For me, the title had a double meaning that lends a clue to the sexual kink that’s important to the underlying growth in Beck’s character as well as his budding relationship with Meg. Bound also describes how Meg is the glue that unites the twin’s souls and gives them incredible talents.

Ms. Oak throws in several secondary characters that add so much to this epic story. A cousin to the twins and a vampire, Dante, plays an intricate part of insuring that Meg has a chance to realize the love she has for Beck and Cian even as an evil hag tries to tear them apart. I can’t wait to read Dante’s story. Ms. Oak has already indicated that it’s in the works. The small sample of how she handles the vampire plane was but a teaser that has me impatiently waiting for the next installment.

Bound has all the best elements of an epic novel with a smoking hot love story. The characters have both strengths and weaknesses that make their fantastical story all the more believable. Pick up a copy of Bound today and for goodness sake NEVER ACCEPT A RIDE FROM A KELPIE!

This is a tough story to tell in so few words. Ms. Dare does a good job of showing a couple that is not quite getting their needs met with each other and knows they need a third in their relationship to complete them. But the first meeting seemed rushed and without a huge amount of chemistry between the dom and the two subs.

The story quickly moves along into their first scene together. The sex scenes were sensual and hot but the story was lacking in character development. This story needed more time to develop the love we see at the end between the characters.

Still, this book was a very enjoyable read. The chemistry between the threesome sizzled and the dynamic between the characters, especially the two subs, was fascinating. The story was light and fun without getting too invested in the characters. If you like your BDSM light with a sexy ménage, this book is a definite must read for you.

Being a dedicated lover of sci-fi, my own one unshakeable, steadfast conviction of the genre is simply that it must be believable, and this one is. All kudos to you, Ms Sarai. Just great!

In Pride and Prejudice: Hidden Lusts, Mr. Darcy has never been more devilish and the seemingly chaste Elizabeth never more turned on. The entire cast of characters from Austen’s classic is here, caught with their breeches unbuttoned and their skirts raised high in this re-imagined red-hot Regency romance. And of course, there’s plenty of good old-fashioned bodice ripping that shows no pride or prejudice and reveals hot hidden lusts in every scandalous page-turning chapter.

Do the “classics” entertain you with their period language and beautiful imagery but leave you wanting the characters to break out of those molds and just get real? No, I’m not suggesting a Real World Regency England. But if you would like to know what happens when the BBC gets crossed with Cinemax look no further than Mitzi Szereto’s Pride and Prejudice: Hidden Lusts. This is not your high school lit teacher’s Jane Austen but she would have to have appreciated the unerring way Ms. Szereto keeps the story within the proper time period in both language and setting.

I have to admit something that I’m not terribly proud of: I’ve never read Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. How silly is it that a lover of literature has never cracked the binding on one of the most well known and acclaimed pieces of written word in history? But it didn’t stop me from being completely intrigued at how well it might be rewritten. With a healthy dose of human sexuality that had me reaching for fan I couldn’t put this book down before reading its exciting conclusion. Ms. Szereto leaves nothing on the taboo table unexplored…okay, almost nothing…the animals are safe and I’m pretty sure everything else is mostly legal or at the very least consensual.

This hooked me straight away and I enjoyed the witty banter between these two while all this is going on. When the scare is over and they go their separate ways you’re hoping they meet up again and soon.

I haven’t read any of the other books in this series but it really didn’t matter because the author features some of the characters from other stories and gives a quick run through on who they are and their relationship to Matt. He’s hot, hunky and when Savannah is cold to his advances, you feel for but him but know she can’t resist him for long.

When the two do get together, it’s hot and sexy and just when you think things are going to work out, Savannah plays even harder to get. There’s a very sexy ménage a trios in the middle of the story with another hot, hunky male who’s a friend of Matt and appeared in another story. You do wonder if Savannah will ever commit to Matt and begin to worry that maybe she’ll continue to play it cool.

However, this is a romance and the ending is very satisfying. Dialogue and pacing are both spot on for this short read. In fact, the author does a first rate job with adding enough back story without you getting lost, but not too much that it interrupts this couple’s story. This one definitely has me wanting to read more books in this series.

Is it any wonder she begins to doubt whether she is enough for all her husbands? Can the men convince Mikayla she is all they want and need? Can they find a way to stop Peter’s ex once and for all? Can Mikayla get her fighting spirit back in time stop things from going wrong?

Mikayla has been through a lot in a short while, and it is finally getting to her. Although she loves all eight of her husbands, for the first time she questions whether she made the right choice for them. Mikayla’s husbands are all still totally devoted to her happiness, but, like typical men, they don’t get how losing the baby affected her so deeply. I liked that they were willing to give her the space and time she needed to come to terms with things and open up in her own time. Each man brings something different to the relationship, but their love is what will finally get Mikayla through it all.

There are some hilarious scenes here, especially when the raiders are exposed to the ‘mouse tears’. Some of the secondary characters are interesting, and I hope to see more of Tracey and her husbands in the rest of this series. Does Mikayla reveal her doubts and fears to the men she loves? You’ll have to read Keen Inclination to get the answer. But, as always, this series must be read in order, as these are not stand-alone books.
