This book isn’t a five because I was confused at first about the Fae world. As the third in Ms. Gayle’s The Taken series, I felt like I was missing key details from previous books. I think Slave to Pleasure would have definitely benefitted from a prologue.

If you’re looking for a hot paranormal ménage relationship, Slave to Pleasure is not to be missed. I really enjoyed this book, and will look for more of Ms. Gayle’s titles.

If you answered YES to any or all of these questions you will love the Threefold Anthology. I’m not going to go into detail about each story because the reader gets enough a preview in the blurb, so instead I’ll simply highlight what I enjoyed about the anthology as a whole.

First and foremost let me tell you I LOVE a good ménage!! Having a chance to read an anthology set that included writers of the caliber of Desiree Holt, Brynn Paulin, Kim Dare as well as three more amazing and talented writers was an honest to goodness “can’t miss” opportunity for this reviewer.

Anthologies aren’t for everyone. Something that readers should keep in mind is that anthologies are typically made up of 4 or more authors writing stories that are less than a hundred pages long. Don’t be surprised when the hero (or heroes in this case) meet, fall in bed and in love almost instantly. These aren’t epic novels. The plots in Threefold Anthology are fairly simple but developed well enough to create atmosphere, opportunity, some creative dialogue and even more creative couplings. The analogy I used earlier of an appetizer buffet is more accurate. This is just a sample of an author’s writing style and voice. They know if you like what you see you’ll come back for more. I can promise you there is something for everyone on this buffet.

The short stories in this set run the gamut from office romance, BDSM, voyeurism, sneaky seductions, enchanted statues, interracial alpha males, and some seriously hot M/M homo-erotic interaction in the final story that had me squirming even though the heroes never actually have intercourse with one another. The writing is smooth and the characters are memorable. While I did notice a few minor editing goofs it wasn’t enough to truly take away from the stories. No matter if you read the stories one or two at a time or read the whole book in one setting you won’t be disappointed in this sizzling collection from some of today’s hottest writers.

I’m always just a little leery when picking up a novella. I’m worried that I’m going to be shorted on character development, plot and/or important details. That fear was almost totally unfounded with Wicked Bad. In just sixty-six exciting pages you learn who the Abbotts’ are, where Jacob’s family came from and how Ric came to be a part of his life. I’ve often heard authors say that while they love receiving high marks on reviews they’re always curious as to why a reviewer assigns a 4.5 as opposed to a 5. What didn’t work in the story to lose that half point. For me, in Wicked Bad, it was the scene with Jacob’s family. While I was given enough story as to why they left Massachusetts for Argentina there is so much room to develop how this prominent Magian family fell from grace. It’s possible Ms. Alexander felt that exploring deeper into the Gryffin family would detract from the main plot but she gave just enough of an introduction to whet my appetite. Oh, well, maybe we’ll see them again in the next installment.

Wicked Bad picks up just as Wicked Sexy ends but you don’t have to read the later to enjoy this story. It works very well as a stand alone. I think you’ll agree it wouldn’t be a hardship to read more of these exciting Mgian triune stories. Ms. Alexander leaves a perfect opening for the third in this series with Lorie and Conway’s story. This reviewer will be keeping an eye out for just that event.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. It was filled with some of the hottest, steamiest scenes — both M/M AND M/M/F I have read in a really long time. I don’t know if there will be future books, but I am hoping that Ever gets his own story at least, but would be thrilled to see many more characters to come, because I do not want to see an ending to this series. It is well worth the read now and over and over again.   A keeper.

I fell in love with each character. Julian is the ultimate caring male, and his actions show it. Kyle is the ultimate Alpha; I love a really good Alpha male – one who will take control but also lose some in return. Madeline is a great female lead – both confident and caring. She completes the triangle in every way possible. I loved all three of them together!

This is a first read of Elise Logan’s for me, but is absolutely not the last. I hope to hear more from these sexy men with wings. It’s a recommended read – my advice: Go get it!

Cooper McKenzie pulls the reader into a wondrous world where there is not only hot sex but also deep love. It was nice to see a woman that was not stick-thin but actually had a figure and the men enjoyed and wanted her that way. I truly enjoyed this book and look forward to seeing more from this author and hopefully more from Club Esoteria and its characters.

This is my first foray into the work and worlds of Anya Bast. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I cracked the book, but I have to say it was intense. There was a whole world to understand and discover. I’m glad Ms. Bast took the time to ease me into Dai, Nico, and Twyla’s world. But with any short story, there were a lot of things I wanted to know more about. I wanted more details.

I liked the relationship between Nico and Dai and wanted more of their story. The love and devotion between them is overwhelming and beautiful.
