With magic in the air, they fall into Kim’s bed. What follows is a playful and rather creative reunion.

Second chances don’t come along every day. Will Kim and Ava get one?

Whipping up the right amount of chemistry in a short story isn’t easy, but Ms. Starke makes it look effortless. Kim and Ava’s longing for one another felt as real as their occasionally sensitive reactions to their memories of the big breakup. I don’t know if the author intends to revisit these characters, but I’d be interested in hearing from them again in the future if she does.

The dialogue sometimes veered into awkward turns of phrases and sentences that explained things in a little bit too much detail. These characters have known each other for so long that they could have gotten away with a lot less verbal communication as their sex scenes heated up. Giving them more opportunities to give nonverbal consent would have also made more sense given everything that’s revealed about the relationship they once had with one another.

As mentioned in the blurb, this short story is part of a series. It can easily be read out of order or as a standalone piece since each instalment focuses on a different couple and the brief backstory is quickly explained in the opening scene. I do recommend checking out the rest of the Click Me tales if you enjoy this one, though, as there are certain similarities among them that are interesting to pick out.

Play Date is a good choice for anyone in the mood for something hot and heavy that can be finished in one sitting.

Aubree is infatuated with two men, Max and Ryan. The two former Marines have been her close friends ever since she made her first misguided attempt at joining their kickboxing classes. When the pair invites her to join them at a weekend party thrown by Drew, a famous MMA champion, she has no idea what they have in mind. After spending one hot ménage night with the pair, Aubree learns the men’s intentions are not all about her. Feeling betrayed, Aubree turns to Drew who is also tugging at her heart. She must choose between the two men who have been the center of her fantasies, and the one man who could make all her dreams come true.

Powerful cialis tadalafil 50mg herbs present in this herbal pill heal damaged nerves and tissues and dilates the blood vessels. It gets pretty hot and intense inside of an MMA fight ring but the real action takes place after the fight.

Aubree Holiday grew up in the world of kick boxers and MMA fighters thanks to her father who had worked and trained fighters. Since the accident that claimed her parents lives, she has avoided the people and the places that held so many memories. Two sexy, long time friends and one outrageous champion bring her full circle to remind her of the reasons why her childhood was happy and full of people who mattered. There same men will be the source of some smoking hot sheet action but also a reason to doubt her ability to trust herself.

This book pulled my emotions in so many directions. One minute I just knew she going to get a weekend to remember with the two hot guys she’s fantasized about forever, and in a way does, but then the author totally threw me for a loop by introducing a third guy. Drew is totally a flirt and player, on the outside. Much like his fighting style, he doesn’t hold anything back and Aubree isn’t sure what to make of him. But she likes it and him once she gets to know him.

Max and Ryan are all kinds of alpha hot. They’re possessive about Aubree and give her multiple reasons to want to be with them. I could have easily rooted for these guys. Plans are made and carried out and that has consequences. I was surprised by their reasons for doing what they did but not in a bad way. I simply didn’t anticipate it and that added to the story.

This is a short story and it moves really fast, which is good since it is short, but when I read the blurb it alluded to there being some M/M action. It is there but if a reader is thinking it’s an MMF menage, they’re going to be disappointed. On the other hand, readers who enjoy books where the guys are totally focused on the girl between them, will be quite happy. Ms. Parkerson built plenty of tension into this short story. Right up until there’s a no going back point, I could have believed and would have been satisfied with whomever Aubree chose. But that point does happen and the story plays out accordingly. I felt that it did end in an HEA, especially for Aubree but it also had closure for all parties involved.

Unsurpassed is the first book in Ms. Parkerson’s No Rival series. The second book sounds like it is just as exciting and nail biting so I’ll be adding it to my TBR list. Readers looking for alpha men with a penchant for mild BDSM should give this hot read a try.

It’s hard to figure out someone else’s sexual orientation when they never give out any hints about it, but that isn’t about to stop Kate from putting all of the pieces together.

I immediately liked Kate’s honest, no-nonsense approach to life. She seems like the kind of person who always lets other people know where they stand with her rather than making them guess. It was the perfect attitude for this character to have, especially given all of the drama that is about to come her way.

Quite a few stereotypes about bisexual women were included in this story. It’s one thing to acknowledge their existence, but I was surprised by how easily the characters assumed they were true and should be applied to everyone who is attracted to more than one gender. Given everything else these characters reveal about themselves, these preconceived ideas felt even more out of place for their personalities and the plot than they would have otherwise.

The chemistry in this tale was explosive. Stephanie and Kate are a great match for each other in bed. While I was initially surprised by how their physical relationship begins, enough tension was built up beforehand for it to make sense. Writing it that way also lead to some pretty intense scenes, and once I knew where the author was headed I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Rough Landing is a good choice for anyone in the mood for something short and hot. Why not give it a try today?

But their deepening attraction may not survive a little white lie…and an even bigger, darker secret.

Social media is a double-edged sword. Luckily, Neve has never been one to back down from doing what she thinks is the right thing to do even when it comes at a personal cost.

My first impression of Neve was quite positive, and my appreciation for her earnestness only grew stronger as her story progressed. At first glance, she comes across as a sweet, kind small business owner, but it didn’t take me long to realize that she has a steel spine as well. Even her faults endeared me to her due to how realistic and relevant they were to her life.

I would have liked to see more attention paid to the development of Judy’s personality. She’s an attractive woman, but after finishing this novella I felt like I knew some of the secondary characters better than her. Figuring out why she was interested in Neve was easy. It would have been helpful, though, to have a few more examples of the personality traits that Neve finds appealing in Judy.

