Archangel Gabriel is sent to Earth in human form to keep a woman, Zippy, safe for the next thirty-three days. He’s not told why, only that he must protect her. He finds his job is more difficult than he imagined, Gabriel has to watch over Zippy without falling in love with her. But when Zippy ends up in his arms there’s only so much an angel can do.

A girl, a holiday and an archangel?

It could happen. In 33 Days ‘Til Christmas, it does.

I liked this story because it’s not long, but it’s packed with details and the story moved along nicely. The author has penned a cute story with a great ending that kept me turning pages and needing to know what would happen next. I loved it.

Zippy has what could be considered almost too positive an attitude. She just wants to be happy, in spite of everything. I liked her and her attitude. I also liked the way Gabriel showed up in her life. He’s a bit caveman at times, but the super alpha-ness of him was fun. He knew how to take care of her (okay, with a little help). It was good reading and they have great chemistry. Yes, this story happens fast – 33 Days – but it works.

If you’re looking for a cute little Christmas in July or Christmas at any time story, then you can’t go wrong with this one. Check it out! Recommended.

“Why do we do this?”

“But it’s glorious while it lasts.” He kissed my neck, just below my ear, and I shivered in his arms. “And one of these days we’re going to find a way to make it work.”

“Liar,” I shot back. But it was Christmas. And I wanted to believe…

Mikael and Silvi had a complicated and steamy history – but when he is sent to evacuate her from a quickly deteriorating political situation Silvi has to admit Mikael had saved her; again. Every time the two of them get together the sparks fly – but they live such completely different lives, they never seem to be able to do more than steal a single night together before each going along their own trajectory. When they meet up again at the company Christmas party, can things finally change for the better?

I was surprised by just how much I really enjoyed this short story. Part espionage thriller, part sexy romance I found this story ticked a lot of good boxes for me. I liked the action/adventure in it and something about Mikael and Silvi’s fly-in-fly-out romance came across to me as dashing and sexy – not cold as I was scared it might. It’s clear to my mind from their chemistry and the fact they both want to change their relationship that their feeling are both genuine and deep – but life and circumstances keep conspiring to keep them apart.

There were a few twists in the story that I felt really made the whole thing worthwhile (and I’d totally read the hell out of a story about Silvi’s mother – now THERE is a lady who has a few wild tales to tell!) and the whole thing just left me feeling happy and good. While part of the story is set around Christmas-time there’s not much of a Christmassy feel to the story to my mind. Readers who are after a heavy-duty Christmas story mightn’t find this fit’s their bill – but for readers looking for a sexy, world-travelling, happy and vibrant story, I feel this will absolutely live up to their expectations.

Part spy-thriller part sexy romance I really enjoyed this short story.

One spirit actually turns out to be two, one of whom isn’t all happiness and light.

Can Denim banish the evil spirit haunting Danny’s store and save Danny’s Christmas? Danny sure hopes so, especially after he meets the handsome medium.

Danny loved his book store and found genuine pleasure in his work – but the lead up to Christmas was a madhouse of long days and a lot of exhaustion. After nearly two weeks of fourteen hour work days, Danny isn’t in the mood to be harassed by the ghost that he knows shares the space with his book store. For eight years Danny and the ghost have co-existed in peace, but when the spirit becomes violent and aggressive Danny knows he has to do something. Denim comes to help Danny with his problems, but can they both find something more this Christmas time?

This is a really fun and different Christmas story. While I enjoyed the ghostly aspect to it – I personally really loved the connection between Danny and Denim and loved the setting of the used book store. I was a little surprised to find a few typo’s had been missed by the editors (Denim was Demin three times throughout the short story) but that was just a small blip on my enjoyment of the story. Overall I really liked the set up of the story and found the chemistry between Danny and Denim to be lovely. The sexy shenanigans added a good bit of heat to the story and there was just enough paranormal plot to make the book interesting and different to me.

The pace of the whole story is fairly quick, but at no stage did I feel like Danny and Denim were shortchanged. Indeed, their romance moving along at a quick clip helped me get a good feel for what their relationship together in the future would probably look like and I really enjoyed that.

Readers looking for a Christmassy, sexy and sensual read – with a ghostly book store thrown in as a bonus – can’t go past this short story as far as I’m concerned. A great, quick read.

Finally screwing up his courage – and upset to be alone over the Christmas holidays – Jon decides to ask Nic out. Only Nic isn’t what he appears to be. Can Jon and Nic work out a Christmas miracle between them?

I enjoyed this quick short story. While a lot of the plot fell into pattern I recognized easily, I was thrilled that there were still a few twists that I thoroughly enjoyed watching play out. I feel readers will need to suspend their disbelief quite a bit, but the happiness of the story and the warm-fuzzies that I got from Jon and Nic making new traditions and coming together for Christmas was well worth it to my mind. I thought the conflict between Nic and Jon was very understandable, but I was still a little disappointed that it felt a bit clichéd to me. While it certainly added to the drama and tension of the story I have to admit I was enjoying the happy, Christmassy and wishful feeling the short story had encompassed up to that point.

With plenty of magic, Christmas wishes and festive warmth, I found this to be a lovely short story and a good read. I was very pleased with the happy ending and found the chemistry and attraction between Jon and Nic to be intense and lovely. A good, Christmassy read.

When a Christmas shopping expedition brings Tomy Peralta into Jason Winters’s yarn store, both men feel an immediate and intense spark of attraction, but dance instructor Tomy intends to propose to his boyfriend, Sean, at Christmas. Unfortunately for Tomy, marriage isn’t on career-minded Sean’s agenda. Heartbroken, Tomy throws himself into his work until his mother convinces him that learning to knit might help take his mind off his failed romance.

Just when it seems Tomy is ready for a new romance, Sean shows up, wanting Tomy back. Will Tomy give his heart to Sean once more, or will Tomy finally see Sean for who he truly is, and choose the man who helped him knit his heart together again?

Tomy had big plans for Christmas and while shopping in the kitting store for his mother and sister he met Jason. Heartbroken when his boyfriend runs off to be famous in Hollywood, Tomy feels completely at a loss. Gently bullied by his mother, Tomy starts attending the monthly stitching classes at Jason’s shop. Even though progress for Tomy is slow, he and Jason together start to work on his first knitting project, and in the process try to heal his heart.

I really enjoyed this story – finding it both sweet and romantic. I loved that the pace of the story was slow, giving it a slightly older feel. This isn’t a “their eyes connected and they jumped into bed” style of story – so erotic readers looking for something with a ton of spice and sex might not find this suits their tastes. Personally, I enjoyed the gradual progression from acquaintances, to friends, to lovers. The emotional connection and strength of friendship between Tomy and Jason really helped sell this whole story to me and gave it a warmth that I just loved.

While the story does start (and end) around Christmas-time it’s not a strong theme throughout the whole story. The healing and slowly growing relationship between Tomy and Jason – along with their dance lessons and knitting lessons are really what’s central to the story. With a strong supporting cast of characters – predominantly Tomy’s family – this had very much the feel of a small-town romance style of story to me. I loved that the slower pace really let us get to know both Tomy and Jason’s characters and the slow burn between them was a pleasure to watch. When they finally did get together I found it hot and sexy, the chemistry intense and completely believable from all the groundwork that had been laid.

With vibrant and interesting characters, tons of chemistry and a really solid plotline this was a great story and one I really enjoyed. Recommended.
