Business mogul Blake Greystoke thinks he’s too old for the one woman who makes his heart skip a beat. But when he finds out she’s going on a sensual, online reality show, he throws caution to the wind for a chance to win her heart, and make his dreams of a family with her come true.

Will the steamy, reality live-stream bring them a happily ever after, or tear them apart?

Lissa had worked diligently for Blake Greystoke for ten years, and despite her best efforts the man had barely noticed her, let alone shown any sexual interest. Determined to move on, she signs up to an exclusive billionaire club where an anonymous member bids automatically on her to help her lose her virginity. Lissa is determined to keep her secrets – but Blake has a few of his own too.

I found this to be a fun and sexy short story. While I found the auction part of the plot fairly predictable I really enjoyed that so much of Lissa’s past and the dating site she and Blake used to come together was really quite different and fresh to me. Even though it’s made clear from the start that Lissa has been in love with Blake for years and years, they are sexually intimate very quickly in the story. There are plenty of really modern/different elements in the story – particularly related to the auction site, things like live-streaming plenty of the sexual experiences of the virgins, and the tattoo that’s part of the contract they sign.

A lot of the romantic and emotional connections though are far more down to earth and relatable, I feel. I really enjoyed Zane’s character – Lissa’s best friend – and how he worked both Lissa and Blake and helped bring them together. I also thought Lissa’s past was both interesting and a good element to cut some of the over-the-top aspect to the sex and auction website. While I found the perspective swapping through the chapters (from Blake’s perspective to Lissa’s) made the book as a whole feel a little choppy to me, I can completely understand why the author did this. Not being able to see things from Blake’s perspective would have made it a lot harder for me as a reader to comprehend his genuine feelings or understand where Blake was coming from throughout a lot of the story. This head hopping was definitely needed in my opinion, but it made the story feel slightly disjointed (to me at least) at the same time.

The sex was steamy hot and I really loved how Blake and Lissa both loved each other very much and didn’t just want the sex itself or the baby they were trying to conceive. While definitely heavy on the eroticism this was also a story about two people in love – and that was the romantic part of the story that I really enjoyed the most. With some interesting characters, a complicated history and an extremely modern take on dating – this is a surprisingly different story that I feel a lot of readers should enjoy.

“But it’s glorious while it lasts.” He kissed my neck, just below my ear, and I shivered in his arms. “And one of these days we’re going to find a way to make it work.”

When they meet up again at the company Christmas party, can things finally change for the better?

I was surprised by just how much I really enjoyed this short story. Part espionage thriller, part sexy romance I found this story ticked a lot of good boxes for me. I liked the action/adventure in it and something about Mikael and Silvi’s fly-in-fly-out romance came across to me as dashing and sexy – not cold as I was scared it might. It’s clear to my mind from their chemistry and the fact they both want to change their relationship that their feeling are both genuine and deep – but life and circumstances keep conspiring to keep them apart.

There were a few twists in the story that I felt really made the whole thing worthwhile (and I’d totally read the hell out of a story about Silvi’s mother – now THERE is a lady who has a few wild tales to tell!) and the whole thing just left me feeling happy and good. While part of the story is set around Christmas-time there’s not much of a Christmassy feel to the story to my mind. Readers who are after a heavy-duty Christmas story mightn’t find this fit’s their bill – but for readers looking for a sexy, world-travelling, happy and vibrant story, I feel this will absolutely live up to their expectations.

Part spy-thriller part sexy romance I really enjoyed this short story.

Bleu knew Grey was quite arrogant and took Bleu for granted, but it didn’t change his feelings for Grey. Even though Bleu knew Grey wasn’t interested in him, the two men remain in each others lives, until one passionate afternoon changes everything between them.

I found this to be an interesting and at times bittersweet story. Grey is a difficult character – complicated and layered. He was hard for me to grasp at times. I was really pleased the author showed a few of the sections from Grey’s perspective as this really helped me work out where Grey was coming from and understand that he wasn’t quite how he portrayed himself to others. I really empathized at times with Bleu, especially in his longing for Grey and how Grey seemed to treat him so poorly in return. While I was glad there was a solid explanation behind it I never really felt fully on board with how Grey treated Bleu in the past before they deepened their relationship.

