I was gripped by the tension of the characters and completely lost in the story. On the edge of my seat(squirming slightly), reading furiously to try to relieve Megan’s need. If you love shifter/mate books you will want to read this first book in Ms. West’s series. This reviewer is waiting (rather impatiently) for book two. If it’s anywhere as explosive and exciting as book one it will be well worth the wait!

The story is pleasantly paced, but the world building felt a little lacking. Very interesting for what was there, but I found myself with more questions than answers about why and how things came to be.

Even so, I would definitely recommend this story to readers who like fantasy with an edge of suspense and plenty of hot lovin’.

I will say that the author gets pretty technical when it comes to the various yoga positions, which became occasionally bothersome — since I am not a follower of the belief I couldn’t fully understand what was going on. I do however think that this belief increased the story and enhanced the BDSM element of the story.

This BDSM story has an intense D/s element to it. So even when Rachel does not know or want to admit what she needs, Jon is there to show her. That is the reason I labeled this a forced seduction. This was not done in a malicious or hurtful way, just a men giving a woman what she needs. There is also a lot of petting and foreplay between various characters, but actual penetration is left for Rachel’s master. Many of these encounters are almost more about reassurance than sex.

This was a very sweet story that should touch anyone’s soul. Sex and sexuality play a large role in this story, but it is always intimate, emotional and something that should be cherished. Even when more than one party is involved you can see the caring and love coming from all participants. It is a nice mixture that left every part of my body feeling warm and tingly.

I have read stories that have left me envious of the relationship and love a couple share, but none as deeply as this story. Fabulous.

Life in the late 19th century was for the very rich; the very poor had little or no rights or control over their futures and it is fun to take arms for one young and determined woman to forge her own path. A thoroughly enjoyable story.

Eliza mentions having another sister that gives this reviewer hope that there will be at least one more installment to this series. While I would have liked to have had Shyla, Jacy and Cole brought into this story, even if it was for a cameo only, it didn’t detract from the book at all. My understanding of the story is that Aya and Shyla would be cousins so I was looking for a reunion of sorts, but that could happen in a third story.

The wolves out to decimate the white wolves seem to get more inventive and determined as the series progresses. Eliza was certainly more manipulative and sadistic than Laela. This reader will be keeping her eyes open with hopeful anticipation that Ms. Regale will honor us with one more installment!

Both Jayne Rylon and Mari Carr did an incredible job telling this wonderful story, and the plot just flowed like cool water on a hot summer day from beginning to end. Yes, there were some steamy love scenes between the three — enough to make you squirm in your seat — but it was definitely done with good taste and a lot of soul deep emotion.

Northern Exposure is truly a love story that will warm the heart and take the chill of the winter from your bones. Do not miss this one –it will be an absolutely delicious addition to your library. I cannot wait for the next book in the Compass Brothers series so I can see how Lucy, Colby and Silas are doing as well as see what Silas’ other brothers are up to.

Ms. Flynn wrote a tough love story with Here Little Kitty. She shows us just because something is fated to be doesn’t always mean it’s meant to be. In every relationship there are ups and downs but if, as a couple, you can work through your differences anything is possible.

The only thing I didn’t like about this story is like all good things it had to come to an end.

This was an excellent read. If you like paranormal, shifter stories with sexy men and steamy erotic love scenes this book is for you. Joyee Flynn did not disappoint with this second story in the Purrfect Mates series. I completely recommend this book and look forward to the next installment to this series.

In the heart pounding follow-up to Teal Ceagh’s Kiss Across Time the reader is reintroduced to vampires Veris and Brody and their very human mate, Taylor Yates. In Kiss Across Time the trio experienced unexplainable time travel sending them back several hundreds of years. This allows Taylor to relive moments in the vampires’ histories. They never know when a leap will happen but it most often happens when Taylor is being intimate with either one or both men. This book isn’t a comedy by a long shot but growing up with a father who loved Star Trek, I had to giggle each time the characters made a leap. You’ll have to understand the underlying joke about the ‘red-shirt officer’ on Star Trek to get the joke but it essentially lets all parties involved know they are each cognizant of the time jump and safe.

Kiss Across Time was basically the introduction of Taylor to the vampires. Kiss Across Swords takes place four years into their ménage relationship. Everything seems to be progressing beautifully until Taylor makes a fateful request from Veris for her birthday. Kiss Across Time gives you background on both Taylor and vampires that Ms. Ceagh builds and expounds on in book two. If you like the paranormal and time travel genre’s you won’t want to miss this exciting story.

I gobbled up the first book in the Nights in Bliss series but I think I connected more with Two To Love. There is so much emotion in this novel. Nate and Zane have lived a lifetime in the six years since they left Callie in their hotel room after a weekend she’s never forgotten. As undercover DEA agents they had to give up their life outside the biker gang they were attempting to take down and that meant forgoing to chance of a lifetime with Callie. When fate brings them all together in Bliss, will Callie be able to forgive them for leaving with barely a note, will Nate be able to forgive himself for failing Zane and will Zane be able to move past the nightmares of the Barbarians? You won’t want to miss their story!!

Ms. Oak has an amazing voice for ménage relationships. I can only imagine the difficulty in writing the incredibly hot scenes when it only involves one man and woman much less throwing in a whole other body. With Ms. Oak’s writing you never feel that you lose the chemistry or the plot for the sake of the scene.

As I mentioned before, Two To Love is the follow-up to Three To Ride, but it is very much a stand alone book. Although, after you read one I can’t imagine not wanting to read the other. If you have enjoyed the first two books in the Nights In Bliss series like I have you’ll be happy to hear that there is one more book planned for Stephen and Jennifer called One To Keep!
