She chose the wolf she needed and got the man of her dreams.

The Were Chronicles, Book 1

Sent to live in the city long ago for her own protection, Saffa has always longed to return to her mountain home. She is a multimorph, and women of her rare bloodline are highly prized by those who aspire to supreme power over the pack. The last thing she wants to be is anyone’s stepping stone—especially Bardo Redmaven’s. Justice Ambervane would be her first choice…if only he’d stop holding her at arm’s length.

The wolf within Justice would eagerly take Saffa as his mate, but for secret reason of his own, his human conscience has always resisted. He can’t believe Saffa risked coming out of hiding, even to warn him of the disturbing activities of the power-hungry Redmaven clan. She’s dangerously close to her first breeding cycle, and giving in to her irresistible scent makes him a marked man. And Saffa even more of a target.

What he needs is backup, and there’s only one wolf he trusts enough: Drew. As the coming fight backs all three of them into a tight corner, the heat explodes into a passion that Justice wonders if he’ll live to regret…

Warning: Quick, erotic tumble with a frisky trio.

Saffa has wanted Justice for as long as she could remember, but Justice would never give in to her. When she is sent to live in the city because of much needed protection, she detests it. Yet, Saffa is important for a lot of reasons. The main is she is a multimorph, and women of her rare bloodline are highly prized by those who aspire to supreme power over the pack. Because of this less than savory characters desire her. Saffa doesn’t care. Justice would be her first choice…now if she could just get him to agree.

Justice wants Saffa as his mate, just as badly as Saffa wants to be it, but for secret reasons, he has always resisted. Still, Justice knows this situation is dangerous and needs backup. There’s only one wolf he trusts enough: Drew. As the coming fight backs all three of them into a tight corner, the heat explodes into a passion that Justice wonders if he’ll live to regret…

Ms. Michaels does a wonderful job of developing strong characters in a brilliant plot. Justice is a true alpha wolf, but Saffa and Drew hold their own as well. When this trio comes together in this attention-grabbing tale the results are explosive and leave you panting for more. There are twists and turns in this story that will leave the reader on edge but satisfied. I am looking forward to the rest of this series. I am officially a fan of Ms. Michaels.

Her Chosen Wolf is a great read! This short novella is one you won’t be able to put down once you start reading. I would highly recommend this book.

One’s a canine. One’s a cat. And one’s a vampire who hates the sight of blood. Together, they’re the Shifter Sisters, a hard-rocking band of misfits who stand by each other when the chips are down — no matter how much the fur might fly the rest of the time!

Luna, the band’s drummer and a werewolf by birth, has a talent for hooking up with men who only let her down — until a sexy Irish songwriter convinces Lu she’s finally found The One. But how are you supposed to land the man of your dreams when you really do turn into a bitch at “that time of the month”? And can you ever find love while hiding half of who you are?

Tori hasn’t exactly had a great time with men, either — in fact, the last time she let a man steal her heart, she went to his bed a virgin and woke up a vampire. Now, though, she’s being pursued by a wealthy, mysterious stranger, and Tori finally has to admit she’s tempted. But what is up with Drake Foster? One minute, he’s charming and witty; the next, he’s arrogant, demanding, and even sexier than before. Is he just one more supernatural bastard out to fuck with her life — or has Tori, all unwittingly, found two new chances at love?

Furious that Tori got the man she wanted, Persia is determined to find a beau who can outshine even Drake Foster. Which won’t be easy; he’ll have to be handsome, suave, sexy, romantic, powerful — and rich. In the meantime, there’s young, luscious Billy Gruff, a perfect consolation for her wounded pride. But when Billy takes her home to meet his brothers, Persia finds herself with an abundance of mouthwatering choices… enough choices to cool even this keyboard-playing kitten’s wanderlust!

This collection contains the previously released novellas Sex and the Single Werewolf; Once Bitten, Twice Shy; and Stray Cat Strut.

