Leah Wright isn’t only Iron Maiden. She has a day job as well, and she’s in Chicago on business. But after a day dealing with crowds, she’s ready for some alone time. She takes to the sky, where she encounters an attractive stranger–one of Chicago’s own superheroes. One thing leads to another and she has a very good time.

When she returns the next evening her playmate has brought a friend. She soon discovers that the dynamic duo are very close, but more than willing to share the love, and the three of them make beautiful music together….

What an interesting premise for a story!

The characters in this story felt so real, they practically jumped off the pages. They all seemed so exciting, especially since they are supernatural protectors. You first get introduced to Leah and Jiang, and the sexual tension between these two practically vibrates the pages of the book. What woman would not love to be in a room with two gorgeous men that cannot only please her completely, but each other as well? The only negative thing I can say about this short story was I wish it was longer so I could get to know more about the characters. I was completely invested in their story.

If you need a sizzling quickie with great characters and a story so hot it’ll scorch your fingertips, then this is the story for you.

This is one hell of an after life!

Love ‘em and leave ‘em bar owner Shaw Ross Sorkin has a problem of the paranormal persuasion. Little does he know, his unwanted specter is not only feeding off the startles she gives his customers but also his sexual escapades both inside and outside the bar.

Screaming ghost Bo Takishora needs a master desperately. She thinks she’s found the perfect man in Shaw. The telepath has the regenerative powers required by her specific type of paranormal. The bonus is he’s also a Dominant.

It will take all Shaw’s skill to master this insatiable ghost.

Scream For Me is an interesting look at sex with a ghost. Not just any ghost but one that reminds me of a Banshee, but is not.

Bo is the lead female character and she’s looking for someone new to be the Dom to her sub. What she needs to survive with any kind of peace is a bit unusual, to say the least. She’s a cross between Jeannie in the T.V. series, I Dream Of Jeannie and one of the ghosts from Poltergeist. In order to have complete satisfaction and purchase levitra online to provide you with great customer service. The action mechanism, efficiency, dosage, tadalafil uk buy way of administration, safety steps are totally same. It buy viagra online is found to be very effective for the treatment of impotency cases in men. It’s necessary to ask the physician to accept cheap tadalafil to the supplement and suggest it. The difference is that the sex that can only be hinted at on T.V. is more than apparent in this story. Bo has a tormented past that a reader only gets a glimpse of. However, it’s enough to garner a bit of sympathy for her current eating habits.

The male lead that has the chance to take care of her has a few hoops to jump through in order to get the job. It requires a few very hot encounters to make the grade, and Shaw is more than man enough to make her toe the line and give her what she needs. He’s unique as well, with a talent that is honed to a fine edge. His skill is tested beyond what he ever expected. His control is also in question. I mean, it’s a very different idea that a human man could possibly control or order about a regular ghost never mind a frisky one. I liked that angle.

I sort of felt that the development of the “I love you’s” was a bit rushed, and based on a rather shallow platform, but that didn’t detract overly much from the overall interest in the story. I can also credit the author for putting together an HEA that is not the typical happily-ever-after most expect. It stays in line with who and what Bo is and that is to be commended.

Scream For Me is a different and macabre sort of romance story that gives a distinct and spooky edge to their love making. If a reader is looking for a paranormal love story on the dark side, then this book has a few unique offerings sure to fit the bill and is worth taking a look at.

Blake de Marco is a waiter, guitar player and a werewolf. Hating his curse and Lynette, he sets out to find a way to stop her only to find he is drawn by the scent of a beautiful woman.

Can their love withstand the truth or will Lynette’s destructive plan separate them forever?

Guardians come in all shapes and sizes. What draws me as a reader to them is the size of their heart. Ashling is an assassin with a heart. She has the unenviable task of stopping a werewolf victim from becoming a werewolf, and does it with courage, grace and compassion. She’s a lovely character to spend time with.

Hero Blake is a waiter by day and a werewolf by night. Now here’s a guy who likes to live dangerously – flirting with someone who hates his kind, kills his kind. How to get around that little technicality? Just don’t tell her – and pray to God she never finds out. Easier said than done.

The book was a short, quick read. The main characters were engaging and believable. I had a hard time with opening the book in the POV of a victim. Since readers tend to latch onto the first character they set eyes on in a book, killing him off on page two set me aback. I had to adjust to the “Whose story is this?” all over again. The weakness was in the editing. I think it could have used some tightening, some spots that would have worked better with less telling, more active tense. I wish it could have been longer. It wrapped up awfully fast.

But I enjoyed it overall. I liked spending time with Ashling and Blake, and I liked the pro-truthfulness theme. Lying to each other in a relationship never works out. Glad these two learned that.

With his father the fairy king demanding he find a mate, Prince Aislan is uptight, unsettled. He swears he’ll never put himself in a position as to give his heart to any female. Until he meets a human who possesses the tenderness for which he longs.

Tina doesn’t believe in wishes or fairy tales, so the last thing she expects to find is a man in the moonlight. One who seems to know exactly what she needs, shows her the magic world from where he comes, and makes her dreams come true…if only for a brief moment in time.

