Rockabilly crooner Polly Purefoy can’t believe her luck when she’s approached by Mallory Hayes, a Nashville record producer, with an invitation to join the Honkytonk Angels. There’s just one problem. Ms. Hayes moonlights as a dominatrix and she’s formulated a theory that submissive band members will make her job easier. Intrigued, Polly agrees to meet sultry domme Vivien Blackheart.

The pretty songbird obeys Vivien’s illicit commands with a vulnerability that chips away at the seasoned domme’s icy exterior. But Vivien has been hurt before. And she’s resolved never to let another sub into her heart.

From their first encounter, Polly enjoys every decadent punishment Vivien metes out to her, but the long, lust-filled sessions in Vivien’s dungeon leave Polly wanting more than just spankings from her seductive mistress. She wants love. And she’ll do anything—anything—to get it.

Inside Scoop: From the moment Vivien orders Polly to take off her panties, the two engage in wicked-hot BDSM play.

If Gwen Stephani had decided to sing Rockabilly instead of Pop music: that’s how I pictured Polly Purefoy. That combination of sex kitten and submissive innocence would be hard for a hot blooded male to pass up much less an experienced Domme.

One reason I reach for a Paisley Smith story if I’m in the mood for F/F is the simple fact that I know it’s going to be a well written story. Fall to Pieces is no exception. The descriptions put this reader right in the room when Polly is crooning her heart away on stage as well as when she’s under Vivien’s paddle.

This is a short story, so there isn’t a whole lot of time to get to know the character’s background stories. Ms. Smith does sprinkle it in along the way and it’s enough. I know enough about Vivien to know she doesn’t think she’ll ever fall in love with another sub. She’s pretty darn sure she doesn’t want to. But there’s something about Polly.

There is so much tension in this little novella. Ma’am doesn’t give Polly much time to adjust to what she demands and there is no room for tourist. She’s either in all the way or out.

I especially liked the clever play on the title. In my opinion, for the most part, it reflects on Vivien. Her past relationship as well as her decision to break her own rules for Polly. This is a really hot and yet sweet start to the Honkytonk Angels collection. Ms. Smith lets us in on the next two books before this one closes. It’s sure to be an fantastic trilogy. Readers who enjoy BDSM with their F/F romance should definitely check this one out. I think they’ll be looking forward to the next books in the series just like I am.

Few things are more unexpected than a sharp knock at the front door in the middle of a rainstorm. Will what Lily finds behind it change her destiny?

Lily’s resourcefulness and willingness to do anything to take care of her baby is admirable. She’s not a perfect person by any means, but her flaws made me like her even more.

The rules in this universe were a little difficult to figure out. Early on in the plot readers are given certain pieces of information that are later contradicted without any explanation as to why the rules have changed so suddenly. It would have been helpful to have a few more clues about what might have caused these things to occur. There were a few instances in which I thought I’d have confirmation of the theory I came up with to explain this, but I was never quite sure if my solution was the one the author intended to convey.

This story has the timeless feel of a traditional fairy tale. Ms. Noone is clearly well-versed in the genre, and her attention to detail shines through from the very first paragraph. The most interesting passages were the ones that described how this society works. Every kingdom has its own set of unwritten assumptions about how commoners and royalty should behave, and I had fun piecing together what it might be like to live in this one.

I smiled while I read Lily’s Enchantment. It’s a good choice for anyone looking for a gentle romance set in a land far, far away.

Claudia has just lost her whole world when her bar burns down, but enter two very hot arson investigators, Mac and Jonatan. She wants them both, and they both want her, enough that they’re willing to share.  I’ll admit that I struggled with this story at the beginning because I had trouble keeping track of whose head I was in, but I stuck with it, and I was rewarded with a great story.

I enjoyed this book because Mac and Jonatan start off not wanting to share, and so the first few times they do, it’s full of a lot of jealousy and anger but once they’re together it’s obvious they are all meant to be together.

The suspense of who really burned down the bar, and whether or not the men believe her innocence is well done. I had an inkling of the real culprit and I was glad to be proven correct and that the conflict added enough tension to help the three of them realize that they need each other and can’t live in a bubble and have to face life head on.

I definitely recommend this story, I want to read other stories by this author because, despite my early head hopping complaint, that calmed down and I really enjoyed her style so much so I will seek her out in the future.

