It’s a sexy man who refuses to hand over the tooth. Desperate to save her would-be career, she fights for possession. So what if her wand misses and turns the man’s assistant into a pumpkin. It could happen to the best of fairies!

When Trevor chases after the tooth—and the girl—no amount of science can explain their attraction or the chaos unraveling his carefully laid plans. But there’s no such thing as magic… right?

Daisy has a simple job to do, but getting it done is anything but simple.

I love a story that makes me smile. This was one of those books. Erica Ridley’s story is crisp, light, and had me in stitches. I rooted for the characters and hoped they’d find their heart’s delight. Once I picked up the book, putting it down until after the last page wasn’t an option.

Daisy is a riot. All she wants is to trade in her fake wings for the true wings of the tooth fairy. Seems like it would be easy. It’s not. She bumbles, fumbles and has to learn her way around. I liked reading about her because yes, she’s fae, but she’s very human in her reactions and needs. I wanted her to get those wings.

Then there’s Trevor. I love when he realizes her best magic isn’t in her tooth fairy skills, but in between her ears – his words, not mine. She helps him and is a perfect partner for him, flaws and all. I loved when he realized that and knew he’d never get over her. They grow together and learn to be comfortable in their own skin. These two shouldn’t be together – because she’s fae and he’s human – but it works and works well.

If you want a book that’s light, but funny, got lots of heart, but not too heavy on heat, then this might be the book you’re looking for. I recommend it.

HE’S GONE ROGUE

Ex-navy SEAL Rock Babineaux is as Cajun as they come—spicy, sexy, and more than a bit wicked. But would he actually betray his country? Even his best friends on the special-ops Black Knights team aren’t sure they can trust him. Now the target of a massive manhunt, Rock knows the only way to protect the team—especially his partner, Vanessa—is to run…

Sure, her partner has his secrets, but there’s no one in the world she’d rather have by her side in a tight spot. Which is good because she and Rock are about to get very tight…

Actions send adrenaline racing and loves scenes take the breath away and inspire the imagination. Thrill Ride does indeed live up to its title. This is the fourth Black Knight Inc. book, but it stands alone beautifully. Of course, if you have read the earlier books, you’ll have a special treat. You’ll get to catch up with characters that swept you away on previous death-defying missions and into breathtaking love scenes. Ozzie, Becky and Frank, Billy, Eve, just to mention a few, add a special spice and humor to the do or die action. They are a kaleidoscope of personalities, intelligence, and actions. Each has a special something to enhance the story.

Thrill Ride is Richard “Rock” Babineaux and Vanessa Cordero’s story. The smooth-talking Cajun, with his wit, Southern charm, and gift for getting the truth from people, has supposedly gone “rogue”. Vanessa, the curvy, petite, stubborn, lionhearted communications expert at Black Knights Inc, is the best one to find him in the jungle area settlements of Costa Rica. She speaks the dialects of the region and has the moxie to finish what she starts. The connection Rock and Vanessa make as they struggle to stay alive in the jungle and the events that seem determined to sever that connection make page-turning reading.

The “burn and delete” that the CIA puts out on Rock sets the Black Knights in high gear to find him before anyone else does, but Rock is not easy to find. He can “disappear faster than a cry on the wind”.

The secretiveness of missions breed distrust among agencies and when ‘powers-that-be’ use this to promote their own agendas, actions do get wild and deadly. The unknown Rwanda Don wrecks havoc with lots of lives via actions of others and seems to be an untouchable antagonist. However, the Black Knights work their collective intellect and magic, keeping the reader on high alert for the entire book.

The inventive, descriptive, often outrageous language; the imagery; the bigger-than-life characters along with the intriguing, suspenseful, tangled plot that Julie Ann Walker uses, captures and sweeps the reader along into a vicarious experience that bombards the senses and sends emotions skyrocketing.

Super entertainment!

There are only two things Sophie Reid doesn’t do: lawyers and sex. When sexy, lawyer Ryan Becker stumbles into her life, her first two thoughts are “no,” and “definitely no.” After Sophie and Ryan rescue a dog from certain death on the Hollywood Freeway, they share one smoldering kiss. Sophie knows a potential train wreck when she sees it and leaves the dog and Ryan at the pound knowing she’ll never see either of them again.

