Wilde, Nevada is proving to be more troubling than Jessie imagined, when, just as she falls for one hot cowboy, feelings also spring up for his brother Phoenix. Though it’s crazy and not without risk, she can’t help but welcome his possessive embrace.

Phoenix knows she’s the woman for him─and his four brothers. But there are those in Wilde who want to destroy them. Phoenix must win Jessie’s love, or they might lose their hearts. And their lives.

Jessie may have lost her virginity in Wilde, Nevada but what she’s found with the brothers Wilde is worth more than all the silver this little cow town can mine in a year!

When last we visited Wilde, Jessie Green had been sent to investigate the multiple accidents that had plagued the mine and the Wilde family who owned and operated it. Jessie met and became intimately acquainted with four of the Wilde brothers. Youngest brother Jackson made the first impression on the inexperienced Jessie but she wasn’t unaffected by any of the sexy cowboys. In book two of The Brothers of Wilde, Nevada lucky readers get to know the multifaceted and talented Phoenix Wilde.

Phoenix caught my attention in book one because he seemed so serious. I really thought he would be harder to win over but next to Jackson he’s one of the first to really realize that Jessie may be their “one”.

Ms. Lang has a really terrific writing voice. She’s vivid and detailed without coming across and just trying to fill pages with flowery words. There is a point where Jessie is comparing Phoenix to the men she’s met in Manhattan and is noting the difference in their handling of women. Ms. Lang writes that “his manner was of a former era where women were spoiled rotten, cherished, and protected”. It is store house of calcium, potassium, viagra uk online iron, magnesium, copper, manganese etc. Thankfully, a brand of medicine known as viagra no consultation is invented to help cure the problem. It comes out and shines more brightly. order sildenafil However, since it is way less effective than prescription chemicals, one must consume larger quantities of it to notice an improvement in the symptoms. online pharmacy viagra This is what I meant by vivid writing. You get a feel for the characters inside and out. Ms. Lang gives the reader brilliant insight into the thoughts of Jessie and Phoenix through POV changes throughout this short story. Readers better understand their emotions and motivation which breathes reality into their budding relationship.

There are plenty of “awww…” moments in Wilde Fire. Likewise, the danger is still present in Wilde so the underlying plot by an unknown evil will keep the reader on their guard for the next “accident”. This reviewer was highly anticipating the first time Jessie would meet oldest brother, Austin. It was worth the wait and it was filled with terrific tension. Jessie has just enough submissive in her to tweak his Dominant side and before they part ways the reader knows that Austin is more than a little interested.

Jessie is slowly accepting the fact that the brothers share her but is beginning to question their nontraditional tendency. Will she still be able to accept the brothers when she realizes they are looking for a forever kind of girl? And, did Jackson Wilde actually invent phone sex? Okay, probably not but you do not want to miss that conversation!

If this is your first trip to Wilde it isn’t too late to go back and read book one, Going Wilde, to get a first look and how it all began. These books are written with one story flowing into the next so I highly recommend reading them in order. If you’re hooked into Siren’s LoveXtreme line like I am and if you’re looking for a really fun author to follow, pick up Chloe Lang’s Wilde, Nevada series. You’ll walk away a fan of the writing and an automatic buy for the writer.

Mai isn’t impressed when she discovers her friend has set her up on a surprise blind date, but a bad date is the least of her worries. She is about to discover that humans aren’t the only predators walking the streets of Toronto. Now, Mai faces two choices—returning to her safe world alone or standing up to not one but two of the most dominant men she has ever met.

Twin werewolves, Vencel and Gaspar, escaped their war-torn homeland and discovered a new home in the wilds of Algonquin Park. They never expected to find their mate in a fragile, human woman. Convincing her of their true natures proves harder than they anticipated, especially now that an old enemy has found them and is threatening to destroy their new home and family.

Agoraphobia has never had such a sexy cure as the one found within the pages of Caress of Fur.