I’ve not read many werewolf and omega style stories so the world and paranormal settings came across to me as fresh and interesting. I thought the author did a good job balancing the world information-dumping and progress of Grey and Bleu’s emotional and romantic relationship. Grey’s mean behavior aside I thought the plot moved forward fast enough to retain the reader’s interest but slow enough it never felt like the two men were just racing directly for the bedroom with no connection between them

The final sex scene is fairly intense and while it’s certainly erotic and thrilling I’m not sure it will be every reader’s cup of tea. The binding/knotting ritualistic side to Grey and Bleu’s new romance was certainly eye-opening for me and quite a different reading experience.

Sexy and very descriptive, I found this to be an intense short story. I enjoyed the world building and came to appreciate the differences in the two main characters.

Can a wealthy but bored businessman rescue a tortured musician from his self-imposed purgatory with a scorching kinky romance?

When Rene Conette attends an intimate performance at a local bar, the guitarist moves him enough that he attempts to go backstage but is stymied by the man’s bodyguard. Putting it down as not meant to be, he goes on with his life only to run into the man again, late at night at a bookstore.

Gavin Turner used to be a famous musician until an obsessed fan kidnapped and tortured him. Then it came out that he was into the BDSM lifestyle, and the court of public opinion ravaged him. He lost his Master and his self-confidence. Now he hides behind his ink and his bodyguards, who make sure he doesn’t come into contact with anyone or anything he doesn’t want to. Though it’s been years since he satisfied his needs, he doesn’t think he can trust again.

If Rene can work his way past Gavin’s defenses, they might find they complement each other perfectly.

Rene was a man used to getting his own way and with plenty of money to back his desires up. After getting a tip, he discovers an unusually talented musician in a tiny club and is astonished when not only is he not introduced to this intriguing man, but Rene is summarily turned away. Gavin had worked hard to get his life to where he could cope. A complicated man, the musician doesn’t take his talent or life for granted. But Rene isn’t a man used to being told no and Gavin doesn’t really want to turn the sexy man away.

I really enjoyed this emotional story. Gavin had been brutally hurt in the past and I was pleased the author managed to strongly convey that without being too graphic or overly descriptive about it. It helped me understand much of Gavin’s reticence and self-imposed hermitage, but also explained the slower pace of the romance that blossomed between Gavin and Rene. A fast, wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am style of romance would have been completely at odds with the complicated and hurtful past that Gavin had. I also was really impressed with the gradual learning of Gavin and his history – there was no massive info-dump and so as Rene pieced things together so did I as a reader. I felt this helped both progress the plot and relationship between the two men, but more importantly kept the pace fast enough to retain my interest but slow enough that it didn’t feel to me like they were forced or rushed into anything.

The sex was steamy, fairly kinky and really well written. Sean Michael does kink superlatively in my opinion and I really loved how in this story there’s a really lovely balance between the kink and deep emotional connection between Gavin and Rene. I felt the level of trust the two men built was really complimented by their shared attraction to the BDSM lifestyle and while they didn’t jump right into the deep end with whips and chains, there was always that chemistry and smaller aspects from the beginning between them (Gavin calling Rene “sir” a few times unconsciously, or Rene calling Gavin a “beautiful bottom boy” as a strong compliment). The understanding was there like a live electrical current between them, but there was no rush to jump right in and I enjoyed watching the relationship – sexual and emotional – grow and deepen.

A strong story with some really interesting secondary characters (I would adore a threesome story or sequel revolving around Dev and Silas) and a bucket load of emotion, this is a great full length read. I will be happily going back to this story for many a re-read in the future.

The last thing he needs is an optimistic, chatty, adorable pixie distracting him at work, but she can’t seem to understand that he wants to be left alone.

What neither realize is that earlier that evening, Lucas had washed down his dinner with a magical beer that will guide him toward his true love. The abominable accountant and the merry marketing manager are about to prove that opposites do attract and St. Patrick’s Day really is the best day to fall in love.

After being forced to take a week of his annual leave, Lucas returns to his desk annoyed and dismayed to find it a complete disaster. A troll, Lucas is not exactly one for fine speeches or flowering phrase – but he sure knows his work and how to jump into action when it’s needed. Cait – a pixie who works in the marketing department – is everything Lucas isn’t. Perpetually sunny and happy, Cait is the opposite to Lucas in every way. But when they both are working late on St. Patrick’s Day there’s more than a little leprechaun magic shimmering in the air.