They are like no other girl group ever. The Shifter Sisters is a rock trio with a definite difference. They play bars and small clubs, and move on when they need to, which is whenever one of them makes a mistake. They call Portland, Maine, home for now, and hopefully that can stay the same for a while. They pack Geno’s night after night, these three unusual ladies: Luna, the drummer, a five foot ten inch werewolf; bass player Victoria, a tall and lovely vampire; and vocalist and guitarist Persia, a curvy and voluptuous woman who becomes a white cat at a whim. This collection of three previously released books tell their stories, and gives a glimpse into the lives of these three that are all the family they have.

Sex and the Single Werewolf is Lu’s tale. Lu is forever picking the wrong man, and in Portland, the wrong man is Rick. After she catches him cheating, she bites him in the rear (as a wolf) and goes home. So you should really take into consideration certain factors purchase levitra no prescription before buying Acai. Once Bitten, Twice Shy: The first time Tori fell in love, she gave her heart, her virginity and her human life. That was her first and last try at love. Now she’s sort of adopted Lu and Persia and they are her family, but once in a while she wishes for more. Then a mysterious man, Drake Foster, begins wooing her. But his mood swings have her confused, and she is not easily fooled. Can Tori find happiness with him? Is he more than he seems?

Stray Cat Strut is Persia’s signature tune when The Shifter Sisters perform. It doesn’t matter to her that Lu and Tori hate the song, she is determined to have her way. Persia needs attention like plants need rain. When Lu and then Tori find love, Persia runs away in search of her own man. What she gets is so much more than she bargains for. Can Persia finally settle down and be happy in the Gruff family?

Sierra Dafoe has written three of the most delightful, hilarious and outrageous characters in Lu, Tori and Persia. Portland, Maine will never be the same without these three. The local color is wonderful, and I’m betting Ms. Dafoe has spent some time in the area herself to be so descriptive in these three stories. I enjoyed the interaction between the three women, even when they weren’t getting along with each other. I could still see the affection each had for the others, and there were times when the two shifters showed characteristics of their other side. Persia was “catty” even when she was human, and Lu showed her vulnerable side, especially in her choice of the wrong man over and over.

The heat level for the sex goes through the roof at times. Can you say fire extinguisher? Keep one handy! Do they each get their man, or men? I’ll just say that there are three happy ever afters and let you read The Shifter Sisters and judge for yourself.

When Amy Bitonu returned to her hometown, she had no idea how much her love life was about to change.

She had given up on ever finding the right man, and she never imagined the two Greek gods from her dreams would turn out to be real. To top it off, they claim she’s their long lost goddess.

Long ago, Hypnos and Thanatos were unable to protect their goddess from destruction. Now that they’ve found her in modern times, they hope to rekindle their love and unite their powers once again, but Amy has no memory of them. Worse, she doesn’t believe their story.

In order to have the men of her dreams, Amy will have to believe the impossible.

Amaryllis Bitonu has come back to be with the only person who has ever really cared for her: her granny Flora Daniel who took her in and raised her when her addict mother died. Granny Flora is sick and dying, and Amy is angry with herself for staying away so long. Ever since she was little, Granny Flora told Amy tales of the Greek Gods and Goddesses, but they aren’t real, right? They are just stories to tell a young girl to stir her imagination.

All too soon, Granny Flora is gone, and Amy is heartbroken. She cries in the arms of what she thinks is a kind, and quite handsome, hospital worker. This handsome hunk is actually Thanatos, the God of Death, come to escort Granny Flora on. He realizes that Amy is the lost love of Hypnos, the God of Sleep. Amy doesn’t believe that the Greek Gods were ever real, and believes that Than and Nos are two extremely gorgeous hunks with a bit of a mental problem. And until she believes that the Gods are real, then they have no chance of winning her to their side.

Believing Is Seeing is a wonderful twist on the Greek mythology that I grew up reading. The character development in this book is wonderful, and the gradual realization that Than and Nos love her, Amy, not just an ideal that she may have been at one time is fantastic.

I love Greek mythology, and the research that Ms Davies has done is masterful. I love it when Amy’s best friend DeeDee makes these two strong men promise to play fair; DeeDee is actually Aphrodite you see, and she wants them to woo Amy properly. The sex is, of course, way beyond volcanic. One of the hottest scenes is the one between Than and Nos, with Amy watching surreptitiously from the hall when she goes to wake them one morning.

