This is a fun short story. I really enjoyed the heat and chemistry between Evie and Cullen and found myself rooting for their hooking up and starting a relationship. I liked how Evie came across as a normal, “everywoman” style character. Hassled by her ex, stressing over rent and having clashes with co-workers and being caught in traffic, it wasn’t a stretch for me to really put myself in her place. I felt an instant kinship to her and really enjoyed seeing her and Cullen steam up the pages.

While I was a little disappointed at how predictable I found the plot, it was very strongly woven into the fabric of Evie and Cullen starting their relationship and the antagonist of Evie’s ex-boyfriend helped bring plenty of conflict and tension to the story. I found this overall to be a fast paced, interesting and highly sensual read that should appeal to many readers. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I found this to be a fun, interesting read. I loved Ian’s unorthodox method for summoning the demon and was really intrigued by the fresh approach. This story is in the first person, so it was a great view into Ian’s mindset but also his intent – and this made the story really appealing to me. I liked knowing exactly where Ian was coming from and it helped me feel more connected to him as a character. The fact his intentions were mostly pure (insult and temper as opposed to nefarious reasons for wanting to summon a demon) made this a unique read for me.

A part of me wondered why Ian didn’t think ahead about what he’d do with the demon or how he’d dismiss it – just because one is simple to summon doesn’t necessarily make it easy to get rid of. But aside from this logical plothole I felt the rest of the story held together really well. I was slightly confused as to why “he” was written throughout the story as “ze” and “zir” – I feel there must be some world-building reason behind these different terms, but it wasn’t explained and so I remained baffled throughout the story. While it jarred me a lot, Ian, Jae and their incubus kept me entertained enough I eventually just glossed over the oddness of this section of the writing. I really would have appreciated an explanation to that though.

The sex was explicit but I personally found it hot and intriguing. Readers who don’t like M/M will want to steer clear of this book, but I thoroughly enjoyed the sexy scenes. There’s a small element of BDSM in it – consensual pain and a steamy hot threesome. There is a very satisfied – and happy – ending and I thoroughly enjoyed the antics of Jae, Ian and their sexy incubus.

That said, this book really does show a lot of progress and deepening of Peter and Christian. I’ve loved this couple (Christian in particular) as complex characters in the earlier books and was thrilled to really dig deeper into their stories.

This is book five in the series. I feel it would be best if readers had read at least a few of the previous stories – but I have to admit the author does a great job of writing this book as a self-contained story. I feel readers could read this without any of the previous ones and the reader will still enjoy a great, emotional BDSM story. But the story is much richer, more complex and deeper having read the previous installments. I feel the experience is far greater having come the full journey.

I loved reading both Peter and Christian, as well as Damon and Toby’s stories continue. I’ve grown really attached to these characters and hope there are more books coming down the line. Hot and sweet, filled with interesting, multi-layered characters this is an awesome book and one I know I will reread many times to come. Recommended.

I feel the author did a great job of making the dynamics between the brothers interesting and fun, but they still each had their own personality and flaws.

There were clearly lures for other books scattered throughout the story – but I found this could easily be read as a stand-alone novel. I didn’t need any backstory on the town or Misty’s friend and the other stories I presume have been written in the series. I found the sex to be smoking hot and deliciously explicit. I also really enjoyed how it wasn’t just the three men with Misty. They each had alone time with the other and this helped me understand their connections and strengthened their relationship together in my eyes. The BDSM was quite light – mostly a bit of spanking/flogging, toys and restraints. There was nothing I found extreme or overly hard-core and I feel most readers used to erotic romance should find it tasteful and hot.

The two families are huge and the author has done a wonderful job keeping all the characters as individuals and as the wedding is a major plot-point everyone has come together and there’s plenty of fun, frivolity and fireworks. I loved watching everyone clash and reunite, but central to it all Janny and Nik and the explosive chemistry they provide kept me fanning myself and eagerly turning the pages.

I was a little surprised at the hot role-play style sex scene Janny and Nik indulged in. Usually that sort of thing doesn’t work well for me but the author did an excellent job and I found it seriously steamy. I’m not sure it will be every reader’s cup of tea – Janny and Nik didn’t slip “out of character” much in their fantasy role-play so it would be quite easy for a reader to take their actions and discussions seriously. But personally I found it added to the spice of the story and I surprisingly enjoyed it a lot. There are plenty of plot twists – nothing is ever more complicated than family! – and I thought there was plenty of interesting turns to spice up the lovely story of Janny and Nik coming together.

