Okay, so I was excited about Jackson’s book. I loved the romance of the story. I liked that there was some family drama thrown in for the two of them and how they supported each other. I loved the steamy love scenes. The sexual chemistry was great, so the heat level was scorching. With some help from Jackson, Mia discovers that she is a naughty girl. There was nothing vanilla about the love scenes. Oh yeah, they were plenty dirty with lots of kinky stuff going on. They played around with some anal, spanking, toys and voyeurism. Yet, even as the relationship heats up, Jackson had to work hard to convince Mia that what they had was the real thing. It was nice catching up with the characters from the previous books in the series. I enjoyed the chuckles when the crew got together. I have to put this out there too and hope that what I’m thinking is true. Just so you know …. a rowdy new crew came to town in this book. I was intrigued by these guys. Could a new series be just around the corner ? I hope so.

I enjoyed the heck out of this book. I sincerely think other readers will too. So I’ll be giving it a big recommendation.

She knows how to create snappy, playful dialogue that propels the plot forward, and her descriptions were so vivid that I felt as if I was experiencing this story firsthand. The background information in particular make me wish for a sequel. While I don’t know if the author is planning to revisit these characters I’d be quite interested in hearing more from them in the future.

Captive Pleasures is a good choice for anyone in the mood for a short, hot romp. I would especially recommend it for readers trying to stay warm this cold, lonely winter.

It would have been nice to see the side of him that initially attracted Sasha in order to understand why they’ve remained together for so many years.

They appear just often enough to whet my appetite for what Sasha hopes she will find if her mission is successful.

During the first half of the book I kept wishing I knew more about The Phantom’s origins. What Sasha discovers propels the plot forward, and while I would have liked to learn more I understand why the author made certain decisions about what she did and did not include in this particular subplot. It would be really interesting to read a sequel to this story, though, and I hope Ms. Leveret considers writing it.

The Phantom is a good choice for anyone in the mood for a mixed genre story that is as erotic as it is entertaining.

Overall, it’s a well written enjoyable BDSM tale, and I really felt the depth and love between Adam and Beth. I also enjoyed the extra drama and suspense of the plot point with the ghosts of Adam’s past coming back to haunt them. To top it off Ms. Sinclair can write a hot sex scene that enhances the story, and I found myself very much enjoying every part of this story. She includes some sexual themes that pushed my comfort soon but with the way that Ms. Sinclair wrote them I found them very hot.

This is a ménage storyline, but Vance and Galen aren’t involved sexually and I found the way that they handled the relationship very believable. They fought, they had misunderstandings, and they made up like any couple would, they just had the extra component of there being three of them.

I enjoyed catching up with past characters and even spending some time with past characters privately too. I highly recommend this story for fans of both romantic suspense and BDSM romance. I also recommend the whole Shadowlands series.

This story was bittersweet for me. I love that Dale is a virgin in every sense both to the BDSM scene as well as physically. Lee seems to be the type of man that can really introduce him to both in a well meaning way. Lee shows a tenderness that I appreciated even if he is a Dom. What puzzled me a bit was the way the relationship seem to move so fast. To me it doesn’t seem like a 21 year old virgin would put out on the first date. I just didn’t feel the chemistry to constitute such a huge jump into bed. Additionally, I would have also liked to see some of the tenderness I recognized in Lee better shown in the bedroom. He isn’t aggressive or rough with Dale, but I felt like he should have been more tuned  in to Dale’s needs or wants and made sure they both where on the same page. While it was by no means a bad story, a few tweaks would have made it an awesome story.

This was an interesting story to say the least. Andrew had fantasized about his teacher all through school, and now as a man the fantasies seem to be more vivid. So when given the chance to be Mr. Czarneki’s pet for the night Andrew will bend over backwards. I found the “play” very exciting. I have never read a story about BDSM based off of being a pet, but I found it entertaining. I would have liked to have seen a bit more understanding or discussion about what each person expected in the scene. Usually they have a talk about limits or safe words or something to avoid confusion but other than that I found it entertaining.

Campaigning for the Billionaire by Noelle Keaton

This story was intriguing from beginning to end. Dylan and Charlie’s relationship seems genuine, both professionally and personally. Dylan has a pure heart and it is clear that Charlie can see it and appreciates Dylan for who he truly is. I love that the author was even able to incorporate a good conflict.  I can see myself reading this story again when I just need to take a break and smile for a moment.

Date with a Stranger by Pelaam

This was a lovely story that had a few extra unexpected twists. Though I found the focus on money and the finer things in life a bit distracting I really enjoyed the development between Cassidy and Jeff. I think that this story touched me in a way the others didn’t because you can tell how much these two really cared for one another and couldn’t seem to keep their hands to themselves.

We catch up with past couples and characters and there are unique challenges to Dizzy and Venom’s relationship but overall they easily and quickly fell in love and definitely mesh well together. The world is so well built that I felt like I was right there on the Valiant experiencing it all.

I think this story could be read by itself but since I enjoy this entire series, I’m going to recommend starting at the beginning. It’s a lush world with a lot of sexy scenes because of the way that sky warriors live in their culture. Ms. Lopez does a great job of integrating the sex with story so it isn’t just put there as filler, it adds to the story.

I really recommend this story, this is something I will re-read often. It’s a great sci-fi story that had me on the edge of my seat at times.
