Family Matters is the second book in this series, and while it is fine as a standalone title, I do highly recommend that you read the first book, so that you can fully understand Nevvie, Tyler and Thomas and their relationship. I will mention that the first book is a bit longer than this book’s 370 pages, and that a lot of those pages are dedicated to nothing more than developing these complex characters and their story and illustrating their love and growing relationship.

Nevvie and her boys are happier than they ever thought possible. If it weren’t for her new extended family, I don’t think that Nevvie would have made it through that horrible day. As Nevvie says, Tyler is her brain and Thomas is her strength and she is literally brought to her knees in a gut-wrenching turn of events that had me crying right along with her.

I could go on and on about how great Nevvie, Thomas and Tyler are, as well as the talents that Tymber Dalton brings to her books. However, the best way for you to experience an exceptionally written book it is to just read it! I highly recommend Love Slave for Two: Family Matters. The ending leaves me to believe that there may be a third book in this series, one that I await anxiously.

Let me just say that right from the beginning this was one HOT, sexy and breathtaking read. I was blown away right from the beginning by the sexual tension and the amazing plot line.

The plot line was remarkable and there were several times I had to say to myself “NO WAY, I CAN’T BELIEVE HE DID THAT!” I enjoy reading books by Morgan Ashbury because she always provides an action packed sizzling read that I know I am going to be amazed by. I was a bit surprised by this relationship, but I really enjoyed it.

All of these characters, along with the plot, come together to form a fascinating story. As for that plot, it centers mostly on a murder trial full of twists and turns that I never saw coming. I was especially surprised by the ending and I applaud the author for the choices she made with this revelation.

However, despite my enjoyment of the overall story there were a few things I felt were a bit weak and that left me with some questions. There are some story threads or twists that seemed a bit unfinished, as if something were missing as we moved forward in the story.

But despite this, I would say Twice the Pleasure is a great read that I enjoyed reading.

Still, the detailed settings are well described, along with the multi-cultural, original characters who find their happy ending. In that respect, any reader of “Black Planet: Tiger Eyes” will be pleased.

This is an entertaining story about a group of people finding love and acceptance and most of all a family with one another in a very unconventional relationship. In this futuristic story, Dr. Emilia Hypatia, takes a job on board the Tamora Bight and finds more than she expected when she meets her crewmates, Caphis Bates, Ford Caliban and the Captain Aaron Lucio. The story exudes sensuality as the four come together in some very passionate scenes as they bond with and get to know Emi better. In addition to the passion, the group also bond outside of the bedroom as they learn more about each other and work together on board their ship.

Caphis, Ford, and Aaron already have a strong bond from being comrades and from their shared experiences over the years and the author demonstrates this through their concern and protectiveness of one another. Caphis and Ford are so close that they have been nicknamed “the twins” because they often say the same thing at the same time, which added some humor to this story. These men are very private individuals and are reluctant to share more with people who aren’t part of their crew. After several rejections, they find it hard to believe that Emi would accept their unusual lifestyle and it is evident in their words and demeanor. Aaron is especially protective of his crew as he doesn’t wish them to be hurt. This causes him to come across as rude and cold at first, but once his reasons are revealed his behavior is understandable.

While the four come together to form a whole thanks to their chemistry and obvious attraction to one another, each character also has a distinct personality and the author did a wonderful job of using Emi to point out these differences in the men. Having lost her parents at a young age, Emi has longed for a family and with the crew of the Tamora Bight, she finds it. However, there are times where she felt a bit left out and I could really sense and feel her anguish as she too feared rejection by these men. The story is told from Emi’s point of view and at first I was a bit confused as to why we only get to see her side of things, but as the story progresses and a huge twist is revealed, it all becomes apparent and I applaud the author’s choice.

As for this unexpected and interesting twist, I won’t spoil it, but it definitely surprised me as I never saw it coming. Yet as I thought about it, I realized that the author dropped subtle little hints throughout the story and I never realized what they were all leading up to. I thought the author did a beautiful job of doing this and it really made the story stand out to me as everything fell into place.