Gaspar and Vencel are brothers who’re mired in a bit of personal dilemma. I found their personalities to be unique to each character. One is smooth and quite intuitive and the other is sort of gruff and rough around the edges. The author spared no expense in choosing words to describe some very yummy males. Their emotions run from hope, despair, amusement, and then when they set their sights on the heroine, Mai, their focus is intense and possessive. In a good way.

Mai is a woman who has spiraled downwards into an emotional abyss and she can’t seem to see a way out. She’s sweet as can be but slow to trust and fearful of the outside world. I liked how the author built up the story until Mai figured out what she needed to cure her panic attacks. Not only does it work but the cure brings with it the promise of untold happiness, a brighter future than she imagined and one heck of a conflict.

Gaspar and Vencel came from a war torn country and hoped to build a permanent life in their new home in Canada. The complication arises when a person get sexually stimulated and fail to fulfill the brand viagra no prescription desire, this make the penile engorge, stiff and the nerves narrow in form, which obstructs the blood reach towards the penis results penis erection and a term called erectile dysfunction. But sometimes bad things follow good people to either drag them down or destroy them. It’s a measure of their moral strength and physical fortitude and also who you know that can make a difference in the right direction. Sometimes that comes with a price and I liked the choice the author had them make. The conflict was just the right amount to spice up the story without taking over.

When Mai finally realizes that Gaspar and Vencel aren’t playing a joke on her, well, not intentionally, but that’s another conflict –she has to make the choice to get beyond her fears and her uncertainty and chose to trust. That journey is very sexy and the author did a nice job of fanning the flames of passion between the characters. It was a bit rocky at times which made for some entertaining reading and it wouldn’t have been as much fun if Mai hadn’t made them work for it. She may have her issues but she’s a smart woman and I liked that.

The secondary characters were a nice touch because they introduced some key plot shifts and revelations. I liked Mai’s best friend and I thought the woman’s husband was terrific too.

Caress of Fur is a delightful and very steamy story sure to entertain paranormal romance readers looking for a quick alpha fix. The story has its humorous moments and I thought it funny that even an alpha can have allergies. What a cute touch. It also has a satisfying happily ever after that appealed to me.

Ms. Davies kept me entertained and interested throughout the story and I’m glad I got to review it.

Properly-brought-up Southern boy Jonathan Lattimore doesn’t begin to question his family’s expectations until his parents come to visit him in New York City. Faced with their blatant disapproval of his lifestyle, Jonathan listens to a friend’s urging to cut their apron strings. This year, rather than using his vacation time to return home, Jonathan takes a half-share in a summer house on Fire Island.

The “gay Garden of Eden” may be very different than the one he learned about in Sunday school, but as Jonathan discovers, the freedom it offers comes close to his idea of paradise.

Expectations aren’t supposed to drag you down. What do you do when you can’t seem to surface?

That’s the question bubbling in Jonathan’s mind. He knows there has to be more out there than the little town in Georgia and the grouchy looks from his parents, but darned if he can get past all of it.

This is my first offering from author Edward von Behrer, but I am looking for more. The writing is tight and flows well. I didn’t want to look away from the screen. The scenes have descriptive verbage that painted lovely pictures of Jonathan, Sean, Giovanni, and the Fire Island scene.

What I loved the most about this story was the path Jonathan takes. Those are more important and easier to buy viagra tabs diagnose. Readers can identify with his need to make the family proud while battling his confusion as to how to make himself happy.

Although there is a delicious build-up in this story, the ending comes about rapid fire. It’s sexy and steamy, but I had to reread a couple times to make sure I caught everything. If I had a suggestion, it would be to make the story longer. I want to know what happens next.

Did I mention the sex? I haven’t and I should’ve because it’s smoking hot and totally worth the read. I needed a cool drink by the end of the tale.

If you want a story that’s got a boat load of heart and lots of heat, then you need to read Jonathan’s Garden of Eden.

Being a Storm Rider is no easy task. Especially when it comes to ridding hurricanes. Cecilia and Seth are partners in work, but not in love. Their shared feelings have been buried for a long time. When an angel plummets from Heaven, they must face their darkest fears.