Poor kid turned corporate attorney, Ryan vowed he’d get an education, succeed, and be welcomed in the front door of the most stately homes in Beverly Hills. Now that his career is on an upward trajectory, he is ready to settle down. Unfortunately, the women he has been meeting haven’t set his heart racing. Enter: Sophie.

A master of persuasion by profession, Ryan convinces Sophie to pursue their undeniable mutual attraction. But Ryan’s quest to be a success at the very occupation she reviles rankles her.

There is Hormone Replacement Therapy for transsexual men and women, causes the development of many of the cialis 10 mg cute-n-tiny.com secondary sexual characteristics (pubic and body hair). They have been servicing viagra sale mastercard US customers for decades. When a Hollywood union strikes, Ryan and Sophie find themselves on opposite sides of the bargaining table. Can their sparks in the bedroom overcome their standoff in the boardroom?

I chose this book for review because it sounded fun. And it was.

Sophie is an unusual heroine. She hides behind a demeanor of in-your-face rebellion with her constantly changing hair color (it’s yellow, it’s pink, it’s blue…) and numerous piercings in an attempt to force everyone to like her just as she is. Thing is, I’m not entirely certain even Sophie knew who the “real” Sophie was. She was just determined to be the polar opposite of everyone else in her family.

This frustration with her family is what causes her dislike of lawyers. She’ll date anyone but a lawyer — she figured that left a pretty big pool of available guys. Of course, the fact that she doesn’t like sex (freezes up,in fact, whenever things get hot and heavy) means that most of her relationships with anyone but a lawyer don’t last very long.

In truth, I struggled to like Sophie. I really, really liked Ryan and just didn’t feel that her reasons for disliking lawyers were strong enough to completely write off the breed. He was remarkably patient and kind to her, putting up with amazing amounts of flip-flopping behavior and occasional verbal abuse all because he felt a spark.

So here is my conundrum: Love the hero, ambiguous about the heroine … right up the last page, actually. There were moments I really could identify with Sophie, those times when she finally just forgot about all the crap that upset her and was truly just herself. Underneath all her angst and irritation there was a really great girl … we just didn’t see it very often. Even after we met her parents, the cause of all her problems, I couldn’t understand why she behaved with such extremes. They didn’t seem that bad.

Still, the romance between Sophie and Ryan was both sweet and smoking hot (Ryan makes a step-by-step plan to get Sophie over her sexual issues … and I’m pretty sure my eReader caught fire during those times) and the secondary cast was pretty awesome, too. The plot was fun, Ryan’s family was seriously amazing (I LOVED his mother to death, and his brother was a hoot) and the romance was mostly believable. I was interested enough to never even feel tempted to stop reading, and I’m rather hoping there will be a sequel with Sophie’s best friend … yes, please?

Don’t read this for the dog, though. She’s present throughout the story, but not really integral to the plot (except for creating the cute meet). Read it for a seriously amazing hero you’ll fall crazy in love with, secondary characters that sometimes steal the show, and a story that will keep you smiling.

Deciding to interfere with his life as he’d done hers, she signs him up to temporarily home a shelter dog – a miniature Chihuahua named Layla. A fun, lighthearted “war of kindness” is what follows.

Brimming with laughter, Christmas spirit and a healthy dose of spicy romance, this book is fantastic fun. Both Molly and Aiden are quite attracted to each other, but equally frustrated and irritated. I loved how Aiden and Molly are both strong minded, independent people who don’t like giving an inch. As they each try to one-up the other by “fixing” each other’s life, the chemistry between them smolders and grows, guaranteed to explode with sexy consequences. I really enjoyed how this wasn’t a “regular” romance story. While yes, they do help each other neither is initially very accepting of the other’s help. They’re not pig headed about it, but each so strongly resists the sense of being “helped” or fixed the situations they both create made me laugh and really enjoy this different way they came together and realized their true feelings for one another.

With a bunch of interesting secondary characters, and strong ties between everyone, this light hearted romance really had me giggling and sighing happily. Perfect for a chilly evening or curling up and relaxing over the weekend, I’d think this would appeal to a broad range of readers.

