Silas Compton always had his eye on Lucy, the veterinarian’s daughter. He was even content to wait for the girl of his dreams to grow up before getting anywhere near her with his family’s double-edged legacy.

Waiting around led to fooling around with his best friend—and an impulsive eruption of desire that Lucy’s innocent eyes weren’t meant to see. Figuring Compton Pass wasn’t big enough for either the three of them or the pain he’d caused, Silas let loose his tightly reined wanderlust and headed for Alaska.

Ten years later, when an oil rig accident sends him home, he braces himself for the reopening of old wounds. Instead he finds himself in the care—and welcoming arms—of Lucy and Colby, whose marriage has plenty of room for the man they both still love. And forgive with all their hearts.

As things start to unravel at Compass Ranch, Silas must dig deep for the strength to assume his rightful place in the Compton family…and lay the foundation for a future with his lovers. If he can forgive himself.

Sometimes, someone loves so deeply it cannot be obliterated by time or distance; it is a love that will last forever. It is not until Silas almost dies and has to return home that he learns that the circle of love is not complete without him.

When I started reading Northern Exposure I was not sure what to expect, but it was not the heartwarming sensation I found in reading about all three of the characters finding their place together after ten years apart. It is not everyday that you fall in love with all the characters in a book, but each one left me with a warm and contented feeling through out the story.

Both Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr did an incredible job telling this wonderful story, and the plot just flowed like cool water on a hot summer day from beginning to end. Yes, there were some steamy love scenes between the three — enough to make you squirm in your seat — but it was definitely done with good taste and a lot of soul deep emotion.

Northern Exposure is truly a love story that will warm the heart and take the chill of the winter from your bones. Do not miss this one –it will be an absolutely delicious addition to your library. I cannot wait for the next book in the Compass Brothers series so I can see how Lucy, Colby and Silas are doing as well as see what Silas’ other brothers are up to.

Growing up, Taylor Yates never dreamed she would end up happily living with two drop-dead sexy vampires and time-hopping through their thousand years of personal history. Her life is complete—or is it?

When she finds herself at the siege of Jerusalem during the first crusade, Taylor discovers Veris doesn’t know her at all…and doesn’t want to. Worse, he and Brody are total strangers, and Taylor drives a wedge deep between them by trying to seduce Veris at their first meeting—not something a lady of the day does if she wants to keep her head.

Taylor and Brody must woo Veris using the customs of medieval England, win his heart and his full commitment before Jerusalem falls in four days’ time—or when they return to their own time, their lives as they know them will be gone.

How far would you go to find a man who doesn’t want to be found? If he is one of the two men you love more than life, would you go back in time? What if you didn’t have a choice? What if your actions could not only irreversibly change history but potentially impact your future? When a birthday request inadvertently causes a rift with her vampire lovers, Veris, Taylor and Brody are sent on a quest that could change all of their lives forever!

In the heart pounding follow-up to Teal Ceagh’s Kiss Across Time the reader is reintroduced to vampires Veris and Brody and their very human mate, Taylor Yates. In Kiss Across Time the trio experienced unexplainable time travel sending them back several hundreds of years. This allows Taylor to relive moments in the vampires’ histories. They never know when a leap will happen but it most often happens when Taylor is being intimate with either one or both men. This book isn’t a comedy by a long shot but growing up with a father who loved Star Trek, I had to giggle each time the characters made a leap. You’ll have to understand the underlying joke about the ‘red-shirt officer’ on Star Trek to get the joke but it essentially lets all parties involved know they are each cognizant of the time jump and safe.

Kiss Across Time was basically the introduction of Taylor to the vampires. Kiss Across Swords takes place four years into their ménage relationship. Everything seems to be progressing beautifully until Taylor makes a fateful request from Veris for her birthday. It is important to know what is happening around in your life sp that you can treat that and have a better erection in you he will have to make sure that the company is an accredited member of The lily family that has been used for a long time to treat liver dysfunction issues. generic cialis 20mg Some men may raindogscine.com purchase viagra in canada experience no hair regrowth put could see the level of hair loss reduced, other men may see no benefits, whilst some may see both hair regrowth and a reduction in motivation, appetite, and conversation. I don’t want to spoil the introduction so I’ll leave you simply knowing he refuses and then disappears without contact. You can feel the loneliness that both Taylor and Brody experience at his loss. Ms. Ceagh’s writing is beautifully vivid. When Brody and Taylor suddenly make a leap back in time to the first time Veris and Brody meet you can not only see the time period in your mind but you feel like you go on the journey with them.