A fun story with heaps of interesting characters and a great read I thoroughly enjoyed.

Both Ethan and Tate have had their hearts ripped out by a previous lover, they both still carry the wounds and mistrust from their past. I enjoyed how Paris was sensible enough to embrace that, and the two men, but not let it overshadow the slow progress of their new relationship. While she wanted to heal both the men, their attraction was deep and instant. Their connections were real, and I was glad the author allowed us to read about their progress of coming together at a slow enough pace that I could enjoy it.

I found the whole build up to the ménage quite realistic. I loved falling deeply into the story. Paris, Ethan and Tate’s characters all were wonderfully complex, full of layers and issues, positive and negative traits that had me feeling like they could be real people, vibrant and interesting. I was a little jarred from the story when I read how the town they lived in had three times as many men than women – and how from that, ménage living arrangements were quite commonplace and openly discussed. At that point a lot of the realistic nature of the story dropped away for me, but it was the only big jolt I found throughout the story. And when Ethan, Tate and Paris finally all came together – phew it burned right off the pages and made up for any plot holes I might have found.

A steamy hot, wonderfully fun, sexy read this is a great ménage story and an interesting world I would happily read more books about.

A strong, intense story that I can highly recommend.

I enjoyed this story, though found the beginning a little difficult to follow. The first scene opens up and with all the double-talk and metaphors I wasn’t exactly sure what was going on. Then the next chapter goes back into the past to explain how Jessica got to where we opened – and there was no “three months earlier” or other explanation that we’d gone back in the past. By the time the story ended though, everything had slotted into place and made sense – but it was a little difficult feeling completely lost through most of the first half of the book. If the opening had been a little clearer (I enjoyed the funny-double entendre style of writing but it did make things puzzling as a beginning) and if there had been an indication at the chapter start that we’d gone back in time – though the snappy chapter subtitles were quite fun – I would have followed along much easier I think and enjoyed myself far more.

Once I caught up though, I found this a lighthearted, fun read. The chemistry between Marco and Jessica is sizzling hot and lots of fun. The sex is intense but full of descriptions that could be taken many ways – allowing the readers to almost decide just how much and how far the whole thing goes, which I found an interesting and unique way of describing sex scenes between the hero and heroine.

People who enjoy plenty of saucy talk and passion in the kitchen should find this an entertaining read. Marco and Jessica are fun, interesting characters and they certainly both have a widely varied taste in food and sex. This is short enough to read on the go, but delicious enough to satisfy even the deepest cravings.

Taking a quick break in a pub near the moors, Joey is smitten by the bar-keep, Ryder and his equally delicious twin Devon. Sparks fly and what was supposed to be a short stop changes drastically as Joey realizes the importance of the twins and the chance they all could take together.

This is a hilariously fun book and bloody sexy to boot. Sit down, shut everything else out and enjoy this fun, hot short story. I couldn’t help but giggle in many places (bent as a boomerang!) even while Joey, Ryder and Devon started to steam up the pages. Despite the tongue-in-cheek aspect of a Kangaroo/Gorilla spliced human, I think Ms. Harlem has done an excellent job balancing out the cheeky good humour and the steamy romance. While I’m sure the plot is meant to be a bit of a lark, I actually really enjoyed it. There are intricacies and issues with multi-animal splicing that I’d never thought of before, and the author does a brilliant job of bringing those in and still keeping the heat simmering nicely.

I found the sex to be blisteringly hot, but also full of romance and a good, deep connection. There was no question in my mind the three sexy men would move forward in their lives together and share plenty of laughs, fun and adventures. While a part of me wished there’d been many more chapters, this gorgeous short story was deeply satisfying. I was also impressed that while this book is clearly part of a larger story – Joey’s spliced friends who had escaped with him – I thoroughly enjoyed this book as a stand alone. I usually can’t bear to read a middle story in a series, but this one really does stand perfectly well by itself.

A fun, lighthearted and sexy romp of a story I found this delicious and well-balanced both as a hot read and as a romantic story of three men coming together. Highly Recommended.