They were sworn enemies. She was the Queen Sairin of An Éigipt. He was Darius Gaius Maximilianus, Admiral of the An Iodáilian Imperial Fleet. Separate, each was a blazing star in their quadrant of the Megaverse. Together, they were a supernova waiting to explode.

Maxim had been assigned the task of slapping the pampered hands of a spoiled queen who might or might not be harboring a fugitive from An Iodáil justice. He meant to put a tight leash around her lovely neck and bring her to heel.

Though she was his captive, Sairin intended to conquer the arrogant warrior sent to put her in her place. But before she could own his mind, she would own his body. Using herself as a lure, she would make him a prisoner of his desire.

Maxim is not a man to be trifled with; Sairin is a woman used to getting her way. The two together create a powerful team determined to be together despite the dangers and threats to their happiness.

As a matter of first importance, you have to think on the off chance that you take different pharmaceuticals? Sent on a mission to bring back a fugitive suspected of hiding out on an Éigipt, Maxim embarks on the assignment with full intention of carrying out his orders, one way or another. What he doesn’t anticipate is how attractive the queen of an Éigipt is. As soon as Sairin sweeps through the door, his thoughts go from demanding she surrender the fugitive he’s sure she’s hiding, to throwing her across the table and seating himself deep inside her. Though he’s been married several times, those unions were only to further his career and had nothing to do with love. In fact, he despised his current wife who’d undermined and embarrassed him on multiple occasions. Her preference for the same sex only added to the insult. Now, for the first time in his life, Maxim feels an emotion he never thought he would. He’s not sure if he should run like hell, or embrace this sassy female and hang on for dear life.

When she finally meets Maxim face to face, Sairin is ready to give him a piece of her mind. How dare he come to her planet and demand anything? The so-called fugitive is a man she knows is innocent. If Maxim takes him back to the emperor, her friend will be put to death for a crime he didn’t commit. What she doesn’t expect is the instant and overpowering attraction she feels for him that has her wanting to give him more than just her anger. But rumors of his part in the demise of his past wives had reached all areas of the Megaverse and Sairin isn’t so sure Maxim is a man she can trust with her body or her life. Men had used her in the past to acquire power and status; she did not intend to let this one do the same. When her heart overrides her head and she realizes she wants Maxim for more than a quick romp, she’s willing risk all to go after and even rescue him from the very man who sent him to her doorstep in the first place.

Even though she frequently acts like a spoiled brat, I thoroughly enjoyed Sairin’s sassiness as well as her strength. Most strong women wield a sword and can kick any guy’s ass if need be, but this one used her will and wit to get her way. She made for a very interesting and entertaining heroine.

There was no doubting Maxim’s capability as a leader—he’d earned the respect of his men through years of hard work—yet, he struck me as a man who was tired of being so hard all the time. He seemed unhappy and unfulfilled. I could really tell a difference in him every time he was with Sairin compared to when they were apart. Many of the secondary characters added a lot of depth to the plot. There were no fillers, so to speak.

There were a few parts where I felt like important things were kind of rushed through. While they certainly added to the plot, they changed the pace of the story. I felt like I was going along at a certain pace, then fast-forwarded through about eight months of time, then decelerated back to the regular pace. This kind of left me off balance for a few chapters and had me wondering why the author hadn’t taken a bit more time with those sections. The one in particular that threw me was Maxim’s marriage to the emperor’s sister.

I also thought there was some unfinished business, particularly with Sairin’s oldest son who has an intense hatred for Maxim. I honestly didn’t understand why he hated Maxim so much. The reasoning focused on his mother’s virtue, but she was obviously happy being with Maxim so it seemed out of place for her son to want to kill the man, knowing it would devastate his mother if he did so. Probably one of the things I disliked the most about this story is the head-hopping. There were several instances where you’re in one character’s point-of-view, then there’s something thrown in from the other character’s point-of-view. I found myself having to re-read some things to make sure I hadn’t missed something or wasn’t mistaken. I was a bit surprised by this as it wasn’t something I’d noticed in previous works by this author.

All complaints aside, I’ve always enjoyed Ms. Boyette-Compo’s stories. Her writing is free and uninhibited. Her tales push boundaries that others are afraid to cross. It’s a refreshing and exciting change of pace when I find myself getting bored with reading. Captive of Her Heart hooked me right from the get-go. The characters were dynamic and interesting. Almost every page had something exciting or dangerous going on; the story didn’t have much lag time. It’s definitely a book worth checking out.