I really enjoyed this magical short story. Set around St. Patrick’s Day there was a good amount of magic (love potions!) and magical creatures (trolls and pixies!) and of course beer. I can’t imagine anything more is needed to round out an awesome erotic story. I was particularly pleased that Cait and Lucas didn’t just jump right into bed together. As such complete opposites personality wise – and with no history of mooning over each other – I don’t feel it would have been very realistic even with a magic potion thrown into the equation to have them suddenly decide one night to become sexually intimate. So seeing them interact and being able to notice those small sparks of attraction it was good to get a feel for them both before the potion started its effect.

While there is plenty of chemistry – and a few steamy fantasies thrown in for good measure – there is only one proper, full-on sex scene in this short story. Speaking personally I was quite comfortable with this. I appreciated seeing Lucas and Cait interact together as this helped me see that there was relationship potential between them – not just a quick drunken St. Patrick’s Day shag. I could understand, though, if readers looking for a strongly erotic, heavily sexy story might find this a little light in the sex department. I thought the author balanced the relationship and connection between Lucas and Cait very well and felt there was plenty of chemistry and attraction – certainly enough to keep me eagerly turning the pages.

Quick and fun, this was a great short story.

Good thing they have enough attraction to keep them going, even when everything else is going off the tracks.

After losing his brother in their last mission, Tuck and his team of shifters have been unwillingly put on a leave of absence and tension is running high in them all. When Tuck discovers that he’s been given a new team-member and things begin to go balls up from the very beginning he and Jayden are going to have to learn very quickly to trust each other. Can they each survive what lies ahead?

I found this to be a really fresh and interesting story. With a small group of complicated and unique shifter characters making up the team and all of them having big personalities I found this story engrossing almost from the very beginning. With far more action and intrigue than I’m used to in my erotic romance stories I also deeply appreciated the complicated plot and was eagerly turning the pages way past my bed-time wanting to know what happened next. The classic “just a few more pages” turned into a very early morning because I simply couldn’t put it down.

The sex between Tuck and Jayden was hot and steamy – but I really loved the build up and chemistry/tension between them that happened before they hit the sheets. While the whole “hearing each other’s thoughts” thing seemed fairly straightforward and obvious to me, I understood pretty quickly that it wasn’t common – indeed was thought of as a bit of a joke/legend – in the paranormal world within this story. So that helped me understand why Tuck and Jayden were so puzzled.

With steamy chemistry, quite a bit of action and adventure and a whole group of new and interesting characters I am definitely looking forward to more stories in this series. I can’t recall the last time I stayed up well into the early morning with a book, and this is definitely one I will be re-reading in the near future. Action, sexy shenanigans and loads of fun characters, this was a great short story and I am eager for more.

Allan Winters knows he shouldn’t hire Candice. He can’t deny the sexual attraction between them. She might not be the most qualified candidate, but she’s determined to learn and eager to please. Will hiring her be a fatal mistake, or the best decision he’s ever made?

Candice figured that going to a pub to madly cram for her job interview the following day at a brewery was a good idea. But she gets dejected as she realizes there’s simply too much information to push into her head in one evening. Luckily, Allan stops by her table and starts chatting to her. While Candice has no intention of flirting or being sidetracked, when Allan points out he’s helped hire a number of staff and worked many years ago in a brewery she figures that he can certainly help – and be easy on her eyes at the same time. When Allan turns up at the interview the following day, Candice doesn’t know whether to be outraged or humiliated. Can they make a go of things?

I found this to be an interesting but very predictably plotted story. Despite the smooth comfort of being able to guess certain major plot points before they occurred, I still found Candice’s character – and to a lesser extent Allan’s, too – to be interesting and imminently relatable. For me, personally, being able to symapthise with Candice’s struggle to spread her wings and find a new job for herself really was the saving grace of this story for me. The steamy sex helped sway me into enjoying this short story, too.