Jacob might be an angel, but he’s not who he appears to be. Once he meets Cecilia, he wants nothing more than to love her. However, he has to confront his brethren to avert an oncoming war his call. When things go horribly wrong, he turns to Seth to help him save the woman they both love.

God has taken a hiatus from heaven and his angels, charged with protecting humanity, have decided to exterminate instead. Who will stand before the mass of powerful beings and stop the impending apocalypse? What about one of their own?

Jacob, whose real identity I won’t share as it will spoil the storyline, is fed up with the constant bickering between his brothers and sisters in heaven. The angels have had enough of mankind’s abuse and destruction of the Earth and many think it’s time to eliminate them. But Jacob disagrees. Despite his Father’s absence, he knows God would never abide such a plan. Perhaps if he can elicit the Storm Riders’ help, he can stop the impending war. What he doesn’t anticipate is the feelings he develops for the only female Rider of the bunch, Cecelia. Angels don’t have souls. They don’t feel love. At least, not on a mortal level. And yet, this tiny woman manages to touch a cord in him so deep he feels it in every fiber of his angelic being.

Seth has been a Rider, among other things, for centuries. His latest partner, Cecelia, was everything he could ever ask for as a co-worker, and more. Problem is, every time he tries to tell her how he feels, they end up in an argument. Things have been stressed between them for quite some time, ever since they tried to be intimate. He’s not sure what happened or how to fix things, but his heart tells him he must. When Jacob arrives and starts moving in on his girl, Seth knows he has to do something. He fears this man/angel’s presence will only spell trouble for the woman he loves. But can he convince her to listen to reason without biting his head off?

Cecelia is confused about her feelings for Seth. Deep down, she knows she loves him, but doubts he shares her sentiment. After their failed attempt at intimacy, things just haven’t been the same. They fight terribly and can hardly be around each other without having a yelling match. When she rescues Jacob from the ocean, she quickly develops an attachment to him, even before she knows what and who he really is. Faced with one man she loves but can’t get along with, and another she craves because he gives her a sense of comfort, she doesn’t know how to choose. Is it possible to have both?

Impassioned Waters has an interesting storyline. The characters are intriguing and easy to identify with. I found myself frustrated with Seth and Cecelia and wanted to reach in the book and give them both a little shake. They’re both so stubborn.

Jacob adds a different twist to things. At first, I wasn’t sure if I liked his presence or not, but as things progressed, I understood his role. There were quite a few editing mistakes that were distracting — mostly missing words or words that just didn’t make sense in the sentence (i.e. way when it should have been away). Also, there was one place where the editing strike-throughs hadn’t been removed. And, while this is a personal pet peeve of mine and in no way detracts from the story, I have to mention that the cover on the book does not match the description of the female character. The characters, particularly Seth, didn’t follow his role the way I would have expected at the end, especially since it was such a stark contrast to how he’d been the entire story. But, I understand his reasoning for the change, in relation to his feelings for Cecelia. Overall, it proved to be a different story that had enough appeal to be worth reading.

If angels who aren’t so angelic strike your fancy, if a fiery woman who can hold her own in a job predominately ruled by men makes you say, “heck yeah!”, and a if man who is willing to keep trying to win his girl despite the competition melts your heart, then grab a copy of Impassioned Waters, book three in Ms. Hart’s Storm Rider series, you’re sure to be intrigued by her characters.

One man’s arms sends a young woman plummeting into hell, but can she learn to trust the hands held out willing to lift her into heaven?

At thirty-four Miranda Harper finds herself trapped in a loveless, emotionally abusive marriage. When her husband finally steps too far over the line, she must find the strength within to begin her life anew. After moving herself halfway across the country she finds that friendship and a second chance at love are within her grasp. However, she has to take lessons in how to trust again.

Doctors Chase Pruitte and Victor Burns, who have been intermittent lovers since their days in medical school, have their toughest case ahead of them in teaching Miranda what it means to truly be loved. The two bisexual men have been unwilling to fully commit their lives to each other due to their continued attraction and desire for women, and not always the same one. However, from the moment Miranda enters their lives they know that the skittish beauty if perfect for them, and they set out to win her heart together.

Can the three of them strike a perfect balance?