British Rock Star meets Regular Jane and has loads of naughty sex. I bet those words captured your attention and while Sail to the Moon has these elements it also has so much more.

Zazz is very similar to the typical rock star. He is arrogant, gorgeous, super in the bedroom and has the voice of an angel. However in Sail to the Moon, Zazz also has issues with his father. Issue that are actually realistic and go beyond the stereotypical abuse a lot of NA authors use to make their characters emotional zombies. What sets this rock star apart from the many others I’ve read is his language. I feel in love with the verbiage Zazz used in this story that showed the author had actually done her music research. While Zazz hadn’t earned his levels, he was articulate, thoughtful and intelligent. When he acted like a complete jackass to Laura early on in the story, he was genuine in his apology and worked to get back in her good graces.

While Zazz certainly stole the show, Laura was a respectable character. She was bright, regularly attractive and displayed real emotion. Even though there was an instant connection between her and Zazz, it was believable. My intelligence wasn’t insulted.

They story is told from both Zazz and Laura’s viewpoints. It was well done. I understood the anger, loneliness and pain both characters experienced as their relationship progressed and parental issues worsened. In many stories hardships push the characters apart, in Sail to the Moon, it was refreshing to see hardships bringing couples closer-as that does happen in real life.

Overall, I enjoyed reading this story and give it 3 stars. The British dialogue was overly thick at times but there was enough hot sex, emotional connections and good dialogue for this reviewer to over look it. I also would have liked a more concrete ending. While it wasn’t a cliffhanger, it left me wanting to know Zazz and Laura’s future.

Ink.

A word that means different things to many people. Pictures and words that might stand as a reminder of love, loss, rebellion or camaraderie. For Haleigh Grace, it means freedom.

Walking through the doors of the tattoo parlor Inkfluence marks the start of taking her life back. Making it what she wanted it to be. No one is going to tell her she couldn’t. Not ever again.

Little did she know that behind those doors stood Kyle Muse. He was her best friend, but he’d walked away years ago without a backward glance. The one man she fantasized would someday be her knight in shining armor, the one she saved herself for.

Feelings long buried rise to the surface and the three find themselves bound by more than just ink.

Haleigh Grace has been through a lot but is ready to move her life forward and become who she always wanted to be. One sexy tattoo artist, who also happens to be her childhood best friend and crush, along with his broody talented Dom and partner will help guide her down the path to rediscovering her inner beauty and strength.

There’s a theme in this book about butterflies that aptly represents Haleigh’s journey from who her parents want her to be and who she wants to be. Ms. Kacey does a really nice job of showing Haleigh’s growth from the beginning to the vixen with a stronger will at the end. She has good motivation for going into Inkfluence in the first place and why she wants to alter certain parts of her body.

Scott and Kyle were a good combination for each other and as Haleigh’s heroes. Scott is a Dom with a penchant for the darker side of BDSM. Haleigh comes to realize she’s a bit of a pain slut and that works well with Scott’s love of playing a little rough. Even so, it was interesting to see that this alpha was completely confident in his position.

I liked Kyle. He grew of with Haleigh in an influential family who, like Haleigh’s parents, made plans for him and didn’t appreciate it when he went a different direction. Finding Haleigh after so many years gives him the courage to come out of cocoon right along with Haleigh.

For me, for this story to be a home run I think it needed a little more connection to Haleigh and Kyle’s past together. The author does give some details and some memories discussed but I didn’t feel a connection with their past. I think if there could have been a flashback to see how they had chemistry back then, even though they didn’t act on it, I could buy all the instant sparks and nervousness when they see each other again. Scott and Haleigh have a pretty heated moment on her first visit to the shop. As far as hot scenes go, it was smoking! But it also seemed out of character for Haleigh at that point in her metamorphosis. I think it could have been a little more believable if it had happened on her second visit. There are things that happen in that scene that do move the story forward so maybe that’s why the author wrote it that way.

This author shows a lot of potential. Readers who enjoy M/M/F groupings will find plenty to get overheated about with this little novella. This story leans more toward the SM side of BDSM and that was different for me but also good. I’ll be watching for more books by this author. Readers looking for new authors to follow should check her out as well.

Maya Rousseau’s fantasy vacation in Avignon, France, heats up when an eccentric enchantress tricks her into drinking mojo-laced absinthe. An unexpected encounter with the green fairy causes Maya’s reality to have a serious meltdown. She travels back in time and wakes up naked in the bed of her favorite bad-boy Bohemian artist, the tall, dark and mysterious André Bosco. There’s nothing wrong with that—except it’s 1903.