I was pleased that Allan and Candice didn’t simply jump into bed immediately with each other – it helped make the whole “boss and secretary crossing the ethical business line” thing feel a whole lot more believable and relatable to me. They each tried for quite some time to keep their relationship strictly professional. I was also pleased that while the author made it clear they were keeping things at a business level, much of the time between Candice getting hired and them deepening their relationship was jumped over off-screen. This kept the pace moving along well to my mind and helped not drag out the story too much.

With some interesting chemistry, steamy hot sex and a group of interesting secondary characters, this was a great short story that really delivered. I enjoyed watching Candice and Allan come together and feel plenty of readers will be interested in checking out what I assume are other stories in this series related to the group of Candice’s friends. I thought this was a solid short story.

Drill is called to the shifter rescue centre by his good friend when they rescue a dragon and no one is quite sure how to handle him. Drill and Az get along splendidly from the start, but can two such very different people find common ground to make things work?

I enjoyed this short and sexy shifter story. Set in a paranormal world that’s slightly different I was really pleased the author spent a little time in the beginning easing the reader in to understand and explore the world and how the shifters fit into it. While the chemistry sizzles immediately between Drill and Az, they don’t get right into it immediately and I was personally pleased about that – it left me more time to get a feel for the characters and world they inhabited.

When Drill and Az do become intimate though, the heat crackles right off the page. I loved not only the intensity between the two men, but there was so much tender care, too. For such a short story the author really managed to put an enormous amount of emotional connection between the men. I found myself enthralled by both Drill and Az learning about each other and exploring the boundaries of their new relationship.

Short, sexy and just a little bit fiery, this was a lovely quick read – full of interesting characters and some steamy hot sex. A great short story.

Even though the gorgeous brunette had no idea of how deeply he loved her, Roman had to continually remind himself she was a client and thus off limits. And then one Valentine’s day everything changes.

This is an enjoyable short story with two modern, interesting and relatable characters. I have to admit that found the plotline surrounding Zoe, her fiancé and Roman very predictable. It was still quite enjoyable – but there wasn’t really anything different about that aspect of the story. What I did really enjoy was Roman’s clear and deep infatuation with Zoe. They really seemed to connect and be friends – not just attracted to each other – and watching them both try to come together and change the dynamics of their friendship and relationship was really interesting and kept me reading along happily.

Even though Zoe and Roman take their time to come together, when they finally are intimate it’s a lovely, sizzling sex scene. Readers who prefer a sweeter romance might find this a little too spicy for them – but I personally found the scene to be tastefully and well written. The sex is graphically written but not kinky or unconventional. More importantly in my opinion, both Zoe and Roman were both finally on the same page in their attraction to each other and this scene felt to me like the modern consummation of that fact.

I enjoyed both Zoe and Roman’s characters and while there wasn’t anything too unique in the plot or their circumstances I found this a lovely way to spend a lazy afternoon. Readers who enjoy a spicy and emotional story should find this quick read suits their purposes.

Can Denim banish the evil spirit haunting Danny’s store and save Danny’s Christmas? Danny sure hopes so, especially after he meets the handsome medium.

Danny loved his book store and found genuine pleasure in his work – but the lead up to Christmas was a madhouse of long days and a lot of exhaustion. After nearly two weeks of fourteen hour work days, Danny isn’t in the mood to be harassed by the ghost that he knows shares the space with his book store. For eight years Danny and the ghost have co-existed in peace, but when the spirit becomes violent and aggressive Danny knows he has to do something. Denim comes to help Danny with his problems, but can they both find something more this Christmas time?

This is a really fun and different Christmas story. While I enjoyed the ghostly aspect to it – I personally really loved the connection between Danny and Denim and loved the setting of the used book store. I was a little surprised to find a few typo’s had been missed by the editors (Denim was Demin three times throughout the short story) but that was just a small blip on my enjoyment of the story. Overall I really liked the set up of the story and found the chemistry between Danny and Denim to be lovely. The sexy shenanigans added a good bit of heat to the story and there was just enough paranormal plot to make the book interesting and different to me.

The pace of the whole story is fairly quick, but at no stage did I feel like Danny and Denim were shortchanged. Indeed, their romance moving along at a quick clip helped me get a good feel for what their relationship together in the future would probably look like and I really enjoyed that.

Readers looking for a Christmassy, sexy and sensual read – with a ghostly book store thrown in as a bonus – can’t go past this short story as far as I’m concerned. A great, quick read.