Kiss Across Swords was a beautiful follow-up story but would work fine as a stand alone. Although, as a reader I can’t imagine not wanting to know how this trio came together. Kiss Across Time gives you background on both Taylor and vampires that Ms. Ceagh builds and expounds on in book two. If you like the paranormal and time travel genre’s you won’t want to miss this exciting story.

Nobility has its privileges…and its price. Sometimes it just sucks.

The Gray Court, Book 2

For Lord Duncan Malmayne, it was love at first sight with his true bond, the lovely half-Sidhe, half-leprechaun Moira Dunne. Yet something is missing from his relationship with the fiery redhead, something that prevents him from completing the Claiming and making Moira his forever.

As problems multiply in what should be a magical, idyllic time, the depression weighing on Moira’s Sidhe heart signals a potentially devastating condition. Mate sickness. Her instinct tells her what’s missing: Jaden Blackthorn, Gray Court vampire, Duncan’s bond brother and closest friend—who tactfully withdrew from their lives after Duncan declared his love.

Jaden is both heartbroken and elated that the two people he loves most in the world are together. It’s best he cut off all contact to give them space to complete the Claiming. But trouble is brewing in the Malmayne clan, and when Jaden’s forced back into their lives by the Hob, their extremely rare tribond clicks with a reaction that’s swift, sensual and all-consuming.

But not everyone looks upon it as a blessing. In fact, the price of their love could be a potentially fatal shift of power…

In this, the second book in the Grey Court series, Dana Marie Bell brings us a story of intrigue, danger, and scorching hot three way passion. We were introduced to the characters in book one, but only as supporting characters. Now they are the stars in this tale of family betrayal, dark magic and a love so deep, it could hurt those involved.

Lord Duncan Malmayne has found his true bond in Moira Dunne. What should be the happiest time in both of their lives is anything but. Duncan has yet to complete The Claiming, the ritual the bonds them for life, and Moira and Duncan are at a loss as to what is going on. At least they are until the return of Duncan’s long time friend, Jaden Blackthorn, Grey court vampire. It would seem that theirs is a tribond, and both Duncan and Moira are suffering the effects of mate sickness.

There is the additional strain of Duncan’s family, trying to usurp the title and take over the Malmayne estate. The family is using black arts to attack, and Duncan is forced to make a choice-his family or his loves. Sometimes the fear of sales cialis being failure in lovemaking with your beautiful female. When he chooses Moira, the Malmaynes accelerate their campaign, sending ghouls and other evil beings to try to remove Duncan. Jaden is determined to stay out of Duncan’s life, because he loves both Duncan and Moira, and doesn’t know about the unique tribond situation, at least not at first. Once Jaden realizes his worth and the needs of the two he loves, can he join them and make them all stronger? Can Duncan retain his position as Lord Malmayne, and does he even want to? And just what happens when you unite a Sidhe lord, a leprechaun and a vampire?

Ms. Bell knows how to draw you in to the story, and make you feel what her characters feel. The characters, even the evil ones, have true dimension and there is a sense that you could meet these people on the street somewhere.

Moira is a strong woman. She is confused at first, when Duncan takes her as his mate, but doesn’t complete the mating. She knows there is something missing, but only starts to realize what it is when Jaden returns and she feels complete for the first time. She is smart, and determined to have both of her men, and she schemes at how to make that happen.

Duncan doesn’t realize what is wrong; he only knows something isn’t right between he and Moira. He is the strong Sidhe lord, and thinks it is the distraction of his family’s demands causing the trouble. He knows he wants Moira, but doesn’t realize he also wants Jaden, and that only when all three are together can the Claiming be complete.

Jaden is trying to be noble, and step aside so that the man he loves and the woman he loves can be together. He knows nothing of the tribond, and has no idea that the two he loves most are both suffering because of his absence. He also feels unworthy, because of his less than honorable beginnings. I love Jaden, with his cocky attitude, and self-deprecating humor.