For Mia Sanford and Jake Hudson it took an office party, a small incident with the panties and one stupid office bet to bring them together (finally). I say finally because they were ogling each other and lusting after one another for years. And I still cannot understand why it took them so long; they are both grown up single people without partners or any other obstacles between them. They are working together in the same company, but not in the same department, neither one of them was superior to the other. It was pretty unbelievable that Jake needed approval from the company director in order to pursue Mia. Another thing that did not sit well with me is that when Mia and Jake finally get together their relationship is more sexual and physical than romantic which satisfied my desire for heat, but not for heart.

But on the other hand I find the other aspects of the story i.e. office party, description of Mia and Jake coworkers, group dynamics at the party very well written and interesting. The author has done a good job in creating the entire cast of characters. I also liked how Mia handled the situation with bet. That was really funny scene.

Risky Business falls more in the category of happy for now that happily ever after, but it is a fun and quick read packed with amusing situations and hot sex.

Taran McLaine knows the agony of his incubus father’s curse more intimately than his siblings. A century ago he murdered the only woman he ever loved. When he finds her alive, he’s faced with the ultimate heartbreak. They have no chance at a future–he’s done all he can to insure that on his day of judgment the ancestors will deny him a mortal life.

Years ago, Solene Larouche embraced Taran and the dark curse that cloaked him. She knew the risk she faced, but when Drandar pulls her back to life, she agrees to aid the demon and damn Taran to eternal suffering. One look at the man who held her heart so long ago, however, changes her mind. She must find a way to free him, even if it means condemning herself to eternity as Drandar’s slave.

As Samhain approaches, Solene and Taran conspire to destroy Drandar. But will their combined effort enable them to kill the incubus or will they be cast into Drandar’s own special Hell and all hope of their renewed love marked for death?

Imagine harboring an evil deep inside you that threatens to destroy anything and everything you love…

Taran has done some despicable things in his life, but brutally killing the one woman that meant the world to him has tormented him, non-stop, for years. He’s resigned himself to living in solitary misery, with the exception of a mangy alley cat who allows limited contact in exchange for tuna. Taran is a good man with a caring heart, but he carries a curse from his father that makes him do terrible things to those least deserving it. He’s ostracized himself from his family and has chosen to spend eternity in self-loathing until he finds a way to end his life and his suffering. What he never expects is to have a second chance with Solene, his one true love. After all, how could he? She’s dead; brutally murdered by his own hands.

Solene shows the depth and devotion true love is willing to go through. She’s given the opportunity to avenge her death and regain the life that had been taken from her, but when she sees her beloved Taran, when she understands the depth of his misery and guilt, she knows she can never betray him, even if it damns her to an eternity of sexual servitude to the very demon who cursed her lover. Solene shows us her strength and fortitude when all seems lost. She’s willing to sacrifice herself all over again if it will give Taran the life he so longs for, the life he deserves as a mortal man.

As if Taran’s curse isn’t enough to make him miserable, learning that the only way to end it is by working with the very people who he felt surely hated him for his terrible deeds is about more than he can take. But sometimes we have to swallow our pride and humble ourselves to those who’ve hurt us deeply, especially if it means protecting the ones we love. Taran’s endless love for Solene, paired with his anger and burning hatred for his sire, may just be the encouragement he needs to finally end the curse that’s plagued his family for so long.

Ms. Ashgrove has penned a deeply touching story in Marked for Death. Her exceptional talent for creating imagery with words had me intrigued from the start. The main characters, Solene and Taran, are ones I quickly grew attached to. I wanted to know what happened. At times, their future seemed very bleak and hopeless. If anything, this made their plight seem even more real. Everyone wants a happily ever after, but the ability to make the reader wonder up until the very end is a rare talent and nice break from stories that are predictable from beginning to end. There are several secondary characters added toward the end that make it a bit difficult to keep up with. But I suspect, since there are several tales in this line, that these characters have their own stories to tell in their own time. I thoroughly enjoyed Marked for Death by Claire Ashgrove and plan on getting my hands on more of her intriguing stories.