Verbal abuse can devastate a person as thoroughly as physical abuse. The pain of living in a verbal abusive marriage can destroy a person and make them gun shy. In this highly emotional tale, Miranda Harper grabbed my heart from the start and made me ache for her. It was hard not to cry as I read about her abuse and shattered dreams when she realized that she had married a monster. When she finally finds the strength to fight back, divorce her husband and begin a new life in a new city, my first thought was “you go girl”.

There is one sentence that stood out and had me chuckling: “If you need to hit someone…aim for Vic, because I’m a big pussy,” which reminded me of a scene in the movie Steel Magnolias. The Perfect Balance is written with the British style of spelling that is unique and a little different then what I am use to reading. However, the story line was realistic and well thought out so it was easy to connect with the characters and fall in love with all of them. The sex scenes between the three are chocolate melting hot and will steam up the windows with the graphic details.

The Perfect Balance is book five in the Perfect Love Series, which means I’m on the hunt for the other four to see what they are about. In an effort to escape her sister’s sadistic lust for power and her clan’s dark family curse, Simone retreats into the world of the vampire for survival purposes. While dwelling within the coven, she meets her vampire mates Sax and Lucius. Eventually, coven law requires them to turn her vampire. There’s just one little problem. Her mates are unaware of Simone’s true nature. How will Simone survive the vampires discovering her identity–especially when others of her kind have been enemies of Steeleheart Coven for centuries? Furthermore, can she escape her sister’s clutches and avoid embracing the dark destiny of her clan?

A new take on sleeping with the enemy, one with a paranormal twist…

Simone is desperate to escape her murdering sister, Selena. She knew her sister had embraced her inner evil, but she had no idea how deep her betrayal went. Most wolf shifters were harmless. But once they took allegiance with the dark side and murdered one of their own kind, they became a Hrothega, a vicious killing machine hell bent on power and control over everything around them. Knowing the only way to escape either being killed by her twin or embracing the same evil, Simone elicits the help of a dear friend. It seems as though she jumps from the pan into the fire when her plan takes an unexpected turn. She’ll have to reach deep within to face the trials ahead.

Lucian and Sax have been friends for many years. They share just about everything, including their mate. Unknowing of the dark secrets she’s kept hidden from them, they don’t understand why Simone continues to defy their coven leader’s wish that she be turned into a vampire like them. For Lucian, it also means choosing between a mate and his own flesh and blood. He’ll need some honest answers from his brother before he can decide. Perhaps it’s time for a change in the way things are done. But is he up for the task?

Of Wolf’s Blood offers an interesting twist to the typical werewolf/vampire tales. While there have been many versions of such forbidden love, this one is new and refreshing. The dilemma for Simone is intriguing, and left me wondering if the author had made up the term Hrothega, or if she had just introduced me to another paranormal creature described in folklore. While the story certainly posed an appealing plot, it lacked enough character development to make it memorable. The content felt rushed. Grammar usage and punctuation were handled well enough, and there were only a few editing errors and point-of-view violations that caught my eye. Probably the most limiting aspect to this tale is its length. Had some pertinent scenes been played out more, and perhaps some additional time spent on Lucian and Sax, it would have felt more complete at the end.

Still, fr a refreshingingly new twist to the forbidden love between werewolves and vampires, grab a copy of Charisma Knight’s Of Wolf’s Blood. It’s a fast paced story with enough hot sex and thrilling danger to keep you on edge of your seat, curious to see what happens next.

Noah knows he’s made some mistakes. He hasn’t been paying attention to security like he should. His preoccupation with their mate has left them exposed and his brother fighting for his life. It hurts to ignore Eve, but he has to do it for the good of the pack.

Eve knows exactly why he’s pulled away, but now that she realizes her feelings for Noah go beyond lust, this is one woman who is going to teach the leader of the pack a thing or two about love.

Welcome back to Passion, Alaska, the daytime temperatures may run cold but there are plenty of hot blooded shifters to warm up the nights. In the second installment of this terrific series the focus is primarily on the building relationship between Noah and Eve.