Can Than and Nos convince Amy to believe, before Zeus succeeds? Can Amy accept two men into her life and her heart? And just what is DeeDee going to do with that leash and collar she put on Zeus? For answers to these questions, and many more, read Believing is Seeing. It is a wonderful, sexy and totally off the wall adventure in reading fun.

I wondered when Darius matched Aimee with Yusuf as he is the playboy of Dubai.

Yusuf Abudallah fell for Aimee as soon as he saw her by the pool. I loved how he was jealous over the waiter. Then when Yusuf put her at ease when she wanted to leave, it showed his depth of feeling for her.

I love how Yusuf woos Aimee but I never laughed so hard as when Darius bursts in on them.

Just what exactly happens when an angel goes bad?

Stripped of his voice, his memories, and his divinity, Rion Hunter falls to Earth in a fiery blaze. After crashing into a muddy sheep pasture in Scotland, the disgraced angel finds himself face-to-face with an unlikely rescuer: a sidhe-born farmer named Rex.

Rex finds himself rapidly falling for the beautiful angel, which can be risky when the object of your affection just might be psychotic. And if that isn’t enough, the men find that they’ve come to the attention of a ravenous succubus, who has developed an appetite for Scottish farmers.

Falling isn’t so bad… it’s the landing that hurts.

Something is seriously wrong in Heaven. Kokobiel, the Star of God, has been accused of treason and thrown from heaven to a muddy sheep pasture somewhere in Scotland. A Sidhe-born farmer named Rex finds him, and together they attempt to understand what has happened. Rex gives him a new name more suitable for Earth, and Kokobiel becomes Orion Hunter. After some time alone together, it becomes clear that Rex is ill equipped to educate Rion to the ways of mortals, so they travel to the Other Place.

Rex also has to come to terms with his growing attraction to the angel, his first attraction to another man. Once at the Other Place, Rex and Rion separate, and what is one day to Rex, is a year for Rion. Once they leave the Other Place, they encounter the Angel of Death, they draw the attention of a succubus and find the need to leave to avoid demons.

In Bad Angels: Falling Belinda McBride has created a marvelous world, not modern, but believable. I loved the interaction between the characters. Rex has his hands full with Rion, and that is both figuratively and eventually literally. She has a wicked sense of humor, and it shows up in the most unlikely of places in this story. And the things Rex can do with that tail are beyond hot. The love between Rion and Rex grows slowly, but becomes stronger as time passes. The sex is hot, whether Rion’s partner is Carly or Rex, and the scene with Rex, Rion and the succubus on the road home is scorching hot. And I laughed out loud when Rex tried to explain “morning wood” to the newly fallen angel.

This is a very entertaining read, and I will be looking forward to the others as they come out. I just have to know more about these two, and I hope she answers the burning question “who is behind the problems in Heaven, and how will it all be revealed?”

Larissa comes to Kansas City after winning a trip to see where her favorite series of books takes place. She expects to have a great time with her three scheduled fantasy dates and an all-expenses-paid shopping spree. When she meets two men at different points in her vacation, she is suddenly torn between them. Finding out they know each other, and are perfectly willing to share her, in and out of bed, is more than a dream come true. It’s a fantasy.

Devon and Jared know that Larissa is their mate; they just have to convince her. And hope she doesn’t freak when she finds out they are the werewolves she has been reading about for the past six years. But they can’t tell her until their pack has finished “testing her suitability” as an alpha female. All they can do is hope she will forgive them when she finds out the truth.

Yet, the real truth is something none of them suspects. And may be enough to drive them apart permanently.

Publisher’s Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: Anal play/intercourse.

As a reader of paranormal romance this book caught my attention right off the bat. With a heroine who wins a contest to spend a week in Kansas city and have three dates with the cover models of her favorite werewolf romance series I couldn’t resist being drawn into this world. Add in the heroin being full figured and not the usual svelte woman and you have a great story.

As soon as our heroine lands in Kansas it seems mishap after mishap happens. Larissa takes it all in stride though, not letting anything rile her. After all she is on vacation and she plans to enjoy herself. As she enters the restaurant to meet her first date she runs into a gorgeous hunk of a man. He makes her weak in the knees just from a glance but she must concentrate on her meeting for the contest. So she dismisses their meeting for the moment. That evening when she meets one of her dates from the contest she is appalled by his behavior and leaves to eat at another table, where the hunk from the restaurant comes and shares dinner with her.