For André, it’s love at first sight. He begs Maya to become his cherished model, muse and lover. The chemistry and shared passion between them are overwhelming. André’s a generous-hearted dream man, but there’s a catch. Every hour they spend together bonds them tighter and time is running out. The same powers that flung Maya back to 1903 are preparing to snatch her back.

With a hundred and ten years separating these soul-bound lovers, it’s uncertain whether they can find a happy ending without the help of a little magic and La Fée Verte.

This was a refreshing time travel story because it didn’t take itself too seriously with paradoxes and worries about exact science or ripple effects in time. What was relevant was the romance between André and Maya – how they met, what they did and how their love grew. It’s a story of two people whose only difference, besides being man and woman, was being born in a different time and country.

I have to smile because all the tricky explanations of how many things are able to happen in the first place can be summed up in one word – magic. The author had fun wrapping the fabric of time around her finger and created a very interesting world of possibility. It’s said that with all things, love makes the impossible, possible. Ms. Leon certainly explored the sticky wicket of what happens if someone says or does the wrong thing back in time and affects the current time. I liked what she came up with. It was inventive, unique and although some critics would say it was a trifle too pat, I say, it’s magic, and magic defies logic. So just sit back and enjoy a good tale. The author delivers some solid entertainment in Fairy in the Flesh.

I enjoyed how André’s character was depicted. He’s passionate, emotional, but not in a wimpy whiny kind of way, and a lustsome man with strong urges. Yet, he’s reverent too and all of that handsome yumminess is focused on Maya. The author wrote some delightfully sexy scenes with a few naughty shenanigans thrown in for extra spice, like a brief moment of voyeurism. There is a BDSM flavor to a couple of the scenes but nothing that falls into the standard definition of that kind of relationship. I liked how carried away they sometimes got as well as how each encounter sparked a creative genius in the hero and a strengthening love in Maya. In essence, they were seducing each other.

The ending is a sweet happy ever after. The difference Maya’s love had on André is never more clear or as profound as what is revealed at the end. At one point I was aghast that she was arrested. But never fear. Ms. Leon knew exactly what she was doing and I was wowed by that clever twist. I think it was that part that made this story so much better. I was surprised and emotionally shocked because by then I was invested in caring for the heroine. How could the author DO that to her? The answer was astounding.

Fairy in the Flesh is a good story. It has its surprises but it’s the chemistry and fireworks between André and Maya that drew me in and kept me. I loved the descriptions of the magic at work and although it conveniently removed any complications from the lack of logic, I was fine with that. It allowed me to concentrate on the good stuff – the hero and heroine and their fiery, wild and oh-so-satisfying sex life and the proof of the power of love. What’s not to like about that?

This is book #2 in the Immortal Embrace series. It is set in an intriguing supernatural world that I intend on exploring right along with Erin Simone. Yes. That really does mean that I’ve gotten hooked on the series. Now, let me tell you why that is.

Our hero, Christian Voss, was one sexy vampire. He was an alpha male to the hundredth degree, with an arrogant attitude, but he had a vulnerable soul that complimented all that. He a sadness about him that was touching. Then his world collides with the force that was Emma, the undercover operative sent to infiltrate his coven.

Things heated up immediately for these two fated mates. There were lots of sexy times with the instant mate chemistry that kicked in on the spot. Things started happening at a super fast speed, though they had a lot standing in the way of their mate bond. They started out as enemies with misconceptions. Emma had emotional drama, freaking out left and right. Yeah, she did the dumb chick spin out a few times and put everyone at risk. The author cleverly threw in surprise twists all along the way, with a big secret about Emma’s past. Then, the drama thickened and it was Christian’s turn to be stupid. So in a nutshell, this one had plenty of drama, action and sexy times. The writing was excellent, without any mistakes that stood out. I am happy to say that it was a great book!

Against all of Randall’s expectations, Isaiah turns out to be exactly what he’s looking for, and for the first time Randall’s heart gets involved. Randall doesn’t know whether Isaiah is truly interested in him or just playing the player, but to find out, Randall will do whatever Isaiah wants.

