I think the secrecy presented at the beginning of this story gives it an exciting little twist. Kyler has no idea who these two guys are in his room but he quickly recognizes one thing — they want more than just a few dollars. They want his body and he is helpless to do anything about it. These two strangers also awake something inside of him he had been trying to hide and not knowing who they are added to his arousal. As a reader I was both appalled and exhilarated all at once so I can imagine how Kyler felt.

I have included spanking as a tag for this story, but it’s really whipping. This whipping does not draw blood but it is part of the foreplay. So if whipping is not necessarily your kink, you may want to skip past that part. Also I want to clarify that this is a forced seduction scene not a rape scene. When I read the blurb and started the story I was a little worried that the scene would start as rape prior to Kyler consenting to his assailants but that is not the case.

It is a shame this is such a short story because with the storyline he had the potential to be a great full length story. I also think the author left enough room for them to create a follow-up full length story so hopefully we will see that in the future. In the meantime enjoy this quickly just as I did.

I was intrigued when I picked up this ebook. Twentysomethingtwinks.com. Interesting concept—men on camera having sex. As I got more into it, I was a bit let down. Yes, there are some really hot scenes, but I wanted to read more of the romance of the situation. The sex is hot, but I wanted more.

You really feel like you’re there on the beach with these guys as they explore the boundaries of sex. The thunder rages outside and the rain slips sideways while the candles flicker inside. It sounds romantic and sexy. For the gentlemen involved, it is quite raunchy, no-holds-barred, and hot.

I didn’t feel there was a clear-cut hero in this story, but rather a guy trying to figure out what he wants out of life—apparently men, lots of men. Hey, the reader can identify because lots of people fantasize about group sex. Although I realize that the site the guys work for doesn’t emphasize romance and commitment, I wanted to see more. I know there was a bit there, but it wasn’t enough.

This story fleshes out the secondary characters only to the point of illustrating a point or element about Vassili. The Three Horsemen of the Black Forest is sure to appeal to those readers who enjoy unique twists on well known fairy tales flavored with a bit of sauce, spice and hunky male loving. And for those who always felt that Cinderella’s step-siblings should have been made to toe the line at some point, readers will be in for a treat in this book. It’s pretty cool.

Like any dedicated fantasy reader, I am attracted by the promise of dragons. The title Dreaming of Dragons, especially since the previous title contained dragons as well, certainly promised. The ideas, the premises, behind the story are interesting and often unique (Mordred as an agent of balance rather than a bitter bastard son regarding his role in Arthur’s demise, St. George as his, initially, reluctant conquest, the invasion of magical beings into the modern world) but none of it quite lived up to the initial promise.

The book is at its best when dealing with Mordred and George’s relationship. Their back story is told with a certain ironic humor and I did enjoy Mordred’s persistent and careful seduction of the dragon slayer. The human pair in all this, Hugh and Kael, are quite sweet together but in this story they seem more along for the ride and the reader who has not met them previously doesn’t really get a chance to become attached. The baddies were immediately evident, there were no real surprises and no good explanations at the end. I wanted dragons, I wanted werewolves and terrible battles – which there were, certainly, but all off-scene. The one scene in which George does get to fight a dragon (and the reader gets to be there) seemed much too effortless and the dragon’s demise was a bit bizarre. While I liked Mordred as a character, we spend far too much time with him as he turns in circles and endlessly repeats himself.

All that aside, the scenes between Mordred and George are worth the read. Scenes from their past, erotic scenes from the present, ones which highlight both the love and the tension between are, without a doubt, enjoyable reading.