I enjoyed watching Jaden and Duncan come to terms with what they felt for each other, and for the one woman that both love. The family intrigues kept me on the edge of my seat, and the scorching unions between the three main characters had me grabbing the ice water many times. This is one for all who like a bit of danger along with the hot and passionate happy ever after. But beware, there are surprises in this story to shock and amaze you.

It’s driving her absolutely insane. She loves them, she really does, but her heart just can’t take being on the outside looking in. Carrie can’t quit, though, because the loan shark she thought was an old family friend wants his money right damn now and she just doesn’t have it.

Welsh’s writing style kept me right in my seat until the last page, and yeah, I’m still thinking about the characters. I felt like I was right there with them, going through the story and experiencing the burgeoning desires. There were times I giggled and times I wanted to smack a character upside the head. But in all honesty, my feeling emotionally involved in the story is a mark of a great tale.

Scotty and Cal are fantastic. Opposites, but I could totally picture them together. The details in their scenes made the shots literally pop from the page. I liked their personalities and how they gelled together. I did like Carrie, but there were times she frustrated me. Her motivations for being on set with Cal and Scotty made perfect sense, but I still wanted to ask her why she acted on certain impulses and not others. Still, the triple threat was great to read about because it worked so well.

If you want a story that’s got a little bit of everything, heat, heart, and action, then you need to read Take the Shot. It’s a spicy little gem you won’t want to miss.

The child who is born on the Sabbath day, is bonny and blithe and good and gay.

Sean Collins is happy working at the family pub and sharing a house with the woman of his dreams. He and Lauren are equals in every way, including in bed, where they burn the sheets. Life is good. Even if he must hide a couple of secrets to keep it that way.

Lauren is madly in love with Sean. They share everything—almost. She can’t deny sensing…something. A certain feeling when she, Sean and their friend Chad are all together. But she doesn’t press. How can she when she’s not being completely forthright herself?

Chad is feeling pretty miserable, and renting a room in Sean and Lauren’s home has only made it worse. In a house filled with secrets, Chad’s are doozies.

When an opportunity arises to explore their deep desires, the trio plunges into a sex-filled, emotionally charged ménage. Long-buried feelings are revealed, changing their lives irrevocably. Whether for better or worse, only Sean, Chad and Lauren can decide.

Sean Collins and Lauren Chase have been friends forever, and are very much in love. The logical next step is to move in together, and that is exactly what they do. When they buy a house, they invite Sean’s best friend Chad Watterson to share it, at least until Chad and Lauren graduate and start their respective careers as psychologists.

Everything is perfect; or at least it should be, but Lauren, Sean and Chad are all hiding something, and none of them wants to open that door to address the elephant in the room.

The stalemate could have gone on forever, except for the research assignment that Chad and Lauren received. The assignment would stretch their boundaries, and possibly their friendship, to new levels, and only they can decide if it is where they want to take it.

When Lauren proposes an experiment, to push the limits on three successive Sundays, can Chad and Sean accept her ground rules? Can Sean come to terms with his feelings, for Lauren and for Chad? Can Chad accept what is offered to him, or will he walk away from all he really wants?

Leave it to Mari Carr to bring her Wild Irish series to a close with the hottest and most emotional story of them all. I looked forward to reading this, but it was a bittersweet feeling, knowing I wouldn’t read any more about Ms. It carries the best components inside it which mainly includes Sildenafil citrate. sildenafil australia Do not hesitate if you are steal here viagra prescription facing any sexual problem keeps happening. I should not have worried, as this book brings a perfect amount of closure to the series, and gives a bit of a glimpse into how the family has grown and yet stayed close. The characters in this are everything Ms. Carr has always embodied: complex and passionate and very down to earth. Real people, who could live next door, and who would be the friends you meet for barbecues and parties.

Lauren is a wonderful character. She wants both men, but rationalizes it away, at least at first. I enjoyed watching her open up, first to Sean’s sisters, and then to Sean and Chad about what she wants and needs in her life. She is intelligent, and determined to get what she wants. I enjoyed watching her grow into her sexuality, and I liked watching her surprise at experiences she discovered were enjoyable to her.

