Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed by the ending of this story, which left me with too many questions. I was confused about why the story seemed so incomplete. However, the undying love between Cady and Obsidian is remarkable. Throughout the entire story, even when they are bickering, I could tell how much they loved one another. This is even more evident when they have to battle the daemons. The fact that both are more concerned with their spouse instead of themselves, and their willingness to die alongside each other knowing they could not survive if they could not be together spoke volumes to me. I guess in the end I am just a sucker for romance and this story definitely has it. So if you enjoy reading about a happy, loving couple who indulge in plenty of steaming hot sex, then Cady and Obsidian may have what you want.

In addition, the words flowed over the page and the characterizations were so realistic that they brought the characters and story to life, especially when the bantering began between Mary Anne, The Tanners, and her brothers. You can’t help but fall in love with all of them. However, I must admit that there were times I was a little frustrated with Malcolm and Mary Anne for the way they treated Mike, but there’s that old saying… every dog has his day. Well, Mike definitely has his when it comes to Malcolm and Mary Anne.

I hope that Ms. Penn writes a sequel to Tanner’s Angel because I would love to know what happens now that Digger and Charlie, the other two Tanner brothers have returned home. She has definitely left the ending open to a sequel. I’d also love a story about the Carol brothers – hint, hint.

If you’re looking for a captivating, sensual story that will have you laughing from the bantering, and panting from the sex scenes, then Tanner’s Angel is the book to read. Bravo Ms. Penn! Not only have you hit a home run with Tanner’s Angel, but I’d also recommend it to my friends.

I can also credit the author for putting together an HEA that is not the typical happily-ever-after most expect. It stays in line with who and what Bo is and that is to be commended.

Scream For Me is a different and macabre sort of romance story that gives a distinct and spooky edge to their love making. If a reader is looking for a paranormal love story on the dark side, then this book has a few unique offerings sure to fit the bill and is worth taking a look at.

Teal Ceagh is a new-to-me-author, but this story was one I’ll recommend to all my friends. From the outset, I was intrigued with this story. I like vampire tales and one where virginity is so important is a new twist on the old standard. I was drawn in from page one and fully involved.

I liked Eva’s character. She’s trusting and meek in the form of a woman who could rip a man’s throat out with her bare hands. I liked that she held onto her humanity at a time when a vampire can lose everything so fast.

Ryan is an intriguing man. He’s a demon hunter and though I got to see things through his eyes, I wasn’t totally sure about him. The bond that grows between Kyle and Jillian is heart-warming. Kyle takes Jillian on an intense ride and she must decide if she wants off or to be taken even higher. As the two get to know each other they find a mutual attraction that many look for but do not find. If they are willing it just might be an attraction worth fighting for. Fast paced and written well this book should not be missed. I will definitely be looking for more books from this author in the future.

Not only is the sex explosive between them, but they genuinely care for one another and cannot help but fall in love. This story definitely had the right amount of sugar and spice.

Because this was a sci-fi story based on another world the author really had free rein to use her imagination. While she did a great job with the characters I would have liked to have had more description about the environment around the characters. I wasn’t able to picture this unique world as well as I would have liked.

The conflict in this story was great. It actually left me questioning who was really on the side of justice on a few occasions. The only people you can actually say have the right intentions throughout this story are Senth and Khyff and even they have a checkered past. I mean how trustworthy can a thief and a prostitute really be? This was a good sci-fi story with a great cast and interesting plot. I look forward to more from this world.

The best part was that the women become friends from opposite sides of the track and see their lives in different lights. It’s a win-win for all story (except for the bad guy). Loved, loved, loved the entire story.

You won’t be able to put this book down! A Best Book, it’s a wild, wet, and wonderful story that will make you want to keep turning pages to get a taste of what’s next. I’d buy this author’s work in a heartbeat!
