I found the first part of the story a little slow but by the middle of the book things really started to pick up and the action became enthralling and brought me to the edge of my seat; I was able to get to know the characters’ personalities before getting entwined in too deeply in the plot and started biting my nails. There was enough entertainment that I could over look the few editing errors and still enjoy the story.

I really like the enchanted plot, sex scenes and spice that went along with it and would love to see the king’s sister Moira get a book of her own. I will be adding Ms. Day to my list of authors just so I can keep track and see if Moira’s story shows up in the future. Definitely a good read for a summer afternoon by the pool, but be warned, you may need a dip after all the heat in this fairy tale.

The quality of writing was excellent in every way… the story engrossing, the characters delicious, the sex scorching and wild. I was so drawn in by the characters’ experiences that it was like living it myself.

Most of all, this is a tension-filled action thriller that means serious business. I was struck by the realistic nature of the story and the razor sharp accuracy with which Ms. Holt captures the current state of world affairs. The addition of very believable psychic ability and the important role it plays in every part of this book was a key part of my enjoyment and interest. My only problems with the story were a few editing errors and a sense of abruptness at the end. After such an emotional and tension-filled ride, I longed for just a little more of an ending. An epilogue for the lovers after Mark had recovered from his ordeal would have been great.

Despite that, the book was an exceptional read that I do not hesitate to recommend to all. It truly and fully engaged me emotionally and mentally. I loved the creative way the author developed the characters and scenes in this story, further involving me in it’s adventure and steaming romance. My advice is, go buy Jungle Inferno and prepare to burn!

This book is the first in the Phoenix Agency series, and I eagerly await the next installment.

I enjoyed this Christmas fantasy, and Amber Skze did a good job of heating up the pages in Naughty St. Nick Though I felt that the story could have elaborated more on why the characters were attracted to each other in the first place, I can honestly say this book did not lack on the sex scenarios.

It may be the middle of winter in this story, but this reader had to fan herself just to cool down a bit after reading these sizzling scenes. As with all short stories I pouted a bit because the story was not longer, but this tale definitely makes a gal wish to find her very own Naughty St. Nick!

So…why not settle in with a hot little tale that may just leave you feeling as though some fantasies might come true after-all. Who knows? There could be a “Naughty Nick” in your future too! Wonder what toys he might leave me?

The sex is white hot and very well written. There’s a lot feeling underneath the surface in the sexual scenes, wonderful use of subtlety and subtext. The prose is clear and crisp.

I loved the way the author chose to end their story, it’s just right for the characters and this story. Any other ending would have felt inauthentic. This is a perfect short story, sexy with a satisfying HEA.