Every once in awhile you come across a book that grabs you and holds onto you even after you’ve turned the last page. Fated by Anna Leigh Keaton was one of those books for me.

Tina has come to the end of her rope. She’s dealing with some pretty serious issues that she’s pretty sure cannot be overcome. Tina is a heroine that I found myself rooting for from the get-go. I wanted her to have all her dreams come true, and I found I was incredibly invested in her happiness from the moment she’s introduced. I can’t say that I know how she felt, or understood what she was going through, as I have never had the issues that she was dealing with. But, I can say that I was there with her, I felt her pain and her joy and her wonder as if it were my own. It’s not often I get pulled so completely into a character.

Aislan is literally a Fairy Prince. He’s frustrated with his life, he’s frustrated with his father pushing him to find a mate and he’s convinced that he’s never going to only want one woman in his bed for the rest of his incredibly long life. All that changes when Tina walks into his life. I adored Aislan! His old-world charm was sweet and yet I didn’t feel that it was overdone or sappy. Another amazing character in Ms. The males fall prey of such hardships due to a number of activities, did not prove to be fruitful & thus, the medical analyzers have made efficient discoveries to a number of effective medicinal products which help for curing the problems of male impotency & also, purchase levitra online they do not have any side effects associated with the synthetic chemicals. If this is the case then you also need to avoid erection pills such as kamagra and order levitra http://www.donssite.com/OPTICALIILLUSIONS/next10.htm at a fraction of the cost of the original blue pills. When an individual go through erection order generic cialis problems, they are not capable of sustain, maintain or cause erection at all and then inevitably it moved on to not being able to enjoy all the pleasures of a wonderful and fulfilling love and romance life. Celebrate with the finest quality and honor the ritual of cialis 5 mg nourishing yourself. Keaton’s world, I fell in love with Aislan right along with Tina and wanted a fairy of my very own… as long as he was as hot and loving and considerate as Aislan.

I’m not sure that I can get across in words how much this story touched me. I didn’t just read about the pain and joy of the characters, I experienced it as if it were my own. I laughed and cried right along with them and asked for more. The love scenes were incredibly hot and sweet all at once, and that’s what they were from the very first encounter… love scenes. Never did it feel like a token sex scene to boost the heat rating. Each touch, each kiss was essential to the story and to the progression of their love. Rarely have I read a book that made me laugh and cry so much in such quick succession. Even when I was moved to tears I had to turn the page and see what would happen next. I was terrified that it wouldn’t work out for Tina and Aislan. Without revealing too much of the plot, I can say that the requisite, at least for me, HEA was reached and left me smiling, even as I dried my tears. Up to the last page this story was so evocative and so touching that I didn’t want it to end; I wanted to know more. I can’t ask for more in a book.

When you add in a set of secondary characters that weren’t superfluous, who had me just as invested as the main characters and this book is not to be missed. I will definitely be looking for more books from Anna Leigh Keaton and would recommend that you at least add Fated to your list of books to be read. A well deserved five cherries.

Do opposites really attract?

Can a man living only for today have anything in common with a woman who needs to carefully plan every moment of her life?

The tragic loss of his six year old son made Blake Callahan give up on the future. He lives only for today, having learned the hard way that no one is guaranteed a tomorrow. Could Victoria Templeton, a woman so consumed with tomorrow that she doesn’t allow today into her life, help him find his way back? And will Blake help Vicki realize she can’t shut out today without it costing her tomorrow?

Victoria Templeton just walked into the wrong beach house… or did she? She has the key and the lease agreement, but there is a man inside claiming that this is HIS house and she needs to leave.

Black Callahan has rented the house from his good friend for the next year to get away from it all. Now he’s shaken up when this anal retentive–albeit beautiful–woman walks into his rented house demanding that he leave, not to mention the fact her killer cat is after his blood.

Vicky can’t believe she wrote away half her bank account to a man claiming to be the rental agent for the property she needs for the next five months. She came with her cat, claws and all, and refuses to leave.

Vicky may be anal but she is an accountant and she has her life plan and every minute of her life must and always does follow a very precise schedule. No exceptions. She doesn’t know the pain he’s hiding, and when the truth comes out, she sees him in a whole new light. He’s not the shiftless beach bum she thought he was.

Watching the two main characters struggle to find their way was humbling. I did feel the love story happened a little too fast for me. But, Vicky and Blake’s lives are in such need of that love the story made me laugh and smile at a happy ending I was rooting for since their first interaction. I would recommend this read. It’s a beautiful love story, with a psychotic cat and almost devastating misunderstandings. Vicky and Blake find their way through the darkness finding happiness in each other and a love they can count on.

Ms. Knight writes an interesting story of a love gone wrong and then redeemed. I liked the sumptuous atmosphere of the party and how quickly Chad and Cinnamon (aka Stephani) found each other. You felt like you were one of the revelers.