Overall the story is a very emotional one, more so than I initially thought it would be as I read the description. While it does have scorching hot and touching love scenes between all of the main characters, it also has heart as the four bond and form an unconventional relationship. The group becomes so close and emotionally linked that I ached for them toward the end during one of the most emotional and pivotal scenes of the story, however, I don’t want to say too much for fear of spoiling it. I will say that the author did a fabulous job of making me care about these characters and allowing me to experience and feel their pain and emotion with her words. I was drawn into this fascinating world and relationship and loved every minute of it.

Love at First Bight has more than earned a spot among my keepers and I look forward to reading more of what this talented author has to offer.

When they rescue her from her abusive boyfriend, she falls a little deeper for these men she believes to be out of her reach. Each day she spends with them leads her to fall even more and when the men finally reveal their true intentions, she is lost.

Tyler and Thomas look forward to Nevvie’s day to clean, longing and conspiring for the day they can make her theirs. The two men are determined to ease her into a relationship rather than scare her off as they have truly come to care for Nevvie. Each of these men has a distinct personality that really complements the other’s. I loved how Nevvie found common interests with each of the two men individually as well as together outside of the bedroom. They all share a deep friendship and bond beyond the physical that came across very well.

The author did a wonderful job of making this a believable relationship that one can easily understand despite the unconventionality of the situation. She even used secondary characters to point out the problems and ask questions that one might have about the logic behind a threesome, but Tyler, Thomas, and Nevvie answered those questions and demonstrated a loving and caring relationship with one another.

This was a story that I enjoyed a great deal as the author brought these characters to life with their emotional and passionate love story. The story just seemed to flow and I was sad to see it end.

This one was a keeper for me and I would definitely recommend it. I look forward to reading more by this talented author!

His knowledge of the past is very valuable and soon Pepper, Kade, and Logan find themselves battling pirates and Imperial forces who seek Logan and the treasure from the ship.

Full of surprises, this was an interesting story set in a world that fascinated me. I enjoyed learning about the world and watching as a relationship developed between Pepper, Kade, and Logan. They all helped each other and shared an easy camaraderie that I enjoyed. It was interesting to think that the true treasure of the ship was actually Logan as he has knowledge of our modern world that this future world longs for such as knowledge of books and history. I must say that the ending of the story came as a great surprise and is one that I never could have predicted. If you enjoy the Spaceport series, pick this one up to add to your collection!

The next morning, she thinks that she may be in love with him. I don’t find the scenario realistic for myself, but that may be a personal preference. Other than that, the editing was very clean, the dialogue was excellent, and the descriptions of both the setting and characters were amazing.

Overall, I did very much enjoy “Two Fine for Pine”. Isabella Jordan’s writing style fits right in with what I like. The passion between Christopher, Charles, and Vanessa is enough to heat anyone up very quickly. If you like erotic paranormal, but are looking for something different, then I recommend that you give “Two Fine for Pine” a try.

Lena and Matt, paired together at a witches’ ritual meant to save the earth from drought, are drawn together long after the ritual has passed. When they find themselves hunted by both ignorant humans and dangerous enemy witches, they discover that joining forces will not only strengthen their power, it will save them from certain death. Along the way, they take up with sexy and powerful Kenji and kind, gentle, but equally passionate Giorgio. These four witches enjoy more than one sexual encounter, including a super-hot scene on a kitchen floor that has forever changed the way I will think about baking bread!

The minor characters in this story are interesting and well-developed too, from Lena’s roommate Sky to her sister Serena to powerful fellow witches Sorren and Jaimis. The climactic scene, a showdown between warring witches, is a powerful one (though I do wish it had been told by a participant in the battle, rather than by an observer).

My only small criticisms are that the chapter breaks come at very odd places, and the dialogue in some of the most intimate scenes is awkward, not fitting with the natural and lyrical writing in the rest of the story.

Those minor flaws aside, Nature’s Pentacle is a terrific paranormal tale, filled with great characters, a complex storyline, and super-hot ménage scenes. Don’t miss this one!