Larissa and Jarred hit it off right from the start. Larissa reluctantly tells him why she is there and that she also has another date the next night with Devon the hunk from the store. Once Larissa and Devon have their date she finds that she is just as attracted to him as she is to Jarred and cannot imagine losing either one of them. Jarred and Devon recognize Larissa as their mate right from the beginning. They just need to convince her off it and that they are actually the very werewolves she has read about.

Can they Larissa accept what these two men have to offer her? Will she be their mate and even accept that they are werewolves or will she run away? Can they be happy as a triad relationship or will Larissa only choose one of them if either?

This story was well written and had a great flow. I truly enjoyed the depth these characters had. Larissa was a great heroine. Even though she has vowed to live life and not let others views bring her down because she does not fit the stereotype of today’s woman, she still shows an insecurity every now and then. I loved the scene in the restaurant where her date tries to demean Larissa for being full figured and she not only stands up for herself she puts him in his place. To see her grow and enjoy the love and affection given to her from both Devon and Jarred was a beautiful thing. The love and protection that the two men show Larissa was just as nice to see.

Talya Bosco brings you into her world and keeps you hooked from the beginning of this story and does not let you go until the end. I truly enjoyed this book and cannot wait to read more from this author and especially on those hunky werewolves from Kansas.

Being bad always gets more press than being good.

Women’s pro basketball star, Taryn Belle scores baskets on the court and conquests off the court. Her reputation as the baddest of bad girls garners major publicity for women’s sports. Cody Brickman, a hotshot quarterback with a wild streak, falls prey to one of Taryn’s promotion schemes, and she falls prey to a night in his bed.

Cody suspects her bad girl image is an elaborate ruse fueled by a string of carefully crafted publicity stunts, especially after she publicly slams his sexual prowess. He backs Taryn into a corner until the only way out is to play the part she’s created by showing Cody how bad she can be. Jerome, Taryn’s long-time admirer and Cody’s teammate, will take Taryn any way he can get her, even if it means sharing.

How far will a girl go to publicize the sport she loves and maintain her bad girl reputation in a game where the winner takes all?

Warning: Not for the faint-hearted.

Inequality of the sexes in sports, salaries and publicity is not what I would think would be material for a romance story but I was wrong. I have to warn you that Winner Takes All is a very hot, very steamy, and extremely sexy story when all those things are combined.

Taryn Belle is a six foot one female basketball player. When I think of sports stars, most are pretty clean cut. Not so our Taryn. She is the epitome of the “bad girl” image. She’s been on the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, posed for Playboy magazine and has been fodder for all the rags. Little does anyone know that this is the way she raises money for her charities since female salaries are significantly lower than male salaries. Taryn unfortunately picks on the male “bad boy” of football to pull her next money raising stunt.

Cody “The Brick” Brickman believes everything he reads about Taryn and is more than happy to go with her wherever she may lead. I knew he had Taryn confused when he made her lose control not only on the dance floor but in the limo as well. This drug is online viagra australia deeprootsmag.org known as the weekend pill. At six foot six, Cody thinks he is more than a match for Taryn until the newspaper reveals her tell-all.

This story moves very quickly. There are many deep facets to both Taryn and Cody that we slowly see as the story progresses. I loved how Taryn ripped Cody down just to build him up again–with a pool table no less. There is a cute scene with Viagra comments that eventually leads to a sizzling three way. And what can I say about her fantasy list except keep a fan near by.

There were many secondary characters that made this story a joy to read. I loved Levi, Mr. Conservative Cowboy. His use of a camera and other apparatus is amazing. Jerome is Taryn’s best buddy for the past ten years. His loyalty and willingness to do anything for her is shown throughout. But my all time favorite character is Boris. Nothing beat his nails in the chest among other things.

Winner Takes All is the first book in the Delectable Bad Boys Series. I can’t wait for the next book since I found Winner Takes All to be a winner in my book and I hope that you will agree.