As the heroine, I initially felt Stephani came across as a bit of a snob and a social climber. Yes, she wanted to be loved, but she made it seem like money made her tick more than the man she loved. I respected her decision to keep up her guard until the last moment. The reader could identify with her strength.

As the hero, I thought Chad could’ve been a bit stronger. He made no qualms with the indiscriminant sex, but as with Stephani, he redeemed himself and made me really like him as the hero. He poured his heart out for the woman of his dreams and showed he wasn’t the superficial jerk she thought he was. This story showed people could change if they truly wanted to.

The love scenes in this novella scorched the pages. Although the first few times seemed like a pent up release, once the lovers realized the identities, the passion flowed and made the story powerful.

If you want a story that will keep you engrossed from page one, then you need to read Unmasking Cinnamon. I give this novella 4 cherries.

Desperate, he offers to buy water rights from the local Brothel Madame, Lily Barnett. But, Lily is not one to be taken advantage of! Her terms include that their contract only lasts a single week at a time and he must pleasure her in bed prior to each renewal!

Set in the 1880’s of West Texas, “Ride a Cowboy” is the story of ex-con cattle rancher, Wade MacReynolds whose water supply has been cut of by the locals. He is desperate to keep his herd alive because he has to get his cattle to market in order to pay restitution to stay out of prison for a bank robbery he didn’t commit. His only chance is if he can convince the local brothel madam to let him buy water rights from her land.

Lily Barnett is willing to strike a deal, but only on her own terms. A woman who has spent her lifetime pleasing men decides that once and for all a man is going to return the favor. All her life, Rae Morgan tried to escape from the shadow of the Superstition Mountains. She joined the Army to do just that. However, after losing her hand and her marriage, she’s back. All she wants is peace and a chance to put her life back together. But peace is the last thing she finds.

Mica Hawke is only half-Apache. But when it comes to keeping a Native American treasure hidden deep within the mountains, he’s all warrior. On the lookout for a treasure map stolen fifty years ago, the last thing he expected to find was love.

Rae is a strong character that has been through some severe misfortune, and I admired how she works hard to get her life back. In today’s superficial world, I could certainly understand the self-consciousness she feels about her physical scars. Her embarrassment comes through when her physical limitations become apparent and I really felt for her, but she moves on and doesn’t linger in the awkwardness, showing her strength. She is, however, a little too kind-hearted, in my opinion. She shows compassion for people that had made terrifying threats on her life, which I can’t understand. Maybe it’s just me, but if someone threatened to kill me, I’d be thrilled if they got what was coming to them! But her reactions to Mica are steamy and provocative, and I wanted to see them together.

Mica is appealing and mysterious and I adored him. I loved how even though shy, he kisses the stuffing out of Rae in desperation, thinking he’ll never get another chance. They didn’t really know each other at the time, but his impulsiveness makes the event unforgettable for both of them, and raised the sexual tension for me as I watched them find their way to each other. I also respected his dedication to preserving his heritage, at all costs, making him that much more tempting.

I had a couple of issues with the story. Mica witnesses something before they begin their journey into the mountains, but he says or does nothing about it, which, in the context of the setting and potential danger, made no sense to me. I understand that what he sees is disclosed to increase the suspense, but the reveal could have been communicated from the perpetrator’s point of view, accomplishing the same thing, but without the contrived feel. I also thought that there were a few references, particularly by Rae, to anatomy and the sex act that came off as vulgar. It wasn’t that I was offended, it just didn’t seem appropriate to the situation. When they are having sex or about too? Sure. But when she’s in mortal danger? I don’t think so. I’d be worrying how to get my fanny out of trouble, not thinking about jumping a guy; I don’t care how hot he is! But even with these two minor points, I did find the plot attention-grabbing and I held on for the rollercoaster-like twists and turns.

“Fool’s Gold” is an interesting saga of Native American folklore, treasure maps and deception. Mixed in with dream visions and missed opportunities made right, I found Mica and Rae’s adventure to be an intriguing ride.

Review: A Dangerous Craving

A Dangerous Craving
By Amy Redwood

Chloe likes to steal–for her it s better than sex. For the last thirteen weeks, she steals flowers, and fantasizes about the man in the flower shop. When he catches her red-handed, she has the choice to turn fantasy into reality.

Daniel is a successful artist–a painter. While his sister recovers from an accident, he runs her flower shop–and tries to cope with his blocked creativity. Fascinated by the woman who steals each Friday a single flower, he hatches a plan to catch her and seduce her.

Whoa…seriously, whoa! I just finished A Dangerous Craving. I don’t usually read stories this hot, but this was surprisingly good. Amy Redwood takes the reader on a wild ride from start to finish. The first thing I noticed was the ease of her style of writing. There was nothing jarring or out of place. There is no purple prose. The pace was quite fast; the book is only 38 pages long.

As for the content itself, it’s pure fantasy. I don’t condone stealing or unprotected sex with strangers, but that’s why it’s fantastical. This is definitely a ‘bed time book’. Put the kiddies to bed and give the flannel pj’s the night off! I think I might read it again. Bravo Amy Redwood!