Deeply troubled hearts, love that spans across life and death, and complex characters with admirable qualities are what I found in this wonderful story. Be sure to check out Claire Ashgrove’s Marked for Death. You just may be pleasantly surprised.

Or that the bold beauty would lure him once more into a dangerous game. Only this time, Clayton plans to be the victor—with the tempting Olivia in his bed as his prize. But once passion ignites between them, the hard-hearted agent will face his greatest battle yet—for his heart…

I love this wonderfully unique series that is quickly making Anna Randol one of my favorite Regency romance authors. The series is about the trials and tribulations of three infamous spies who are now retired and embarking on their new lives and finding love along the way. Each book is a thrill packed adventure for these three very unique leads. I was privileged to review the first book , Sins of a Virgin , and was impressed with the Ms. Randol’s writing style as well as her vibrant characters and clever dialogue. Sins of a Ruthless Rogue is Cipher’s story and this time the author takes the readers on an exciting journey to St. Petersburg, Russia.

Clayton Campbell is exactly what his country made of him. A ruthless man who will destroy anyone that gets in his way. Years ago, he was condemned as a traitor and sentenced to hang for another persons crime. Now he’s back and out for revenge against those who betrayed him. As a young girl , Olivia betrayed the boy she loved. By the sin of omission she let him be blamed for her own father’s crime. Just as Clayton is set to destroy all that she loves Olivia is mistaken for a spy and kidnapped by political zealots. Even though Clayton is angry at Olivia he wastes no time in racing to her rescue her from danger.

I liked the characters even more in this second book. The intriguing Clayton was dark and dangerous… the perfect hero. Olivia was a spunky heroine who owned her mistakes and tried to make up for them. This story was more action packed than the first one and seemed to move at a super fast pace. Readers who are paying extra attention may catch a glimpse of whats to come in the third and final book of this series. At least I hope so because I’m breathlessly awaiting the enigmatic Ian’s story. I’ll give this book four stars and gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a historical romance filled with suspense and intrigue.

IS IT LUST?

Ivak Sigurdsson is dead…well, sort of. Guilty of the sin of lust, he’s been given an unusual penance: spend eternity as a Viking Vampire Angel, or Vangel, fighting Lucipires, Satan’s vampire demons on earth. Now sequestered in Angola Prison as a “spiritual advisor,” Ivak is finding all these centuries of celibacy depressing, to say the least. But then, along comes southern belle Gabrielle Sonnier. Is she a reward for his good deeds, or a temptation sent to rattle his lustsome brain?

OR IS IT LOVE?

Gabrielle, a lawyer, begs Ivak to help get her brother out of prison. Aided by the Cajun LeDeux family and their chief looney bird, Tante Lulu, Ivak reluctantly agrees. And while he alternately tries to seduce and save Gabrielle before the Lucipires run rampant, they both begin to wonder if it’s really only lust, or something more.

What do you get when you mix a matchmaking Cajun ninety year old lady named Tante Lulu with a Viking vampire angel and a sex deprived lawyer? A very entertaining read and it’s all found in Ms. Hill’s latest masterpiece, Kiss of Temptation .

It is cheap but not discount viagra pharmacy a low working medicine. The negotiation cialis 10mg canada process can go a long way provided the seller has enough time at his disposal. With Ms. Hill’s Cajun romances, Tante Lulu was always there as not only an effective stirrer of the plot using charming hijinks, but her character was always a guarantee that there’d be laughter at the most unexpected times. Imagine my delighted shock when I found out that this author, with her knack of tickling the most stubborn funny bone, decided to toss in a little of that generational humor and a lavender ‘longcar’ towards a hapless Viking whose sin was lust.

The author set up the story by first giving a reader insight as to the worst possible outcome of unbridled lust. There are consequences and Ivak learned it the hard way. And he’s still learning. Although the hero tries to walk the straight and narrow, he has too much naughty humor and tactless quips to share that drive the warden of the prison nuts. He’s wise to the world and yet all his experience hasn’t taught him how to deal with real emotions, true feelings and the difference between love and lust. In this book, he figures it out. His journey is well worth reading.