Randall had been mired in work, so his cousin, Brad, brings him to a party to try and relax, and maybe get laid. Spotting the table with free food and drink, Randall makes a beeline for it – hungry in more than one way. When reaching for the rum, he literally bumps into Isaiah, a white-blond, tanned demi-god who appears hot enough to singe Randall’s fantasies. Randall is usually a one night stand kind of guy, but something about Isaiah makes him want for things usually well off his to-do list. Isaiah appears to feel the same, and things move quickly for the two men. But when Isaiah leaves, Randall discovers a one-hour-stand isn’t enough anymore, and he needs to find Isaiah to prove it.

I’ve not read a lot of M/M, but I found this novella quite appealing. I enjoy reading things from the male perspective, and this book certainly whet my appetite for more. I feel the author has really nailed the male point of view, which is somewhat different to the female. There’s less emotional connection and more of a focus on the act of sex and what they want to do or have done to them. Randall’s voice is also really clear, he’s initially not interested in making a deep soul connection, or searching through a bunch of candidates to find his ideal partner, he wants an excellent fuck and a good time. Rough as it sounds, I still thought this was very tastefully – and sexily – written. I enjoyed the straight forward manner of Randall’s telling the story and despite his insistence on not wanting a connection I could still see the small threads that bound Randall and Isaiah as they came together. Isaiah seemed more than up for the challenge Randall posed and I had a feeling from the beginning this would be a very different experience for Randall.

While this won’t be every reader’s cup of tea, I genuinely enjoyed it. Partly for the different perspective, partly for the hot M/M sex, but also partly because Isaiah was this lovely mix of sweet and domineering. The author did a great job of having Isaiah dominant enough to pull off topping Randall, but it was clear there was a genuine connection on his part from the beginning. I found that added a sense of sweetness to his claiming of Randall’s ass. I was a little disappointed that in a few places there were repetitive phrases which pulled me out of the fantasy of the story a little, but not enough to really ruin anything for me. The plot of finding Isaiah after their quick fuck at the party was a little thin, but I felt there was enough tension in Randall’s rapidly changing perspective on relationships to help move this story along.

A good read and an author I’d definitely look up again.

Hannah Buckner is having an affair—with the shower attachment, the bathtub faucet, her husband’s pillow, and anything else she can fit between her thighs. And it’s about time her husband knew in vivid detail how she spends her lonely nights.

At a superficial glance, amerikabulteni.com cialis usa online may seem like a sideshow attraction, but it has been verified to be among the most popular pills that can be taken before anticipated sexual activity. Half a world away, Danny Buckner is hoping for cookies, but a whiff of Hannah’s latest letter has a familiar scent that has nothing to do with baking and everything to do with being hot. Better than phone sex and more addictive than chocolate, her letter leaves nothing to the imagination. And Danny has a few details of his own to share.

Months of foreplay in lust letters that threaten to singe the paper they are written on are teasers for the main event when Hannah’s Marine finally comes home and takes his naughty wife in hand.

Hannah Buckner misses her husband Danny like crazy. His three month deployment has felt like forever, and the fact all the other wives also missed their respective husbands and bitched to her hasn’t helped matters. The simple joy of finding a letter from Danny when she returns home goes a long way to improving Hannah’s mood. Feeling naughty, she writes a scorching, explicit letter in return to him… and hungrily awaits the response.

I really enjoyed this story and found that it started out totally different, refreshingly so. Hannah and Danny are separated by a huge distance, but their love and desire for each other is clear to see. Learning of their relationship through their letters and actions while alone was a breathtakingly different way to look at an erotic romance. There’s still heaps of heat and sparkling chemistry, and the fact they’re married and apart from each other doesn’t lessen this one iota. I found this to be a titillating view into how a married couple could keep the fire alive (and burning!) when life and work keeps them physically apart.

There is plenty of sexual action by their own hands in the first half and finally face-to-face in the latter stages of the book. I feel the author should be commended on how the love and lust both Hannah and Danny felt for each other really shone through. Even though they missed being together, neither were bitter, or resented the fact they were apart. Each were mature and understanding – both of each other and the situation. Their coming together when Danny’s given a month’s leave is smoking hot, and a brilliant culmination from lots of foreplay. Readers who need a fully resolved ending might feel this short story doesn’t tie up all the loose ends – but I still enjoyed the place where the story finished. While a short post-script would have been nice, having a few unanswered questions doesn’t lessen the impact of the emotion-fueled tale this told. This is a refreshingly different tale, full of steamy sex and a huge amount of anticipation making the final party that much sweeter. Recommended.