Eve is a little intimidated by the thought of loving six men but Alpha shifter, Noah Dillon, is currently causing her the most internal stress. If he doesn’t stop blowing hot and cold with his emotions he’s going to have more than an unknown evil out to harm or kill the members of the Dillon pack to worry about. To quote Noah’s own thoughts when thinking about the prior Alpha, his father, “… he had held a lot of power, but all of them knew the one person they had to answer to was their mate.”

Ms. West has a wonderfully vivid writing style that draws the reader into the story from the very beginning. Noah has an intensity about him that vibrates off the page. The reader can feel her anxiety and apprehension in regards to the idea of these men being other than 100% human. She’s overwhelmed by her own attraction to each of the Dillon men and those emotions boil over more than once in this short story. Ms. West brings the reader right into the room with Noah and Eve wither they are fighting each other or simply fighting their combustible chemistry. One of my favorite lines in the book comes from Eve trying to keep Noah from distracting her. She tells him “You touch me, and I lose all ability to think”.

Aiden is intrigued with Sabine, her wantonness, her desire to experience life, even the protection and love she shows her friend. One afternoon isn’t enough, but she’s promised to another. Intent on having her, Aiden sets out to destroy the other man and have Sabine to himself.

However, Sabine does a great job of finding that perfect balance between keeping up appearances (and thus keeping her family’s reputation pristine) and crossing the line (enabling her complete enjoyment), making her a more complex character than you first suspect. Rett Cameron is stranded in Resort City without a cent to her name. She wants to go home to Australia but how does she do that without money? When one of the locals offers to pay her for her sexual services, she’s stunned. Sex with strangers? For money? Or is there more involved?

Hamish Clark, the local strip club owner, has a suggestion for Rett. Strip for me and I’ll pay you. The minute he saw Rett he wanted her. He soon discovers she has other needs than just money. But Hamish has a problem. Not all women like him. One wants him dead.

Hot, raw, sensual, with a villain and a believable love story! For only forty-six pages, Strip for Me is a firecracker!

Broke and desperate to get home, Loretta “Ret” Cameron walks into Hamish Clark’s The Howl and the Pussy hoping for a job as a waitress. But Hamish doesn’t need a waitress; he needs a stripper or a fetish worker. So Hamish asks Ret to strip for him. Sparks fly immediately between Hamish and Ret. Their verbal sparring heightens their attraction and it’s just delicious to read. Ret and Hamish immediately combust, and Ret decides to stay as a fetish worker.

Hamish is a strong hero. He is immediately attracted to Ret, but senses she needs something more. So he hires her to work as a fetish worker at his club. He’s protective and just as attracted to Ret as Ret is to him.

Ret is a fascinating heroine. When I read the description for this book I had visions on a somewhat inexperienced girl forced to work as a stripper. Instead, Ret is so much more. She isn’t some shrinking violet; she’s a strong, sexual woman who’s had fun and grabs life by the horns. As her sister tells her, “You’re a gypsy, Loretta. You’re always off on one wild adventure after another, expecting people to bail you out when you’re in trouble. You have to stay in one place and learn to be normal. You can’t act reckless all your life.”

To which Ret asks herself, “What the hell is normal?”

As Ret starts working as a fetish worker, you’d think this would draw Ret and Hamish apart. Instead, her sexual adventures brings them closer. What I’d thought might come off as erotica scenes in a romance didn’t because of Ret’s focus on Hamish. Ms. Jones showed remarkable skill in this respect.

At the core of the book is a beautiful and raw relationship between Ret and Hamish. It’s not your traditional romance, but it dazzles. The sex is hot, steamy, and sometimes funny. I not only laughed with Ret, I also lusted for Hamish with her. I felt both Ret and Hamish’s emotions. The villain interweaved perfectly with the story, and created a great climax. The author’s voice was strong and carried the story. Ms. Jones gave Ret a spunkiness that made this story crackle.

If you’re looking for an erotic short story with captivating characters, a unique story, and scrumptiously raw sex, Strip for Me is for you. This is the first book I’ve read by Amarinda Jones and I can’t wait to read more.