Gabrielle is a woman on the edge of despair. She’s worked so hard to help her brother be released from prison. When I first met her in the story, I got the impression that she was starting to see enemies and liars in every corner, that everyone was a foe – which is the beginning of the end of hope. However, she made one last stab at trusting a person and that choice opened up whole new avenues and adventures. In fact, I think she not only ended up finding true love, but she found a family and a sense of belonging that totally filled the dark spaces in her heart that she didn’t know she had. The things that Ms. Hill had her do to realize both being in love and being loved is what made this novel so fun to read. One of the more amazing things is the heroine finding out that who she viewed as a person being profoundly against her ended up being one of her most fervent supporters – in a quiet sort of way. It was that tying up of an emotional loose end that made me appreciate Ms. Hill’s storytelling talent all over again. The author has the ability to throw something innocuous at a reader in the beginning without us ever knowing how large a role it would eventually play. Those are cool surprises.

Jasper, the villain and sexual sadist, is back. Hugs to Ms. Hill for giving me just enough detail and descriptions to make me squirm in discomfort, but not enough gross stuff to make me want to walk away from the book. The villain is not a redeemable character and that belief is reinforced in each book of the series. He’s vile, twisted and a major pain in the Vangels’ very delicious tushes. His minions are disgusting and equally perverse but rest assured, once again, good triumphs over evil. Mostly.

As much as I enjoyed and was entertained by the novel as a whole, there were a couple of parts that seemed rushed. There were some minor conflicts that came across as being too easily solved and Ivak’s path seemed smoothed over by the lack of detail and closure. It was like a narrator came in to hurry the characters along so readers could get to the good stuff – the romance. I’m not complaining because I really liked the ‘good stuff’, but, I did notice the change in storytelling. I can even understand the why of it because if the author delved too much into those scenes and let them lead her, I suppose the book would then have been more about the conflict itself than the romance between Ivak and Gabrielle. Another thing that struck me as ‘off’ was the guard. Ivak and his nose should have figured out long before what he was. Heck, even his brethren should have gotten a whiff. But none of them did. It allowed for a conflict to occur that I guess was integral to the story, but I don’t believe for one minute that they couldn’t have averted that particular situation. I think that was the only truly weak point in the whole book.

Once again, St. Michael the Archangel is on stage and I loved how Ms. Hill had him be …wrong. It reinforces the understanding that angels, even an Archangel, are messengers, helpers and interpreters of God. They are NOT God however because only He knows everything. Which means St. Michael got a shock of his own. Not only was it adorable but it provided another fascinating aspect of Vangel life. I have to wonder though, what’s next?

Secondary characters abound in this novel and they contribute flavor, ambiance, plot hilarity and surprises. All of them enhance the romance growing between Ivak and Gabrielle and it’s all good.

Don’t resist reading a Kiss of Temptation because if you do, you’ll be missing out on a fun adventure of romance and mayhem from the talented Ms. Hill. There is so much to like and enjoy that I could not cover it all in this review. I didn’t even get to cover the naughty dream sequences! Check out for yourself why I believe books by this author are worth spending time with. Bet they’ll make you smile.

Ms. Long writes a wonderfully rich world where a hedge witch is just another part of the world to those in the know. She spends her time healing the earth and helping with the harvest, so everyone assumes she’s weak, but Chance is an incredibly complex character that is easy to fall in love with and root for. The rituals and rules of the world are all fleshed out nicely, and the mystery and suspense of this action packed story keeps the story moving along quickly. This isn’t a romance, there is no happily ever after between Chance and Jack, thought their friendship remains strong, and there is this thread of sexual tension between them that just amps up the story.

The first person can be hard for some to pull off well, and I will admit I’m very picky about mine. However, Ms. Long pens Chance’s voice in such a way that you become so immersed in the world and how she sees it that the first person just adds another layer to this multi layered and colorful story.

While Chance may spend her time with fairies and blessing fields, she’s still a very strong witch and it’s easy to see how everyone could underestimate her. My only complaint for this story, if I can even call it that, is that I wanted more. I want more adventures with Chance and hopefully more appearances from Jack and maybe even some of the lovely cast of characters that add to and enrich Chance’s life.