With that being said, Judy and Neve’s friends, employees, and customers make up a strong supporting cast. I was intrigued by every single one of them, although I will admit to finding Judy’s best friend, Rachael, the most interesting one of them all. Rachael’s carefree attitude and carnal approach to her free time lent a humorous vibe to the plot on more than one occasion.

Sugar Rush was a treat to read from beginning to end. This is a good choice for anyone in the mood for something sweet and satisfying.

Will her crush get in the way of her career or can she find a way to push the other woman out of her mind before it’s too late?

It’s common to develop a crush on a coworker, but is it always a bad idea to act on those feelings?

Poor Virginia is a bundle of nerves. Some of the things she worries about are absolutely legitimate, but there were a few times when I wanted to give her a hug and tell her to try assuming the best about what other people are thinking instead for while. She’s the kind of character this fellow worrywart can’t help but to sympathize with due to how much detail was packed into every one of her internal monologues. Figuring out how to shut down those unhelpful thoughts isn’t easy, but it’s sure nice to know that you’re not the only one trying to tune them out!

The first sex scene caught me by surprise. I knew it was coming eventually, of course, but it felt premature due to everything else that is going on as well as the serious nature of the scenes that sandwich it. Delaying it until certain subplots found their resolutions would have earned this book a much higher rating.

Speaking of subplots, I wasn’t expecting to find so many of them in this piece. Each one adds depth to Virginia’s backstory and personality. It was entertaining to see how they all eventually tied together. While they could have been expanded into a full-length novel, they worked just as well in a novella of this length. There is definitely room for a sequel, though, if Ms. Felthouse ever decides to write one.

Sweet Spot was a fun ride. This is a great choice for anyone in the mood for a well-developed tale whose secondary story lines are nearly as interesting as the main event.

Wow, what a great premise for a story. I really enjoyed Debt of Honor. It romps along at a great pace, has sexy, real characters and loads of the juicy stuff. It flicks between both points of view so you get to see what both Derek and Kaitlin are thinking.

Kaitlin is fiery and also one hell of a determined woman who clearly loves her brother – well it’s his debt! She’s also not afraid of Derek and his alpha ways. I have waited a long time for this one. At last comes Mating Brand, the long awaited third book in Laurann Dohner’s Mating Heat series. I must say that it was well worth the wait.

Brand is finally reunited with Charma in this book. Devoted readers will remember the lost love that he revealed to his cousins in the previous book. Curiosity had me anxious about what happened to tear them apart. Dohner didn’t keep me in the dark long. It was extenuating circumstances that led to their long seperation. Poor Charma. She can’t turn away again so she burns her bridges and rushes to warn her love of impending danger.

I loved Brand and Charma together. I felt the story started off strong and kept up the intensity right up until the end. Brand was a hot alpha hero who didn’t waste any time claiming his mate this time around. They make up for lost time in the bedroom too. There was a great deal of conflict in the story because they are supposed to be natural enemies. The plot was riveting with plenty of action when the big pussies attack and lives are in danger. Okay !!! I couldn’t help myself. *grin* It was well developed with family bonds and Pack dynamics being explored. All the characters were intriguing and, and yes, I need to read everyone’s story. Especially Rave and Von.

It was no surprise to me that this book was very well written. It was put together quite nicely with a solid plot while at the same time being deliciously dirty. It was an engaging and fast paced read. I read it in one sitting because I didn’t want to put it down. Now, I’m really hoping there will be more books in the series, and that I won’t have to wait so long for the next one.

I happily recommend this book. It’s a great erotic paranormal romance.

Being out of control is the last thing Kathleen wants, and Jake tempts her to be the wild woman she used to be. He’s too hot, too disturbing, too stirring for her blood. But when gunfire strikes close, the fight for survival will forge a bond deeper than they ever imagined.

Inside Scoop: The couples in the Love Under Fire series find love through the crucible of a mall shooting event.

Kathleen McSwain has been the bridesmaid seven times without walking down the aisle once for herself. But she can’t turn her friend down when asked for an eighth time even if it means being in close proximity to Jake Frasier for a while. They share a history, and not a pleasant one, but Kathleen is determined to prove that as a woman she’s nothing like the insecure schoolgirl she’d once been. But when they’re out shopping in the mall Jake and Kathleen find themselves trapped in a storage closet with a mad gunman on the loose, beating on the door. Everything boils down to an undeniable fact. Jake and Kathleen still have plenty of unresolved feelings, and nowhere to hide from them.

I enjoyed the tension this book opened up with. While there’s the weight of unresolved history between Jake and Kathleen the three people they end up trapped with are also well drawn characters. Their discussions add to the tension and realism of the situation. Without actually having ever been caught in a crazed gun-man situation, I feel as if the scene Ms Agnew wrote could easily have been how people could react in such circumstances. Then the after-effects of such an emotional scene also seemed to roll on in a logical and wonderfully emotional manner. The author has a real flair for action packed, tension filled romance. I really felt for both Jake and Kathleen, for the complexities of their situation and the massive ball of emotions they are. Complex, multi-layered characters are a soft spot of mine and this book really filled that need for me.

If you’re a sucker for a man in uniform like I am, and enjoy character-driven stories I’d recommend this read. There’s not much external plot, but I didn’t really even notice that, instead I was caught up in Jake and Kathleen, their emotions, their reactions and the situation they’ve found themselves in. There is a “Happy for Now” ending which I still found to be quite satisfying. This is the fourth of fifth book of Ms Agnew’s I’ve read in recent times and all of them have been well worth the time with varying stories that always suck me in. She’s now an auto-buy for me and this book lives up to my every expectation. Recommended.