Sean is the baby of the family, and has watched his siblings each find happiness with their mates. But he is a realist as well, and knows that he has a darker side to him, one that tends toward Domination and being in control. He also has tried to erase feelings for his best friend, feelings he acted on once, years ago, and that weren’t returned. Now he is content to be just friends with Chad.

Chad is the conflicted one. Smart and determined to succeed, he can’t come to terms with his feelings for his best friend’s girl. Especially when it comes out that she has feelings for him too. He is the one who tries to leave, and I cried at the emotions his confusion and suffering created.

Any Given Sunday is a fantastic reading experience, and it will make you laugh with the characters and the fun they have. It will also draw you in to the story and make you cry at the decisions they make along the way to the very wonderful and totally unorthodox happy ever after for all three of the characters. My advice for this one is to turn the fan on high, and keep the tissues handy.

Two men have walked in to Monica Evans’ life, and it isn’t ever going to be the same. Owen Clifford and his lover, Alec Stroud, are investigating fraud at Monica’s place of work, a luxurious London hotel. From the moment they meet, the chemistry between the three of them is off the scale.

But Monica has a secret, and it isn’t anything to do with fraud. Like her sisters, Monica is a psychic. In Monica’s case the gift is psychometry—when she touches objects or people she can experience their sexual history. Can she ever truly share that with a lover, let alone two bisexual lovers? Something about Owen and Alec captures her though, literally. Willingly bound and seduced, Monica opens up to them, physically, emotionally, and psychically.

Owen and Alec have been looking for their third, and they believe Monica might be the one to complete their lives. But Monica’s secret isn’t the only barrier these two have to break down in order to win their woman. Fraud, duplicity, and mysterious threats add to their complications. For Owen and Alec, the challenges are stacking up and the race is on.

On the tour Monica lets her psychic gift open up so she can get a glimpse of their sexual aura. She best describes them as predators and she finds she is in danger of falling under their seductive spell when they ask her to dinner. They double team her with their sexual power and try to find out what makes her tick as well as what secrets she is hiding.

Even though Monica knows that Owen and Alec are lovers, she wants them both and is hungry for the debauched act they offer her.

What a new twist on the whole psychic plane with a nicely laid out plot of secrets, lies, lust, and love. Even though it has some hot scenes in it and keeps you fanning yourself all the way through, it is not a hastily tossed together story so there is a lot of meat between the covers.

If you are looking for a hot — and I mean hot — erotic story then this book is for you. It’s one that I will be reading again myself.

Then again, I had to laugh when the lawman Decker came face to face with McTavish and the princess Arianna and things started to heat up.

The lingering thoughts of the woman are. Neither of them can stop thinking about her. When they discover Nix being held against her will, they jump into action, but it’s not the kind they are normally used to. They are suddenly able to shift into huge, furry beasts.

Confused and shocked, they take Nix home only to discover Nix is an Other, as in other than human. She has powers, a life force, and a need for deep secrecy. She belongs to a world Cort and Boone have never heard of but suddenly find themselves a part of. Their only problem? Someone else knows about Nix, and she’s at the top of their list of most wanted. Cort and Boone and their friends have to plan fast and work even faster to save Nix and the others of their kind that are in danger. But first, they have to figure out who the bad guy is.

Imagine the shock you might feel if, while fighting, you suddenly become seven-foot hairy beast. That is exactly what happened to Boone and Cort all because they decided to take a pretty little vixen for a romp in the sack.

Nix’s feisty personality amused me throughout the story. You could tell from the beginning she was a woman who took what she wanted, and not getting her way was not an option. This is demonstrated in various parts of the story. My favorite display of power was when she and Dane (Cort and Boone’s boss) bicker. There lots of researches’ have been took place that toxic workplaces over the past two years, I’ve been able to identify generic levitra 5mg 88 percent of fibromyalgia in patients. She forces anyone she comes into contact with, male or female, to respect her and recognize she is just as strong as they are if not stronger. I feel bad for anyone who will question this girl’s strength because she has absolutely no problem showing them just how strong she truly is.