If you love action packed Urban Fantasy with a mystery that keeps you guessing right up until the end, you need to pick up this book. Soon you’ll be waiting for more Chance Monroe books just as anxiously as I am.

At the King’s request, chieftain Alasdair MacDonald has sworn to preserve the peace in the Glen of Many Legends. Though he’s handsome and fearless, his warrior’s heart belongs only to his beloved land—until the fair sister of his oldest enemy shatters his defenses, branding his skin with a single touch, and sealing his fate with one stolen kiss . . .

Lady Marjory Mackintosh will do anything to unite the warring clans, even seduce Alasdair MacDonald. She has loved the rugged Highlander since she first saw him and now, as temptation leads to surrender, Marjory dares to possess him, body and soul. But a dangerous new menace enters the Glen, and he will stop at nothing to strip Alasdair of his honor—and the only woman who can claim his heart.

The Highland faeries must be on the side of love for it to find its way among so much anger, so many grudges, so much greed, and need for revenge.

The lore of ancient Scotland with its ghosts, magic, and superstitions plus Ms. Welfonder’s graphic descriptions of the bleak, cold, stony peaks of far-north Scotland with winds that cry and howl, rain that chills, and mists that swirling like ghosts in motion lures the reader in for a vicarious experience with fourteenth-century Scots who are rather like mirror images of their environment—harsh, volatile, and threatening. But like the weather they can change in a moment and be as wonderful as a beautiful sun-bright day. There seems to be no in-between, all things are extreme.

Three strong women put into action their plan to secure peace for The Glen of Many Legends. Two-thirds of the plan has been successful, but Marjory Mackintosh has yet to succeed in her part of the plan. Alasdair MacDonald is a hard man to seduce, especially since he and her brother Kendrew are enemies. These two men are just one step this side of being barbarians when they are in each other’s presence.

The smart, resourceful Marjory has outfoxed her brother up to now in his efforts to marry her off to a powerful Viking that will strengthen his clan’s ties to their Norse kin. She wants to marry for love and the chieftain of Blackshore Castle, Alasdair MacDonald, is the love of her life. She wears the MacDonald amber around her neck that came to her by way of Isobel, her sister-in-law who received them from Catriona, Alasdair’s sister. If their plan works, Marjory will wed Alasdair and the legendary amber will be back where it belongs, with the MacDonald.

Hella, that Marjory and Isobel go to see, adds a hint of magic as she interprets the dream Marjory had about her part in a Viking funeral ritual—a scary experience. Her interpretation does not ease Marjory’s mind.

Alasdair MacDonald tells himself he is not superstitious. Of course, he does feel the magic of Mist-Chaser, his sword, that is embellished with ambers and he feels the glen is TOO quiet. Moreover, he is sure it’s just the mist and fog that looks like a ghost beckoning him but he goes anyway to see if there is threatening danger approaching by sea.

After being away for months, Alasdair is determined to secure his clan’s hold on their heritage at all cost. However, another need plagues him. His all consuming desire for Marjory Mackintosh has killed his interest in all other women and makes him frustrated, unsettled, and unreasonably angry. The thought of a Viking’s hands on her makes him murderous. Besides that, the MacDonald amber around her neck seem to call him to her.

The ghosts of Drangar the Strong and Seona watch over and nudge their descendants in the right direction when possible. Their insubstantial forms thwart their efforts but they persevere. The subtle humor Drangar furnishes is, indeed, great comic relief and the lovely twist in his and Seona’s relationship late in the story is delightful.

The extreme anger that erupts so often and the harsh words spoken seem a little over done, but the secretive doings of Vikings, ghosts, as wells those of the Scots keep the story moving apace. Of course, the inner thoughts of the hero and heroine let the reader in on the emotional turmoil that comes with thwarted love.

Sue-Ellen Welfonder takes the reader away from the mundane and gives her an emotional journey that floods the senses and makes the heart pound with both hope and fear. If you have read previous books in the series, you will get to catch up with old acquaintances as they are quite active as secondary characters in Seduction of a Highland Warrior. This one kept me up late and was worth every minute.
