to do than free will with his choice of bed partner. For Aten Nasser is no ordinary man: he is a shifter, both man and panther, subject to rules beyond the earthly laws of men.

Secrets, danger, lust and violence stalk the three lovers in this exciting and hot novella. The sex is hot and satisfying, the emotions are true, and the resolution sufficiently heart-pounding. However, the writing lacks a little polish and the descriptions are a little sketchy. The emotional content could be more intense as well. Nevertheless, the sexual vibrations and the sensual atmosphere make it a pleasant read.