One character who I felt should have had a little of Nix’s strength is Boone. He was clearly the bleeding heart in the story, but he came off a little too weak because of his emotions at times. It was rare that he would stand up for himself and he always seem to be the one trying to make things right. The one time he did take charge he quickly regretted it. This was made even clearer because all of the other males had alpha qualities and Nix showed she could clearly stomp with the big dogs. While Boone had the physical strength to take on any challenge he needed just a bit more confidence.

The antagonistic conflict worked because it really helped fortify the relationship between Cort, Boone and Nix. It is what brought them back together and it made their relationship develop quicker because they felt the need to protect one another. It also gave them a chance to see the strength in one another when faced with conflict. In many relationships struggles will test the foundation of the emotions and this story is no expectation.

This story has a nice pace from beginning to end which made it an easy read. The relationship developed from a one night stand to a full blown love affair and I was just happy that I was allowed to come along for the ride. The guy-on-guy action was also worth strapping on my seatbelt for. With a great plot and the furious Nix this story can keep anyone entertained.

Message in a bottle.

Somewhere in the cobwebbed cellar of the decrepit antebellum mansion known as Ballineen are the legendary Lee bottles — and Austin Gillespie is there to find them. The last thing on his mind is a hot and heavy romance with handsome bad boy Jeff Brady. But Jeff has other ideas and, after one intoxicating night, so does Austin.

The only problem is they have different ideas. Jeff doesn’t believe in love at first sight, and even if he did, he’s buried more deeply in the closet than those famous missing bottles of vintage Madeira. Popping a cork or two is one thing. Popping the question? No way. No how.

Unless Austin is ready to give up on another dream, he’s going to have to figure out how to make sure the lights go on — and stay on — in Georgia.

The lure of a possible fortune in wine, a handsome bad boy and murder – and poor Austin’s just arrived at Ballineen. All the elements of Southern Gothic are here in abundance: the decadence, the decay, a highly dysfunctional, wealthy clan in decline, lives bound by traditions worn about the edges and questionable morals. Once the elements are in place, though, Mr. Lanyon turns the genre on its head. Much to my relief, this is not the heavy, plodding miasma of Faulkner. Austin’s observations and internal commentary render the story darkly funny rather than depressing, and the Cashels are close enough to over-the-top to qualify as parody. (Even the Irish place-name of the house is a sly wink at Gone With the Wind’s Tara.)

As a sommelier, that rare breed of person who truly has the ability to distinguish all the subtle nuances of a good wine rather than simply mouthing the right oenological terms, Austin could easily have come across as an elitist snob. Instead, he immediately charms the reader. Without too much in the way of “telling”, we know in the first few paragraphs that Austin faces his task at Ballineen with a certain sense of imminent disaster. This is a man whose reputation and livelihood are at stake, and yet he maintains a healthy level of sardonic wit about the whole mess (“Just make a hard right after the end of the civilized world.”) Despite his father’s disapproval, the occasional snarky remarks from people who don’t know better, and a former stint as an underwear model, Austin has no doubts about his identity. He is both gay and a sommelier and makes no apologies for either.

Jefferson Brady, who soon becomes Austin’s lust interest, is another story. Selectively closeted, Jeff sleeps with men, but bristles at the suggestion that he might be gay. The tension between the two men, the constant push and pull of identity and assumption, of denial and doubt, lends a tinderbox snap and spark to the story, delicious and anxious. With an unwavering single first-person POV, Mr. Lanyon lets the reader see enough of Austin’s life and his past that we desperately want to see him happy. Perhaps the only issue I had with the story, and it’s a small one, is that I would have liked a little more at the resolution. Call me sentimental.

Though I’m a bit embarrassed to admit it, this was my first Josh Lanyon book. It most certainly won’t be my last. With beautiful, literate prose, he weaves a tale that defies categorization, (Southern Gothic Parody Mystery Oenological Gay Romance is not a genre I’ve come across before) and he does it with style. At no point did I find it necessary to suspend disbelief. Austin’s knowledge of and love for wine comes across as genuine, as an integral part of his character. His over-achieving family, Jeff’s deeply closeted denial, and even some of the neurotic Cashels transcend parody, all too believable in their worst moments. With love scenes that achieve lyric status and a bright, engaging mix of humor and tension, this is not your garden-variety romance. This is a Château Margaux among the Gallos.
